#actually i have more thoughts on this#robert as toph because he's loud#this is his idea of premium acting#so trevor running around doing special effects#annie playing all the minor characters/extras#chris as zuko#trying to play him seriously despite the play#sandra is more like the version of katara in the play#but i think she'd want the cooler lead#so sandra as azula#vanessa would be katara#and at some point it would become painfully obvious she's just copying sandra#causing a fight#max would be sokka#chris would think his happy and silly nature would come in handy for once#but of course something goes wrong anyway#actually max might also play uncle iroh#and then i'm torn when it comes to the rest#if we were faithful to the woman being cast as aang bit#we could put lucy as aang#but that isn't really striking me#if lucy appears at all in the play#i think it would be hilarious for her to play ozai#which leaves either dennis as aang#who is supposed to be the animated main character#who is instead stiff and forgetting his lines#OR jonathan as aang#and have him always kept out of sight by things going wrong with set effects costumes props flying wires etc via @dolphelecat
Ok, but hear me out. Cornley puts on The Boy in the Iceberg by Pu-on Tim and previously performed by the Ember Island Players.

Chris, Sandra, Robert, and Vanessa as YouTubers
(because the idea was living in my neurons and firing them constantly)
Chris is so one of those guys who acts out his favourite scenes from plays and movies and TV shows.
But, more importantly,
He is watching stage performances and ripping into them with a zest that scares new viewers.
(There is a drinking game floating around with older viewers based on what Chris says or does, such as pinching the bridge of his nose at least three times in the span of two minutes or if he starts a sentence off like, “Hm, right, well then.”)
He's talking about Shakespeare, he's talking about Wilde, he's looking at off-Broadway and off-West End up-and-coming shows
He's looking at what's promising (u&c shows), what's timeless (older, well-known shows), and what he appreciates about them or what he thinks is outdated or sucked in execution (all).
Once a month, he'll perform a scene from a play he wrote himself.
There are several plays he's penned from which he chooses each month, performing scenes that are disjointed, so his ideas cannot be potentially stolen.
He does have a Patreon, the patrons dubbed “The Screen Beans.”
One of the things he does every other week is a live Q&A while he does mundane things like cleaning his office or making a meal or holds yarn for someone off-screen.
There are fancams in the #ScreenBeans tags across social media of his lives due to Chris' much more laid-back personality.
(Laid-back is a relative term here. He is still very conscious of what he says and does, however he wears his glasses or forgets to shave a few days before the lives or is wearing cosy-looking handmade jumpers.)
His Instagram account is active, and he posts at least thrice a week. Each post is something specific for the day, like #HoratioMondays, #WednesdayViewings, and #SaturdayShots.
Horatio is a beloved feature of his channel. A nearly completely black cat with white spots on the end of his tail, over one eye, and on one paw, the little guy is missing half of one of his ears. He has brilliant green eyes, though, that look like emeralds when the light hits him right.
Chris had, in his late-teens one night walking to his flat, stumbled across Horatio as a small, weak, and thin kitten. He instantly picked him up and took him back to his flat. Though there were two other roommates there, Chris was positive that they would be fine with it.
(This was in part due to having seen Kevin's family cat in the family pictures around the flat, and also knowing the Patels since he and Kev were in Primary. Their other roommate was a friend of a friend named Max Bennett, and he was surprisingly easy-going and adored animals.)
Horatio Mondays are of the now almost twelve-year-old cat going about his life.
Sometimes they're videos of him staring at a bug on the window or of him dropping one of his toys into his mini water fountain and then releasing the most pitiful and cooked yowl for Chris to rescue it.
Other times they're pictures of him curled up on the little bed Chris has for him in his office, slightly messy selfies of the two of them together, or pictures of Horatio dressed up for whatever holiday or event is approaching.
Wednesday Viewings are sneak peaks into what his video on Friday will be about. Sometimes it's a shot of the title card of the movie or TV show. Others it's an artfully done picture of a book of a play open with several pens and sticky notes scattered in and around it.
Saturday Shots are just pictures of anything particularly interesting Chris did during the week, or pictures and videos taken during a stroll in the park near his flat, or pictures with his friends at cafés or theatres.
Many people are surprised by who Chris is friends with, not expecting to see the Sandra Wilkinson, the Robert Grove, and the Vanessa Wilcock-Wynn-Carroway with him.
