Headcannon, he can see lil Time, who died, watch over Legend and Hyrule

Headcannon, he can see Fierce Deity float around Time, Wars, and the others

(ie poking Wars in the ribs and muttering about his eating habits, trying to push Time back to his bedroll, attempting to tuck Wild in, fretting over whenever Twilight gets injured, sitting by a homesick Sky, curled up around Legde and Rulie w/ lil dead Time's ghost, making funny faces at Wind once discovering he can actually see him)

Headcannon that whenever it seems Four's eyes look purple-ish, he sees Shadow flicker over him with a very fond look in his eyes

Headcannon that Wind can see the first one flash to life above them full of fury when one gets badly injured or angry, he's the most corporal, so much so that Wind thought he was alive the first time, he particularly likes Sky

There are few times you were separated from the chain anymore. As the trip progressed and their mental states began to spiral, you began to notice more and more how much they’d begun to infringe on your time. There was always one of them there, vying, hoping, tripping over themselves if they could just be of use to you. It was because of that you couldn’t leave. There were always eyes on you and a hand lingering somewhere on your skin.

A loving quirk, you may call it.

And you’d be willing to dismiss it if it were simply a matter of chance— there are plenty of them and one of you, it seems perfectly reasonable there’d be someone near you at all times… right?

The time you’d returned from bathing without telling them only to find Wind backed into a tree explaining he didn’t mean to lose sight of you says that thought is wrong. Time hardly ever yelled. Never at you and never again in your presence, but you’re reminded thinking back to that just how dangerous these boys are beneath their sweet smiles and reverent gaze.

And you may think that they simply wish to protect you. The woods are dangerous, afterall. The woods crawl with creatures that intend to bite. To take you and harm you.

Wind spent the rest of that night crying and huddled into you. He had not much more than a sliced lip, but he certainly was shaken. The others didn’t do much to hide their glares, after all they were justified.

Weren’t they?

They just wanted to keep you safe.

It’s exactly those prior events that made this specific circumstance so… unsettling.

You were alone.

The woods were quiet.

There were no monsters.

Your legs were shaky and weak beneath you as your hands pulled you up. The bark on the tree you’d used for support was wet and the earth smelled of fresh rain. The back of your clothes stuck to your skin, the cold seeping in.

Slowly, the world began to move at a pace that made sense. You didn’t realise until a gust of wind had shook the gnarled trees that the air was stagnant and dead.

Nor did you realise the sound of a hiccuping child, crying over the buzz of cicadas.

Internally, you struggled. This is the exact kind of fae trap you’d expect waking up in Hylia knows where, it’d be dumb to go blindly walking into that.

But the worst that could happen is you move from one cage to another, so your get began to tread across the muddy ground.

You certainly weren’t expecting what you got.

A boy. A link. Curled up at the base of a tree, crying. The sight was rather painful to bear, his fragile shoulders shuddering as he tried to choke everything back. his face his scrunched up, and he bares a snarl that is missing a few teeth when you kneel to help.

“Hello Li…” You trail off, quite unsure how he’d react to seeing you know his name when he was already quite unhappy at being interrupted.

“Hello, little one” You settle on that, pulling the sleeve of your shirt up and over your thumb to wipe the tears and snot off his face. He’s backed into the tree as far as his legs can manage to push him. You pause to gather exactly who you’re looking at, and if there’s anything to guess by the bright green tunic, ocarina and collection of masks, this is the young time you’d originally thought him to be.

“Are you alright? What happened” You try your hardest to soothe him, but it’s clear the distrust has already been so deeply woven within him. He just shakes his head and shoves you away.

So, without much else to do, you set up camp.

You talk aimlessly as you work, noticing that despite his stubborn silence, the young Link (Mask, as you decide to call him) was awfully perceptive. You hope, somewhere in his little mind, he can gather through your subpar attempts at starting a fire and your light-hearted ramblings that you’re not a threat. That the food you made was not poison and you were someone he could rely on.

