It was still dark outside but it usually was when she first got to work. The early morning shift was her favorite to work. Opening the coffee shop at six in the morning alone was her favorite part of the day. The sunrise always managed to shine through the windows. The pink and blue hues were breathtaking.
It was usually quiet in the mornings, for the first hour and a half she would see maybe eight customers total. After eight in the morning, she would see thirty customers in an hour. But the first two hours she would be alone and she preferred it that way.
The eight customers that would come in at that time were all the same, always on the walk towards their jobs. Specifically one guy who would always walk in few minutes after they opened. He showed up nearly every day that he was in town, always got a basic coffee he could probably make in his apartment but the fifteen dollar tip was enough to not question it.
The playlist she put on was catered to her own music taste, her co-worker that usually shows up at eight changes it to the usuall coffee shop eroma.
She poured the espresso shots into the iced plastic cup in front of her. She finished her latte with whole milk and carmel syrup. The small set of chims near the door rang and she spun around to see her regular Jack walking inside. His head covered in a black beanie and his usual long black coat.
“Good morning Jack,” she said with a soft smile on her lips. He grinned widely as he glanced behind him before he walked up to the register.
“Morning, Y/N,” he said as he looked up towards the menu pretending to search for something else to order. He always got the same drink.
“The usual?” she asked as she started tapping on the Ipad. The chims went off as another man walked into the shop. She lifted her gaze and her heart jumped into her throat.
“Yeah and whatever my little brother is gonna get,” Jack expressed, looking behind him to see his little brother entering the shop.
She met his eyes, they were tired as it was not for the weak to be out on the town this early. His lips curled upward as he met her gaze. His curly hair was hidden by a backwards hat. He walked up towards the counter and it was getting harder and harder to breathe for her.
“Lukey, this is Y/N,” Jack said, pulling her attention back towards him. Swallowing hard, she realized that she needed to breathe because she was not sure if she was actually doing it or not. Luke nodded as he pressed his lips together as he looked up towards the menu.
Y/N scanned his features, he was tall and the soft smile on his lips was intoxicating. It was too early in the morning for her to feel dizzy. Her gaze looked down towards the Ipad, trying not to stare at him too long.
“Do you have anything that’s not coffee?” Luke asked shyly. Jack chuckled while rolling his eyes, he crossed his arms over his chest.
She fought off a smirk forming to her lips, she glanced behind her towards the menu. “We have hot chocolate,” she mumbled. Luke’s smile widened. He squinted his eyes for a moment.
“I guess I’ll take a hot chocolate,” he said as he dragged his hand across his chin. Jack rolled his eyes as he handed Y/N his card. She finished putting in their orders and she completed the order. She spun the Ipad for the tip screen as she walked away from it to start making their drinks.
“Fucking, really?” Jack teased as he shoved Luke away. Luke chuckled as he shook his head.
“I don’t drink coffee, asshole,” Luke muttered as they both stood awkwardly in the center of the shop. Y/N smiled to herself as she began to pour the coffee into the to go cup. After another minute Jack’s coffee was done and so was Luke’s hot chocolate.
She placed the cups onto the counter, “How long are you visiting Jack?” she asked softly as she looked up and met Luke’s gaze. Luke’s cheeks flushed red as he glanced towards Jack.
“He’s playing his first game with the Devils in a few days,” Jack said proudly. Her eyes widened as she met Jack’s gaze for a moment before she looked back towards Luke.
“That’s awesome, I forget this hockey thing is a family thing,” she let out shortly as she tried to find the words. The boys chuckled, Luke brought his hot chocolate towards his lips and took a small sip.
“You should watch it,” Jack teased as he patted his hand against Luke’s shoulder. Luke turned his head and met her gaze, he smiled softly as he dropped his gaze towards the floor.
“I’ll think about it,” she mumbled as she watched the pair leave the coffee shop. Spinning around, she leaned against the counter, widening her eyes. “Oh my god,” she muttered barely above a whisper.
~~~
She returned to her on-campus apartment after shift. Her twin brother and roommate Ashton was sitting on the couch with his computer in his lap. Glancing towards her, he didn’t say anything beside waving towards her. He leaned forward mouthing something he was reading.
She pulled her coat from her frame and hung it near the front door. Stepping further into the apartment, Ashton glanced towards her. He took note of the smile on her face. It was always hit or miss on her mood after coming home from work. But she never had a smile on her face paired with silence. Usually she steps into the apartment and starts talking instantly.
There was a soft hum falling from her lips as she headed towards her bedroom. Ashton placed his computer beside him as he followed towards her suspiciously. She stood in her room humming a song as she was collecting a new outfit to change into after her shower. Ashton stood in the doorway watching her.
“What’s wrong with you?” he asked. Turning around, she jumped.
“Damn, Ash, you can’t just sneak up to someone like that,” she said while shaking her head. Raising her hands up she took a hold of her hair and pulled it from the updo she had.
“Why are you smiling like that?” he pressed as he continued to scan her features. She shook her head as she fought off a grin. “You’re face is doing something weird,” he pointed his finger towards her face. She smacked his hand away from her face as she let out a chuckle. She took in a deep breath as she rolled her eyes. His eyes widened as his mouth fell open, “Oh,” he let out knowingly.
“Oh, what?” she asked while crossing her arms over her chest, the grin still toying to her lips.
He nodded as he started walking backwards slowly, “No, I get it,” he said omniously.
“What?” she let out, a chuckle leaving her throat.
“Did you meet someone interesting today?” Ashton teased as he was still stepping backwards.
“Please leave,” she said as she giggled. Ashton threw his head back leaving as he headed down the hall towards the living room. Y/N shut the door as she turned around taking in a shaky breath.
She pulled her phone from her pocket to look up his Instagram, if it was public what was the harm in that? Jack followed her on Instagram, which was not entirely strange as she has her own social media presence. She was a popular Tiktoker that had a decent following on Instagram too. So his fans did not find it weird that he was following her.
She opened Luke’s Instagram and smiled towards the most recent photo set. It was his goodbye to UMich, she smiled to herself as she continued to look through the photo set.
A few days later, she was sitting in the living room with her brother and his friends watching the Devils game. Usually, she would only sit in if the game was a playoff game. Her brother was more into football until he met his college friends. They all would come over to watch the games. Which was nearly every night.
She sat on the floor, a blanket practically submerging her frame. Her brother and his four friends were tipsy and the game hadn’t even started yet. Despite it being a Tuesday, they felt that it was important for them to drink.
Ashton knew that Jack was a regular at Y/N’s job and he always teased her about him. But she always brushed it off because she didn’t see him like that. But Luke on the other hand, she has not stopped thinking about him since she met him the other morning.
“Y/N, any reason you’re joining us tonight?” Ashton teased as he pulled the blanket from her head. She huffed as she took a hold of it and covered her head again.
“Got nothing better to do,” she mumbled.
“You sure it’s got nothing to do with-”
“Ashton,” she scolded as she smacked his shoulder. The boys erupted in ooooohs and she sunk deeper into the blanket.
“What about that regular of yours?” Ashton further teased as he stood up from the floor to avoid getting hit again. The boys started yelling again as the first period was starting for the Devils.
“Ash, let it go!” she let out while laughing.
“Jack Hughes is a regular at her coffee shop,” he let out as he ran away towards the kitchen, for protection.
“Shut the fuck up!” Ashton’s best friend Logan said loudly. The boys all cheered as if a goal was just scored.
Y/N planted her face into her hands, her face flushing. She lifted her head towards the screen to see the broadcast showing Luke on the bench. She dropped her gaze back into her hands.
“If I tell you, will you leave it alone?” she said as her face was still in her hands. They all cheer loudly together. Ashton jogged back towards the couch and sat on the floor beside his sister. She took in a deep breath as she tilted her head back. “I met Luke Hughes, that’s all,” she let out barely above a whisper. They erupted in oooohs again and she sunk her head into her hands. “That’s all, I swear!” she mumbled against her hands.
“I fucking knew it,” Ashton said as tapped his hand against her shoulder.
“Can we just watch the game?” she questioned pointing towards the screen, just at the point when Luke appeared on the screen. They all started laughing.
“This is going to be fun,” Ashton teased.
She did not see Luke or Jack for several months after that. It was playoffs and Luke most likely went back to Michigan since he was not eligible to play. The last playoff run, Jack didn’t come into the coffee shop once. It was probably because he was sleeping in to get as much rest as possible.
But she was in a new school year, with the same hours. She would work from six in the morning to noon and have afternoon classes after that. She was always busy but it was better than over thinking.
For the first time in months, the chims went off and she spun around to see Jack and Luke trailing behind him. She clenched her jaw to avoid showing a wide toothy grin. A little crush was not going to get in the way of her favorite regular. Jack was always super kind and an amazing way to start the day. She refused to let her little crush on his little brother change that.
Until he smiled a sleepy grin towards her. Suddenly her plan backfired and she grinned towards them.
“Welcome back boys,” she muttered while walking towards the register. Forcing her gaze towards Jack, she saw a smirk on his lips. Ignoring it, she started typing in Jack’s usual.
“How have you you been?” Jack asked crossing his arms over his chest. She lifted her gaze, not really used to being asked that question.
“I’ve been good, I worked doubles all summer so I’m happy to be back on my normal schedule,” she explained glancing towards Luke. He hasn’t wavered his gaze from the moment he stepped into the shop. Jack nodded while glancing towards Luke, he rolled his eyes playfully.
“You gonna order or just stare at her?” Jack teased as he punched Luke’s arm. Luke chuckled as he rubbed the spot Jack hit. She pursed her lips forward as she met Luke’s gaze for the third time in a matter of two minutes.
“Right, yeah, I’ll take a-” he trailed off as his eyes scanned the menu, “Lemonade,” he mumbled. Jack rolled his eyes while pulling out his wallet.
She grinned as she typed it into the Ipad before she spun it towards Jack, a new pay system was put into place over the summer.
“So, is this a new thing? You’re here for good?” she asked as she started pouring Jack’s coffee.
“Hopefully, got to make it through training camp and pre-season,” Luke explained while crossing his arms over his chest.
“He will,” Jack offered as he continued to nudge and lightly shove Luke. She thought it was for the best to ignore them and stay in her bubble. She set aside Jack’s drink before she started to pour out Luke’s lemonade.
“That’s good, I’ll keep an eye on the games,” she expressed as she added a lid to the lemonade.
She took a hold of the drinks and spun around to hand the drinks towards the boys. She handed Jack his drink first, since it was burning her hand. Jack smiled gratefully towards her as he immediately brought it towards his mouth. Meeting Luke’s gaze she handed him the drink, their fingertips brushed against each other’s skin for a moment. Pressing her lips together, she quickly brought her hands towards herself.
“Maybe you should come to one of them,” Luke offered, it was obvious the words fell out of his mouth faster than he intended. Maybe the words left his mouth when he didn’t want them to. Jack brought the drink towards his lips, glancing towards Luke for a moment before looking back towards Y/N.
“Yeah, I’d like that,” she mumbled as she met his gaze. Their eyes remained connected for a few seconds before Jack let out a long drawn out breath.
“This is the part where you give her your number,” Jack mumbled before stepping away from them, chuckling. Luke clenched his jaw as he fought the grin forming to his lips. His cheeks pinked up as he shook his head slightly.
“I was getting there,” he let out while laughing. He glanced behind him to see Jack wandering towards the door. She let out a giggle as she pulled her phone from her pocket.
“Seriously, Y/N, he hasn’t stopped asking about you,”
‘Jack,” he let out while he took a hold of her phone to type his number into her phone. She smiled towards Luke as he handed her phone back towards her. She quickly typed a simply hi before she slipped it back into her pocket. “I’ll see you,” he muttered before he stumbled away towards Jack. He shoved him out of the door.
“You’re a real dick, you know that?” she heard Luke say as they both left the shop at the same time.
She spun around, leaning against the counter and shut her eyes. Raising her hand up, she delicately tapped her skin against her cheek to feel heat practically radiating from her skin. “Oh my god,” she mumbled.
It didn’t take long for the shop to get busy after the boys left. In the middle of a rush, her work best friend, Tommy, jogged inside. Usually, it was busy when Tommy got there but not nearly a line out the door busy. He always blamed it on the back to school students in dire need of a coffee.
