75 Soft-Challenge 🍁
Daily rules for the next 75 days:
Drink 3 Liters of water
Read 10 pages of any book
Move your body for 45 minutes
Follow a healthy diet
Other rules:
Alcohol only on social occasions
1 cheatmeal a week
This challenge is the "softer" version of the 75 Hard challenge.
Starting weight: 72,3 kg / 159 lbs
The last few months I have been working on building better habits. I've been working out on my crosstrainer/going for walks 4-5 times a week and I've been eating better during the challenge me and my boyfriend agreed on. Since then, the sodas and snacks have found their way back into our household, so that's been a little disappointing.
My healthy diet will basically be that I try to cook as many meals as possible myself (no fast food or frozen pizzas etc.), and I try to always include a variety of vegetables and stay away from things like heavy cream, milk or butter. I will also only drink water (and my morning coffee) or tea, no more sodas or sugary iced teas. And snacks like chocolate, chips or gummy bears are also only allowed as the weekly cheatmeal.
For my daily 45 minute movement/exercise I will either go for a walk, use my crosstrainer/elliptical or do at home workouts (Ringfit Adventure on the Nintendo Switch has been a fun way to workout for me!).
I've started the challenge yesterday, on October 1st. The end of the challenge will be in the middle of December. I'm very excited to go into these colder and cozy months with the plan to be the best version of myself before the year is over! 🍂✨

So apparently now it is super cool to trash "almond people" for.... discipline and consistency.
I tell you what, if there is ever anything that you want to do, there are a plethora of people who will give you shit for it.
Do your thing anyway!
You want to run a turkey trot for Thanksgiving? Do it! Workout before vacation? Do it. Pack snacks? Yaaaassss. Bring a water, yaaasssss queen, stay hydrated!
Who cares? It is your life, you gotta live how you wanna live baby
You know what I won't be doing this year? Backsliding into old shitty habits because some fuckwad on the tikky tok decided it was cool to roast consistency. I am going to continue feeling good, so that when life happens, I will be ready to rock whatever needs to be rocked.
I will be getting my sleep. I will be hydrated. I will do my turkey trot and fucking enjoy the time with my family, dammit. I deserve that.

Whoops accidentally took a few weeks hiatus but we are back at it!
I'm guessing I ran around 1-2 miles. I ran farther and faster too! I also walked around 8 miles.
I ended my walk around a cemetery, so I ended up extending my walk and praying a rosary for the dead and those in purgatory. It's honestly one of my favorite things to do if I have time and I'm grateful to live near such a nice cemetery.
I feel great and I'm glad the sun is setting later so I can exercise easier when I'm off work!

Honestly dungeon meshi fans were not kidding when they say that the show helps them have a better relationship with food... the recent episodes with izutsumi have encouraged me to start adding more vegetables to my meals (or at least not pick them out from dishes...)

You do not have to own the nicest gym clothes, the tastiest protein powder, or the most energetic pre-workout to lose weight.
Simply working out and being consistent will do it! Don't get discouraged because you see people online wearing/using a brand you can't afford.
You are enough.

5k on treadmill with a Flo Rida playlist. This dude, so motivating!
Some dogs walks
Worked late & watched Mom's TV with her afterwards. Talked on the phone to my friend at work.
Slept shitty. But I am up and tackling the day.... am considering some different things to do today.... treadmill mileage challenge? Might be a good day for that. Rainy here so maybe I could have treadmill breaks. Idk we will see.

Showing off my closed rings for October and November because I'm so proud of myself for being this consistent with moving my body ❤️‍🔥
⚖️ : My weight has stayed the exact same as last week. I'm pretty happy about it considering I didn't eat very well. I had a hot chocolate with whipped cream every single day, as well as some treats here and there, and not just on my "cheat meal". I don't know why I've been slacking with my diet lately... But I've decided that the remaining days until day 75 will have no more cheat days. I want to see results! 🤞🏻✨
🚰 : The 3 liters of water is still very dependent on the day. Some days I don’t mind it at all, other days I have to chug half a liter before bed.
🏃🏻‍♀️ : I’ve been continuing on varying my workouts, and even took a stroll through the snow which I really enjoyed. In general I'm getting in the Christmas mood way more this year! 🎄
🍓 : I have to cut out the snacking. On top of drinking the hot chocolates, I also ate almost an entire thing of Nutella, which is 250g... I wanted to buy it for breakfast on Sunday, but just knowing that we had it in the house made me crave it sooo much all the time. Gotta tell my boyfriend to hide the rest of that from me until the challenge is over 🤷🏻‍♀️
📖 : The German version of "Iron Flame" is finally out!! So excited to read it, even though I want to pace myself, so I only want to read one or two chapters every night. But I'm super excited ✨

think michael was chubby like his dad, maybe a couple less pounds (but really it's negligible. think he got some of the beanpole genes from his mom tho). and i don't think it came across well in my timeline but he Was supposed to look a bit heavier. of course a lot of that weight is lost due to the whole Being A Zombie and Having Your Insides Hollowed Out thing
