I thought this would be sparse & monotonous… but I found myself absolutely furious! Enraged in the middle of it. I didn’t plan it. It just happened. And because that happened, I decided to add a tiny amount of the bliss Lestat must’ve felt when on stage with the Commedia del Arte troupe he ran away with at 16… before returning to this deadly Sisyphusean existence…

Gosh... at first I thought - @toriangeli’s exquisite Rockstar Lestat isn't so apt for this improvisation in fact... but perhaps he is... as how happy would young-Lestat be to know of his existence? Or perhaps he'd be horrified by this futuristic monster?

You know when Lestat says his running away without telling Gabrielle and it being the first time he’d truly upset her… and after that, she touches his shoulder (a gesture so remarkable to 16-year-old Lestat! How starved of touch must he have been his whole life?!) And Gabrielle makes more of an effort to talk to Lestat for a while, though it is not natural to her to do so…

Well, how much of this is due to her love towards Lestat? How much is due to a sudden terror in her - that Lestat might leave her. Leave her there alone? How much is for herself - to keep him close..?

Why do you think Gabrielle makes more of an effort with Lestat after he runs away with the theatre troupe? More for Lestat or more for herself?

Also, WHY YES, I never knew how to highlight “the important”! Every word is important, surely?! That’s why I am not a words person & generally dude sciencey & music-y things where words are needed less.

Did a bit of research on commedia del arte and I think he’d be called Brighella. Brighella was mean, cunning and murderous and had to no loyalty to anyone. Lilia’s sort of like that. Also I don’t really know much about this so just tell me if you have any better ideas about this.

In terms of power he’d probably take scaramouche’s place. And I’m confused about the rankings. Some say Pierro is the leader so he’s not a part of it? And that Capitano is #1??