“Girl, how are you alive?” Tommy said as he took a plastic cup and read the ingredients before he started making the drink.
“I’m running on pure adrenaline,” she expressed as she began to steam some milk.
“Oh it’s Semptember, let me guess-” he mumbled. She swated his hand as she began to finish the drink, “Oh definitely the pretty boys,” he let out teasingly.
“Later,” she mumbled with a giggle leaving her lips.
After thirty minutes the line finally died down and there was no one waiting on a drink. The shop was full to the brim of people with laptops and enjoying a drink. She was cleaning the counters while Tommy was also cleaning a few of the machines. It was a disaster.
Tommy brought his iced coffee towards his lips as he leaned against the counter, slowly wiping it. She fought the grin forming to her lips as she stared towards the coffee grounds spilled in front of her.
“Okay fine,” she muttered as she lifted her gaze to meet Tommy’s. She pulled her phone from her back pocket and held it up to show the unread message from Luke. He leaned towards it and read it. Widening his eyes, his mouth fell open.
“No way,” he let out. She spun the phone back towards herself to read the hey he replied with. She grinned as she shut the screen off.
She went into detail about what happened, excruciating details about how he looked at her, how his cheeks flushed red. Tommy was obsessed with it because every shift he would walk in and expect her to have some information about it but she had none. She was a little miserable about not seeing him.
It was a little embarrassing how often they were chatting and a customer was waiting, but the little five minute encounter was on replay until she left. She texted with him a few times throughout the morning but she could only do so much while she was working.
Tonight she was going to the game with Ashton and Tommy. It was the first preseason game in October. Since Luke did not play a home game during September, and she only wanted to go to see him.
Every morning that Jack and Luke were in town they would stop inside the coffee shop. Luke would stick around for a while waiting for the next set of customers to come in. Jack would get his coffee and leave. She would spent an hour trying to convince him to try a sip of her coffee but he would still refuse. Her mornings felt lonely without him but he always kept her entertained when he was there.
Her brother was driving the three of them towards the arena, dealing with awful traffic the whole way there. She was annoyed that he wanted to leave two hours before puck drop but apparently he was right. It was awful when Ashton was right because he never let her live it down.
“I cannot believe we are going to this game because of you,” Ashton said while he watched the light turn green, except they didn’t move. “You better let me meet the guy at least,” he begged quietly.
She rolled her eyes as she glanced towards Tommy for a moment before she looked out of the window watching the rain hit the window. “Maybe,” she mumbled. Her phone vibrated in her pocket. Pulling it out she saw a text from Luke saying, Stick around after the game, I wanna see you. Nico will stick around too so your brother can meet him. She lifted her gaze glancing towards her brother before she quickly typed an excited reply.
It took nearly another hour before they were parked in the arena. Luke was able to get them lower bowl seats on center ice. He didn’t want them close to the glass, felt like too much pressure; even if it was just preseason.
The seats were starting to get full by the time they arrived, the game was starting soon. They found their seats and Ashton was starting to fan girl. “Do you think we can sit here during the regular season? This is awesome,” Ashton let out as he was adjusting the Hischer jersey on his frame. Tommy sat down, shoving a handful of popcorn into his mouth.
She sat in the middle of them, awkwardly glancing around the arena. She’s been to a few games when she was a kid but now it felt completely different. Especially since she was told to stay after the game and he’ll meet up with her after. He even offered that her brother and Tommy could stick around too. She didn’t tell them that. She wanted it to be a surprise for Ashton, Tommy could care less. He was just along for the ride.
The team emerged onto the ice and puck drop started. Even for a preseason game the fans were ecstatic for the whole night. Suddenly it became obvious that she was obsessed with the game. It helped that she had someone to search for the whole night.
Her brother would explain the game to her and Tommy but they were still confused. Tommy was just enjoying the snacks the whole time. Ashton was screaming for every goal, high fiving every person around them. The entire game she was following Luke’s movements because he was the reason she was there afterall.
After the game, both Ashton and Tommy stood up to get ready to leave but she remained seated. Ashton looked down and furrowed his eyebrows. “Get your ass up, let’s go,” Ashton said while waving his hands. She shook her head while staring ahead, a grin toying to her lips. “Come on, dude, I’m tired,” he whined.
“Too tired to meet the captain?” she teased. His mouth fell open as he immediately sat back down. Tommy chuckled as he sat back down, bringing his seltzer towards his lips.
“Do I get to meet Luke?” Tommy asked as he leaned towards her, raising his eyebrows. She nodded.
Luke texted her letting her know that he was having someone come and grab them. It took another ten minutes before a security guard walked towards them asking to see her ID. She showed it to him and he guided them towards the lower level to meet up with the boys.
The entire walk down towards the parking garage where the players exited the locker room to, Ashton was talking about how he was going to introduce himself to Nico. Y/N had to calm him down multiple times on their journey down there.
Luke, Jack, and Nico were waiting outside the door. They were all wearing matching t-shirts and shorts while laughing. Luke was the first one to look towards the three of them walking towards them. He smiled widely and led the charge towards them. He walked up to her and hugged her instantly. Her entire body erupted in flames as he engulfed her in a hug. Jack punched his hand against Nico’s arm as he was teasing Luke behind his back.
“Um- Luke, this is my brother Ashton and my friend Tommy,” she said as Luke reluctantly pulled away from her. Luke reached his hand out towards Ashton first. Ashton shyly took a hold of it, all of his talk about what he was going to say to them disappeared. Luke shook his hand before he shifted his gaze towards Tommy, holding out his hand for him.
Tommy furrowed his eyebrows as he scanned Luke’s features before he shook his hand. Jack jumped in front of Luke to introduce himself to Ashton and Tommy with Nico.
“Ashton, nice to meet you man, Y/N over heard Nico say as Luke took a hold of her hand and guided her way from the group for a moment. Lifting her gaze she met his eye and smiled softly.
“Did you enjoy the game?” he asked softly as he scanned her features. His cheeks were flushed red as he was pressing his lips together. She nodded while looking into his eyes.
“It was fun, thank you for letting me bring them,” she mumbled as she glanced towards Ashton and Tommy. Tommy was talking with Jack, laughing as they spoke. Ashton was still fangirling with Nico, taking a selfie as they looked over to them.
“Of course,” he mumbled.
~~~
It had been a month since they started dating back at the end of October. Luke was returning home from a roadtrip and she was over the moon. She was tired of waiting for him to call on FaceTime and fall asleep minutes later, she needed to see him.
She was starting to fall for him deeply, something she didn’t want to do. She’s been afraid of falling in love for years but something about Luke made it easy. He was on his way over to her apartment and she was awaiting him.
Ashton walked out of his bedroom and smiled towards her as he walked towards the kitchen, “I’m ordering a pizza, will your boyfriend want any?” he asked.
“Yes please,” she sing-songed.
“Okay, so I’ll order three pizzas,” he said teasingly. She rolled her eyes. He chuckled as he pulled his phone towards his ear and started to make the order. He opened the fridge and stared inside as he waited for it to ring.
It took another fifteen minutes before there was a loud knock on the door. Ashton stood up from the stool he was sitting in near the kitchen. He wandered towards the door, with some specific intentions. She could tell by the dramatics he did while pulling the door open.
Luke’s eyes widened when he saw Ashton instead of Y/N but he forced a smile on his face while he stepped inside.
“Hey man,”
“Ordered a pizza,” Ashton said as he looked Luke up and down as Luke stepped inside.
She jumped up from the couch and walked towards him, watching his grin go from fearful to genuine in a matter of a second. Luke reached his hand around her waist, pulling her towards him.
“Come on,” she whispered as she guided him towards her bedroom. Ashton stood in the room, staring suspiciously. They walked down the hallway, “Sorry,” she mumbled towards him. He chuckled softly as they stepped into her room together. She shut the door behind him as she met his gaze.
“Missed you,” he mumbled as he took a hold of her waist. A wide toothy grin formed to her lips as she took small steps behind her towards her bed. Her legs hit the mattress before she turned around and laid down. Luke looked down towards her, grinning before he climbed over her to lay beside her. “I heard there was pizza on the way?” he asked as he laid facing her.
Turning her gaze, she met his eye before she leaned towards him, delicately kissing him.
“I’ve missed you too,” she muttered against his lips. A hum fell from his lips while he took a hold of her cheek. Rubbing his thumb across her skin, he watched her eyes shut slowly. Luke leaned towards her, pressing his lips against hers. Waiting for her to part her lips to give him access.
Parting her lips, he slipped his tongue into hers as she glided her fingers through his hair. Climbing on top of her, he rested his hands on either side of her head.
After a few seconds, there was a loud knock against her door. Luke pulled away, interlocking his fingers as he leaned on his elbow to prop himself up.
“What,” she let out, Ashton pushed the door open, leaning against the door frame.
He stared towards them for a few long awkward seconds before he let out slowly, “Luke Hughes,”
Chuckling softly, “Ashton Y/L/N,” he said as he fought a grin forming to his lips.
“You travel a lot for work, don’t yeah?” Ashton started as he crossed his arms over his chest.
Dropping his head, he let out another laugh, “Yes I do.”
“You behaving?” Ashton said while raising his eyebrows.
“Ashton,” she scolded.
“Serious question, Y/N. You must have a lot of groupies being a Hughes boy,” he let out taking a step into the room.
“Ashton, you’ve got nothing to worry about,” he let out as he shifted his gaze towards her. She met his gaze, suddenly self conscious of what Ashton was talking about.
“Don’t you have a pizza to go pick up?” she mumbled while looking towards Ashton wide eyed. Ashton met her gaze and scanned her features for a moment before he squinted his eyes suspiciously.
“Don’t fuck this up and make me hate the Devils, alright?” he let out before he left the room, shutting hte door in the process.
Luke looked towards her as she let out a nervous laugh, she shoved her face into her pillow. He chuckled as he took a hold of her waist, trying to make her lift her gaze to meet his eye. “You know, I mean that right? Nothing to worry about, I literally live in that hotel bed sleeping most of the time I’m gone,”
She lifted her gaze and looked into his eye and nodded. “Yeah,” she mumbled as he took a hold of her cheek, running his thumb across her skin.
“Yeah?” he let out, somewhat teasingly.
“Yeah,” she whispered. He smirked before he leaned towards her kissing her delicately. He leaned his forehead against hers for a second, “I mean you do have a lot of groupies,” she teased.
“Yeah, but you’re my favorite,” he muttered, fighting a smirk forming to his lips. Her mouth fell open as her eyes widened. Pulling away, a chuckle fell from her lips. Luke took a hold of the small of her back, pulling her back towards him. He shook his head slightly before leaning towards her devouring her lips.
“I am not a groupie,” she muttered as she climbed onto his lap. His hands started gliding up and down the backs of her thighs. She continued to kiss him urgently. He hummed against her lips as she tilted her head back, scanning his features.
“Still my favorite,” he muttered as he slowly opened his eyes. She squinted her eyes as she fought the smirk toying on her lips. His hands climbed higher and higher up her frame.
She slowly climbed off of his frame, a pout falling on his lips as she wandered towards the door. She twisted the lock before she walked towards him. He bit his bottom lip as he scanned her features.
“What are you thinking?” he asked her as propped himself up on his elbows. She shook her head slightly as she slowly climbed onto his lap again. He rested his hands onto her hips. He rubbed his hands delicately against the fabric of her shirt.
“I’m thinking-” she trailed off before she leaned down and kissed him.
Loud bangs hit against her door again, “Pizza’s here!” Ashton shouted through the door. She sat up staring down towards Luke, a huff leaving his lips.
“I thought he ordered it for pickup,” she muttered as she climbed off of his lap, he chuckled. Falling onto her back, a pout fell to her lips.
“It’s alright, my love,” he let out as he slowly stood up from the bed. Waiting for her to follow him, she still laid in protest. Holding out his hand towards her, she reluctantly took a hold of it.

The following morning, Tommy showed up at the same time as the new trainee Brianna. Today was her second shift with Tommy and Y/N. Tommy adored Brianna while Y/N was still warming up to her. It was always overstimulating for her to train someone and Tommy knew that first hand. Which is why he was taking point on the process.
“You are so tense today, I thought Luke came over last night,” Tommy teased as he nudged his elbow against her arm. She rolled her eyes playfully while she vigorously cleaned the machine in front of her. “Oh damn, what happened?”
