Hylia is merciful for she would dim her light for her people and her knight
Fanfic prompt : When Link was still young he was told that hylia is a merciful and loving goddess
he used to believe that perhaps if he just kept doing what hylia wanted
If he keeps being her hero perhaps one day she might listen and answer him for still his prayers remain unanswered
Tell him why he was the one who had to save Zelda ?
Why nobody else could do it instead ?
For his uncle tried only for his attempt to bear no fruit
Why was he special?
But he unfortunately got the answer ?
He was special but it felt more like a curse at that time
Years passing yet no answer in sign
Even after he fought ganon and saved two more kingdoms again
But he did so much. ..,
Was it still Not enough for her to bother answering him
Why does hylia let everything happen to him ?
Wasn't he worth of her protection's grace as well ?
Slowly his prayers got tainted from her indifference
He no longer saw her as anything capable of mercy ,… at least for her soldiers and especially herself
She was cruel on herself and herself only
Her soldiers she cherished but herself she loathed all way
Her gentleness only reached her people,… not herself
Never herself
The holy goddess bleeds for her people , she makes bleed for her people herself again and again
Never her expendable self to be cherished by them
Never had herself belonged under her protective glow
She walks the surface … , the blinding sun giving warmth as she burns out herself as she goes forth
Her mercy is sacrifice of her mortal shells
Her light shines bright on her people
As it sears her children and never shines on herself
Her holy blood boils under her mercy
Link learned her way well
He and his sister and all her other mortal shells to be discarded
For her mercy
For her atonement for the sun may loathe her lights but she loves her soldiers as they go on to keep her light aglow
But her lights she despises enough that they may never be enough for her even as they wander on to keep her glow
The beautiful sun would sacrifice herself for her knight as she did the very first time
Even if her light glows in her knight
She will just dim it one day
O for she will lover her knight then again
As she loves her knight but loathes herself more
Her light shines bright forever more
Or
Do you ever wonder …
why the hero of legends had such a long grueling life when the goddess was shown to lover her heroes ?
Why Zelda is almost always sacrificing everything she has so that link may have a chance?
Why Flora prayed and begged her goddess but never got a reply yet Wild did effortlessly ?
Why Hylia hates herself so much ?

Fic Concept: Prince Legend
I know everyone says "write for yourself" but I can fantasize this stuff at work if it's just for me, so I'm throwing it to you guys to gauge interest on if I should actually write it
A Prince Legend fic. He knows he's royal, he doesn't live like it. The rest don't know, but learn, one by one (sort of Feathered AU style) in various scenarios, and adjust accordingly.
Sky accepts that Legend is his descendant
Wild has a minor identity crisis on whether this means that, as a royal knight, he's responsible for the vet's safety
Warriors' training kicks in ad he's suddenly very proper and all that fun stuff
Wind is entirely unaffected because nobles what? (He thinks it's cool but doesn't let it bother him)
Still working out how the rest will respond, as this would be less a personal thing for them, but they all figure it out and none of them realize that the others know, and maybe are trying to either hint it to them (they want Sky to know of course) or stop them finding out (Twilight realizes the knights probably shouldn't find out because of Legend's history with knights).
No clue where it would go, but as it's a dynamic based fic rather than plot-heavy, I feel I could take it on without much of a plan and run with it like I've done with other dynamic-based stories. Let it do what it wants and just have fun seeing where it all goes
I know I've been working on TBoHH, but I sort of miss having a few long fics going at once and updating one every two days or so (there is no buzz!) so I'm throwing this out there.

"Who's there?"
"Me.", says the unhelping voice, and I point the master sword towards where I heard them, but she...burns me?
I accidently drop her as she does, and I silently curse as I quick grab her again, not wanting to be defenseless for any longer than necessary.
"Just saying me doesn't help, dipshit.
Or
Legend was different from the other heroes, but not in just the personality or the fact that he's royalty. No, because of an entirely different reason.
His blindfold.

