Being a vampire and best friends with Leah Clearwater would look like:

As you can imagine, you two were natural enemies in the beginning. A shifter and a vampire? Who are best friends? Yeah like that could work. 

But surprisingly, the two of you had more in common. You enjoyed movies, music, books, crafts, and traveling. You talked shit about the men around you. Judged the humans when they made stupid decisions--to which Leah would scold you for threatening to drain them of their blood. 

The friendship was a slow progression. And considering you were forbidden onto the Rez and Leah despised being near the Cullens, you two hung out in Forks or traveled to nearby ones. Then on special occasions (birthdays, holidays) your super speed was an advantage to get to Canada, Seattle, or cross state lines for the day. 

At functions where the Cullens and Wolf Pack are together, you two take to a corner to talk shit and judge everyone--completely unbothered by the fact they can all hear you. "Did you hear the latest scandal at the high school? It's rather juicy." "You mean the history teacher and guidance counselor? Yeah I overheard some seniors talking about it at the diner." 

You're Sam's biggest hater and always lets him know it. 

Seth is the one member of the pack; besides Leah, you would do anything for. He's like a surrogate little brother and after many years of friendship with Leah, he looks to you as an older sibling. 

Esme and Carlisle are very welcoming to Leah, and it takes a bit before Leah willingly comes to the Cullen house. Rosalie and Jasper keep their distance, but Alice tries to give fashion advice and join y'all when you go shopping.

You guys exchange books, buy gifts related to the other's interests. Leah teaches you social media, and you tell stories of your past. 

Leah sends you memes of vampire related media to piss you off. In retaliation, you gave her a plastic dog bone as a gag gift. 

You'll have human snacks and beverages in your room for when she comes over and pack them when you go on weekend vacations to get away from your families. 

Leah scouts the animal population and keeps updated of the hunting season. 

When you graduate high school for the dozenth time and Leah goes off to college you two get an apartment together. Preferable closer to wooded area and not downtown in the city. Y'alls aesthetics are completely opposite so when Leah brings classmates over to work on projects (with warning of course) they often make comments like, "Wow, this wasn't exactly what I expected."

Once a week, you'll drain the blood of an animal into a wine bottle so you guys can chill in the living room where Leah has a glass of wine and you have a glass of blood. She'll rant about her classmates and professors, and you'll share opinions on current world topics.

Mainly dusk, but pretty much imagine him in browns, oranges , dusky yellows and reds and the like.

Michael - Twilight

Starts after the fall of Dusk,short lived. Haralds the start of darkness and but also first light when it falls. The darkess time in which the sun is out. I see him muted/ dark blues,dull browns and blacks. Maybe a touch of greyish pale yellows.

Will - Daylight

Longest lived, bright, it's what most people think about when they think of the sun. With his golden sun kissed hair and sky blue eyes its pretty on the nose. I see him in bright/light yellows and blues.

I'm not sure why I'm writing this.

It's not why anyone is here, not why anyone follows me or this page. It's not even the reason I created this godforsaken tumblr to begin with (that honor goes to Dylan O'Brien and Teen Wolf). But I felt like I needed to say something, and I didn't know where else to say it.

One of my good friends that I've known since high school passed away two weeks ago. Not from any sort of underlying health issue, or a sudden, unfortunate accident. But because she was struggling so hard with postpartum depression, and decided that it would be less painful if she went to sleep and didn't wake up.

We didn't know she was struggling, I didn't know she was struggling. She had reached out to me only two weeks prior, telling me that she missed me and we lived too close to each other to never see each other, and proposed a Twilight movie marathon (which I had gladly accepted). She was going to message me dates, we made plans for lunch, and she ended it by saying "yay!! can't wait!".

And then, before I realized, it was too late to say anything else.

Being a mother is hard. Being a mother to two young kids, both under two, while trying to build your career, be successful, and be a good wife is even harder.

But it gets easier. I promise it does.

I have a lot of regrets and a lot of guilt. I have a lot of things I wish I could say to her one more time -- and then I feel guilty for thinking that my words could ever be that important, that they would even matter on that kind of scale.