“We didn’t-” she trialed off as she let out a huff of air.
“Still?” he let out loudly. She turned around, glaring towards him. He chuckled as he glanced towards Brianna. It was obvious she was listening in. “Brianna, if you’re going to be working with us, you’ll need to get in on this,” he said, pulling her towards the conversation.
“Tom,” Y/N scolded while laughing. “She doesn’t need to know about my sex life,”
“What else do we talk about when we’re here?!” he let out while laughing. “Her and her boyfriend haven’t had sex yet,” he let out.
“Oh my god,” she mumbled while she covered her face with her hands. Brianna’s eyes lit up as she glanced towards Y/N.
“They’ve been together for a month and nothing,” he said while leaning towards Brianna.
“Okay, Tommy when was the last time you had sex?” she deflected while chuckling.
“Last night, thank you,” he let out confidently. Both Brianna and Y/N eyes widened as their mouths fell open. “But we’re not talking about me, we’re talking about Y/N. What is taking you so long?” he teased.
“Brianna, my boyfriend and I live with our brothers. And they love interrupting us before we get a chance to get anywhere,” she explained.
“Well, is there a Devils game this weekend?” Tommy asked.
“Friday,”
“Okay so see if Luke can get them tickets and then you’ll have an empty apartment,” Tommy said confidently. Y/N squinted her eyes as she stared toward him.
“Really think about that Tom,” she said while fighting a laugh rising in her throat. The chimes rang and they shifted their gaze towards the door. Jack led the charge like he always does with Luke trailing behind him. Brianna stared towards them, her mouth agape.
Y/N smiled widely as she met Luke’s gaze. “Hi, she muttered as she continued to look into his eyes. Brianna shifted her gaze towards Tommy, looking for assistance.
“Oh!” Tommy let out while laughing, he shook his head as he started making Jack’s coffee. “Y/N, take your fifteen,” Tommy expressed. She nodded.
“What are you guys doing here?” she asked as she pointed towards the empty table at the corner of the shop. He nodded as he followed towards her it. They sat down together, he pulled the chair towards him. Resting his hand onto the inside of her thigh as he pulled her closer to him.
“We’ve got a game at three,” he let out. Her eyes widened as she took a hold of his arm.
“Oh my god, that’s right, I forgot I’m sorry,” she mumbled. He shook his head as he pursed his lips forward.
“It’s okay, Jack needed caffeine, he couldn’t nap,” he explained. She nodded as she scanned his features. “His girlfriend is back in town, so he’ll be staying there tonight,” he mumbled, meeting her gaze. She hummed as she met his gaze suspiciously.
“Empty apartment?” she asked teasingly. He nodded.
“Thank god,” she muttered before she leaned towards him, pecking his lips. He chuckled as he glanced towards Jack who was walking towards them.
“Hate to interrupt but we gotta head out Lukey,” Jack muttered as he pursed his lips forward.
“Yeah, I’ll be out in a second,” he said. Jack nodded as he walked out towards the exit. “Will you be at the game?” he questioned. She nodded.
“Ash will drop me off and I’m meeting up with Reanne,” she explained. He smiled before he pecked her lips.
“I’ll see you after then,” he let out while raising his eyebrows as he walked away towards the door. She leaned back into her chair staring towards the door watching them leave.
Brianna still stood dumbfounded at the center of the register. Her gaze shifted towards Y/N, who was walking back towards the counter. “I know way too much about-” she started before she shook her head.
Tommy barked out a laugh before he patted his hand against her back, “The timing of that was insane,” he choked out.

The game ended with a win for the Devils, the first win in three games. Throughout the game, her mind was racing with the idea of what their plan was for later that night. She’s not used to having pressure on having sex with a partner. Usually, it came up naturally or it happened before they even got together. Something about Luke and how he made her feel, she wanted their first time to be perfect.
But now she was just nervous, almost like it was her first time ever. She sat in Luke’s car as he was pulling out of the parking garage, not once bringing up their previously discussed plans. She didn’t know if he wasn’t up for it or didn’t want to put any pressure on her.
“Everyone going good with the other girls?” he asked as they stopped at a red light directly out of the arena. Tilting his head to the side, he met her gaze. She nodded.
“They’ve been super welcoming,” she expressed.
He smiled widely as he reached his hand over, taking a hold of her hand, “Good, I’m glad,” he muttered as he rubbed his thumb across her skin. “Are you hungry?” he asked. She nodded, shifting her gaze towards the traffic in front of her. Furrowing his eyebrows, he took in a sharp breath before pulled his phone from hsi cup holder. He pulled up his Doordash app and handed towards her. Traffic was still taking forever.
“You’re the best,” she mumbled as she happily took a hold of it and started scrolling through the options. He chuckled as he started driving ahead.
The drive took another twenty minutes before they stepped into Luke’s apartment complex and the food she ordered for them was waiting for them to arrive. He happily took a hold of the food and guided her towards the elevator to lead them up to his apartment. He stood with the take out container in his hands, side eyeing her every soft often.
Squinting her eyes, she turned and looked over towards him suspiciously. “Why is your face doing that?” she asked while laughing. He pursed his lips forward as his cheeks turned bright red.
“Nothing,” he muttered as the elevator doors opened to his floor. He stepped out first, holding out his hand towards her. She giggled as she took a hold of it and let him guide her towards his apartment. He stepped up towards the door and unlocked it, pushing inside.
They stepped inside, surprised to see the light on. To their surprise, Jack and his girlfriend were sitting on the couch watching a movie. “Lukey, hey!” Jack said happily as he perked up. Luke clenched his jaw as he rested their take out food on the counter. He protectively wrapped his arm around her waist.
“Hey, thought you guys were going to her place tonight,” Luke asked flatly. Y/N pressed her lips together as she started to take their chinese food out of the bag.
“We changed our minds, traffic would’ve been too bad heading to her place,” he explained as he sat up slightly. Luke nodded silently as he took a hold of the containers and the plastic silverware before he tiled his head to the side. Y/N nodded as she followed him towards his bedroom. He opened the door allowing her to step inside.
She climbed onto the bed, crossing her legs, she rested the container in front of her. Luke twisted the lock before he followed her in pursuit. Luke let out a groan as he flipped open his container.
“I swear,” he muttered before he ripped open his silverware. Y/N chuckled while rolling her eyes.
“At least he’ll be occupied,” she teased. He chuckled as he tilted his head back.
“Yeah hopefully,” he said while laughing.
He pulled up Grey’s Anatomy, the tv show that they watch together. He’s never seen and it and it’s her favorite to watch his reactions to the episodes. They were still only on season two.
They sat silently while they ate and watched the show together, glancing towards one another every so often. His cheeks were flushed red. She could tell their minds were busy but she didn’t mind. She loved just being with him.
“Question,” he asked while tapping his hand against her thigh. She shifted her gaze towards him, her heart pounding out of her chest. “Are you sure you’re okay?”
“Because you’ve got this-” he trailed off as he pointed towards the pout on her lips. Her lips curled upward into a smile. “There’s my girl,” he mumbled, a smirk on his lips.
“I’m sorry,” she whined through her smile, “I am just nervous,” she muttered before she brought a bite of food to her mouth.
“Nervous?” he asked as he scanned her frame. His eyes widened as realization sunk in. “Why?” he asked as he jammed his fork into his food. A smirk toyed to his lips.
She swallowed her food before pursing her lips forward, “I just feel pressured to make this happen,” she explained motioning between them. He furrowed his eyebrows as he placed his food beside him. He scooted towards her.
“From me?” his voice got quiet.
“No,” she let out instantly, a chuckle falling from her lips. “From me mostly an-and Tommy but mostly me. I never really cared this much before, feels weird,” she let out, avoiding his gaze.
He smirked as he tilted his head to the side, trying to meet her gaze. “W-Why do you care so much?” he asked barely above a whisper. She pouted as she tilted her head back. His eyes widened as he fought a grin forming to his lips.
“Stop looking at me like that,” she whined.
“It’ll happen when it happens,” he said softly. She rolled her eyes playfully.
“You’re such a dork,” she whispered. He grinned widely.
~~~
His hand was wrapped around her waist tightly, gripping her to his side as they waited for the elevator doors open. His hand started bunching the fabric of her dress in his hands. A giggle fell from her lips as the doors opened, he rested his hands on both of her hips as he guided her out of the elevator. “Luke,” she let out barely above a whisper.
He brushed her hair away from her neck, pressing his lips against her skin for a moment as she began to unlock the door to her apartment. He continued to kiss the skin against her shoulder as she giggled. “Luke.” He pulled away, still resting his hands onto her waist.
She pushed the apartment open and he excitedly pushed them inside. The door shut behind them as he excitedly pushed her against the door. Her eyes widened as she took in a deep breath. Her lips curled upward into a wide grin.
At some point, her heels were kicked off of her feet. She doesn’t remember when or how but she didn’t care.
“I’m so glad Ash is out of town,” she mumbled, looking into his eyes. He took a hold of her waist as he scanned her features.
“Oh me too,” he mumbled before he took a hold of her neck as pulled her towards him, kissing her urgently. She hummed against his lips as she took a hold of the suit jacket covering his frame and pulled him closer. He glided his hands down her frame, he took a hold of her thighs as she jumped up and wrapped her legs around his waist.
Her body erupted into flames as his hands gripped her thighs tightly as he guided her towards her room. Still holding her up, he took a hold of the door and pushed it open. He delicately lowered her body onto her bed, she smiled up towards him as she scooted higher up on the bed.
He bit his bottom lip as he pulled the suit jacket away from his frame, tossing it to the floor. He brought his hands up and unbuttoned the first button before he climbed on top of her. He instantly connected their lips again as she took a hold of the buttons on his shirt, trying to unbutton them.
“My dress,” she mumbled against his lips.
“Is very hot,” he muttered as he started trailing his lips along her jawline, down towards her neck.
“No,” she said while giggling, she took a hold of his cheeks, forcing his gaze on hers. His eyes widened as he grinned slightly. “I mean, can you help me take it off?” she asked softly. He nodded instantly.
Slowly leaning back, she followed in pursuit. Their eyes remained connected the whole time. She slowly climbed off of the bed, standing in front of him. Taking a small step, she faced away from him. Her hair was laid across her back, slowly she took a hold of it and pulled it across her shoulder.
Luke raised his hand up and delicately took a hold of the zipper. Slowly, he glided it down to expose her skin. His fingers were hesitantly gliding along her skin. He took a hold of the straps to push the dress from her body. Her body were covered in goosebumps as took a hold of her waist, slowly turning her around to face him. Her body was still covered by her black lace underwear.
His fingertips glided along the fabric over her underwear. Biting her bottom lip, she took a hold of his shoulders. Her hands glided along the fabric as she met his eye, “Your turn,” she whispered. His eyes lit up as he scanned her frame.
“My turn?” he questioned softly. She hummed as she reached towards the buttons for him. He leaned back on his hands as she leaned towards him, slowly unbuttoning the shirt from his frame. The blush on the apples of his cheeks reddened as his gaze lowered on her frame. The last button popped open, revealing his body. She watched as his ab muscles tensed as the cold air hit his skin.
He sat up slightly, pulling the shirt from his frame; he threw it to the floor. Standing up, he looked down towards her. Pressing his lips together, he began to undo his pants. She fought the smirk toying to her lips. Gliding the pants off of his frame, he kicked them away.
He smirked as he leaned down and wrapped his arms around her waist. Lifting her up and tossing her down on the bed, she giggled as her back hit the mattress. He climbed on top of her, chuckling before he began to kiss her lips urgently only for a moment. His lips began to trail from her jaw towards her neck.
He slowly began to suck against her skin, biting before soothing the skin with his tongue. Her fingertips started tugging his curls as he continued to trail his lips and his hands down her frame. Tilting her head back, she took in a sudden breath. After a few seconds, “Oh my god,” she let out breathlessly.
Smirking against her collarbone, he lifted his gaze to meet her eye. Nodding she arched her back and with one hand he took the clasp of her bra and slipped it from her frame. Swallowing hard his eyes lit up as he took in the way she looked. Leaning towards her, he pressed his lips against hers sensually.
Softly, he pulled her bottom lip into his mouth sucking in slowly before he pulled away.
