Abstract art presents us with shapes, cores, and textures. It is not a figurative representation of reality but expresses the artist's emotion toward the world.

ŻABA ✷ FROG ✷ (Ranidae) ✷ "Przed wschodem słońca łapali trzy jednakowe żabki (liczby magiczne), a następnie wsadzali je żywe do mrowiska na sześć tygodni. Po tym czasie zbierali pozostałe kosteczki, tłukli je na proszek, wsypywali do jakiegoś trunku i podawali wybranej osobie, która oczywiście nie wiedziała co pije. Skutek był natychmiastowy: ofiara czarów myślała tylko o tym, kto przyrządził ów napój, tęskniła, w końcu się zakochiwała." ✷ "Before sunrise, they would catch three identical little frogs (magic numbers), and then put them alive into an anthill for six weeks. After this time, they would collect the remaining little bones, crush them into powder, sprinkle them into a drink, and give it to the chosen person, who of course did not know what they were drinking. The effect was immediate: the victim of the spell would only think about the person who had prepared the drink, they would yearn for them, and eventually fall in love." ✷ From "Góralskie czary. Leksykon Magii Podtatrza i Beskidów Zachodnich" by Katarzyna Ceklarz i Urszula Janicka-Krzywda. published by Tatrzański Park Narodowy ✷

Barnabus lived in a secret lab. He was half mouse and half elephant, and he had lived in the lab as long as he could remember.