I know that depression lies. It is a liar. It's nefarious; its call, soft, sleepy and welcoming, comforting almost. It feels easy to lay in its embrace, to let yourself be swallowed by the darkness, let the echo chamber of your worst thoughts sing you a haunting lullaby until it feels like nothing matters. Until you rather just not exist.

But that lullaby is a poison, filled with deception and misdirection. It's intentionally vague, dragging out its notes so that it seemingly doesn't ever end. What it doesn't include is how beautiful the background music can be, when you finally are able to stop and breathe enough to hear it. How relaxing it can be to sing along to the melody, when you are clear-headed and no longer sleep deprived to learn the lyrics. How much fun it is to let go and dance along to the music, when you're able to recharge and take time for yourself.

Those things all come with time. I promise they do. It does get easier. Not always right away, not always all at once, but soon you'll find each breath you take is a little deeper, each step you take a little bit lighter.

If you're reading this, and you have found yourself struggling with similar dark thoughts - please, please, reach out to someone. A trusted friend, a teacher, a neighbor, your physician, a counselor. SOMEONE. Please ask for help, and please utilize the resources available. There is no shame for asking for help, especially in today's climate of fuckery -- it's hard out there for everyone.

But please, please stay. I want you to stay. I promise you there are people out there who also want you to stay, but even if you don't believe that, believe that I don't want to be in a world where you don't exist.

One of the last messages my friend sent to me during our final conversation was about how she was going to send me dates ASAP, because "we're gonna commit to this because that's what I'm doing this year! Committing to happy things!"

I think about those words a lot. I think about what she was feeling in those moments when messaging me, and what she was feeling only two weeks later, when she felt so painfully alone. If I think about it too much, it consumes me and shatters my heart.

So instead, I try to remember that message - it wasn't the last thing she texted me, but it does feel like her final message all the same. To commit to happy things this year. To try and do things that unabashedly bring me joy, because I deserve to.

My wish for you all is to commit to more happy things, this year and every year. To dare to feel joy, to seek out things solely because you want to, and not because of any perceived outcome. And to tell your loved ones how important they are to you, and how much you love them. It's all over far too soon, and the points don't matter, anyway. 💜

Batquinn fic ideas:

Batquinn sailor moon au where it's slightly based around on the plot of sailor moon and Bruce and Harley being reincarnated lovers that where royalty of the earth and moon. Bruce is still batman and Harley is still Harley Quinn.

It ends with us au where Bruce and Harley where childhood friends. Bruce is homeless/ a runaway after his parents died. The courts wouldn't let Alfred adopt him so he had to stay with some very bad an abusive relatives who only want him for his family money and name. He runs away and lives on the streets for awhile. Eventually staying in abandoned house near Harley's childhood home. Harley starts to notice Bruce and starts bringing him food, letting him use her shower and becoming his friend. Flash forward to the present Bruce and Harley meet up again as adults while Harley is in an abuse relationship with the joker. It can be a very modern au without capes or can have capes.

College friends au Harley and Bruce. Where they friends in college and maybe develop a relationship. Harley is studying criminal psychology and Bruce is studying to be a doctor/surgeon. They fall in love. But Bruce has to make a hard decision on whether he wants a life with Harley or still try to become batman.

Harley Quinn is one of the batkids guidance councilors and that's how Bruce and Harley meet.

Bruce/and or Batman visits Harley Quinn in jail to get information on the Joker. Harley is only helpful if Bruce keeps visiting her. He does.

batquinn au where Harley gets Jason out of the warehouse in Ethiopia. She was there with the joker and decided this was going to far. She could only(and really wanted) to save Jason not his mother. Bruce finds a brused but ok Harley holding a badly hurt but still alive Jason in her arms with the warehouse burning up behind them.

batquinn twilight au but make it so Bruce is Carslie with all his twilight vampire Batkids but not married and Harley is the batkids Guidance counselor. She totally notices right away something is weird about them.