Well, okay, Sandra and Robert make sense given that both of them are well-known acting vloggers, too. But it always throws new viewers off to find out that Chris and Vanessa are engaged.
The two of them are very good at keeping their accounts separate and compartmentalized.
Once they announce their engagement on both of their channels, however, the divide they had slowly erodes away and Vanessa can be seen occasionally in his lives, sometimes even joining in for a few minutes. She also starts to feature more heavily on his Instagram page, along with her cat Othello.
(Screen Beans are shook to find out that Chris had been hiding an entire whole ass cat from them for years. Especially one as fluffy as Othello. When asked about it in a live Q&A that he did on Instagram after his engagement announcement video went up, he chalked the lack of Othello up to the fact that he can close his office door while he films. And that Othello likes to sleep most of the time on his and Vanessa's bed or hang out with her while she works on a new pattern or design or challenge.)
Chris posts his videos every Friday, and they range between three minutes long to over an hour and a half if he's dissecting a film/TV show/play.

Part 2; Pirate!Cornley AU Crew Relationships
I wrote out a whole braindump for this month's ago and just completely forgot to ever post about it 👁👄👁
Tumblr media
Relationship info/explanations/random blurbs:
Robert and Chris:
Everyone on deck thinks Robert and Chris just need to kiss and get it over with.
Robert and Chris know they have complicated feelings for each other but they refuse to acknowledge any of those feelings as attraction. They have the most fights (physical and verbal) amongst anyone on board, but most of their arguments aren't actually heated or personal, the both of them just like arguing and sparring with the other. Chris tends to get more genuinely annoyed with Robert, than Robert does with Chris. Their relationship is better in this AU than their canon relationship, but they still definitely drive each other crazy and have a lot of shit they need to deal with.
They both have ~spicy thoughts~ about the other but try to keep them buried (Especially on Robert's end) for some stupid reason.
Robert and Sandra
The only person on deck that can truly intimidate Robert is Sandra. He once made the mistake of insulting Max enough that it genuinely hurt his feelings; Sandra gave Robert a warning with her dagger. He now has a split in the helix of his right ear. She told him next time, it'd be his tongue.
They still care about each other though, they're just not the closest on board.
Robert and Jonathan
Jonathan and Robert have had a few hook ups, but only when they were really drunk and/or desperate to be touched. It didnt mean anything more than relief/pleasure to either of them and they're fine with that. Neither have made a move to make it a regular arrangement between them, nor do they really address it after it happens.
Vanessa and Dennis
Vanessa and Dennis' relationship feels familial in the sense that Vanessa acts like a stern and over protective mom-friend to Dennis, but Dennis also has a "squish" on her but seeing as it's the 18th century, he doesn't know what that is and gets very confused about how he feels towards her. He assumes it must be romantic, despite that not being the case, and it causes some complexity and tension between the two.
Jonathan and Sandra
Johnathon and Sandra were never together in this AU. Sandra just wasn't interested in that kind of thing with him. They have a chill and casual friendship.
Jonathan and Annie
Jonathan and Annie have also casually hooked up, but Annie discovered she has a preference for women, so it only happened twice. The two of them are chill about it and will try to play wingman to each other sometimes but it never goes well
Sandra and Max
Max and Sandra are in a (sexually) non-monogamous relationship, in that they are fine with the other sleeping with other people, but are monogamous romantically. Sandra and Annie sometimes hook up. Max doesn't reallt fancy anyone that way aside from Sandra, and he doesn't have an issue with jealousy because he knows how much he means to Sandra.
Annie and Vanessa
Annie and Vanessa are mutually pining for each other, and it's extremely obvious to everyone else, but they just won't be direct with each other about it. They're practically dating, but unofficially, and they're too nervous to make any physical advances on the other. Ness is the only person who can fluster Annie that way.
Sandra and Vanessa
Sandra and Vanessa have a very close and sisterly type of relationship. Vanessa admires Sandra's strength and confidence and Sandra admires Vanessa's vulnerability. They sometimes have arguments about petty things, like siblings do, but they blow over quickly.
Trevor and Annie
The two of them also have a sibling type of bond. They bicker and play fight a lot, but the moment the other is in genuine distress or danger, they are quick to have the other's back.
Max and Dennis
Max and Dennis have an extremely close friendship/brotherhood. Their friendship is incredibly deep and pure.
