Oh yea, while I wait for my drawing pen to charge, I don't think I ever shared the little resin things I like to make in my down time. Dear friends and merciful people

Imagine losing everything that is dear to you in one day. This is the harsh reality that my family is facing in Gaza. I am is Hasan Alserr, and I communicate with you with a heart full of pain and a desperate call for help.

On July 28, 2024, my world crashed when my mother and sister were tragically killed during an attack on the tent displaced in the safe areas of Muwasi Khan Yunis, as the Israeli occupation claims. Our family of seven has been destroyed - my father, my only sister four brothers. Now, we are only five people, struggling to survive under horrific conditions.

In addition, my father has the only source of income that supports us, as we have been displaced several times, and every transition strips us of stability and hope. One day the walls were safe, leaving the survivors' family in a temporary tent, holding on to hope amid their broken dreams.

🎀 Hobbies 🎀

I feel as tho I don't have much time to do things besides school, work, some chores, and survive right now, but I've been thinking about some hobbies I enjoy and would like to incorporate into my life when I decide to make the time without burning out!

Reading - I used to be big on reading just about any books I could get my hands on. Then I was really focused on reading self help, and now that I haven't been reading at all, I've been thinking about getting back into reading. Always looking for book recommendations, and I do have my eye on some books I'd like to purchase.

Gardening - if I had the time and space, I'd love to have a flower garden or a vegetable garden. It always makes me happy when the fruits of my efforts come to life, so tending to plants and gardening sounds super fun and relaxing.

Video Games - I used to play video games on and off, but I wouldn't mind owning a PS4 or a Switch and spending some time playing video games whenever I'd want time to wind down.

Cooking/Baking - I love learning things, and the sense of pride I've gotten in the past when receiving praise for things I've cooked or baked has really driven me to want to increase my skill. I've only baked something from scratch once in my life, but I'd really like to expand my skills in making desserts.

Exercise - I'm talking all forms of it! Dancing, martial arts/kickboxing type activities, yoga, pilates, running, swimming, spin/cycling, weight lifting (again), calisthenics, all of it! I don't currently look like the exercise type but I find various forms of movement to be so fun! If I had more time, I'd be trying new things all the time!

Volunteer work - This is something I used to do all the time, and it's a hobby that I enjoyed that kept me humble. Not only that, but I thoroughly enjoy showing kindness and compassion to others. Making a difference in anuwau brings me so much joy, and I love meeting new people and learning their stories. I also would love to volunteer with animals, because they deserve so much love and affection too!

Drawing/Art - I used to draw for fun but when I started college, I didn't have the time to devote to continuously increasing my art skills. I still own a sketch kit, coloring materials, and several sketchbooks so it really is a matter of having time.

Crochet - The thought of making things that I can gift to others seriously makes me so excited!! Crochet seems like such a fun, crafty, relaxing activity and the added fun of gifting those crafts to others would make it so fun!!

Scrapbooking - I don't know if I'd ever do this one, but I do Ike the idea of keeping my memories in a physical space, and not just in like pictures on my phone.

Learning - if school wasn't crazy busy, I'd spend all my time learning languages (ASL, Japanese, Spanish, Korean, Mandarin, Italian, etc), computer coding skills, how to make and do certain things, just anything I can do to keep my mind enriched.

Upcycling/Altering Clothes - I would love to upcycle or alter articles of clothes into more personalized pieces for myself. The thought of having a personalized, hand made closet full of clothes makes me really want to buy a sewing machine and learn how to use it to my advantage!

That's all I can think of for now that I'd like to someday incorporate into my life. Having hobbies is always so fun, but I've been so busy and tired that I don't mess with any of the hobbies I'd want to do. If anyone has any tips for time management, or resources for beginning new hobbies, please let me know!!

Smiling Critters x Jsab Au

Sooooo- for anyone who doesn't know, I love jsab (Just Shapes and Beats) and since I like Smiling Critters too, I went on to do designs for them in a Jsab theme Au for em! It's still in development as I'm planning to include the rest of the toys in Poppy Playtime for the au as well! But have the main characters designs, which are the Smiling Critters!

To clarify

Dogday (P1), Hoppy(p2), Kickin(p3), and Crafty(p4) are the four main heroes of the story, in game known as the players.

Bobby (cube/sad boi), Bubba(Boat), and Picky(Heli) would pick the roles of the friends in the game.

While Catnap would be the main bad guy (Blixer).

idk if someone already thought of this and this is also probably the most obvious reading of it but here i go anyway: i was just walking a dog and listening to potato prints and when phil said "you've come a long way daniel" i was like "huh phil is in the teaching position in all of these just like he was for youtube" like phil just gives editing pro tips the whole time and it all parallels their story as a youtube duo.

and obviously the entertainment industry is rife (not proper usage of that word but it Feels Right so fuck you) with satanic symbolism/imagery/iconography/motifs. being an entertainer is "selling your soul to the devil" etc etc and we know dan hates being a youtuber and does feel that way. you gotta upload twice a day every day in order to be the number one art channel on youtube dot com after all. you gotta make those crafts for satan. bo burnham has a ton of lyrics/songs that i'm thinking about rn like "you used to do comedy when you felt like being funny but now you're contractually obligated so dance you fucking monkeeeey DANCE MONKEY DAAAANCE" and in "repeat stuff" which is a commentary of how mainstream pop love songs and pop stars have to be really superficial and unoriginal because they need to appeal to everyone and at one point he sucks satan off lmao and is like AHFRUEHQFWIIO I AM A VESSEL IDUSHISKA 666 KAJSDFI ILLUMINATI UIGDFSAHIO FREEMASONS. highly recommend looking at the lyrics to that song if you're into that kind of thing.