You saw what the world had done to those boys.

Maybe you could help this one meet with a better fate.

It’s hours into the night before he’s cheered up. He chews happily on some chicken skewers you made, the world easing its grip on him. He recounts his own tales about Epona and Navi, ones Time wouldn’t usually be vulnerable enough to share. And even then he never spoke with such the same spark. This little boy in front of you, beaten down as he was, had so much life in him.

You would not let anyone take it from him.

Not Hylia, not the people, not whatever evil incarnate found him, not even the world.

He does nod off in time. It’s far later than you’d expect his little body to endure, but he falls asleep slumped against you. It seems with just the notion of safety, he gave out.

He’s just hardly light enough to carry, so you were able to unpack his bedroll and drape whatever fabric you could find to make a blanket.

The world goes sickeningly still again. The wind stopped and it felt as though the forest died. A voice, too loud and too encompassing cuts through the dead air. It’s multiplied and shifting, as though it can’t tell how it wishes to portray itself. It’s thousands of people.

But also just one.

“Hello, Little one” It mimicked your tone in every manner from soothing to mocking. You reach slowly to your side to grab your dagger.

“You needn’t be frightened. I have no need in harming you” The voice comes from in front of you instead of behind you. Your breath is stagnant in your lungs the moment you think you’re caught— that Time had found you.

No. He had not.

But the deity had.

He stands, impossibly tall and almost incomprehensibly grand. He has no pupils in the vast whiteness of his eyes, but you know he’s looking at you. You know because something in you freezes up. He sets down his sword with a thump, the intertwined metal heavy and ebbing a sense of power equal to the man who wields it. You purse your lips to start saying— something, but he holds up a single hand in dismissal.

“I know who you are. I know why you’re here” He kneels across from you, the fire licking each contour of his bold features. He’s comparable to many of the great roman or grecian statues, striking and yet too perfect to be human. The warm light casts his skin in a warm highlight to almost convince you that his body, his vessel holds warmth, but it’s the cold moonlight and the shadows that creep around his edges that remind you who it is you’re speaking with.

“You truly must forgive my… abrupt course of action. The others left me without much time.” He quiets his voice, eventually managing to mimic something close enough to human. It’s uncanny, but ignorable.

“So… you know about-“ You choke on the thought, “the others?” It is quite odd that despite this being some split into the past he knows not just of you, but he knows you— your situation.

“The hero never truly ridded of me, you know.” His lips curl halfway between a snarl and a smile, “I was always there. Watching. Observing. Learning.” As he speaks, his words feel as if they curl around you, cinching in.

“If I hadn’t taken you when I did, it might’ve been fair to say you would’ve been stuck.” Each syllable is sharp. Concise.

“What do you-“

“I’m sorry if you’re not feeling well. Time travel truly isn’t something the mortal body is accustomed to. Especially into such an obscure timeline. But I had to be sure I kept you safe. Hidden.”

One cage for another.

“There are no monsters in these woods anymore, my flower. Don’t worry. I ensured it” He whispers, that menacing grin branding into your mind.

But there was a monster in these woods.

Because not always are they agents of evil and incapable of causing anything but harm.

Sometimes they bare their teeth in grins. They take you and harm you. They hide their worst intentions behind sweetened tones and good intentions while they hold a knife to another.

Why are we even making fierce deity special when legend exists

Four can shoot beams in four swords adventures

Sky has his beam fancy and called a skyward strike

And in triforce heroes legend has a legit cosplay that guess what …can shoot beams

We don’t need to make the fierce deity feel special because it really really isn’t lol

The windfish can create a whole island on a whim and we know that marin at the very least exists so that cannot just be a dream

Because she is chilling in hyrule warriors very much real looking in my opinion

Fierce deity can’t do that from what I saw of it

Fierce deity just a rat in comparison

Honestly would be hilarious if time was worried about the deity until he realized that the deity is his least worrying problem next to legend

