Regarding the clothes ask what style of clothes would you think everyone would naturally lean towards?

I’ll probably get to sketching them at some point but:

- Pomni leans towards a mix of casual and elegant, depending on what the event of the day calls for; if it’s a more casual day like hanging out in the bedrooms or going out to the carnival or lake, she opts for vivid primary colours (with purple accents to represent Kinger lol), shirts/sweaters with big puffy sleeves, comfy pants and butterfly shaped ribbons. She also sometimes just wears her jester hat as if it were hair bc she thinks it’s funny sometimes. When the day calls for something more elegant and regal, she likes to wear smoking suits, lots of dark purple fabric to accent red, blue and white accessories or pants, hair often styled into braids or buns. She gravitates more to feminine suits than dresses. She also has a liking towards leotards due to how freeing movements are.

- Kinger and Queenie are more traditional with regal aesthetics. Kinger’s wardrobe is more samey with frilly boleros, elegant corsets and waistcoats, fancy tight pants that are still good enough to run around in, even some knight armour thrown in sometimes, all in different shades of purple. Queenie’s wardrobe is full of various elegant dresses and smoking suits, more modern and complementary to her figure, a lot of florals, tight around the legs, as well as leotards to match Pomni, all in red. They both share lots of golden accents and accessories, and they both have some more casual clothes and gardening attire.

- Caine’s wardrobe is always growing, as he’s starting to learn a more casual style. He loves his basic red and yellow ringmaster look and the variations he has, but he enjoys cozier clothes on slower days. He likes sweaters, sweater vests, dress shirts, cardigans and slippers, he loves feeling cozy!! But he shares similar tastes to Kinger as well.

- I HC Ragatha as being a farm girl before she got sucked into TADC, so a lot of her outfits are very inspired by cottagecore and farmer’s girl outfits: flowy dresses, summer hats, floral shirt tied up into a crop top, the whole nine yards. She likes a lot of her outfits in pastel blues, covered in patchwork of all sorts.

- Jax likes 2000s casual fashion and streetwear. Think the skater boy next door: dirty sneakers, graphic tee over a long sleeve white shirt, baggy pants with chains on, beanies and necklaces. He also likes a lot of hoodies and sweatpants, all in purples, pinks and yellows.

- Gangle gives off big ballet girl vibes with a mix of Japanese subcultures. Oversized shirts to wear as dresses, jackets that look way too big on her, outfits akin to ballet attire, lots of ribbons and pastels mixed with neon colours. I also HC Gangle as genderfluid, bc I love how masc she looked in the Japanese TADC cafe advert, so I can see her in blockier clothes like her attire from that ad but still retaining that ballet/kawaii vibe. Also a fun fact about GM!Gangle’s outfits is that a lot of them are long pieces of ribbon that can attach to the back of her mask and wrap around her to form a more solid body and outfits, but she still wears regular clothing bc it’s not really warm only wearing ribbons.

- Zooble is a HUGE fan of scenecore aesthetics, as well as emo culture and maximalist fashion. Like with their Zooble parts, anything can go; they like to layer clothes, clash patterns, customise their parts with mementos from adventures, create hair-like extensions to wear on their head. They don’t have any colour preferences, they accept anything lol

Hello! I haven’t done one of these in so long, so my matchup coordination might be a little off.

But given all the things you described about yourself, I’ve decided to match you with Akaashi Keiji!

Your clothing descriptions and fashion stuff really gave me sort of cottagecore/vintage vibes! I’m not sure if I’m close with that, but I’ve attached some outfits that your description made me think of! In my head, this is also the aesthetic that I can definitely imagine Akaashi matching with as well.

Seeing as you also mentioned how you’ve come out of your shell as of recent, I can see him as the type of person who’d help someone he’s close to feel comfortable (i.e., the way he treats Bokuto, but in your case, he won’t be cradling your ego lol). what I mean by this is, with him being relatively quiet and not too outspoken himself, he’d probably take the initiative in making sure you don’t feel overwhelmed or forced to change yourself around others.