also the (very rightful) dig at phannies for the "don't cry craft" spamming like "we love all of our crafty audience that spread the message of this channel on all the other videos on the internet! everywhere! everybody enjoyed that!" is how creators who want to keep status have to address their audiences no matter how annoying or harmful they're being. thinking of the ajr line "stay out of politics, stay on the fence / stay out of all of it to keep half your fans" because like,, yeah if a creator ever expresses an opinion that declares their feelings on one side of an issue then they will lose support (smosh is a perfect example of a bunch of people never ever ever expressing an opinion if it could be considered controversial among their audience, like refusing to address the genocide happening right now and just taking their zionist member who the fans are mad at out of some videos to be like "shhhhh nothing to see here we don't know what you're talking about"), ESPECIALLY if that issue is the behaviour of their audience.

I've been watching a lot of crafty videos on youtube, and I saw one of a dragon being sculpted. The dragon in that was really pretty, and it made me think about one of my own dragon bois.

So I thought I'd share a somewhat older (from '22) artwork and a bit of my thoughts on him.

Still real proud of that. It's just... so tasty looking. XD

So, a couple years ago, I had a very story-esque dream about this guy. It was a very short-lived dream, only showing me a few split-second scenes. One of those scenes was this; a dark dragon lifting its head up, it's neck scales lighting up.

The story of the dream seemed to be that the dragon had lost its power somehow, and a young lady agreed to help it regain it. The shot above, I believe, was it returning to power.

Given my art slump right now, I wouldn't mind fixating on this story. I've been doodling the dragon and thinking a little bit about what the story could actually be, so.... I guess I'll see what happens. ^^

I imagine that Ghost is pretty crafty and as we know already from other stories, he is always eager to help. What if reader asks him for help to assemble some piece of IKEA furniture? Something big like a closet or even a kitchen, the stuff you can't really build on your own (or it's much easier with help at least).

I don't know how much experience you have with this stuff, but oh my god... The amount of time I already spend during my life sorting these bags of screws, losing my marbles over the instructions, getting into arguments with my partner because I wasn't holding something properly for his liking, the giant pieces of cardboard packaging I had to fold and cram into the dumpster... And then ordering pizza afterwards and being proud of what we did and admiring this stupid new dresser we got like it's some piece of art. Oh memories... :)

Indeed, he’s eager to help, but if you’re the stubborn I-need-help-but-let-me-try-by-myself-first type, I feel he would just sit there and watch you make a mess. You probably didn’t revisit the instructions either, did you? What’s that? You read them once, and that’s enough? Tsk tsk tsk.

Well, he holds the manual, just in case. And he reads it, and it takes so much effort from him not to snatch that L tool thingy they give you with the unassembled furniture and start doing it himself. You called him for the heavy stuff anyway, so he should probably wait until you ask for help.

But you don’t, and, as expected, you start projecting your anger towards him.

“You’re not helping.”

“What do you want me to do?” he asks. “Just say it.”

You look at the instructions in his hand. “What does it say?” you mumble and nod at the booklet.

“It says that you’re doing it wrong,” he replies.

You give him that look that you’re about to lash out at any minute, and he changes tactics without being fazed at all by your attitude. He just wants the job done and you to be happy. And pizza afterwards, of course.

He starts walking around your mess, pointing at pieces of furniture and screws, instructing you while reading the booklet.

“Take this,” he orders while holding a piece of wood and stabilising it with his knee, “Put the screw in here.” and points at the hole.

You do as you’re told. The fact that you’re now seeing progress is enough to shut you up.

After you finish your project, you feel triumphant and need some pizza. He’s hungry, too, but something still bothers him. He doesn’t show it and asks if you can order while he cleans up the cardboard boxes you used to lay the pieces onto.

You go to the other room and call your local pizzeria. He, in return, takes the tools and secretly goes through every screw you’ve placed, tightening them so that it doesn’t fall on you.

Drago Kitano and Craftycorn: Funny how a lesbian like Craftycorn can find attractiveness in the charm and calmness of Drago right? Likely from their shared love of culture. At first Drago understood Crafty's attraction and respectfully began to leave..until Crafty, having some thought caught up with him, asking if they could hang out later. Long story short they officially started a relationship after that, having nice quiet moments enjoying eachothers company.

Mama Mammoth and Bubba Bubbaphant: Crossing paths not long after the rescue mission, Bubba and Mama socialized together nicely, Mama enjoyed Bubba's politeness, and Bubba on the other hand found Mama not just pretty but a strong and independent lady. Bubba and Mama had their first moment together at a gala event, Bubba became the Naveen to Mama's Tiana. Since then they act like a married power couple, and they aren't even married!

Prettybird and Kickin Chicken: Instantly liking eachother back at the rescue mission, they hooked up shortly after. Kickin was already down bad for Prettybird, he once told Poppy that he thinks Prettybird is one word: Hot. Prettybird to found Kickin attractive and immediately started dating him, much to Dogbite's dismay. Kickin once commented that Prettybird doesn't need makeup to be "A Prettybird." To which she laughed and replied "I know, you make me feel pretty."

Berserkerine and Bobby Bearhug: Shocker right? The most loveable, sweet and happy bear in the universe being with the most headstrong and violent member of Dogbite's team. But it happened, and they hit it off, usually it's Bobby being very insisting with him. Luckily for her Berserk deep down, really likes her. Especially when he punched out the creep to save her. Bobby knows Berserk is pretty extreme in places, but she loves him to the MOON and BACK.