Just saying the den of trials is not the hardest dungeon he had to deal with

Legend might actually be a deity

Like death is no problem because you die in cadence of Hyrule for upgrades and with barely any consequences… like at all

He can shoot beams (which seems to be all you need to be a deity nowadays)

Eats ganon for lunch every other week (or adventure)

Has the fierce deity outfit from an actual trial in hytopia

Interacted with …the windfish and has the ability to wake a god,… and build dungeons in its dream

Saved din and Nayru in the oracle games (farore was there as an easter egg)

Fought onox a non ganondorf evil demon thingy with god like powers who tried to control the concept of time by possessing Nayru, and tried to light the flame of destruction to annihilate the whole world

He could control time and space

Change the seasons on a whim

See the future and met the fates of past, and future in cadence of Hyrule (past let’s you come back to life , future tells you where you have to go )

He has like the golden three

The Windfish

And the fates as friends (or acquaintances but then again the windfish likes him canonically for waking him… the fates kinds are actually helpful)

Like honestly legend probably is more of a god for having the golden Doritos every new adventure for breakfast (he probably carries them after cadence of Hyrule or maybe the fates go out their way to revive him anytime he dies … but it’s probably the Doritos

He wishes on the triforce enough to have it on straight up speed dial

Like… probably literally having it on his hand because everyone gave up on building temples for it when they can just give it to the guy who holds it as often as one holds their tooth brush

If we include the royal blood thing as in the mortal with the blood of the goddess

And him and fable being siblings

Then he should be named legendary hylia and nothing else will be tolerated

Like dude is already named legend

And names hold power and significance

Fierce deity probably is his guard dog

Not because hylia's true reincarnation needs help but because it is the legendary hylia's purse dog Anna fun accessory

While time is freaking out that legend could be off legendary status,… honestly I think that was obvious

I feel so bad for hyrule because how the hell can you possibly even TRY to live up to the legacy of a god like being beyond death and capable of ending world destructive threats and has more godly friends then he has mortal ones

It's like ridiculously unfair lol

The chain has a few deities on their group yet sky is not the god in this scenario

Warriors was making fun of a literal god like being , time, sky , etc. probably realize that while he doesn’t lol

And legend probably doesn’t even know that he is as close to a god as one can possibly be

Happy Fan Joy July, Oma!!!

Oma, thank you so so much for making Fan Joy July and sharing it with us! Our fandom, our artists, writers, readers, etc have loved seeing or taking part in this crazy challenge.

This is our gift to thank you- from artists all around who were affected by, or got gifts from, or took part in Fan Joy July. We all love you so much- so we made letters/art for this (Zelda themed!). Many said that they had already wanted to make/write you something, and this gave an opportunity.

One of the things I've loved about this month is how community/interaction centered you made it. The challenge was for yourself to make art each day (you absolute maniac /affectionate)- but then others joined. This July we saw or made art or fics with recommendations. Every day you made art for a writer with a scene from one of their fics, and inspired others to do the same, and writers even wrote every day for an artist based off an art piece they made! This led to a month of gift giving- everyone interacting and getting love for creating.

You truly led to a month of Joy for a lot of loz/lu fans- making the name "Fan Joy July" quite accurate

The art is like patchwork, with all these different styles, both traditional and digital put together. But that's exactly what happened- we all got drawn together, just like the other month-long challenges. It's so cool how art always connects people.

There are letters based off of the colours/theme of each of the Lu boys- it's mainly Zelda and linkeduniverse themed... but we couldn't not have frogs for Oma! I did a frog, his name is Froggy and I'm very proud.

After conferring with an expert again, I've compiled the following list:

Hyrule is a Western Green Hairstreak

Wild is a Long-tailed Skipper

Wind is a Red-spotted Purple

Legend is a Red-bodied Swallowtail

Four is a Western Pygmy Blue (hehe tiny)

Twilight is a Buckeye (one with extra iridescence)

Sky is a Rocky Mountain Parnassian

Warriors is a Blue Morpho

and Time is an Owl (normal) or Peacock (Fierce Deity) butterfly (maybe one wing from each? since the Fierce Deity markings are only on half of his face 🤔)

First off!! We have Cryptid Time and Tash’s Hyrule! Rulie’s very tired and Time’s a dad. He will protect the precious.