In terms of personality, the first thing that caught my eye was obviously your interest in a sport which would be something I think would resonate with him, even if it’s not the same sport. As a person, Akaashi is relatively reserved and pretty soft-spoken. I think that a quiet can translate into having interests which aren’t as ‘out there’(not in all cases though). What I mean is that your interests, some of which are things like baking and plants(/gardening?) are things that can be considered more intimate hobbies, and things that the two of you could do together.

I could imagine the two of you at home on a rainy fall afternoon, baking something together; maybe some apple cinnamon muffins? You might even bond over what I can assume could be your shared fashion sense! based off the outfits we’ve seen Akaashi in, I feel like he’d also go for more of a comfort-casual look.

In the case that you’re into gardening – as you mentioned that you have lots of plants; I could also imagine the two of you going to a large botanical garden together – the types that you can walk around in and take cute photos.

He’d point to a flower and tell you how much it reminds him of you.

“Those are beautiful” He’d say, pointing to tree of acacia flowers. You nod in agreement as you step closer to take a sniff, smelling the faint scent of honey. Hearing the snap of a photo from behind, you turn around to see him holding his phone out facing you.

“What’re you doing?” You questioned

“Just taking a new photo for my lockscreen”. He replied, sliding his phone into his coat.

Hes the type of person to ‘show, not tell’ and so you suspected a hidden motive behind his actions. Once you got home, with a quick search online you were stunned.

I know you’ve answered this several times before but what’s everyone’s current style like (since its possible it’s changed)

This is actually in my character sheets so I’ll give their style with a few examples of colors and fave clothing and stuff like that.

This will get way too detailed but I don’t care, I’ve been waiting for this moment.

Bloom: I don’t know how to describe her style, maybe casual street style but a little cute?

Her main colors are blue, yellow, light orange and the tiniest dash of pink. Bell bottom jeans and high tops are her staple. Other favorites are: thrift shirts, graphic T’s, simple form fitting blouses. Messy ponytails.

Later on her style becomes just a bit more elaborate (in part thanks to the other girls influencing her style) and she incorporates cropped cardigans, pattern jeans and collard shirts. She loves using small flames but doesn’t wear a lot of red. Doesn’t like heels. Messy buns are her fave (she can often be seen with a pencil holding up her hair). ALSO, her staple is bell-bottom jeans and she uses a lot of sweetheart necklines as a way to honor Daphne since that was Daphne’s fave.

Stella: She’s just starcore and artsy fashion.

Her main colors are gold, orange, yellow and green. Later on starts using dark blues and silvers as she gets more in touch with her moon magic.

She wears chain belts, dozens of matching sets (crop shirt and skirt) bralette croptops, mini skirts, high waisted shorts, silk satin fabric (lots of satin fabric), sequins and glitter. Gold jewelry and *extra* shoes, wears heels almost all the time. And her hair is always straightened.

Her style doesn’t so much change as it does just… mature over time, she still wears her glitter and sequins just with more… I don’t want to say taste but more strategically if that makes sense. She experiments more with shapes and overall she does appear a little more mature. She also starts curling her hair a little more often.

Flora: A mix of bohemian and cottagecore aesthetic.

Her main colors are pink and green. Overtime she starts mixing in more neutral colors like beige, white and light greys and browns along with blues and lilac.

She wears puff sleeves, sheer blouses, ribbon corsets and long flowing skirts. She wears cute lace and lots of tull. Simple shoes. Platforms and comfortable heels and ankle boots. She always has braid crowns and accent braids.

Overtime she incorporates even more romantic silhouettes, wrap shirts, translucent shirts over tops, and more complicated shapes for her skirts. She loved showing off her shoulders and back but is at a stage in which she isn’t doing such and is wearing more long sleeved shirts. She also wears more big earings, not just hoops but also big stars and hears and moons and stuff like that. The braids remain but now her favorite kind are waterfall braids.

