thinking about how MK straight up was never supposed to exist side by side with the group, even as Wukong’s pupil like at ALL. The cycle was meant to restart over and over and over, his friends (the current gen pilgrims) pigsy, tang, mei, sandy, were just another cycle of reincarnations. and MK was created to sacrifice himself to RESTART the cycle. He ended up with Pigsy BECAUSE of Xiangliu, who supposedly wanted to give MK a chance to choose for himself, so Xiangliu woke him up years earlier than what was supposed to be. Like this sunshine main character in this bright and colorful show was solely a sacrifice to restart the world which now that world is one where he’s surrounded by loved ones and people who care about him and he lives not knowing about his purpose till now… i thought this was a silly monster of the week cartoon guys what happened 😞🙏
