I MADE A TERRIBLE MISTAKE (light-hearted)
I MEANT TO SHUFFLE MY QUEUE AFTER GOING THROUGH MY OTHER REBLOG BLOG'S 'MENTAL HEALTH'-TAGGED POSTS SO I CAN ADD STUFF TO THE FAIRLY NEW 'TAKE THAT, DEPRESSION' TAG HERE AND AFTER ADDING A WHOOOOLE BUNCHA LUCIFER FANART
BUT I HABITUALLY SHUFFLED MY QUEUE TOO EARLY
NOW THE 'TAKE THAT, DEPRESSION'S HAVE THE QUEUE PROPORTIONS ALL MESSED UP LOL
after a Lucifer fanart tomorrow queues, i'll be decreasing queue to just 2 a day until i get at least 100 more Lucifers XD hopefully it'll only be a few days or a week. i have soooooo many Lucifers to queue XD

i lied i brought the daily queue down to 4 earlier than i thought i would XD i reeeeaaallly want to max out the queue by getting it to 1000. i've never done that for any blog before and it sounds so fun

making a reminder for myself to, in two weeks, drop my daily queueing down from five posts to three. my sprained hand is doing better!! :) and i want to build my queue back up!

dang even with queueing 4 posts a day, my queue will last until April 24, about four and a half months. (and there are some posts manually scheduled for after then too)
looking forward to maybe some time maxing out my queue. might up the post rate to 5 or 6 posts a day then :)

some ducky content from a visit to some trails today :) you can see a mandarin duck in the lower right corner of the photo
#duckies#rexy posting#i wanted to write a brief drabble about a photographer who informed me about the mandarin duck and how they're rare in this area#but i am SLEEPY#so just know there were also wood ducks which i was able to offhandedly recognize and name to my friend because of my Lulu obsession#and a single mandarin duck was vibing with them. and there was a second group of wood ducks that instead had mallards with them#good duckies#good day

i'm so confused since there were multiple posts in my drafts that were fully tagged and ready for queueing. but i'm not sure if i actually queued them earlier or if tumblr acted weird and drafted them instead
so some posts may reblog twice with the exact same caps locked comments on wildly different dates

was queueing a pancake post and started caps locking in the tags about how tasty they looked
then i realized.
i have pancake mix.
and eggs.
and milk.
i can make pancakes
so i did
they were very thin and runny at first even tho very yummy and i liked the texture. reminded me of... i'm going to embarrass myself and say i don't remember what it's called and it's definitely not scones, but fancy and sweet very very thin bread.
(i tried googling "types of thin bread fancy" and "very thin breakfast bread" and a few other searches 'cause i had it at a pancake house once bUT ANYWAY)
(EDIT: CREPES. I WAS THINKING OF CREPES)
that right pancake is shaped like the front of a manta ray and it's cute
see the resemblance to the cute silly? cute pancake silly.
then when i got toward the end of the batter (after thickening it by adding more flour) i forgot to put the pancake to the side so i could fit two at a time in the pan. made a clown face by accident because i decided to make one long pancake around the edge to finish the batter
two tiny bits of batter make the eyes
and then this incredibly skillful (/j) arrangement of pancakes reminded me of a sea angel

it was a sea creature pancake night. (yes clowns are sea creatures)