Musa: She starts off goth/emo but at season 3 I feel like she’s shifting becoming more goth/punk.

Her main colors are dark red and black. Overtime she incorporates dark blues and royal purples.

She wears lots of leather, strappy croptops, fishnets, plaid, checkered patterns, combat boots, chunky platforms, tight mesh tops and big jeans. Her staple is red eyeliner.

Overtime she starts wearing more chains, leg/armwarmers for the aesthetic, chokers, more leather skirts and fishnets with patterns. She loves space buns. And cropped sweaters. Big sweatshirts and lose jeans. Her staple is still red eyeliner but she starts wearing dark lipsticks, dark purple, black, etc.

Tecna: She’s kind of futuristic cyber-punk.

Her main colors are purple and green, later on incorporates silver, blues and whites.

She wears a lot of deconstructed tops and pants. Long boots, irridescent fabric. Cargo pants are her favorite, the more pockets the better. Neon colors and long sleeves.

She starts wearing a lot of bomber jackets (Stella makes her some with dozens of pockets). Visible hemlines, stamped designs (idk how to explain it) black tops and baggy pants.

Aisha: she starts off kind of not really having a style of her own and just wearing the same stuff she does to do sports and dance but over the course of season 2 and 3 she finds she really loves and embraces street style

Her main colors are tans and neutral tones at first, as she discovers herself she incorporates blues, aquas, greens, black but keeps her tans as well.

As her style develops she starts with more sporty streetwear but evolves to just streetwear, cool sweatpants, tracksuits, jerseys, leggings, knee high socks, jumpsuits and sneakers. Cargo shirts.

She incorporates cut-out tops, wide leg pants, platform boots, long necklaces and satin tops as well as interesting patterns for her tops.

Sky: Simple style, becomes a bit more fancy over time

His main colors are blues and yellows. Incorporates oranges and dark green overtime along with neutral tones.

During the swticharoo he mainly wears plain t’s, collared shirts, simple jackets, comfy sneakers and jeans.

After that he wears more ‘styllistic’ shirts and really cool shoes not sure how else to describe it and he honestly doesn’t care that much so that’s as much as he does when he’s not in prince mode. In prince mode he goes all out, long leather boots, capes and velvet.

Brandon: Sporty casual (is that a thing?) becomes more skater boy aesthetic by the day

His main colors are green and white, starts using more dark red and dark blue overtime

He wears tight shirts, vans and either simple or ripped jeans. Printed shirts and lots of weird, but cool, patterns for his shirts. Starts wearing more converses and jackets with patches.

Helia: my boy is very preppy but in a soft way if that makes sense

His main colors are beige and pale yellow and neutral colors, he incorporates pale greens and blues and reds.

He wears a lot of chinos, soft cardigans and collared shirts as well as knitted sweaters and vans that he paints on .

He incorporates overtime blazers, button ups, scarves, pullovers, soft vests and loose… what are they called? Those romeo-like shirts you know the ones. But he still wears exclusively long sleeves unless he’s in the dorm or with just the squad.

Riven: He starts off very street style but after he starts living with his grandparents his street style starts incorporating some punk elements (yes, he was influenced by Musa but he will never admit it)

His main colors are dark red, dark blue and grays. He incorporates more blacks, greens and different shades of red.

Bomber jackets are his staple in season 1. He also wears leather jackets, cropped t’s, graphic t’s, ripped jeans and simple shirts with stickers as well as sneakers.

Overtime he incorporates, hightops, plain sleeveless shirts, black cargo pants and darker bomber jackets with patches. He starts wearing a lot of rings and his sister always paints his nails black. He’ll occasionally ask Musa to do his eyeliner.

Timmy: I love Timmy but he is low-key hopeless. He’s just nerd

His main colors are yellows and oranges, he wears more greens and neutral tones overtime.