And then last but not least!! We have Tash’s Sky meeting my Wild! Cryptid Wild is pretty much undetectable to Sky since he’s physically incapable of making noise and Sky’s blind. So Sky’s about to get jump scared. (With love).

Recently thinking about the Mafia AU and Time at some point (or multiple points) had to don the Fierce Deity mask right?

Is Fierce still wearing his usual armor or is he wearing mafia boss drip?

I can't believe that no one has brought up where Fierce fits in the Mafia AU 😭

Huh. Good question.

I mean I HAVE thought about him in Mafia Au. Just never focused much on it.

In all honesty? Fierce Deity would not care about looking normal.

Why should he? He’s a war god, and if anyone’s bold enough to question his glowing eyes, war paint like markings, or prematurely white hair, well… they won’t do it twice. Fierce doesn’t need to fit in, he demands respect just by existing.

Okay, if Fierce had to dress in Mafia Drip (thanks, Time, for insisting), he’d still keep all his defining features

Like, his markings? They stay. Time has them so it’s not gonna be that new to people. Let the rumors swirl. People can say whatever they want as long as they say it very far away from him.

His eyes? The glow isn’t going anywhere. It’s unsettling, sure, but it makes him even more terrifyingly mysterious. Honestly other than his change of attire, he doesn’t really change much else. And he only wears that out of Time’s constant insistence. But if a battle needs to be dealt with, he’s not gonna put the energy into conjuring up an outfit.

But if he had to put in a suit? Black, perfectly tailored, and somehow manages to look both pristine and like he’s ready to wade into a war zone. The man looks like he stepped out of a dystopian noir dream.

I’d like to say he wears dress shoes…

…I’d like to…

But I won’t..

He’s got combat boots instead of dress shoes. No one’s gonna argue.

And yes, he’s taller than Time. This man is a looming giant, the kind of figure you see in your nightmares but wake up unsure if you want to run from him or run to him. (…he’s hot okay?)

Fierce wouldn’t talk much. When he does, his voice is deep and commanding. Even a casual hello feels like it carries the weight of the world. Enemies don’t even hear him coming, they just feel his presence and know they’re done for. (Though I think a tall guy like him being super silent when moving around is it’s own form of terrifying, ya know?)

Also something I really like to imagine? (And something (y/n) likes) is how he handles kids.

Oh, kids absolutely adore him. His massive frame and glowing eyes might be intimidating at first, but the moment a child runs up to him with a flower or a question, he’s crouching down to their level. He never really speaks but kids will always warm up to him eventually. He probably carries around little candies for them because, yes, even deities can appreciate the pure joy of a child’s laughter.

A really skittish and nervous child could bump into him during a formal gathering and by the time the parents find them, the child is laughing while sitting on the silent deity’s shoulders.

He tolerates the Chain well enough, though he’s definitely the quiet guy in the corner type during group discussions. He gets along with them but isn’t one for small talk, unless it’s with (y/n). Then he’ll hang around longer. (because of course he will.)

His ROLE in Mafia Au? He’s basically a living nuclear deterrent. He’s the weapon of last resort, the one Time calls in when everything else fails. And when Fierce Deity steps onto the battlefield, the fight is already over cause he’s not gonna be merciful.

Reason people still mess with the chain’s mafia is cause any witnesses to Fierce’s power is dead.

He’s also a living rumor mill. People whisper about his origins, speculate about his position, and spread stories of the time they saw him intimidate other mafia bosses into submission with no words said.

Ah, yes. Just to be clear. Fierce Deity is definitely attached to (y/n), how could he not be?

