Mikey, who’s been working there for about a week, stares at the 300 dollar tip for a straight 30 minutes, wondering who Jason is.

From then on, the flock multiplies.

But speaking of Tolkien's discarded ideas, the one where Celegorm and Curufin are friends with Finarfin's (then Finrod's) sons and smuggle them on the swan ships is wild.

Fëanor and his folk seized all the ships and sailed east across the sea, and they took none of the other companies save Orodreth, Angrod, and Egnor (Aegnor), whom Celegorm and Curufin loved.

First of all, I love how it sounds - whom Celegorm and Curufin loved - very touching and humanizing.

Imagine being Fingon, though, the same Fingon who's close in friendship with Angrod and Aegnor and Maedhros (or used to be at least). Imagine waking up and realizing that your closest friends have abandoned you without a word. Imagine realizing or finding out that Maedhros's asshole brothers loved their friends enough to take them with them, but neither Maedhros nor Angrod and Aegnor bothered with you.

I've been slowly tweaking these designs for a couple of weeks now, and now I can finally introduce the Uncles, the colorful group of friends/roommates who raised Hed and Les (word "raised" used loosely, but they definitely shared the living space with them).

From left to right: Kymani, Bramble, Adewale, Benji, Jenga, and Licorice "Ish" with his boys. Let's say Hed and Les are 15 and 19 here, maybe a year older, which means the rest are only in their mid 30s.

"Cousin" Tim Pines (now paradoxical Son of Ford because I say so)

After being born into a universe where Ford got accepted into His dream College and later Had a son, Tim soon takes after his fathers wish to study the supernatural. One day the 20 year old comes across travelers from another universe, quickly leaving through some Kind of Portal.

He follows them but right as he's about turn back, he sees his entire reality start to collapse infromt of him. So in a moments descision Tim also jumps into the portal, stranding him in the multiverse.

Tim spends 10 years in the multiverse, at one point starting to search for his father that he saw on wanted posters around the universes. He doesn't have much luck on his mission though, Sometimes being too late, some other times being too early and sometimes Just barely missing him. All until he finally witnesses what seems to be His father in some sort of battle in the nightmare realm. Although just before Tim manages to reach him, another portal opens up, pulling both of them inside.

Both Ford and Tim come out in a version of the OG Gravity falls universe. After some altercations between the two, Tim quickly realizes that this isn't actually his father but instead a version of his father from a Universe he never existed in.