Chris and Trevor
Trevor previously had romantic feelings for Chris and for awhile, Chris wanted to reciprocate those feelings, but he couldn't. They hooked up on multiple occasions, but stopped when they realized and accepted that they weren't trying to get the same thing out of it. They had a brief period of time where it was really awkward between them and they barely spoke, but Trevor's romantic interest faded away and they were able to enter a new and better friendship.
I could go on and on, but those are the main ideas I wanted to spit out, if anyone cares/is interested in hearing about any relationships I didn't touch on, lemme know and I'd be happy to share!
Pirate!Cornley AU Braindump
Crew Positions and tasks
Chris - Captain; navigator, steers, general management, communicator
Robert - First mate; "the muscle." Spends most of his time by Chris' side, backseat captain-ing. In charge of a lot of tasks that require physical strength.
Vanessa- Crew therapist and head chef; also knows how to sew.
Sandra - Master combatant
Max - Look out; helps with physically demanding tasks. The crew's "bird guy."
Annie - Doctor and co-chef; also helps Trevor with his chores.
Trevor - Boatswain and Carpenter; has the most chores out of the whole crew but he sees himself as the only person able to keep the ship functioning.
Johnathon - Sailmaker/tends to the sails; also helps with everything else when he can.
Dennis - Barnacle boy, deck scrubber
Combat skills, best to worst:
Sandra
Strengths: Technique, precision, agility, manipulation.
Info: She learned from a young age what the world expected her to be and how she was "supposed" to behave. She made it her mission to reclaim those stereotypes/expectations and use them to her benefit. She can literally seduce people to death, which has won her the nickname of "The Siren." But if you think for one second that that's all she's capable of, you'll be sorely mistaken. She can be both the kindest and scariest person to exist, sometimes simultaneously.
Weapons of preference: sword and daggers
Annie
Strengths: brutality, well educated on anatomy, can take a hit well and hit back harder, uses a mix of traditional and "dirty" methods.
Info: Similar to Sandra in that she's reclaimed labels to benefit her. She was always seen as scrappy, and somewhat crass and was often treated poorly because of it. She always had multiple interests growing up, one of those being medicine, particularly anatomy.
She knows the most vital/vulnerable areas of the body and will target them with incredible force. Can also be completely unhinged when upset.
Weapons of preference: daggers, gun, or flail
Robert
Strengths: physically strong, brutal, anger issues
Info: He's lacking in technicality and can be bested by more agile/intelligent opponents; that's only if he hasn't severely wounded them already. Likes to fight dirty and intimately, rules are beneath him. His fights are often bloody. He is a good dueler but finds duels boring. Only enjoys sword fighting with Chris but can't place why. He also likes to goad his crew mates into play wrestling with him.
Weapons of preference: his hands/body, always carries a gun
Trevor
Strengths: Above average fighter. Physically pretty strong, can be both brutal and technical. Decently familiar with a variety of weaponry.
Info: Has a tendency to be clumsy which an opponent can use against him. He is short tempered and goes feral in a real fight. He's not afraid to be bloodied up but also doesn't enjoy fighting. When in a fight, he'd like to end it as quickly as possible so he can get back to focusing on his plethora of responsibilities.
Weapon of preference: gun
Max
Strenghts: solid dueler; high stamina, bounces back quickly, finds the fun in it, treats it like a dance- even if it's real combat. Is Sandra's boyfriend.
Info; only slightly better than Johnathon.
Enjoys practicing with Sandra, she always wins. Only really knows how to duel. He doesn't like to use his hands to hurt people if he can help it. He's easily distracted and wounds by accident more often than purposefully.
Weapons of preference: sword, and Sandra.
Johnathon
Strengths: Decent stamina. Works better as support as he can use the fact that he's often overlooked to catch oponents off gaurd. More willing to kill/injur than Max is. Resiliant and able to roll with the punches, often having to make do with the bare minimum.
Info: Average combatant, self taught. Has the potential to be better but seems to be cursed with bad luck. Often gets his sword stuck in surroundings.
Weapon of preference: gun, rarely gets to use one though.
Vanessa
Info and Strengths: Below average at hand to hand combat. Easily frightened. Can hold her own, but not for very long.
Really good at executing pre-made battle plans, but you can't pre-plan for most fights. She's unsuspecting so can make for a good hit woman. Mild tempered and somewhat meek most of the time, only snaps on rare occasions; but when she does, it's terrifying, and often lethal.
