Revolution
The world has become a cold place, a rude host to people with no names. Events repeat in this disordered loop, where you walk, blinded by the pain.
The cries echo deep from the well, and you keep blaming yourself, doubting the fault lies anywhere else.
But when the lies sound like truths, let the cracks in the masks be proof, of the evil that festers in youth, feeding off souls, drinking us like vermouth.
Now, look at your fading reflection, trace the shadows of your dreams. Stand tall and kill the infection, for the world is not what it seems.
Listen close—you'll hear the answer, between the pulse and the silence. Let that be your guidance, reject the oppression that spreads like cancer.
And I'll leave you with this: Human to human, we don't have to live in the abyss. Rise from the bitumen, hope will be our reperfusion.

Climbing the Pyramid: A Guide to Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs
Ever found yourself wondering why some days you're all about nailing that job interview, while on others, you're just trying to make it through the day without forgetting to eat? Well, Abraham Maslow's got a theory that explains just that, and it's as cool as your favorite playlist.
Tumblr media
Welcome to Maslow's Pyramid Party
Imagine a pyramid (or just look at the above image) that maps out what we need to live our best lives. At the base are the essentials like food, water, and Wi-Fi (okay, maybe Maslow didn’t mention Wi-Fi, but you get the idea). As you move up, the needs get a bit more complex, ending with the ultimate quest for personal fulfillment.
The Five Floors of Human Needs
Physiological Needs: This is your survival playlist, featuring hits like "Breathing," "Eating," and "Sleeping."
Safety and Security: Once you've got your basic needs on lock, you start craving stability. Think of this as the need for a good security system and health insurance.
Love and Belonging: Now that you're not worried about being eaten by a bear or freezing to death, it's time to find your tribe. This level is all about relationships and feeling part of something.
Self-Esteem: With your crew backing you up, you start focusing on feeling good about what you achieve and who you are. It's like getting likes on your life, not just your posts.
Self-Actualization: The penthouse suite of needs. This is where you're living your truth, doing what you love, and feeling totally fulfilled. It's the dream!
Why This Pyramid Rocks
Maslow's theory is like a map for understanding why we do what we do. It helps us see that before we can chase our dreams, we need to make sure our basic needs are met. It's a reminder that it's okay to focus on the basics when we need to and that everyone's journey up the pyramid is unique.
So, next time you're feeling off your game, check in with yourself. Maybe you're hungry, or perhaps you're feeling a bit lonely. Whatever it is, Maslow’s hierarchy can help you figure out what you need to get back to feeling like a champ.
Remember, life's a journey, not a race. Whether you're working on your base or reaching for the stars, you're doing great. Keep climbing, and let Maslow's pyramid guide you to your personal peak!
Stay Weird & Wonderful,
Krystal

ok, well... it's not just gabimaru telling everyone he possibly can I LOVE MY WIFE I HAVE A WIFE AND I LOVE HER SHE'S MY WIFE that kept me watching, but sagiri's journey with discipline/weakness as a samurai was really cool. (i think they were such great characters i just can't help but be bored by stories that are about people fighting super invincible monsters that they just get battered and bloodied by relentlessly for episode after epiosde ...)
the way she struggles to shut down her sense of doubt and hesitations with discipline in order to be truly strong as a samurai, but realizes that she doesn't need to do that at all, and that incorporating her doubts allows her to be strong, not seeking to be perfectly focused at all times, but "a middle way"... i had to laugh. because that's sort of what I've just figured out myself, very recently, after I've gone through this whole several years of losing my creative motivation after finishing art school and pushing myself so hard to work endlessly to resolve it - and in the height of that time was when i got into this genre of "ancient fantasy warrior seeking to cultivate thier skills/powers through battles with monsters" because i fantasized about that kind of focused, productive obsession, i deeply longed to have a sense of mastery over a craft ... it was comforting to think that even if that kind of innate sense of desire or spark that seemed to have gotten lost in art school somewhere along the way, if i just pushed myself hard enough for long enough, was disciplined, focused, and never gave up, if i kept polishing a stone i would find a gem. but finally in the last few months i just relented and gave up out of pure exhaustion and couldn't try to make myself produce anything anymore, and let myself feel hopeless but just gave into the sense of emptiness and resistance to creativity in my mind ... i remember after only a week or two of refusing to make myself do anything other than only exactly what i wanted to do even if that was exactly nothing (and what i need to live like go to work, get food, etc) i started feeling impulses and desires and creative inclinations that came from a deep place it felt like i'd lost access to those last years in art school. so ... yeah. i don't know. interesting. i knew exactly what she meant that trusting her doubts and hesitation makes her stronger. i wonder if the other samurai/cultivation things i watched years ago were trying to say the same thing and i just ignored it haha