He wears simple t-shirts with colored sleeves, baggy jeans and cotton shirts, sneakers and layers. He has 1 jean jacket that he loves more than life itself, both his mom and Stella keep trying to burn it because it’s that old but he guards it with his life.

He starts wearing more button up shirts, turtlenecks and slightly less baggy jeans. He gets shirts with cute patterns (he has one with kitten paws) or graphic t-shirts from fandoms. He also wears a newer jean jacket with patches that Stella made but still has the old one.

Nabu: he has a cool casual style if that makes sense? Not sure?

His main colors are purples, blues, grays and neutral tones.

He wears chinos, button up shirts, cool vans, loose sweaters. Cool long sleeved, loose shirts. Leather bracelets and hawaiian-style shirts only with patterns that are more ‘fashionable’.

Fire-round for the Trix’s styles in season 1 since all fashion has gone out the window for them for different reasons.

Icy: main colors; blues and silvers

HIGH PONYTAIL, leather skirts, crystals and crop tops. Thigh high boots, belts, strappy tops high heels and mini skirts with chains.

Stormy: main colors; dark reds, black and blue

Punk. Ripped fishnets, black, ripped graphic t’s, belts, off-shoulder shirts and plaid shirts over black bras.

Darcy: main colors; purple, yellow and grays.

Long bell pants, vests and blazers. Circles/weird patters, small sunglasses. Platforms and simple crop tops.

How does Jangmi style her clothes? Does she like some specific styles or is she more casual?

At home in her leisure time, when she has nowhere to go and nothing to do but relax, she wears a large T-shirt and shorts. When she's training, she wears leggings and a sports bra with a croptop over it. Outside of those situations, Jangmi dresses very well. With the confidence that going to Jujutsu High and training as a sorcerer gave her, once she had graduated and was free to wear what she wanted, she didn't want to waste the opportunity to make herself feel good by looking good. I made a vague moodboard post about this before but I'll try to describe it in a little more depth here.

Cottagecore and vintage fashion. Specifically, she loves wearing white or cream-colored flowing blouses with skirts, as well as dresses. She's really big into poet sleeves. The fabric is always soft and flowy, because that's the aesthetic she likes, and often with lace accents. So things like silk, satin, cotton... maybe velvet, depending on the piece. The top pictured in the commissioned art I got of her is this one, actually. On that note, she likes the corset look, too. She doesn't usually wear such a deep cut neckline as that, but a top like that, for her, is too good to not wear just because it shows a little cleavage. (Which... she doesn't really have? She would describe it as "a valley, not a rift." It's not like a distinct line where her breasts are pushed up against one another. There's a flat space on her sternum between the swell of her breasts on either side. But I digress.)

Dark and light academia, "librarian chic." She does have a slightly more casual look with jeans and a top, kind of like this, but she much prefers skirts and dresses. The mood for jeans/pants doesn't strike her as often, but it does from time to time. With the skirts and dresses she does still stick to soft and flowing, but when she's wearing pants or jeans it's skinny-cut, hugging her hips and legs. Tops are either loose and with a few buttons undone, or form-fitting with a large piece of outerwear like a jacket, cardigan, or blazer.

And I know you didn't ask, but she takes very good care of her hands, and they are usually French manicured, or painted pearlescent white, like this. She doesn't keep her nails quite that long, though. More like the nails on the hand at the bottom of this picture. Naturally long rather than artificially so.

can someone help me think through how to communicate with my bf.

we’ve been together for years now and all is good, we talk through problems, we love spending time together, we live together well, etc. we’re compatible in a lot of important ways like romance, humor, beliefs. i used to not have friends of my own which was a little hard but i found my own friend group which he encouraged me to spend time with and he gets along with them great.

the thing is that we are very different on a surface level. stereotypical gamer bf and artsy gf. i spend a lot of time listening to his interests and things that he cares about. i will watch him play games i don’t understand and listen to his music i dont like and ive let him know that its not my thing and he appreciates that i do it anyway. but when my interests come up he doesn’t really engage so much. i think local politics are important and he says its not worth it and moves on. i show him my art and he says good job and not much else. i’m very casually into like cottagecore and libraries and fantasy and those kinds of aesthetics but when he sees it he says he doesn’t like it because it reminds him of his annoying sister (she is a lot but like harmless). he sees anything his sister likes as uncool but like he also knows that his interests are weird and not popular.