“You’re so beautiful,” he mumbled as he scanned her features. A soft smile formed to her swollen lips before she leaned towards him kissing him. His hands began to roam her frame, massaging her skin.
She was starting to get more light headed the longer his hands roamed her frame. He looped her lacy underwear with his finger as he slowly started to slide it from her legs. He slipped it to the floor before he took a hold of her thighs. Pulling her towards the edge of the bed. “Lu-” she let out as she giggled.
“Yeah?” he let out with a teasing smirk as he delicately took a hold of her legs to part them. Looking towards her she nodded as she gripped the sheet beside her as her body tingled with excitement. His gaze lingered on her center as he softly grazed his fingertips across her skin.
“You’re such a tease,” She breathed out.
“Oh am I?” he muttered as he climbed up towards her, hovering over her. Looking deeply into her eyes, she nodded as she took a hold of his cheek. Glidng her thumb across his cheek, “I think you just gotta be patient,” he let out slowly. Her eyebrows raised as she pursed her lips forward.
“Patient? I’ve been patient for months,” she teased back. He chuckled before he leaned towards her kissing her urgently for a moment.
“Then you’re good for a little longer,” he mumbled against her lips.
Tilting her head back, she groaned quietly. He leaned towards her devouring her lips, pulling her bottom lip into his mouth again.
Several minutes went by before Luke pulled his lips away from hers. He slowly lowered on her frame trailing wet kisses down her frame.
Dragging his tongue as his lips got lower and lower on her frame. He took a soft hold of thighs as he slowly parted them, a smirk toyed to his lips.
He took his thumb and softly began to rub his thumb against her clit. She took a sudden breath as her grip tightened against the bed sheets. He loved watching her squirm under his touch. A hushed moan left her lips.
He smiled towards her as he took a hold of her thighs as leaned towards her center urgently.
“Oh, fuck,” she muttered as her body was overwhelmed with heat as his tongue flicked against her clit.
He gripped her thighs as he continued, holding her in place. His tongue continued to suck on her clit as his fingers delved into her center.
“Oh my god-oh fuck-” her voice started to get louder.
He could feel her thighs start to clench under his touch. He pulled away from her, climbing up her frame, trailing wet kisses up her body. “Such a tease,” she mumbled as he hummed against her skin.
“So impatient,” he let out before he pressed his lips against hers for a moment.
“Please, I need you,” she muttered as she looked into his eyes.
He pressed his lips against hers sloppily for another second before he stood up from her to slip his boxers from his frame. Her eyes widened as smirked towards him.
He took a hold of his cock and slowly ran his hand up and down it a few times before he took a hold of her thigh. He further parted her legs, aligning himself with her center. He glanced towards her.
Hw pushed inside of her, a low grunt leaving his lips.
Slowly, thrusted inside of her a few times before he climbed on top of her. A breathy moan left her lips as he hiked her thigh up slowly as he continued to thrust into her. “Fuck,” he mumbled against her lips.
Her breathing was heavy as her hands glided through his curls, tugging them.
“So good baby,” he mumbled against her lips before he started to leave wet kisses against her neck as moans left both of their lips as they were both chasing their climax. “Fuck, baby,”
Her entire body tightened as she tilted her head back, a moan left her body as she fingertips dug into his back. He soon followed in pursuit, meeting his own climax. He grunted as he gripped her thigh tightly as they both started breathing heavily. It was as if everything was right in the world at that moment.
Just them, this close and completely falling in love.
He peppered kisses against her skin as he slowly pulled away from her. He laid onto his back as she rolled onto her side to face him.
Glancing towards her, he bit his bottom lip as he fought a grin forming to his lips. He reached over towards her, pulling her towards him to lay onto his chest. Resting her head onto his chest, “Wow,” she mumbled. He chuckled as he leaned down and pressed his lips against her head.
“So beautiful,” he mumbled as he glided his hand through her hair.
~~~
The following day, she couldn’t wipe the smile off of her face. The entire morning while she was at work, her entire body was oozing with joy. There was no one in the shop when Tommy showed up. Spinning around, she smiled towards him as he walked inside. He furrowed his eyebrows harshly as he walked towards the counter.
Y/N slid over the iced coffee she made for him. He pursed his lips forward as he took a hold of the drink. He sipped it for a second before he walked behind the counter.
“What is wrong with your face?” he asked as he scanned her features. Her eyes widened as she shook her head slightly. “Oh my god!” he expressed. She shook her head as she fought a grin forming to her lips.
“Stop-”
“You have that glow,” he said teasingly. “You had se-”
“Remember when I begged you to stop asking about my sex life while at work?” she let out with a grin on her lips.
“Oh but you’re the one with-”
“Okay, fine-we did and it was amazing,” she whispered. Tommy threw his hands in the air.
“Hallelujah!” Tommy shouted as he wrapped his arms around her.
“Don’t be weird,” she let out while laughing.

I love your writing.Pls, can u do jinx gets reader to try out a lingerie 🙏
It fits you just right
Contains: suggestive themes but not exlicit smut, soft Jinx.
"Babyyy, I've got you something!" Jinx's loud voice echoes inside her hideout, catching your attention.
She has been gone for a couple of hours at least, having told you that she was going to do some of her usual mischief in Piltover. You bet she painted that town blue from head to toe.
She walks in on the helix, humming a made up song and carrying big patched sacks on her shoulders.
You get your from the couch and push away the book she so kindly took -stole- for you, following her small bouncing with your eyes. "Jinx! What have you..." she throws the bags on the ground just before your feet, their contents spilling all over the floor.
Trinkets of any type, scraps of dull metal, old cupboard sweets and clothes overflow from the linen sacks, tinkling resonating inside the room. You marvel at the many trinkets she got, turning over their glass shells and admiring the many colors reflecting on their metal surfaces. "Jinx!" you say while stuffing your hands inside the creases of a brand new coat, "where have you gotten all this stuff?!".
Her silence is enough to make you understand what she did before she even opens her mouth. "What?! They took everything from us, I'm just repaying them the favor" she moves around you and watches as you intently examine every object she took -stole, again-.
"I told you to me and to me again, you gotta stop steal-" you are rudely interrupted by her exasperated voice, "Yeah yeah I get it! I know".
Silence fills the space again, something that doesn't usually happen while Jinx is there. You look up to see her usual pale skin tone replaced by a faint pink. Her bottom lip is pressed beneath her teeth and her eyes avoid yours. You can already feel a bit of annoyance at her almost childish ways taking their place on the sides of your brain, "What is it?". A small choked sound comes from Jinx's throat, she rocks in the balls of her feet for a moment before you see her taking in a deep breath, closing her eyes and pushing a paper bag towards you. You blink your eyes a few times, surprised by her, before you take the paper bag and open it.
Inside it sits a small brown packet. The way it's nearly stored gives away that whatever is in there must be special to Jinx's standards. The brown paper is adorned with Jinx's signature drawings, colorful traces of crayons depicting small characters -mainly you two holding hands- , scenarios and hearts all over it. A pink ribbon ties everything up, completing the picture.
"Jinx, what is this?" you ask her, earning a whine from her blushing figure. "If I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise, no?".
She watches in anticipation as you unite the ribbon, carefully peel the paper back and...
A set of lingerie sits in front of you, all embroidered and neatly stored. "Do you like it? It's even in my color..." Jinx's words make you realize that the set is a deep navy blue.
You snort at her words. "Really? You steal a pair of lingerie and your first thought is to search for blue ones?" she would have reacted shyly if she hadn't seen the playful smirk on your lips. "I-I mean... It's important, you know?" you walk closer to her, making sure to sway your hips as you do.
"Why? You like seeing me all pretty for you, in your favorite color?" as if she wasn't red already, blood starts to pump even faster into her veins, making her look like a tomato.
"Y-yes I do! N-now put these on!" she roughly shoves the pair against your chest, much to your amusement. "Alright, just wait here, cutie" the way your voice drags over the last word makes something inside of Jinx move, pumps blood in her heart and in her hips.
A few minutes pass by, Jinx's mind already finding new things to think about, when she hears your sing songy voice "Cominggg".
A gasp leaves her when she sees you wearing the lingerie on your skin. It's just perfect, emphasizes every curve of your body, every scar, mole or freckle visible through it: and most importantly, it's her color.
"Wow..." Jinx sits up from the couch, reaching her hand to touch your shoulders, then traveling to grab at your hips. "It fits you just right..." her eyes are glazed and cheeks pink as the ribbon she used to tie your little present up.
"Sooo? Do you like it?" you let out a gasp as her grip on your hips tightens, making you suck in a sharp breath. The way she has you at her mercy makes something pull at your heart strings.
And Jinx? She looks like an absolute mess. Pretty flushed cheeks, eyelids heavy with desire, mouth open and heart full of desire. "Like it? I fucking love it" her nose presses against the cease of your neck, inhaling your scent deeply. "You look so good in this..." she starts to press kisses, electric against your skin. "How did I ever find someone as perfect as you?" her words come out as hot as molten lava, as sweet as honey.
"Jinx..." your breaths are heavy against the unnatural cold of your home. Jinx slides her hand up to your neck, hugging you closer to her. All her newfound confidence suddenly blurs and you can feel her heartbeat through her chest on yours. Again, that shyness she harbors for you and you alone resurfaces, making her look so small against your body. She pushes her lips outwards, pouting a bit before she asks something of you.
"Could we...you know..." her voice is hoarse, creacking here and there. Deep violet eyes stare at yours, assessing if you understand her and silently waiting for an answer. "Could we...what?" you already know what she wants to ask you, but you are having far too much fun teasing her. Her eyes widen for a moment and she swallows hard, before looking at her boots. "You know...you know what I mean...".
You still aren't satisfied with your teasing, waiting for her to admit what she truly wants with words instead of embarrassed chocked sounds. "I don't think I do" that dumb smile of yours only makes Jinx feel more and more embarrassed, tempted by your lips but pulled back by her shyness. She can't do it anymore. With an exasperated whine, Jinx strengthens her grip on the back of your neck and pulls you down towards her, kissing your lips fiercely.
The kiss is all teeth and tongue, all sighs and touches, leaving you breathless and yearning for more. You pull back from her, lips wet, feeling blood rise up from your veins into your cheeks. "Woah...I guess that was enough" you say, giving her a knowing smirk and earning a sigh from her, before she brings you back to her lips. "Oh shut up toots".

A/N 2: Oh and this is the story where the Solomons!Sister won the poll — I’m not sure if it’s angsty enough…I tried my best with it. Also I’m sorry if Alfie seems ooc here…it’s been a bit since I’ve written him and I’m rusty.
COMMENTS & REBLOGS ARE APPRECIATED! — I’D LOVE TO KNOW WHAT YOU THOUGHT OF THE STORY!
comment/message me if you’d like to be tagged!
"You came," she sounded surprised.
"You called," his response was nonchalant.
"Yeah, but I didn't call you."
The story of Tommy Shelby and (Y/N) Solomons is a long, complicated one.
To give a quick summary: they first met the day that Tommy showed up at Alfie's 'bakery. She was the first to greet him and instantly was able to realize that there was more to his motives than what he was letting on.
She was cautious when dealing with him at first, but his charm soon enough chipped away that hesitant exterior she'd put up.
Neither could help but cross the line one late evening after a successful business dinner.
She thought that that would be the end of Tommy Shelby. But now he'd shown up at her door...when she was expecting her brother.
"Where's my brother?" (Y/N) asked, looking to either side of the doorway, hoping that Alfie would be close by.
He wasn't.
"He's busy," Tommy answered.
"So he sent you?" she asked, her brows furrowed.
"Not exactly," he shook his head.
"I'm not understanding what you're saying. Ollie told me that he'd take a note down for Alfie and that he'd inform him as soon as he became available." (Y/N) was confused now.
"I saw the note," he began, "took it upon myself to see what was needed to be discussed."
(Y/N)'s jaw just about dropped. "Tommy, why did you...would you, you shouldn't, you..."
"My name was on the note, love," he cut off her attempt to string words together.
"Just because it was on the note does not mean you were to be involved!" she couldn't stop her voice from raising, her eyes widening as she spoke. Now she was wondering how Ollie had phrased his note to Alfie. A few beats passed before a sigh escaped her lips. She ran a frustrated hand across her face before asking, "what...what did the note say?" Her thoughts had gotten the best of her.