He’s protective in a way that goes beyond mortal comprehension. (Y/n) isn’t just a person to him; she’s the one thing in this world that feels like a reason to allow it to continue to exist.

He doesn’t hover or impose himself, but he’s always there when she needs him. Whether she knows it or not, he’s watching, ensuring her safety.

If she ever calls for him, he’s there in an instant, mask just leaves Time’s side and pops up in her possession.

Fierce doesn’t just glare, he paralyzes. His stare alone is enough to break the will of most enemies. And if he glares? Forget it. The room might as well be an icebox with how cold it gets.

If someone dares harm (y/n), Fierce doesn’t just fight them. he unmakes them. And he does it in a way that ensures that person will never think of trying again.

…not like a they have any brain matter left in their heads to even consider trying again…

Happy Velntines! I have some valentines date headcanons with Fierce, First, Four, Hyrule, Legend, and Sky

Fierce

Fierce is going to set up a sunrise/ sunset date depending on which you prefer

He will take you out during sunrise/ sunset and give you your favorite cookies/pastries. He spent days making them and practicing. (He burnt SO many before he got them right)

Fierce will offer you your favorite warm drink

He will enjoy conversation with you

If you want to, he'll hold you close as ypu watch the colors in the sky.

Probably compares his love for you to the sun

First

This SAP

First would make your favorite meal and have a table set up with candles

Your favorite juice or wine is on standby

Will offer to slow dance

He will happily listen to you talk as long as you like

Will compare his love for you to the sea

Four

Four would probably take you to a glass blowing class or something similar as a date.

Has made you a metal bouquet of flowers and tells you he will love you until they die. (They can't die)

After your class he woukd take you to your favorite restaurant

Would love to try to see the stars too

Hyrule

This man is a sweetheart you gets you your favorite flowers

He takes you on a picnic in a scenic nature area

Makes flower crowns for both of you

Hyrule probably wrote you a poem

Would be happy to hold you that night and talk about a future

Legend

Legend would plan a movie date at home with your favorite food

Bonus points if you like horror movies. He likes the excuse to hold you

Legend gives you a protective enchantment piece of jewlry, of course

Might flick popcorn at you but lovingly

He makes sure to tell you that you're his person and he's happy to have you in his life

Sky

Carved you a little figurine of your favorite animal

Takes you on a picnic date as well, but at night to see the stars

Legend has too many parallels

Like the parallels are very big and even midna and Ravio share them as well because “from a different dimension of perpetual twilight and left link by the end for the greater good”

Even majora's mask and the fierce deity mask are something that Legend acquired (if we consider him triforce heroes link )

The same goes with Sky who has a harp VERY similar to the harp of ages you get in oracle of ages

Legend is an amalgamation of every other link in one way or another

Hyrule = straight up his predecessor and directly connected in the timeline

Sky = the harp of ages and Fi speaks to link (you even can update her the same way… she gold now)

Warriors = Ravio, Marin (he met both) , the knights and him sharing the position, a time guardian that is under the enemies command you befriend (possessed Nayru in oracle of ages)

Time = two time travel adventures (link to the past and oracle of ages), fierce deity, majora's mask , the den of trials (triforce heroes)

Four= four swords palace, the puppets in triforce heroes, if we count Cadence of Hyrule as a legend game then also a villain who has purple hair and ends up getting backstabbed by ganon for no good reason

Wind= sea gulls , whale god who traps link in his dream (phantom hourglass), after the hero of the time , Aryll has a hibiscus blossom on her dress… Marin's favorite flower

Twilight= dark form, complete opposite in the curse part , (wolf vs Rabbit parallels) , a person who helps you on your adventure comes from a realm where there is perpetually twilight…then saves the realm and watches friend leave you for the greater good(Link between worlds)

Wild= Flame themed calamity that a ganondorf wannabe wants to make worse like how onox wanted to ignite the flame of destruction and took control of the seasons (oracle of seasons and age of calamity)