he’s still sweet and it’s not intentionally dismissive. he will watch shows i like and get into them, he lets me show off my clothes to him and compliment my outfits because i like fashion. he gets me cute gifts because he knows i like cute things. so this is not a dump him situation

this is actually a topic on my mind a lot so i'll get more into it here! as jade is a hiker, it's unrealistic to expect he wouldn't be dressing like one. i think the mori kei style embodies that dirty mushroom boy aesthetic in a nutshell, but its sister style, yama girl (or yama kei), is better for actual hiking! this idea was stolen from inspired by @//perlenpfeiI on twitter

god yeah all those old money aesthetics are beautiful, yes, ajd i do like the idea of having the money to buy more sustainable things like real wool sweaters and such that a lot of these aesthetics preach, like feminine elegance. but oh my god why are we all obsessed with dressing like rich people. first of all like please we need some class consciousness like yeah everyone should be able to have nice things but there comes a point where its excessive. second rich people all have awful awful taste anyway have u seen any of the syper expensive houses in like la or new york theyre all gross. also. charles leclercs style for example. he is rich and hot but unfortunatley thats not enough he dresses like a crazy person. like cmon people.

also also i have a small garden and some chickens and theres no way im wearing those cottagecore dresses anywhere near either of them. everything is covered in chicken shit girl bffr

i think it all comes from influencing tbh influencers have the jobs that they have bc they can afford to make social media work for them they can afford nice things to show off and and wear and nice places to go and create content around it by reccomend ig their favourite places and products to other people so naturally the people who can afford these things become our point of reference for what is good and popular . like fashion tiktok is iconised by people not who utilise their everyday wardrobes to create unique and wearable outfits or universal styling tips but by people who are able to buy into every trend and every iconic fashion piece that’s causing chatter like the diesel mini skirt the chopova lowena skirts the mschf red boots the people who we look to for fashion styling tips and inspiration generally have wardrobes that are unaffordable to most people and they can change their wardrobe by day to meet current trends or to create outfits that people ask to see . it’s these people who set trends by appearing as normal people they’re not marketed as influencers or celebrities they’re homemade videos made in their bedroom about them trying on outfits which makes them appear more relateabke to the average user and therefor their aesthetic more attainable . ‘how to dress like a vivienne westwood model’ ‘how to dress clean girl’ ‘how to look old school prep’ these are all trends made and followed by people with extensive wardrobes we like them because we see people who wear them and we see it as an attainable aesthetic because of the casual nature of the way it is presented to us and we subconsciously want to seem relevant to those around us . bc what these people aren’t telling you is the skirt they’re wearing is £400 or that the ‘dressing like a vivienne westwood model with my every day wardrobe’ contains actual vivienne westwood pieces . i think the whole normalisation of wanting to look rich comes from the fact that the people who set the trends are changing to market their aesthetics through more interactive and relatable platforms that kind of blurs the lines of attainability and affordability but LMAOOOO DRAG CHARLES LECLERC HIS STUPID ASS OUTFITS

A collection of youtubers that make clothing, objects, etc with videos thatre >15ish minutes long, for all the folk who like having those kinds of videos on while working. If you have recommendations for someone not included, please let me know! This acts half as a resource and half as a discussion post. And I'll be 100% transparent in that my corner of the internet is moreso towards historical fashion-- if you have any other recommendations outside of that sphere, feel free to mention them!

Almost exclusively a crocheter who makes video/vlogs on crocheted clothing, based on themes (seasons, color, media, etc).

Less of an "aesthetic" (in the way that other channels sometimes are), and more of a casually wearable style (that leans heavily into being crochet).