"It said that you needed to speak about Shelby...had some information you wanted to be made known," he answered her, his eyes boring into hers. (Y/N) opened her mouth to say something but he didn't let her, taking a step inside, making her back up in the process. "What is it you wanted to tell him, hmm?"
His close proximity made her heartrate increase. She was quickly losing her ability to think. "Tommy, I..."
"What really was your goal last night, (Y/N)?" he asked her, his brows raising.
The willpower to keep her hands by her sides and not reach out to take hold of him was leaving (Y/N) by the second.
"I thought your intentions aligned with mine..." he trailed off, raising his hand so that he could run it down her jawline in a slow, teasing manner, "at least it seemed that way when you brought me back here."
Instead of dropping his hand when he reached her chin, he grasped it; taking it between his thumb and index finger so that he could raise her fleeing eyes to match his. This action made the breath get caught in (Y/N)'s throat, and every valid argument left her mind the second her eyes locked onto his icy blue ones. All hope was lost now.
"What are your intentions with me, (Y/N)?" he asked her.
"You know them, Tommy, I.." she couldn't quite string a thought together.
"Tell me."
"I.." she paused again, interally freaking out. Think of something, anything, (Y/N), come on! "I wanted to tell him about you...about us," she decided on telling him a lie, hoping that he would take it as the truth.
"Yeah?"
She couldn't decipher what he was truly thinking from his one word response. His widened eyes didn't help either, other than making her fall deeper into his trap with each second that passed. Now she was wracking her brain to think of ways to sell this.
The last thing she wanted to tell him was that she was going to sell him out...to tell Alfie what she felt his true intentions were.
"Yeah," she breathed, nodding her head as much as she could with his fingers still holding her chin. Sell it, (Y/N)!, her mind screamed before she raised her hands up to grip his lapels. All coherent thoughts flew out the window as she leaned in and kissed him.
This wasn't a loving kiss. It wasn't a slow one, unlike the ones they shared last night. She kissed him hard, hoping that the passion she put into it would be enough to get his mind off of the damn note and seal her lie for good.
His hold tightened on her chin, but he didn't break the kiss. In fact, his other hand moved from his side to her hip, where he began bunching up her skirt in order to make contact with her bare skin.
Success.
(Y/N) also became absorbed by the passion that they both were showing. It was hard not to given the fact that he was Tommy Shelby. The night they shared was one of the best she'd ever had. Conniving business man or not, she would remember it for the rest of her life.
"What in the bloody fucking hell is going on here?!"
What (Y/N) did not remember before getting sucked into this situation was to shut the door to her home.
Her eyes shot open and she became frantic, trying to break the kiss and move away from Tommy as quick as she could. "Alfie!" she shrieked, surprise clear on her face.
"Why're you fucking kissing my sister, mate?!" Alfie asked Tommy, speaking with a seething anger.
While (Y/N) was just about shaking from the shock of her brother showing up, Tommy didn't seem to be phased.
"Alfie he...he was just..."
"No," Alfie cut (Y/N) off, shaking his head and stopping her attempt to cover for the man now standing beside her, "I asked him not you. He knows family is off-fucking-limits, so I want him to answer me why."
Tommy said nothing. (Y/N) shrunk into herself more and more with each passing second. She'd never seen Alfie this angry.
"I said fucking answer me!" Alfie bellowed, drawing the revolver he had tucked into his waistband. He wasted no time in cocking it and holding it in Tommy's face.
Tommy still didn't move; didn't even flinch.
"You're going to fucking answer me," Alfie demanded, his voice low and menacing, "yeah, you're going to fucking answer me or it'll be your fucking brains blown out all over (Y/N)'s fucking foyer."
"Alfie, don't," (Y/N) begged her brother, reaching a shaky hand out in hopes that he would see it and lower his weapon.
"She called for you," Tommy spoke, his voice level and stoic.
"She fucking what?" Alfie asked, his brows furrowing slightly, confused by why Tommy was saying this.
“She called your office. You weren’t around. But my name was on the note,” Tommy shared more details.
“And what does that have fucking anything to do with you fucking kissing my sister?!” Alfie’s anger had returned.
“It has everything to do with it,” Tommy was still level-headed. “You see, she was going to tell you about this, about us,” he then dropped the bomb, motioning between himself and (Y/N) to emphasize the point he was making.
“I can explain,” (Y/N) was quick to blurt out, her eyes trained on the gun in Alfie’s hand, which he’d - thankfully - lowered from being aimed at Tommy’s head.
She couldn’t read the look in her brother’s eyes. The seconds felt like hours as they passed. She stood frozen as Alfie rose the revolver again and…….
Ok I’m evil, I know but……..
Don’t fret, if the poll’s closed by the time you’re reading this, you’re still more than welcome (and I’d encourage you, actually) to share what you think would happen next!!
p.s….this story won’t be getting continued. I’m just curious as to what y’all think.

detail thoughts:
- love ronan’s obviously expensive (non-uniform) coat, intrigued that his tattoo doesn’t reach to his neck as far as we can see
- love how noah’s “crushed” side is blocked, also curious if he’ll often be blocked/awkward in panel compositions? could be a cool concept?
- love blue and ronan having the same gaze! yes! lusting for gansey. who said that.
- adam’s slight mullet. justice. plus great contrast to the three other boys all having identical clean cuts on the back of their heads. and i know it’s just dramatic sunlight but if he really had a kinda shitty bleach job i wouldn’t be mad
- everyone has freckles thank u sas
- blue with the classic ➿ choker! and bushy eyebrows!!! also i always forgot how short she’s supposed to be like damn. excited to see how they’ll play into that visually! and her being the only one with her full face shown is nice <3 i wish it was more obvious that she’s the main character but i respect that it’s lowkey too!
in conclusion: look how far we’ve come thank god <3

The Au Pair Boy Part 5
Hey! This will take a short break until December then it will begin posting on Fridays to take place of The Hellfire Exotic Club.
In this we have all Robin and Steve with a little cameo of Chrissy. Steve just needed a little bestie time.
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4
~
Steve stared at the little black card in his hand. He had waited until he had gotten one in his name before using the account, even though Eddie had said that he was already an authorized user and the bank had been told that Steve would be using it immediately.
He just didn’t feel comfortable with doing so. So Eddie had one overnighted to him to make sure he could get whatever he needed as soon as possible. It was his first day off since Eddie left, Steve having refused to take one until he was sure the girls could handle it.
So here he was with his best friend standing outside of an Ikea with a black credit card and a dawning sense of dread.
“If I go in there,” he huffed, “I’m never coming back out again. You know that right? These places are cursed.”
Robin burst out laughing. “I think the power of your newly minted black credit card will act as a talisman of getting lost by the power of capitalism.”
“If you say so,” Steve scoffed. “If I don’t escape, I am totally blaming you, I hope you know that.”
She grabbed his arm and pulled him toward the entrance. “Come on, you big baby.”
They were looking at sheets when she spoke up again. “I think it’s really cool he’s allowing you decorate your room.”
Steve chuckled as he weighed the two options in his hands. “I think it’s because he really wants me to stay. If I put effort into my own space and get really settled in, I’ll be less likely to want to move.”
“Any spicy texts from ‘Daddy’?” Robin asked wagging her eyebrows suggestively.
“No.” He bumped her with his hip. “Knock that off. Yes, he is hot and sweet and funny, but I’m not going got cross that line. Especially not with him currently traveling the country with his metal band.”
“That’s too bad,” she pouted.
Then his phone rang. He put the dark blue sheets in the cart and the light blue ones back on the shelf and then he answered the call.
“Hey, Chrissy,” he greeted. “What’s up?”
“I hate to call you on your day off, Steve,” she began. “But Joanie can’t find her elephant plushy and she’s on the verge of a meltdown.”
Steve pinched his nose and sighed. “That’s because she insisted she wanted to bring Mr. Puff and Stuff, her wolf plushy instead. Snuffymuffie is still out the house.”
The sound of absolutely agony echoed through the phone line. Steve could almost feel her soul leaving her body from here.
“It’s on her bed with all her other plushies,” he assured her. “And when I come pick them up tomorrow I’ll bring mint ice cream.”
“I love you, Steve Harrington,” she breathed. “You are a saint among men!”
“No, just a seasoned nanny,” Steve replied with a chuckle. “Now go on before she decides that you’re ignoring her pain and starts wailing.”
Then wailing could be heard at full volume through the phone causing even Robin to wince from the sheer sound of it.
“Too late.”
Steve stared at his phone for a moment or two after she disconnected. He turned to Robin. “How is this my life now?”
“Don’t ask me,” she said with her hands up. “That couldn’t be me. I like kids in short spurts not long hauls.” She pointed to the phone in his hand with her chin. “So who was that then?”
“Chrissy Cunningham,” he replied pocketing his phone and pushing the cart forward. “She’s Eddie’s manager. Usually she goes with them when the band tours, but for the first little bit he wanted someone who the girls knew close on hand.”
“So why didn’t she take the kiddos?” Robin said, falling instep next to him.
“Because she still works,” Steve said. “So she can’t watch them during the day. Plus, Eddie had been wanting to get a live-in nanny for awhile. So this solved both problems.”
“Do you miss it?” Robin asked. “Having your own space?”
Steve wasn’t sure what she meant. He had his own space and told her so. That was what they were shopping for after all. Decorating his space.
“I meant an apartment of your own,” she said a little exasperated. “Like you really don’t have any freedom. It’s not like you can paint it all pink with white fruit everywhere.”
“I could actually,” Steve said with a shrug. “Though the example Eddie used was neon orange with brightly color rainbow dicks everywhere.”
Robin blinked at him for a moment. “But what if the girls saw that?”
“It would probably be explained as a banana and a couple of peaches or whatever,” Steve said, waving her off. “But that’s not the point. The point is that if I wanted to buy a racing car bed and make everything chrome, I could. I just don’t want to. It’s a gorgeous room, I want to add to it, not make it into a hellscape or whatever.”
“So what’s with all the nautical stuff, then?” she asked picking up the back of fake seashells.
“It’s very dark wood and deep blues,” he explained snatching them back from her tossing them back into the cart. “I makes me feel like I’m sailing on the ocean. But I also want to give it a haunted vibe, too. To go with the rest of the house.”
“I’m really going to have to see this place,” she huffed.
Steve stared at her for a moment. “I thought that was the plan. I thought you were coming over after we were done shopping to help me set everything up.”
“I wasn’t sure I was allowed to be there when it was just you,” she said with a half shrug.
“I’m allowed to have friends over,” he replied, rolling his eyes. “If I break anything, he just asks that I let him know. He’s got four year old twins, like I’m pretty sure anything fragile or expensive was put away a long time ago.”
Robin blinked for a moment as she processed that thought. “Right. What was I thinking?”
“You weren’t,” Steve huffed. “Now come on there are ten million miles to get through and I would like get through this before I die of old age.”
She scoffed but let him lead her through the store as he asked for her opinion on some things and to get her to mock others.
By the time they reached the check out, their cart was overflowing with all sorts of fun things for his room. Or rather, as Steve had learned. Wing. An entire fucking wing of the house was his. It had his bedroom, the bathroom, a small sitting room/library, and fucking kitchenette for entertaining guests.
He paid with the card Eddie had given him, both Robin and the cashier’s eyes went wide.
The cashier kinda gave him the stink-eye, like ‘what are you doing in an I-fucking-kea with a card like that?’ But Steve steadfastly ignored her and grabbed his packages.
“Why did we go to Ikea?” Robin asked as she helped load up his car with the stuff he bought.
“Because what I wanted was here,” Steve said rolling his eyes. “More expensive doesn’t equal better quality.” He slammed the trunk closed and got into the driver’s seat.
She rolled her eyes back at him, but wisely said nothing. He was the one with the ultra credit card and she wanted nachos from her favorite Mexican restaurant, something she would not get if she pushed Steve too far with the card. She could tell he was uncomfortable having it, so it was sure bet Eddie had insisted.
When they got to the house, Robin was in awe. She could see why Steve had fallen in love with the place. It gave off that tastefully haunted vibe of the Addams Family. Inside was even cooler as Steve showed her around. The only places they didn’t go were the Munsons’ bedrooms and Eddie’s studio and office.