She's also one of the main reasons Dennis has stayed alive.
Weapons of preference: ship cannons and poison
Chris
Info and strenghts: definition of "bark is bigger than his bite."
If looks and words could kill- Chris would be at the top of the list, but as that's not the case, this is where he ranks.
What he lacks in combat skill he makes up for by being competent at basically everything else - or at least, being able to carry himself like he is. Robert has attempted to "teach" him on several occasions by starting fights with him but it doesn't help. He prefers to keep physical altercations short, impersonal, and to the point; so he uses a gun. He technically knows how to duel and can act like he's better than he is at it, but that facade is easily breakable.
Weapon of preference: his brain and words.
Dennis
Info and strengths: For the love of God, please keep this man away from a fight!
He only can damage others by accident. Everyone on deck has tried to help Dennis improve his combat skills but have all failed. Max got the closest but Dennis started crying at the thought of hurting him on purpose and they had to stop.
If ever in a fight, he closes his eyes, and swings around a sword, or flail, whilst screaming at the top of his lungs. Surprisingly, and accidentally, he has killed oponents this way. He's good at hiding because he's so small. He also can be used as bait to lull oponents into a false sense of security, but none of his crew mates would actually ever let him die. In fact, him being harmed by any enemies will make the crew go apeshit. Especially Vanessa.
Weapon of preference: PLEASE DO NOT ARM DENNIS

Fic authors self rec! When you get this, reply with your favorite five fics that you've written, then pass on to at least five other writers. Spread the self-love *blasts you with sparkly hearts* ️💞🩷💖💗❤️💓❤️💝💕💘❤️💕❤️💘
Tumblr media
Aah this is so sweet! I'm gonna have to look through all my stuff now...
I'm doing 5 different fandoms because I feel like it!
1. Jeeves and Wooster: Intersex!Wooster, Asexual!Wooster, pre-canon. Jooster. I'm so happy with how this one turned out, especially since I was so nervous to write it!
2. Goes Wrong Show: Each Cornley member comes out in their own way. ChrisTrev and Max/Sandra, Annie/Vanessa. Featuring every character, many different labels, and a variety of ways of coming out, which is why I love it so much!
3. BBC Merlin: Modern AU where Arthur is an English rugby player and Merlin is a Welsh water carrier. Merthur and Morgwen. I love this one because I love rugby player!Arthur and I'm a rugby fan in real life too, so I had fun getting to write about something I know about!
4. Classic Who: Two and Jamie wonder what the other sees in them. TwoJamie. This one was incredibly tough to pick because I think out of everything I've written I'm most proud of all my Classic Who ones. However, I think this one is my best ever attempt at conveying human emotion, thoughts and feelings, which is why I have chosen it. I feel like I really dived into why Two and Jamie think the way they do, which I highly enjoyed doing. Also a good dose of mutual pining which we always love.
5. BBC Ghosts: Modern AU where Pat and the Captain are teachers, and Thomas runs a cafe. PatCap. Also really hard to choose one of these, cos I have so many that I love! This one is dear to my heart though, and I come back to reread it whenever I need a quick dose of PatCap in my life. Also writing Thomas was a joy as I don't do that very often.

Ninety percent of the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society members are time travelers. None of them are meant to be there. Therein lies the problem.
(A story of two unstoppable forces: the flow of time, and a group of friends fighting to return to each other.)
---
hey hi the time travel au has landed! after a whole year in the making!! pls enjoy!!!!

There’s so many fun ones on this list, but I did manage to choose eventually.
4. A story idea you haven’t written yet.
And you’re going to have to answer a second one as well, you know. ;)
23. pick three keywords that describe your writing
Ooh these are good choices!!
4 - In terms of fics my brain is all CPDS atm so I'm going to have to say my vague lingering thought of a Cornley AU where all of the gang meet at summer camp as teens. I don't know why this is so firm an image in my brain - but it definitely feels like a longer fic, so whether it will ever get started is another matter!
23 - This was tricky... (that's not the three words, although honestly it does also sum up my experience of writing the majority of the time!) I'm going with feel-good (however sad the middle, I believe in happy endings), succinct (I have to actively work on adding description - I'm very matter-of-fact!) and personal (so many tiny details and turns of phrase are lifted from whatever's happened that week in my life - can't help it, and it adds to the fun for me).