Everything the same in canon except Bruce and Harley are friends from college. Bruce is still Batman. They start to develop tension between when Harley gets a case at Arkham Asylum for the joker. Bruce starts noticing the signs that his friend and crush is changing and fears another Harvey Dent situation is happening so tries to get Harley help before it gets really bad.

Under the red hood au except Bruce and Harley are in an establish relationship. I just want batquinn and Jason batfamily shenanigans can you tell?

Batquinn au where Harley is a Marilyn Monroe level movie star in (1940s - 50s glamed style gotham) gotham. And Bruce is batman.

max tolerates his weirdo girls but lowkey loves them so fuccin much

before i get the stupid comments this takes place in the future, so max and nikki are around 30 here (aka adults). aaanyways, makki fam notes plus my oc's turn around sheet under the cut :)

due to his past trauma with shitty parents, Max doesn't say "I love you" very often. rather, he shows his love via gift giving and actions (ie: making Nikki her favorite coffee in the morning, buying Bella her favorite snacks, etc.)

piggybacking off that last bullet point, Max has told Nikki he loves her when she's asleep (or when he thinks she's asleep, at least).

Bella, their daughter, is noticeably calmer than her parents, but undoubtedly gets her chaotic streak from them both. She's incredibly skilled at charming people then subsequently stealing their wallets from right under their noses. max is eternally proud (and often finds a few 20s missing from his own pockets)

max and Nikki currently work alongside David at the camp as counselors. the new generation of campers are just as chaotic as they were and have long since accepted that maybe this is their karma for putting David and Gwen through hell 20 years ago

both Nikki and Bella are strange sleepers, always managing to end up either upside down, kicking pillows, or spread out taking up the whole bed

max is still sarcastic, jaded, and snarky, but he smiles a bit more now. granted, its more of like a ghost of a smirk, but its a smile nonetheless

Nikki originally wanted to name Bella something wolf-related, like howler or chomper. max, not wanting his kid to get bullied or resent them, suggested "Isabella/Bella", in reference to "those shitty Twilight movies from the 2000's", in his words, to which she agreed. Nikki still calls Bella "pup" or "cub" as nicknames.

the family owns a wolf dog named Koda, who they take to the camp during the summers. Max was the one to pick her out and name her, and he's undoubtedly her favorite person

all of the embroidery was done by him, although they aren't very fond of the uniform because the fabric is scratchy (undershirts are a must). can be commonly seen out of uniform, even during the camp classes. always wears his id though.

despite being the newest counselor, he made quick friends with the others even though they weren't ever an actual camper. he applied 2 years ago for the position when it was offered (time thought another link was Hilarious).

as said before, he and four have a theory about time and his funding for the camp, this consists of many internet searches and late-night ramblings in the counselor's cabin. they're frequently told off by an exasperated twilight, but a majority of the chain enjoy hearing any new findings about the owner of the camp.

fluent in ASL (or HSL [hylian/hyrulian sign language], which is the equivalent for such in-universe because i am learning and can actually put it to use). a majority of the counselors are at speaking-level in such, barring wind who is very early on in learning.

the ids are made of paper and stuck in a laminated sheet and then stuck on a lanyard. it isn't pictured in his reference sheet, but wild has a teal colored lanyard (very similar to the teal/blue on their bag + shorts).

A/n: writers block has been hitting hard recently so I hope this is okay!

You and Larissa started dating after your first year at Nevermore, you being the new counselor at the school you grew on the students and staffs hearts rather quickly, you allowed everyone to feel understood, like they weren’t alone, that’s certainly needed in a school of outcasts, and even more the schools principal, you two bonded quickly, making you physically and emotionally inseparable, she could feel you and you could feel her, no matter how far apart you were.

Now it’s been 3 years since you swooned the principals heart, you and Larissa decided to room together not long ago, which you both quickly agreed you should’ve done sooner. You’d never really spoken much about your family or your relationships with them, all Larissa knew was that it wasn’t great, she didn’t really know the extent of it, not until today.