“Who is represented here?”
Link had always been fascinated by great monuments. In Skyloft, space was limited, so everything had to be small. The only real big decoration was the statue of the goddess, but over time, it had become increasingly difficult to visit. Now that he could explore new places and the Hylian civilization, he found joy in observing statues and other monuments.
This one was particularly beautiful and seemed relatively new, which piqued his curiosity about the stories behind its existence that was probably still not forgotten. The statue depicted a young man, or perhaps a boy, bowing before the figure of a tall woman. She resembled the statue of Hylia he had seen in front of the castle earlier that day. The entire statue was crafted from a dark material, except for the golden Triforce on the forehead of what he assumed was Hylia, and the two purple gems that sparkled in the boy's eyes. The dark obsidian of the statue contrasted beautifully with the white and gold imagery of Hyrule Castle.
“That’s a statue of Link,” Zelda said, looking up at the figure.
“What!? Really?” the sailor exclaimed, glancing between Zelda and the statue.
“Well, yes. Neither Link nor I are particularly fond of this statue, but it tells a part of Hyrule’s story that must never be forgotten. That’s why we decided it should remain here,” she explained, her gaze fixed on the obsidian figure.
“What happened ?” Link asked, still captivated by the boy’s gaze.
“That shouldn’t be my story to tell,” she replied, beginning to look nervous.
The group exchanged glances. They all knew they shouldn’t push for information about their Vet; he was quite secretive and deserved to keep his privacy. However, the statue's presence implied that this story wasn’t entirely hidden. The Vet wasn’t there, and since they met him, Zelda had been their only reliable source of information about him.
Link chose to stay silent, waiting for the sailor to insist further. He could practically see that Zelda was having the same train of thought.
“Well, I suppose it’s not a secret after all,” she sighed. She looked back at the statue, struggling to look away, and began to speak.
“As you know, Link is my biological brother. Long ago, the queens of Hyrule received a blessing ensuring that their children would only be born female, allowing them to continue Hylia’s legacy. Having a boy was considered a curse. When my mother discovered that one of the twins she had just given birth to was a male, she knew she had to hide him from everyone at court, even from my father, the king, to ensure his safety.” She turned around to look at the ceiling clearly avoiding the statue.
“She placed Link under the protection of an old knight who would care for him as his own. He received an education in the arts and music, staying far away from swords and blades. But secrets don’t last forever. Ten years later, I was kidnapped, and I used my power to reach out for help. Knowing I couldn’t rely on the knight, who was under dark influence, I sought anyone bearing the blood of the goddess. Link was the only one to hear my plea. Saving me meant revealing an identity that even we didn’t fully understand.
When my father discovered who Link was, he sentenced him to death, believing my kidnapping was a result of his existence.”
Link heard a series of sharp gasps beside him. He couldn’t believe what he was hearing. Hyrule, the kingdom he was building with the love of his life sentencing a ten-year-old boy to death for simply existing.
“Artists condemned to death are allowed one last act of creation—one last painting, one last song... I needed time to persuade my father to change his mind, so Link and I decided that he would dance. It was the only way to ensure he wouldn’t fall asleep if I took too long. He danced for an entire week in front of the castle, no matter how people treated him. Some threw shards of glass and boiling water at him, but he kept dancing without eating, drinking, or stopping. When I finally managed to make him stop, when my father accepted to let him live, the last thing he did before collapsing was bow before the statue of the goddess Hylia.” She stopped for e few second looking again at the statue.
“This statue is a representation of this moment, of my brother last dance. He never danced again him who loved it so much”
A heavy silence hung over them as they continued to gaze at the statue. So, this was one of the secret his brother had kept. What else remained unsaid among them? What other dark stories were hidden beneath their armors and swords? Link could feel the tingle of Demise lightning as he turned around hearing a shout from outside.
“Are you coming? We don’t have all day, and I’m hungry, so hurry up!” called their Vet.
The sailor was the first to snap out of his reverie, rushing to join the young man outside. The others followed silently, not looking back at the dark figure behind them. Link could almost feel the purple gems watching him as he stepped out.
————————————
I know that it doesn’t really make sense in the cannon of TLOZ but this scene was on my mind so tadam i guess
Same as last time if a made any error tell me i want to improve
And Sky is the narrator here so he is the one that is cold « Link » considering that he is talking about himself. Zelda call Legend Link because it makes sense
Have a great day again and this post is probably gonna be deleted because i dont really like how it turned out

many things about the chronicles of Narnia made me irrevocably insane at the small age of six years old but one of the big ones was the bit in prince Caspian where caspian blows susan's horn to try and summon help and it summons the pevensie kids like. that's crazy ok. that's insane. imagine at 12 years old you're given a horn thats purpose is basically summoning divine intervention & then years later someone blows it and summons YOU . I'm crazy !

Professional competition (quite literally )
Fanfic prompt: Legend and Fable as siblings share the same divine blood
Both quality as the mortal with the blood of the goddess
But like what would happen if during a portal shift Legend ends up in the depths
Would his blood simply scare the entire gloom in there
The chain ends up in the depths and Legend is simply scaring all the gloom because of hylia’s blood
But instead of figuring out that Legend is divine they just come to completely deranged conclusions
Legend repelling the gloom be like
Warriors being himself: "I knew you had a bad attitude, but wow. When even the literal curse of eternal suffering decides to nope out, you’ve got to wonder what that says about you."
Then everyone joined on the annihilation of a something called Legend's confidence in their ability to think
Wind joining in like nobody’s business: “Like Imagine being so toxic, even parasitic horrors are like, 'Nah, I’m good.'”
Time being the sole voice of Reason (not by choice) : “Okay, but seriously. Something’s not right. Curses don’t just avoid people. Maybe there’s a magical artifact we missed? ...Or maybe your personality is just that abrasive?”
The more gloom avoids Legend the worse they get
Till Legend nearly tells them the truth : “You’re all idiots. The curse doesn’t touch me because I’m—" (pauses … realizes, backtracks)— "better than you."
Warriors: "You’ve got bad vibes, my dude. Maybe it’s professional courtesy and also they want us NOT you,… clearly nothing is capable of liking you , not even as a snack”
The entire chain picked up from there to beat a dead man to the ground
The Chain being gremlins : “You’re so full of negativity, the curse sees you as competition.”
Warriors about to die from laughing to hard : “That gloom spawns looked at you and straight-up resigned… , It looked terrified off you” *breaks down crying*
The Yiga realized that something was scaring the gloom and proceeded to go and try sacrificing Legend to fix it
The Chain was concerned for about a minute before the gloom decided it wasn’t interested
The Yiga had then decided that obviously the random sacrifice they tried to make is the true calamity
Why else would it have hair the same color as gloom (pink Yiga are the epitome of horrifying)
Kooga be like "The cursed depths have spoken! You, disturber of the sacred misery, shall be offered as tribute to restore balance to our plagued lands!"
"It—It recognizes him! The great one sees its superior nightmare!"
Legend was absolutely hating everyone that trip he was absolutely ready to reveal his connection to the royal family just to get them to stop