These were great :) Thank youuuu for the ask <3

oh baby it's askin' time. 58, 66, 73, 90, and 21 for funs :)
Good evening, got booted out of my account for a moment but I am back and presently avoiding working on my writing projects ( will be working after this because my project list is ever expanding and I Still need do get done the ch3 illustration aaaaaa)
What's the last thing a fic made you Google when you were writing it?
Uhh the last thing was the bus system in the Tampa Bay area to Plant city for the immortal blade story. He starts off as a college student before having the worst night of his life brought to you by maybe a few too many Jaegerbombs.
In other research I tried an energy drink to see how it would feel as I have a scene in that Eugenia is an incredibly passive aggressive ghost wherein Keith absolutely crashes right before a show so Mickey gives him a monster thinking what's the worst that could happen? It goes poorly.
When have you felt the most confident in your writing?
Occasionally when I'm working on a project I'll have one of those moments where I realise Hey I just set up and paid off some very nice bits of theme and motif Ohoho it's all coming together, I've connected the dots. It's usually then.
Otherwise, my best writing? This line I wrote at 4 am.
"“Well- jokes on you! Both of my parents are dead!” Kevin sputtered.
Jeremy paused for a moment. Someone nearby shouted, “Her ghost is disappointed!” The crowd murmured in agreement."
How do you visualize scenes? Do you see it like a movie in your head, or do the words just flow?
So when I first start drafting a story I will be sitting there staring at a wall and there's a tiny film projector in my head playing out key beats, very visual but also vibe driven. The Great Imposter was very one to one in the scene beats and imagery I came up with initially like the imagery of the study sequence where he's stuck watching the action unable to act, or the whirring ambulance lights in sprinkling rain for Shock Blanket.
When I actually start writing it's a bit of both, my brain is multitasking to high hell. Those central images serve as a guide which is supported by insane amounts of character research and story structure. Most of the chapter illustrations are those initial clear images translated to drawing. I figure if the iconography is so effective to me, it should hopefully work on my audience too as a supplement to the vibes.
Do you notice your own voice in your writing?
Exceedingly so, yes. While I do make an effort to write within character logic and voice, it is still my writing. I have been told my usual voice is resemblant of a late 1800s British satirist, which seems fair (irony is the death of sincerity, my deepest struggle writing) however other inspirations include: Terry Pratchett, Lemony Snickett, Clue 1985, Tj Klune, David Sedaris, etc. All this to say always very dry humor, fast rhythm, and exceedingly long metaphors that are just a bit too specific.
Pick a writer to co-write a book and tell us what you'd write about.
Uhhhh I don't know but if you ever want to write a story together here's my pitches that I am coming up with on the spot (absolutely no pressure, i just dont know how else to answer this):
An AU of Homeward, Boumd where the Beans are all human, but still just as fucked up. Like Chris mentions offhand that his brother once threw him into a hole in their basement and left him for dead and everyone is just !!!??????
Celia Bean had an affair (outside of her one with Robert of course) which after an ancestry test brings James's number of suprise siblings up to 3. I just feel like him and Chris have similar vibes. Plus the chaos of introducing these two groups, particularly Cornley being perhaps a little too snooping over this (Jonathan and Dennis trying to casually hide behind a newspaper in a café only to be immediately clocked by Chris)
I've got an urban fantasy noir sorta story where magic is real and the whole thing kicks off with a spell backfiring and James's dad disappearing. Features things such as Keith and Mickey Co running a psychic shop (Keith runs the shop, Mickey is his glorified landlord, roommate, and self nominated HR department), Kevin getting up to shenanigans as a ghost, human glowsticks being abused for said glowing, werebear the ultimate bear, group sleepover (See: James and Mickey fall asleep and nobody has the heart to wake them). I believe I've mentioned this one before.
Anyways thanks for the ask, forgive me if it's A bit incomprehensible I am extremely sleep deprived from an absolute eager with my friend last night wherein we reorganized her bedroom and then discussed theology till 4 am. Best wishes, Jon, I don't know why I'm signing off like an email but it's there now

Introducing your Cornley Catastrophe!
Team & Mascot
Centers
Defensemen
Wingers
Goalie
As a preface, I'm coming at this from the perspective of someone who watches the National Hockey League (NHL) and the ECHL. I don't really pay attention to the International Hockey Federation (IHF), and I have no experience with the English Ice Hockey League (EIHL) aside from knowing they exist. The hockey culture I will be referencing, therefore, is going to be North American by default.