Once a month Larissa would give a random extra free day, students and staff alike could use it to go into town, catch up on work, or just rest, which is what you and Larissa chose for today. It had been peaceful until now, you decided a lazy day would be best, just the two of you in bed, order take out when you wanted to eat and do relatively nothing, which felt weird for the workaholic that Larissa is.

You were curled up on the couch, your back against her chest, going through a rewatch of all your favorite movies when there was a knock on the door. Apparently one of you forgot to lock if because after the third knock you decided to ignore the door swung open to reveal, your mother? What the hell was she doing here? Larissa spoke up while you just sat frozen. “These are private quarters. It’s rather impolite to burst in, unless there’s an emergency?��

Your mother looked at both of you, analyzing what she was seeing, then turned to Larissa seething. “The emergency is that my daughter has completely fallen off the face of the earth after arriving here, and now I come visit and she’s laying with some girl?” You finally stood and spoke up, no way she was going to speak to Larissa that way, much less in your own room.

“I tried calling, all you ever did was yell and complain, I’m grown and tired, mother, and very much independent why do you care where I am? She is not ‘some girl’ she’s a woman, a very responsible, strong and respected woman, and if you’re going to show respect and basic fucking human decency.” Larissa could feel your dread at the situation how angry you were for her to just show up and start another fight, but also your pride in how you spoke about her, it made her heart swell as she stood beside you.

“Since when do you even like girls, what the hell is this. I didn’t raise you to be like this, where you simply never going to tell me?” Her face twisted in disgust and disappointment as she spoke to you. Larissa swears she’s never felt your emotions drop so fast. It was all anger for one second and the next absolutely nothing. She tilted her head at you, hand coming to rest on your back.

“I want you to get the hell out of my home, now.” You said, completely void of any emotion. Larissa agreed. “I’d love to call security to escort you out but I feel as though we can avoid that, please make your way out, somebody will be waiting for you at the front.”

As your mother walked away grumbling to save herself the embarrassment of being dragged away٫ Larissa closed the door, making sure to lock it before walking back to you, who was already silently curled up on the couch again. Larissa chose to keep quiet, shifting you so she could lay behind you like your were before.

“…I can’t let her see me like how I feel, I feel like screaming and sobbing, maybe punching her across the face in all honesty-“ Larissa quietly chuckled at that before letting you continue. “But I can’t- I can’t let her know she got to me, she can’t know her efforts were successful. I would rather die- than let her win.” The act fell and you broke down everything you couldn’t allow your mother to see, Larissa saw it all and she held you through it٫ soothing hands playing with your hair, allowing you to speak.

“My whole life she’s never had a single good thing to say, would directly go against anything I wanted, I had a total lack of support- I couldn’t let her go against who I love too, so I kept it shut.” She wrapped her arms lovingly around you, resting her chin on your shoulder. “Is this why you never talked about her?” You nodded. “She’s ruined everything else for me, you, this school, are the only things she hadn’t gotten to yet-“ Larissa held your jaw making you look at her. “My love, nothing and nobody can take away my love for you, she can’t ruin us.”

“She won’t be coming back, I’ll ban her from the school, security won’t let her through.” She kissed your cheek before continuing. “Nevermore is our home, you don’t need to hide here, not your identity, or your emotions, you are loved and celebrated by all of us. And she can’t take that away.”

Constellations, the equivalent of Royal courts, are ruled by an Eclipse or a Solaris. Celestials see being a part in Constellation as a honor and a privilege. In large Constellations, as many thousands of Celestials constituted the Constellation. These Constellations members usually include an Eclipse’s or a Solaris’s family, guards, Archivists, Curator, Overseer, Assessor, Head Cataloger, Head Biologist, Chronicler, Minders, performers, etc.

Lunaris’s role is to observe, collect and preserve life forms from planets to archive them.

However, If they encounter resistance during their collecting, they have a known policy to, "clean the planet and scorch the air".

Artemis, Hilda, and Warriors are all friends, and head counselors of their cabins. These three aren't as obvious as the Trouble Troupe but they also like to cause a little chaos. (Ravio calls them Trouble Troupe 2.0)

Ravio is on good terms with most of the people at camp, but not to outgoing.

