HANAMAKI TAKAHIRO x READER

Notes: | Haikyuu | This was written in 15 minutes. It's not fully fleshed out, it was just an idea that I had. It's literally just an unfinished piece if I'm honest.

“Sit down and let me look at it.”

Hanamaki rambling about how “you should see the other guy.”

Exasperated, pulling out the first aid kit and trying to deal with Makki’s busted lip and cut eyebrow, “Just sit so I can-“

Makki snickering and trying to keep the situation light. “And then he came swinging again, as if I hadn’t already knocked him on his ass-“

“I said sit.” Your hand on his chest, eyes dark and stern.

A pause, Makki’s eyes wide and lips slightly parted. A soft “Oh.” Escaping him. He sits. He swallows thickly, eyes darting quickly around your face.

“Now let me take a look at you.” Your eyes soften and your teeth worry at your bottom lip as you take in Makki’s wounds.

The bathroom seems so small with the two of you huddled together. Makki on the toilet seat and you between his legs carefully dabbing at his cuts.

Makki hisses when you dab at his lip, a hand darting out and gripping your thigh.

You continue to work, trying desperately to ignore the feeling of his fingers softly brushing along the line of where your skirt ends on your leg.

At Your Service – Makki

Makki works in customer service for the tax office. How he got this job, he has no idea, but he was not about to complain when the paycheck was so decent (mediocre but better than being jobless).

He even got a free phone! It was about 20 years old, had the thickest possible coil wire connecting it to the very stationary base, but it was his. At least during work hours.

Let’s be honest, Makki knows how to charm. When he’s not dependant on body language, his voice sure does its job. He charmed customers left and right, helping old ladies who think he’s such a kind young man and grumpy dads who deem him a cool guy.
