Oof there was a hot second where Nicholas Lea was the little black dress of slash fandom. He looked good on everyone and thanks to a lot of stuff being filmed in BC in the mid to late 90s he was in everything so crossovers abound.

I remember a long running fic series at one point that tied X-files, Highlander, and Once A Thief together with the premise that Alex/Cory/Victor where the same immortal.

Lea Michele & Cory/Lea Thoughts

I don’t want to upset you guys in case if you disagree with this but that’s ok if you don’t.

It’s coming from someone who was a HUGE Cory & Lea fan for years and had riots on almost every social media you could think of and stayed up all night, talking about those pictures, updates, so on. I was a fan of their friendship way before they started dating then it was just a bonus for me when they got together. So this is a deal-breaker now that I know Lea’s true colors have been out right and left since then.

Past few days since Lea’s “true colors” have been out, I’ve been thinking about glee days and what I’ve noticed but didn’t think of it. I hate to say this, I am more than convinced Lea’s nasty attitude and behavior was what drove Cory to drugs. Yes, being on glee, working with shitty boss like Ryan was a nightmare so yes, I’m holding him accountable for that. So reading all of people, fans, random encounters, etc, not one of them said one good thing about Lea. She was absolutely too rude, vile, snob, kind of a bitch, definitely horrible monster and I could go on and on. So think about it. Imagine you being in relationship with that kind of person and you are kindest, sweet, considerate, and of course, vulnerable so she’d like to prey on that. We saw Cory and we know he didn’t have mean streak in his body so imagine how Lea called all the shots, put so much pressure on him, and yelled at him if he didn’t do what she wanted and didn’t follow her demands, even how insane that is, etc. So I can imagine how that stressed him out and made him miserable because there was no way of getting out of relationship he obviously wasn’t happy and was dreading to deal with because that meant dealing with her horrible, horrible wrath so he relied on drugs that made him happy and it made him escape from it. That’s sad. Remember one story when fans wanted pics and Lea said NO for both of her and Cory but he didn’t like it and wanted to give the fans what they wanted but she dragged him away and he would feel bad and guilty that fans didn’t have best experience interacting with them. He’d sometimes say I’m sorry. 

There was another one when he chatted with fans and Lea waited in the car, so furious with him for making her wait and interacting with fans so when he got in the car, the fans saw anger on her face, so imagine the fights in the car they had and with her constantly tearing him apart, making him feel like shit, etc. So I hate to say Lea was responsible for what happened to him. During glee earliest days, at highest peak of fame, Cory went with casts to awards parties, glee parties, even had big parities at his house or went over a cast member’s house, we didn’t see him relapse, not with alcohols literally everywhere, nearby him and yet.... he didn’t tempt it. And he also had a lot of money from glee and yet he didn’t go out of his way to buy drugs because obviously he could afford it but yet he didn’t do that. Remember, he survived about THREE YEARS on glee and season one and two were at its highest peak. So he had all the opportunities to take advantage of that but didn’t and kept being strong. Then when he started dating Lea in Feb 2012 accounting to witnesses who saw them out and about, and remember what Ann said from her interview, that his relapse started in December 2012. So he managed to stay strong for about three years especially on highest-rated tv show but relapsed after only about 8 months or less, after getting on with Lea. That’s how it happened. So before that, he was sober and didn’t look at drugs at all or anything else. But when started dating her, it took maybe less than 8 months for him to relapse. This is not hard to figure out. I’m just sad that this led to his demise.

He lauded himself as a genius and fought the urge to actually pump a fist in the air celebrating his victory.

Bowling was pretty awesome, and he’d gotten what he wanted right? She agreed to come back to Glee, and now he could move on with his plans for getting that music scholarship Miss Pillsbury told him about. Then he could secure a future that would allow him to support a family.

Except for one nagging little problem... was that what his future was really meant to look like? Because like, no, he wasn’t the kind of douche who would just walk away from his responsibilities... but maybe what his future was supposed to look like was different than the view out of that corner he felt like he got painted into with Quinn’s words. And also, did he feel good about building or achieving a future based on these pretenses?

He could see one other possibility, but it all sort of depended on the girl sitting in the truck next to him. She was presently daintily licking at a vanilla soft serve cone, and watching her do it was making all the blood in his body travel to places it really shouldn’t go right now.

On today's episode of: Phoebe procrastinates writing her essay, I give you this take on the @drarrymicrofic prompt: pink. This is inspired by this FUCKING ICONIC scene from the best-worst TV show ever made: "Glee." Enjoy! CW: alcohol

"Chug! Chug! Chug! Chug!" Harry watched amusedly as the other students gathered around Draco as he chugged a bottle of some spiked lemonade, standing on a coffee table that was thankfully fairly low to the ground.

Draco emptied the bottle, much to the delight of the crowd, and Harry stood from his spot on the couch and wandered over to the scene, looking up at Draco and shaking his head fondly.

Draco grinned down at them all and shouted, "It tastes like pink! IT TASTES LIKE PINK!!" The crowd cheered and laughed, and Harry pushed through them to grab his boyfriend when he started to sway.

"Alright, that's enough for you," Harry said, grunting as Draco fell into his arms bridal style and pressed a sloppy, wet kiss to his neck.

"Pink," Draco murmured, closing his eyes and curling into Harry's embrace.