Dot and Four are close friends who LOVE to build things! The explosion rate is down to 40% (Flora eventually joins them, and the explosion rate fluctuates if Wild is there)

Legend is a snippy jerk but he's genuinely close with both Fable and Wild.

Legend and Flora both have hoarding tendencies and probably compare magic items

Fable and Wild have a pact to keep Legend and Flora from drowning in their collections

Time and Malon keep almost adopting Twilight's friends.

Tetra and Wind LOVE hanging out with Legend, they all adore shiny things and snark

Wild and Legend quickly let Wind into their little sort brothers dynamic. Start calling him pipsqueak

Hi Cas! 🥰 Ooh I love this question! I tried to stick with games I’m familiar with but there's a couple I've never played myself. That being said I'd be interested to hear what other's think in case I missed anything 👀

Abi - Animal Crossing, she enjoys more cozy games and it would bring out her artistic side, creating her own clothes and decorating her house/town/island. She doesn’t do anything extravagant but she plays a fair amount, she enjoys bug catching and visiting her favorite neighbors with gifts.

Dylan - The Legend of Zelda, nice mix of puzzles, action, and music depending on the game. He gets really into the new mechanics in BOTW and TOTK, going from creating really intricate mechanics to designing dick shaped machines. Perhaps projecting but I’d say he’d have a soft spot for Twilight Princess (you can hold and talk to cats!)

Kaitlyn - Splatoon, the shooter of the Nintendo franchises. She meticulously goes through all the weapons in order to pick the best one depending on specials and sub weapons (she strikes me as a sniper). She also loves the idols and music and designing her squid with all the fresh fashion choices. She definitely makes it to ruler rank whenever she participates in Splatfests (and claims bullshit if her team loses). 

Ryan - Pokemon, perhaps inspired by Justice being in Detective Pikachu, but as an aspiring animator he’d be interested in all the different Pokemon designs. When Ryan builds his team he gets really attached to them. He’d never attempt a nuzlocke, he’s sticking with his whole team til the end. He of course loves the ghost types, but I think he’d also have something like Loudred or Golbat, something audio/sound related. He definitely plays a lot with Sarah.

Emma - Metroid, Emma is resourceful, working well under pressure and able to adapt to situations quickly, so when she takes the controller for Metroid she effortlessly switches from platforming to shooting, completely tearing the alien enemies to shreds. She loves Samus and probably got into the series for the leading lady. One of her favorite elements is the morph ball, but the arm canon might have it beat.

Jacob - WarioWare, while a more competitive game may seem like Jacob’s first choice I think if he had to choose a favorite he’d prefer the quick micro games that WarioWare has to offer. It’s fun, fast, no time to think just DO. He also really enjoys the zany humor and eccentric characters. It’s also a plus to play with others and can somehow still turn competitive, especially when playing with Nick. 

Nick - Pikmin, Nick likes to go with the flow so he'd like something less fast paced but still something with some strategy. I think he'd find assigning Pikmin with their different abilities to various tasks satisfying. Since he also loves nature he'd enjoy the exploration element, as well. And really he just thinks the Pikmin are cute.

Laura - Animal Crossing, since she’s interested in veterinary science she’d probably enjoy the animal characters, Max most likely introduces her to the game for that reason. However, unlike Abi she plays it more seriously. She has to complete every task, pop every balloon, and fill the entire museum with every collectible. She has to stop playing when it cuts time into her personal productivity. She has a 5 star island.

Max - Yoshi, Max is definitely not a competitive player, he plays games that are more chill. He enjoys the straightforward mechanics of swallow enemies, throw eggs/yarn, with nothing too punishable or frustrating like with other tenser games. The vibrant, colorful world definitely doesn’t hurt with all the cute smiling flowers, shy guys on stilts, and most importantly: Poochy.

All the counselors love Mario Party and Mario Kart, some less so than others as the game progresses and they continue to lose (Jacob).
