Dont let your insurance payment fall through.

The first time i let my insurance slip through my fingers, i end up with a sinus infection/pressure still affecting me daily 2 months later. Swollen lymph nodes that may or may not be cancerous lymphoma (yay!) and all of this is stressing me out to the point where i feel like im getting TMJ and crying doesnt help, ill probably hop straight into a mental breakdown.

Ive been pending with Kaiser insurance for over 3 weeks now, so I’m just trying to fight back the negativity in my head until i get approved. Nothing has changed in terms of getting better, in fact its the same or slightly worse.

Incredibly stressed and yeah, thats it.

Cheap health insurance is better than nothing. I keep getting my hopes cuz i get an email from either Kaiser or CoveredCA about once a week, so i hold out, then nothing happens (still not approved) then hold out another week.

Im about 80% sure it isnt cancerous but each week goes by and i drop 10% in confidence because it has in fact not gotten better im the tiniest bit.

What slightly scares me is my coworker who worked in the same industry and position as me died of cancer a few years back, i believe its from the workplace. Chemicals, melted plastics, breathing it and soaking it into our skin for over a decade could be catching up to me.

We will see. I’ll update yall later but damn, I’m tired.

Because I’ve lost my medical insurance—but am in the process of trying to get it back—I am having to pay full price for my meds, some of which cost $400-900 each. Obviously I have no way to pay for that, so I’ve started a GoFundMe and posted it at FB.

Since it has my real name on it, I don’t want to post it here, but I *have* enabled tipping, in case any of y’all wanna help out. While my GoFundMe goal is $2500 (which includes paying the ludicrously expensive insurance someone at CoveredCA switched me to without my knowledge), my immediate goal is coming up with $483.56 to cover my Savella, because I’m going to run out of it in a few days. I don’t like to imagine how my functioning is going to be affected without my primary antidepressant. And yes, btw, that’s the GoodRx price.

i love that i went to [redacted health provider’s] urgent care & was told to follow up with a primary care doctor in a week, then when i went to schedule an appointment with a pcp from [redacted health provider] they were like “sure! how does the end of next month sound?”

FUCK this fucking insurance bullshit. FUCKING FUCK. was on hold for 40 minutes at 8 am someone finally answered gave me with NO fucking answers. told me to call the person in charge of my case instead and then to call kaiser about why i was auto-enrolled. i hang up and then check what the number for the person in charge of my case is----the fucking number listed is the number i had just been in hold with for 40 FUCKING MINUTES and nowhere online offers a different number it was literally just the fucking customer service number. i call kaiser and now i’m not only told my premium is going to be about 300 dollars a month but that i apparently owe over one thousand dollars even though i have not missed a single payment and now i’m on hold AGAIN with kaiser because they’re trying to figure out what the fuck is going on bc they were also bewildered
