NO MARE'S LAND

MLP AU Part One - Rarity (Generosity)

Pre-Conflict. (Gorgeous, Unscathed, Confident.) STATUS: Alive and Well.

(SCAR/WAR/DEATH MENTIONS AND IMAGERY UNDER CUT)

During the War. (Ashamed of what she became. Covers herself with a cloak. Damaged, short hair.) STATUS: Alive.

No Cloak. (Covered in Scars. Broken Horn. "Leave me Alone! Don't look at me!") STATUS: Alive.

Rarity was captured by Celestia when Twilight confronted her. She's forced to roam the wasteland and dispose of any bodies left from Celestia's cruel attack on ponykind. Celestia snapped her horn to limit her magic use and sent her out into the world.

Rarity uses acid to disintegrate the corpses, and as a result, is covered in burns and scars. Her mane is short and ragged, the ends of her hair singed and damaged. Her hooves, now cracked and dull, show heavy signs of wear. Her eyes reddened from the constant chemical exposure. She wears an old cloak to hide her identity and now disfigured body, the only remnant from her seamstress past.

Rarity's had to become selfish and mean to survive in her new environment. She reports back to Celestia once every two weeks with news about the land before she's sent out again. She's given the bare minimum when it comes to food, but she knows it's better than nothing. More than once has she felt the urge to give her few morsels of food to the starving ponies she's met, but she knew that Celestia keeps a close eye on her. If she were to disobey Celestia's command... who knows what would happen to her.

Rarity keeps her head down and her mouth shut.