But Robin was okay with that when she saw the game room, and the movie theater and the swimming pool and the actual fucking library. Here was a guy who took his money and put it to tasteful use.
“This is really neat,” she said as she flopped on the sofa in Steve’s study. “And this all yours?”
“Until they get old enough not to need me,” Steve said with a shrug. He began putting things away on the shelves. “Which is probably at least ten years off, maybe more if I’m really lucky.”
“Here’s to that,” Robin said, impressed. “Is he looking for another nanny? Because damn, I’d love a sweet place like this.”
“No,” Steve said and smacked her with his dust rag. “Get up on your feet and help me Missy!”
She leapt to her feet to get away from the dusty rag. “I surrender! I surrender!” She opened the first box and got to work sort things into proper piles so Steve could them away as he went.
“He’s looking for almost everything else though,” Steve said as he put books on the shelves. “Like everything else. A gardener or two, a couple of grounds maintenance guys, a cook, a pool cleaner, a couple of maids. All that sort of stuff.”
“Wow,” Robin said, opening another box, “that’s pretty much everyone. What happen, he fire everyone at once?”
Beat.
“Wait, what?” she said, whipping her head up to look at him. He was looking at the floor biting his lip. “What happened?”
“His ex slept with everyone on the staff who would let him,” Steve mumbled, “and those he didn’t sleep with kept it from him. With having no one trust, he just got rid of all of them.”
“Holy shit,” Robin hissed. “Way to upend the kiddos’ entire lives.”
“Ethan or Eddie?” Steve said with a shrug and grabbed the nearest pile of books to start shelving.
“Oh, totally the ex,” Robin hissed, “what an asshole. And the fact that all of them colluded to keep it from Eddie? That’s the major dick move. How long has he been struggling to do it all on his own?”
“About a year,” Steve replied absently as he tried to decide whether or not ‘Good Omens’ would go under G for Gaiman or P for Pratchett. He decided on Pratchett since it was the name on top. “I think his friends staged an intervention a la reunion tour to force him to move forward with his life.”
She snorted and shook her head. “Men. I am so glad I’m not attracted to them. Emotionally stunted morons. Well most of them anyway.”
“Anyone can get overwhelmed, Robs,” he huffed picking up his last stack of books. “I’ve gotten a few prospects for the yard and swimming pool.”
“Yeah, I was noticing how overgrown everything was,” she agreed, “even if the vibe was haunted house.”
Steve sighed and plopped down next to her. “I didn’t even show you what the gardener’s shed looked like or the pool house. He really let everything go in his grief. He didn’t say anything to me, but you can tell he took the break up really hard. This was his person. The one he thought he was going to spend the rest of his life with. And then Ethan went and blew it all up with no explanation, just a gigantic mess to clean up.”
“Well, I’m glad he has you,” she said bumping him with her shoulder. “And I was only joking about the being hired too. As long as I get to visit this place and hang out by the pool on occasion, I’ll consider it even.” She held out her hand and Steve took it with a smile.
“I think we’re all done in here,” he said standing up and dusting off his knees. “Bedroom is next.”
Robin got up and looked around his little study. “I’m happy for you, Steve. I think you’re going to be really happy here.”
Steve smiled. “I already am. I know it’s only been a week since Eddie left and ten days since I was hired, but I really don’t want to screw this up.”
She hugged him tight. If anyone deserved a fairy tale ending it was her platonic soulmate. Now all she had to do was convince him to get flirty with the hot frontman of Corroded Coffin and her boy would be set for life.
They walked into the bedroom and got to decorating it. When they were done, she flopped down on the queen size bed, spread eagle.
“We should order in and watch horror movies on that massive screen,” she suggested, staring up at the ceiling.
Steve cocked his head to the side and tapped his lips thoughtfully. “Make it pizza and you’ve got yourself a deal.”
“Fine!” she huffed, seeing her dreams of loaded nachos flutter away.
He kicked her foot, causing her to sit up abruptly. “Buy your own nachos, you big baby. You have a job. Or at least you did yesterday, so unless there is something you’d like to tell me you can get your own.”
“You’re a real bitch, Steve Harrington,” she huffed, hopping off the bed. “Tell me again why I like you?”
“Because you get to watch Jamie Lee Curtis in full high definition projection,” he said, giving her a kiss on the cheek and then walked out of the room.
“Wait!” she huffed, scrambling to catch up. “He has the original ‘Halloween’? You can’t just drop that on me and run, Harrington!”
Steve giggled as he ran down the stairs, with Robin hot on his heels. He cut a corner tightly, causing her to careen into the opposite wall.
“Curse you and your jock reflexes!” she hissed as she pushed herself off the wall to continue her chase.
By the time she had caught up with him, he was already on the phone with the pizza place. “At least get something with vegetables! You don’t want scurvy!”
“And one medium raspberry lemonade and one large cherry limeade,” he said with a wink at her. “Yes that will be all.”
“All that sugar!” Robin huffed. “I don’t know how you don’t kill over from sugar shock or something with all the sweet stuff you eat and drink.”
“Because I exercise and eat right most of the time,” Steve said back. “Diet culture is such BS, your body needs sugar to function. It’s why I put it in my tomato sauce when I make it from scratch.”
“Betrayal!” she cried and flopped on the sofa. She tilted her head for a moment and then melted into said sofa. “This is a really soft sofa, Steve. Everything here is so soft. I don’t know why but I pictured everything being so hard and stiff and uncomfortable.”
“Eddie certainly isn’t your stereotypical rich guy,” Steve agreed. “And I think this place was soft before the girls, because I think Eddie likes soft.”
Robin looked at her best friend fondly. She could tell he was already in love with this Eddie, he was just very deep in denial.
They had their movie night complete with pizza and drinks. One of the pizzas even had vegetables on it. For her. And when Steve dropped her off the next morning, she was content in her knowledge Steve wasn’t just going to do well there, he was going to thrive.

Agatha All Along deep dive: episode 4 part 3
(Wandavision entries: [1][2][3])
(AAA entries: ep1 [1][2][3][4] ep2 [1][2][3][4] ep3 [1][2][3] ep4 [1][2][3])
Lilia is bickering with Jen in episode 7. she turns around and SEES ALICE, WHO WAS KILLED IN EPISODE 5
alice, don't try to save agatha! but she's whisked ever further back to episode 2 before she can finish the sentence. imagine having the power of communicating with the past but it's never enough to warn them. seeing the dead and talking to them, knowing what's going to come next. and you wonder why she chose exile and solitude.
meanwhile agatha has collected her wits long enough to decide what her short term strategy with rio is gonna be: keep her distracted, isolate her from the others, keep her away from billy. see how she takes a moment to focus and get into character? she knows rio is about to follow her like a moth to a flame
just going on a trip with my best gal pals and a random teen boy, nothing to see here!!!! and agatha knows that rio knows that she's lying. hello, rio is PERFECTLY aware that there's no Road out there capable of magicking her into a glam rock sex den. but maybe, just maybe, agatha can keep her focused on something else. honestly it would be such a waste to not put all that combined cleavage to good use!
there she was, having a chat with sharon down in the dirt, and you guys went and dragged her up. like perfect morons. I love how she brought the flower along and it ends up working really well with the outfit
oh, rio knows. she knows everything.
and agatha SHOOTS UP and GETS TOO CLOSE and FLIRTS. oh my god this bitch. just like she did in episode 1, except now she's more collected and ever more deliberate. flirting is her best weapon of mass distraction against rio. because look, rio might know all her tricks but she's only (very marginally) human! who can blame her if she lets herself be seduced a little bit, just a little bit! for old times' sake! in rio's defense her wife is very hot and she misses her very much, your honor
rio is like, bitch I got you allllll figure out but also lemme gently caress your thigh. to enhance your acting performance. what's a little supportive yes, and between exes
she's sooo hamming it up. compare her face here with the genuine yearning at the end of the episode
oh this is hilarious. the others hear rio's flirting over the PA and panic, but no, girls, enthusing about murder is legit how they talk dirty!! (lol at lilia being like, right in front of my salad???)
"gasp!!!! that's my coVEN you're talking abOUT!!!! I'm not that kiND OF wiTCH anYMOWRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" the ham! the ham! she might just bring the whole deli cart over at this point
and rio with her lil delighted laugh again. she doesn't get mad for one second, she didn't expect anything else. oh agatha, you silly goose, you're so damaged and so cute
let's recap what this fucker achieved with her latest performance, because it's always fascinating to study what's going on in agatha's ferociously scheming brain. she 1) distracted rio from billy. or at least tried to. 2) hinted at Rio's true nature to the others - who knows, maybe she can manipulate them into allying against her later on? 3) pretended to flirt but also flirted a lil bit forreal because there was a lot of skin showing and the flesh is weak etc etc 4) backpedaled alllllllll the way out when things got too intimate because she's too scared and resentful to get close to rio again. playing with fire as usual. or, as the kids say today, fucking around, about to find out
alice's trial has the best aesthetic fr fr. the 70s font!
I'm not 100% sure bcs it goes by so quickly but I think rio is dancing to the cursed music???
not the turntable!! that shit's vintage!!!!!!!
*brian de palma zoom*
*dramatic pause*
WE'VE BEEN CURSED (I love you patti lupone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
INJECT THIS AESTHETIC DIRECTLY INTO MY VEINS. also alice is red, billy and agatha are blue with purple undertones. the colors in this trial seem very deliberate
"she's a tourist." "she's a PSYCHO." look she never gets to just hang out and do fun things anymore, let her be!!
rio and lilia having a little staring contest as she plays with the knife. doing their own cute archnemeses thing
agatha shaking her head at billy and going shhh when he says 'maybe this curse isn't so bad.' like KID will you stop speaking HORRORS into existence?!?
alice standing with her back straight for the first time since like, ever? or since her mom died? did everyone in the family have their own personal demon or did it switch after killing the previous person? or wait, wait, was the curse only like, a metaphor until billy accidentally turned it into a disgusting 1970s animatronic harpy??
I'm convinced rio could see the demon from the beginning. look at her face here, she's the only one who sees both lilia burning and what's causing it
poor lilia must be thinking, burning witches? soooo original and not traumatic at all (lol at patti being a pro at screaming and writhing in pain on the floor. PROFESSIONAL ACTING)
no no no that's the reaping knife careful careful careful careful
alice's spell: expelle hoc malum, expel this evil. (rio when agatha tries it on her later: WHO ARE YOU CALLING EVIL)
lol. lmao, even. (just don't think about how jen has grown seLFISH TO SURVIVE AFTER HAVING TO LIVE POWERLESS AND DEFENSELESS FOR A CENTURY AND HOW SHE BECOMES MORE AND MORE GENEROUS AS SHE SPENDS TIME WITH ALICE AND LILIA)
oh noes my character just had a beast's giant talons perched on her shoulders i should flash the twins real quick so you can see it better
everyone else: EXTREME PANICKING
rio: stops reading her magazine to glance at the disgusting invisible harpy flapping around the room. goes back to the magazine.
and with this I'm off to my extreme friday night (tea and blankie and a book). ciao!

Part two of my thing. Reader probably gives up at some point and just hops on doffys back. Saying something like its easier than trying to keep up with your walking speed. New problem has occurred now reader is now drowning in the soft fluffy feathers of the coat. But its probably better to deal with that over getting lost,running into his legs or booty all the time. Guarantee reader gets accidentally bounced back into the floor each time theyve ran into him. Just like i guarantee doffy sometimes thinks reader is bumping into him on purpose or he does actually stop suddenly just to tease them 🐦⬛
🐦⬛anon
You. Have deserved a little drabble. Bcs I love this idea, and YES, TOTALLY, WOULD HAPPEN, GET ON THE MAN'S BACK, HONEY. BEHOLD. A little drabble for you, 🐦⬛anon. Thank you for sending such great asks and ideas! 🥹 This is set in the Red Suit Doffy Fic ie North Blue Doffy x Rosinante's Wife!Reader. I hope you like it.
You fell to the floor. This time, the collision with Doflamingo's leg was too sudden, and you'd been walking three times your speed to keep up with him in the city — at one point, you’d started to pant because you started jogging to keep up with him.
Doflamingo looked over his shoulder. He noticed you lying on the ground on your elbows, groaning as your butt hurt.
He snorted.
The bastard.
Snorted.