Here's a guide that goes into more detail about the actual roles on a hockey team in the NHL.

dude just anything on ao3
current favourites are; Pineorange, the entire join me in fiction series by Yamatta or just everything by them really, Everybody Hurts & The Coup & Valentines by GenusRosa, the way back home by starship ranger and Bean's Beans coffee shop AU by spiritiscalling and the cornley high school au & dennis character study & unexpected sandra robert parenting brotp by spacecrystal and Excerpts from the Life and Times of the Cornley Amatuer Dramatics Society by beskaryc and Flexion and extension by NeverTrulySet! And the effects of a secret santa gift exchange on an emotionally stupid director by Rine! You're never sick until the show is over is also a solid fic by eringiles!
Honestly either sort by kudos and just devour it all or bop around the tags, not a massive fandom so you could probably get through everything on ao3 in a few weeks.
like I've yet to read something on there I haven't liked, most of the fics on there I've loved
and there's likely a metric fuck ton I'm forgetting but I have yet to sleep and these are the ones on the recent pages in my history
everyone's so talented it's mad
I've been inhaling Cornley fanfic
where the fuck do you talk about fanfic
everyone's so good??
the characters in this comedy show can fit so much angst inside of them

Fairy Trevor fic!
Be My Fairy(Tale) by JoinMeInFiction
Trevor is studying to become a fairy and deals with normal student troubles like learning how to get a tooth out of a kid's bedroom. What he did not expect was to be sent to help a man named Chris as a fairy godmother, and he definitely did not expect that Chris would be very handsome.

16, 17, a cheeky 28, and 49 for the ask game? Thanks :)
Also obligated to include 43 though you don’t have to answer bc I don’t think you do prompts
HELLO MY LOVE thank you for asking me things even though it's one and a half days after I said I'd be bored at work.
16. What's an AU you would love to read (or have read and loved)?
ohh i read and love so many aus it is so difficult to choose just one. some of my favourites include spies, ghost hunting, anything with magic, pacific rim (despite never having seen the movie lol), stories in which there Are alternate universes and characters get trapped in them. i could keep going but i'll stop there haha
17. What highly specific AU do you want to read or write even though you might be the only person to appreciate it?
I love writing things that draw from real life, partially because it adds ✨realism✨ and partially because it's fun to romanticise things that are happening in my life by turning them into fic in my head. (see: newsies band camp fic, newsies soulmates fic)
SO in that vein I would probably have an absolutely joyous time reading/writing a summer festival au, with tips to a bunch of the shenanigans I've gotten up to / been privy to over the past couple years. this may or may not include the romcom I dreamed up last year because our office (serious meetings) shared a wall with the city basketball team management (ping pong and beyonce). perhaps some bad roller coasters. camaraderie. breathless wonder. doesn't that sound alluring??? I can't get too excited otherwise I'll start writing it for real
28. Does anyone read your fics before you post them? If so, who?
welllllll if you're asking...
anyway I do have beta readers, three of them in fact! they are all some of the most incredible people I have had the fortune to meet through mischief, each incredibly talented and inimitably kind, and it brings me so much joy to get to hang out with them in chat every day. bean on!!
49. What are you currently working on? Share a few lines if you're up for it!
surpriiiise I am currently working on my supernatural detective agency au! it is called detective sagency in my files because I tried to make a joke about how they could use the same acronym. the cornley polytechnic detective 'sagency. it feels in character, like they would put it on their door like that. you know.
Trevor seems pleased to hear this. "That's what we do here," he says, and before Vanessa can interject with a slightly bewildered tell people which animal their initials look like? he adds, "Discover new things. You know." He waves a hand sort of willy-nilly. "Detectives."
+ 43. If you take/write prompts: what's your favourite prompt fic that you've written?
I love how you are obligated to anyway despite knowing the answer. In lieu of prompt fics etc, I will mention one of my favourite things that could have been a prompt but isn't - it was suggested in a private chats and expanded upon to a point where it basically became a little chatfic. It's an au of Lookout 3 (really inception-ing the AUs haha) in which Paul is not dead, the Penguin lands in Bethsbridge to wait out a storm and the crew embroil themselves in a cultish murder mystery, and Paul and John get to do the spiderman pointing meme at each other. I will probably never write it, so if you ever want a full elaboration / the entire sparknotes plot, I will be happy to oblige :)