“Sorry,” he said, flashing you his wide, large grin, not looking sorry at all. You were sure that this time, the bastard stopped on purpose. In fact, you were sure that this entire day, he’d stopped on purpose randomly just so your face would bump into the back of his upper thigh.
“That's it!” you shrieked, your shout startling the ignorant citizens walking down the street of the town. “I’ve had it with you! And your stupid long legs!”
Doflamingo was still smiling, even as he turned to you, looking down at you. “It’s not my fault you’re so short.” He reached down with his arm — he didn't even have to bend down — and patted your head condescendingly. “And slow.”
You growled. You knew he wouldn’t let you walk around town alone, and it would be a hassle if you got lost because he decided to walk ahead without checking that you were following him. For such a tall man, he could disappear unnervingly easily from sight.
“Look at you,” he cooed, the tips of his fingers ruffling your hair slightly, like you were a pet. “Already panting just from some walking.”
“Your walking steps are three times the width of mine!” you said, slapping at his wrist. Doflamingo chuckled. “And your legs are as tall as my entire body!”
“Actually, my legs are taller than you,” said Doflamingo, smiling widely at you.
You inhaled, your fists clenching, and you were about to punch him in the groin — it would be easy enough — or his knee, which would also be easy enough. Whether your punch would reach him was another thing entirely.
This time, Doflamingo did bend down, his upper body and face taking up your entire vision, his hands in the pockets of his red suit pants, his grin devilish and wide as an evil cat's.
“Well, you can always let me carry you in my arms like the spoiled thing you are. I wouldn’t mind.”
Your eyes widened. Oh. So that was his plan. You watched him, and his face. He was certain he'd won, and you feared that, too, until...
Your eyes settled on his large pink coat. Then, slowly, a grin unfurled on your own face, frighteningly similar to Doflamingo's.
“Actually,” you said, “I’ll ride on your coat.”
Oh. Oh. The way Doflamingo’s face fell as he realised he couldn’t say no without making it obvious he wanted to carry you bridal style across the city for the rest of the day was priceless.
You wished you had a Photo Snail to capture the moment for eternity.
You waved your index finger at him in a motion to turn around. “Come on, you giant menace. Turn and squat a bit.”
Doflamingo’s jaw clenched. He scowled, sneered, but relented, and turned around, then squatted slightly, bending his knees. Wasting no time, you jumped as high as you could, leaping right for the huge pink feather coat — which was also bigger than you — landed on it, and started climbing your way up it. Maybe you kicked Doflamingo in the ass and gave him a light shove on his lower back as you climbed, but he couldn’t say anything to it unless he revealed his true intentions.
So, he stayed quiet — fuming all the while, you were sure — as you clambered up his pink feather coat, popped your head up over the collar, gripped onto the underlayer, and settled yourself across it.
It was extremely fluffy, the feathers soft like clouds. They tickled across your face and brushed against your nose.
“You better not be clinging to the feathers.” he grumbled. By the sound of his voice, this was definitely not how he imagined this to go. “And don’t put your shoes on it.”
You scoffed. Saints forbid his perfect coat gets dirty. But... You brushed your fingers gently over the feathery softness, feeling a smile lift on your face.
“I’m holding onto the coat. Your feathers are fine.” you assured, rolling your eyes at him. Then, you gave him a little nudge with your feet in the back as revenge for all the times you crashed into his legs facefirst today. “Go, donkey.”
“I will throw you over, woman.”
You settled your head close to his ear, and whispered. “No, you won’t.”
Doflamingo didn’t say anything. Slowly — almost as though he was being considerate of the sudden height difference and surge of height you would gain — he straightened up.
Your eyes widened as you sat on the immense height, staring at the vision of the street before you. It was amazing, and so different from how you saw it. Was this how Doflamingo saw the entire city, and all the people? No wonder he thought he was a god on earth. Anyone who was this height must think something similar.
Doflamingo started walking, the pink feathers swaying with each move of his legs. The coat was so soft and comfortable... You could fall asleep like this, your face caressed by his pink feathers. Unconsciously, your hands climbed up, your fingers settling atop Doflamingo's shoulders — thick, solid and firm.
“Thanks, Doffy.” you said.
Doflamingo chuckled. He tilted his head to the left toward where your chin sat atop his shoulder, his feathers caressing your face, swathing you in their pink plumage. He couldn’t help it. He leaned down and nuzzled your cheek.
“You welcome, darling.” he purred.
He laughed when you groaned, your face getting red. You retracted your head back into his coat.
“I’m regretting it now...” you mumbled, your voice muffled by the feathers.
Doflamingo laughed victoriously. His plan might not have worked as planned, but you were still close to him, and he was still carrying you.
“You’re not getting off this ride now!” he crowed, laughing maniacally. “So better get comfortable.”
He sauntered down the street, and the more he moved, the more you understood how he had such confidence, because you felt a swell of it slowly pouring in your gut, too.
You chuckled, and rested your face against the feathers, on his broad, firm shoulder covered by soft, pink feathers.
“Aye, sir.”

Thank you for the ask, 🐦⬛anon!

Hello sweet patooties!!!
Jelsa sketch dump part-1
🦢🦢🤍🤍❄️❄️🤍🤍🦢🦢
Early 2020:
This two-part (originally 4-part, but was scraped off) fanart was amongst the first ever Jelsa pieces I've drawn. These two are very dear to me and I'm still proud of the results!!!
Mid 2022:
Just a simple angst/ post-angst comfort drawing because I was at my freaking lowest at that time and was not in the best state of mind. Another intimate piece, but I wanted to share this because I want you to know that when you're not feeling well, just do what you're a bit passionate about. Put as much effort as you could, just to soothen your state and neutralize any harmful thoughts.
Mid 2023:
I've just decided to not draw them again somehow, after I drew the post-angst comfort piece. I was just so moved by that, I felt terrified that such an act HELPED me. That's why there was a massive break of a year in between. Also I was studying my intermediate (11-12 std) so yeah, much intimidating times. But back in the glorious year of 2023 when I got a 4-month break before getting into college, I needed time to recover and deciding to draw them again was the best thing I did!!!!
Early 2024:
Early AUs:
I've only begun thinking of different Jelsa Aus during like February of this year. So here are the Jelsa AUs of this part-1 post.
Swan lake (wlw):
Just wanted to practice sketching with pen and got carried away ;D. Also fell in love with the movies Black Swan (2010) and Ètoile (1989) at that time, so you kinda get the influence. Here, Jack is the princess (originally the ballet has the prince), and Elsa is Odette, the white swan. I felt the same hit of nausea during the second semester of getting used to college and these two films and Jelsa helped me cope.
Mermaid X Fairy AU:
Jackson Overland Frost: Frost dragonfly fairy
Elsa Oldenburg: cold creek's little siren
In this AU, they are both thumb-sized 🤍
Ah yes!!! My second post on tumblr of my first account before it got axed. My first ever follower of that account was @therentyoupay, and I remember how I squealed in the college hallway when I got the notification!!! Kris and I chatted a bit about our shared love for mermaids and so many kind people liked this one so I'm so thankful to all of you!!!
Wizard X Warrior Nymph AU:
Jackson Overland Frost: Blue-hour wizard
Elsa Oldenburg: Frost nymp
I'll post more about this AU when I can, but for now, let's just say, the roles are reversed and Jack is a calm wizard and Elsa is wild Warrior, nothing else changes much, also size difference is present most of the time, just saying. And to provide more context for the piece, Elsa wants to turn human sized to be effective for combat and goes to Jack to seek help. In this piece, Jack is examining the growth of her body, and this is not a fast transformation, rather a progressive, delicate procedure. His assistants (the smoky, eye-hands) are the ones who extremely come in handy (iykyk).

Summary: When Noah was left alone to take care of his daughter about two years ago, he never thought he would find someone else he would trust enough to include in his little family. But things can change.
Pairing: Noah Sebastian x reader
Tw: parent abandoning their child, fluff, angst, crying, anxiety
Series masterlist
Noah’s living room felt warm, the golden light of late afternoon spilling in through the window, creating a calm atmosphere. You were sitting on the couch, a thick blanket draped over your legs. Luna, wearing her favorite bunny sweater, was sitting cross-legged beside you, her eyes gleaming with excitement. Noah was leaning back on the couch, clearly trying to act annoyed but already failing.
Luna had been waiting for this. His hair had finally gotten long enough for you two to try braiding it, and you was more than eager to help.
"Okay, Noah, hold still," you said, your voice light and teasing as you ran your fingers through his locks.
Noah groaned dramatically, half-sitting up with a roll of his eyes. "Why do I always let you do stuff like that to me?"
You smiled at his grumbling. “Because you love it,” you teased, your fingers working through his hair with practiced ease, slowly pulling it into sections. His hair were soft, and you loved the feel of them between your fingers.
Luna, who was sitting beside you, held up the first hair tie, her tiny face serious as she inspected it. “Here, this one first!” she declared, raising her little hands as she held the bright purple tie out to you.
"Thanks, Luna," you said with a smile, taking the tie and gently securing the first section of his hair. “We’re doing a great job.”
“Yes!” she chirped happily.
Noah, pretending to scowl, leaned back against the couch and closed his eyes. “I don’t know why I let you both do this to me. I'm the only one suffering hare."
You leaned over and kissed the side of his head. “Oh, come on, it’s not so bad. You’re gonna look great.”
“Mh. Sure” he muttered, but the soft smile on his lips betrayed him.
Luna passed you another hair tie, this time a bright blue one, eyes wide as she eagerly waited for the next step. She was in full-on “helper mode,” even though she didn't quite understand the mechanics of braiding yet. It was adorable. You were doing most of the work, but she was right there beside you, picking out the ties, handing them over with excitement.
"We don’t have the pink one!" She suddenly declared.
You turned to Noah, feigning concern. “Oh no, we definitely need the pink one, right?”
Noah gave you a sidelong glance. “Sure, we definitely need it,” he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm, but he couldn’t hide the little glint in his eyes.
You smiled and watched as Luna rushed off to her bedroom to find the missing pink hair tie. Turning back to Noah, you continued working on his hair, gently weaving the strands together. As you did, you couldn’t help but think how cute he looked like this—relaxed, with his hair half-braided, the strands falling in soft locks around his face.
"You look cute like this," you said quietly, your fingers brushing through his hair again.
He shifted slightly, his lips curving up just a little as he turned his head toward you. “Mh. You think so?” he asked, his voice quiet but with that familiar playfulness beneath it.
You nodded, your fingers still working through the strands. “Yeah, really cute.”
You leaned in and kissed him on the cheek, your lips lingering for a second. His eyes softened, and for a moment, he just looked at you, the teasing smile replaced by something warmer.
"Thanks," he said quietly, his fingers finding your hand and giving it a soft squeeze. Then, he leaned in and kissed you on the lips. Gentle and slow.
You pulled back slightly, smiling at him, as Luna appeared in the doorway, holding up the missing pink hair tie triumphantly. “Found it!” she said, grinning from ear to ear as she ran back over and handed it to you.
“Good job,” you said, taking the tie from her and getting back to work on the next braid.
Noah adjusted himself on the couch, his hand resting on your thigh as you continued braiding his hair. His touch was slow, almost absentminded, but you could feel the warmth of his hand through the fabric of your jeans. With his other hand, he reached down and pulled Luna up beside him, his fingers gently rubbing her little back as she settled against his side.
"You’re doing great," you said to Luna, giving her a reassuring smile as you worked.
Luna nestled into Noah, her head resting on his arm. "I’m the best at this,” she whispered almost to herself, her voice muffled against his shirt.
Noah laughed softly, his hand still gently rubbing her back. He glanced at you, his gaze soft and affectionate, before leaning in to press a kiss to your cheek.
You leaned back and admired your work, the little braids now neatly secured in place. "Yeah. Definitely cute," you said.
He couldn't help but chuckle.
The next day, Noah stepped into the the band's living room, Luna bouncing ahead of him as she ran toward the group. The guys were lounging around, but as soon as they saw Luna, they lit up.
“Whoa, look how tall you’re getting!” Jolly exclaimed, crouching down to Luna’s level. “You’re almost as tall as me now!”
Luna giggled, standing on tiptoe and puffing out her chest. “I’m this tall!” she said proudly, arms stretched high above her head.
Noah leaned casually against the doorframe, smiling at the interaction. “Yeah, except she’s the shortest in her class at daycare,” he teased. “She didn’t get that from me.”
Folio, lounging on the couch with a sly grin, chimed in, “She got it from me then. Being tall is not the most important thing, you know?”
Noah rolled his eyes with a chuckle. “Dude, we’re not even related,” he said, shaking his head. "You remember that, right?"
Nick couldn’t help but laugh. “Yeah, yeah, sure."
Matt, who had been quietly watching the exchange, leaned forward. “So, Luna,” he said, “what are we gonna do today?”
Luna’s eyes immediately lit up. “We are drawing!” she exclaimed, poiting to some sharpies and pens she left on a little table in the corner of the room the last time he was there. “I draw big flowers and rainbows, and sometimes cats. And daddy. And Y/N. And you uncles.”
Nicholas leaned in with a grin. “You draw cats? I really wanna see one."
Luna nodded seriously. “I can draw you one! But only if you color it with me.”
“Deal!” he said, raising his hands in surrender. “I’m an expert at coloring!”
Folio raised an eyebrow. “Hey, does that mean you’re gonna be a famous artist one day?”
Luna’s eyes sparkled as she thought about it. “Maybe! I’ll make big art and sell it for a lot of money. Then I’ll buy ice cream!”
The group laughed.
“And you, Uncle Folio?” Luna asked, her tone serious but playful. “What’s your favorite thing to do?”
“Well, I’m pretty good at playing the drums. And I like fishing."
Luna looked at him with a bit of disgust painted on her face. "I don't like fish."
"I'm better at making music, don't worry."
Noah, who had been watching the interaction with a grin, suddenly caught himself thinking about Jason. He almost wanted to talk about the situation with the guys again but he didn't want to ruin the moment.
Maybe next time.
Luna turned to Noah and gave him a big smile. "Daddy, are you going to draw with me too?”
Noah chuckled. "I think I’m better at making music than drawing too.”
Luna frowned playfully. “I think you can do both.”
Noah smiled softly, already talking a sharpie in his hand. “You’re right. I can do both.”
You talked with Jason for the second time three days later.
The Breakfast Nook was rather quiet, that morning. You were behind the counter, chatting with Noah, who was sitting on the bar stool at the counter, drinking his usual cup of tea.
The bell above the door chimed softly as it opened, and when you glanced up, your heart did a little stutter when your eyes landed on Jason.
He was standing in the doorway, framed by the light that poured in from the street. He was wearing a light brown jacket, sleeves rolled up to his elbows, revealing the tattoos on his forearms. His blue eyes scanned the room with an almost unsettling intensity, like he was looking for something specific.
Noah noticed him at the same time you did, and there was a sudden shift in his posture, a subtle but undeniable tension in his shoulders. You could see the way his eyes narrowed as he took in Jason’s appearance and the way he moved into the coffee shop.
You turned back to the espresso machine, trying to stay composed, but you could feel the weight of Noah’s stare, the quiet energy between you both, shifting.
"Uh-oh," Grace’s voice cut through the quiet of the shop. Her tone was sharp and knowing as she peered over from behind the register, her eyes already locked onto Jason. “This is gonna be fun."
You shot her a glare, but she was already smirking, knowing that something was about to happen.
Jason moved toward the counter, his gaze fixed on you. As he stepped closer, you couldn’t help but feel the heat rise in your chest. You hadn’t seen him for three days, and now, you couldn’t deny the unease that curled up inside you as he stood there, so close.
“Hi,” Jason said simply, his voice smooth, low. He wasn’t smiling, but his eyes held a sort of curiosity, as though he was waiting for something, perhaps for you to speak first.
“Hey,” you replied, your voice steady. You waited for him to order, but instead, he just stood there, silent, looking at you.
You shifted uncomfortably, glancing at Noah, who was staring at Jason now, his fingers curling around his teacup. The air felt thick between the three of you, and it was only a matter of time before Noah broke the silence.
“Hi,” Noah’s voice was surprisingly firm as he stood up, his posture protective, his gaze not leaving Jason’s. “I’m Noah. Her boyfriend.”
You blinked, caught off guard by his words. You didn't expect that.
Jason’s gaze flickered between you and Noah, a slight raise of his eyebrows betraying his surprise, but he didn’t react immediately. Grace, who had been watching the entire scene unfold with a bemused expression, snorted quietly to herself behind the counter, stifling a laugh.
Jason finally talked. “Oh, uh, hi, man. I’m Jason. Yeah, I’ve heard of you,” he said, his voice polite, but there was something beneath it—something you couldn’t quite place. His gaze lingered on Noah for a moment before Jason extended his hand, waiting for Noah to shake it.
Noah didn’t move, his hands still firmly wrapped around his teacup, his expression unchanging. Jason’s hand remained outstretched, but Noah simply stayed there, eyes locked on Jason.
“Good,” Noah said finally, his voice low, almost bored. He didn’t offer his hand in return.
You felt like the tension in the air was thick now, almost palpable, as if the room had stopped breathing. Jason just nodded once, like he’d accepted the silent challenge. Then, without a word, he turned his attention back to you, lowering his hand.
“I’ll just have a cappuccino. To take away,” Jason said, his tone casual as if nothing had just happened.
You nodded quickly, your fingers already moving to prepare his order. He was still watching you, and for some reason, it felt like he was studying you, trying to read something in your face.
He paid for his coffee, gave a nod of acknowledgment to Noah—who didn’t respond—and then turned to leave. You couldn’t quite put your finger on it, but the air felt charged as he walked out of the door, the bell chiming softly as he left.
The silence that followed was deafening.
Noah’s gaze stayed fixed on the door, a frown tugging at his lips. “I don’t like him,” he muttered under his breath, his voice tight. “I really don’t like him. He was looking at you the whole time.”
You rolled your eyes, trying to shake off the feeling of unease Jason had left behind. “Well, I work here, Noah. It’s kind of my job to be looked at.”
Noah’s jaw tightened, exhaling a sharp breath as if he were trying to hold back something.
Grace, who had been watching the whole thing with an almost painful amusement, decided it was time to throw in her two cents. “I work here too, sweetheart,” she said. “But he was looking at you.”
You shot her a look that could kill, but Grace didn’t seem to care. She just smirked, clearly enjoying the chaos she’d just witnessed.
“Are you seriously gonna act like that wasn’t weird?” Noah said, his eyes not leaving the door, his fingers drumming restlessly against his mug. “He was practically undressing you with his eyes.”
“Stop,” you said, your voice sharp, trying to deflect the growing tension. “You’re being ridiculous. He’s just a customer like anyone else now.”
Noah shook his head, his brows furrowing in frustration. “Yeah, of course."
Grace chuckled and you shot her a pointed look, which she ignored again, and tried to focus on the customers coming in.
“Well, I'm going to the studio,” Noah muttered, his hand going to his jacket as if he were about to get ready to leave, but you stopped him with a quick touch to his arm.
“Wait,” you said softly, though you could still feel that knot in your stomach. “Are you... are you mad at me?"
Noah hesitated, but then he sighed, rubbing his temple. “No. No, I'm not. I just don’t like him,” he muttered again.
“I know,” you replied quietly, glancing back to the door where Jason had just walked out. “But it's okay. We're okay. Don't worry."
"Mh."
"Come here."
You leaned over the counter to kiss him before he left and when you felt his little smile against your lips, you immediately felt better.
"See you tonight?"
"See you tonight."
The soft glow of the nightlight flickered in the corner of the room, casting a warm, comforting light across the space. Noah was standing by the side of Luna’s bed, his hand gently brushing through her hair as she settled under the covers.
“Cozy, huh?” Noah said softly, pulling the blanket up over her tiny form.
“Mmhmm,” Luna hummed, snuggling into the pillow, her eyelids drooping. She yawned, then blinked up at her dad, her voice small and sleepy. “Today, Emma was talking about her mom.”
Emma was Luna’s friend from daycare, a year older than her, but that was not the important part of the conversation.. He turned slightly, making sure to keep his voice calm, even though he could already feel the weight of what was about to come.
“Was she?” Noah asked, his voice soft, carefully measured. His stomach twisted.
Luna nodded slowly, her little face tired but curious. “Yeah. She asked me how my mom is like.”
Noah was sure his heart skipped a beat. He swallowed hard, trying to find a way to keep the conversation light. He leaned down, placing a soft kiss on her forehead, his voice barely above a whisper.
“And what did you tell her?” he asked, though he already knew what the answer was going to be.
Luna shifted in the bed, tucking her tiny hands under her chin, her brows furrowing slightly. “I said... I don’t have one.” She paused, then, as if the thought had only just occurred to her, asked, “But why don’t I have one, daddy?”
The words hit him like a punch to the gut, and for a moment, Noah’s breath caught in his throat. His eyes stung with something he didn’t want to face. The question was so innocent, but it was also a reminder of what he couldn't keep.
His fingers trembled slightly as he brushed a lock of hair from Luna’s face, trying to steady himself.
Luna’s big eyes were wide now, searching his face, waiting for an answer. Noah’s heart ached at the trust in her expression, the way she needed him to make sense of something that was far too complicated for a little girl to understand.
He took a deep breath, forcing his voice to stay steady even though it trembled slightly.
“Look, princess...” he started, his voice a little strained. He paused, taking another breath before continuing, trying to put the words together in a way that would make sense, in a way that wouldn’t hurt her.
“We are a very special family. Your mommy, when you were very, very little, decided not to be with us anymore.” His chest tightened with the words, but he kept going, pushing through the lump in his throat.
“But that doesn’t change the fact that I love you so much, Lu. You’re my world. And I’ll always be here for you, okay? No matter what.”
Luna blinked up at him, her sleepy little face taking in his words, though the understanding wasn’t fully there. She was too young to really grasp the weight of what he was saying, but Noah could see in her eyes that she trusted him. That was enough.
“Okay,” Luna said softly, her voice already drifting off, the sleep overtaking her once more. “Yes, daddy.”
Noah smiled faintly, relief flooding through him, even if the pain of the conversation still lingered in his chest. He leaned down and kissed the top of her head.
“I love you so much,” he whispered, his voice breaking slightly but not too much for Luna to notice.
"Love you too." Luna’s eyes fluttered shut, her breathing steady as she finally sank into sleep, her small form finally at rest. Noah stayed for a moment longer, just watching her peaceful expression.
Then, with one last glance, Noah stepped back from the bed, pulling the door open just enough to slip out.
He gently closed the door behind him, the soft click of the latch echoing in the stillness of the house.
For a moment, he just stood there, in the dark hallway.
It was when he heard your voice that he realized he was crying.
You were still on the couch when Noah when to put Luna to bed, telling you he would be right back.
You heard him closing the door of his daughter's beroom behind him after a couple of minutes, the soft click echoing in the quiet hallway.
Then only silence.
You waited for a moment, thinking that maybe he stopped in the bathroom but you didn't hear any footsteps, so you stood up and walked towards the hallways, flipping the light switch on to figure out what was happening.
You saw him as he took a couple of slow, heavy steps away from Luna's room, his head slightly down, his posture tense. He wasn’t conpletely facing you yet, but you could tell something was wrong.
You walked toward him instinctively, your heart aching just from the way he was standing even before you realized that a single tear was slowly crossing his cheek.
When you reached him, you spoke, your voice barely above a whisper. “Noah. Are you okay?”
He didn’t respond immediately. But then, as if the words you spoke somehow unlocked something inside him, his breath hitched. A shaky exhale left his lips, and suddenly his body wracked with sobs.
Your heart broke. You had never seen Noah cry before—let alone like this. Never had you seen him so vulnerable, so completely shattered. The sound of his sobbing felt like it was ripping through the stillness of the house, and it pierced you deep in your chest. Without thinking, you moved closer, standing on your tiptoes and wrapping your arms around his neck, trying to hold him together the best you could.
“Baby… what happened?” you asked, your voice trembling with concern.
Noah just shook his head, the sobs coming harder now. He couldn’t speak. The weight of whatever was tormenting him was too much to bear, and you could feel the rawness of it in every tremor that ran through his body.
You held him tighter, trying to soothe him, but his shoulder kept shaking under your hands, and you knew there was nothing you could say or do to stop the storm inside him. You pressed your cheek to the side of his head, whispering over and over again, “It’s okay, baby. I’m here. It’s okay.”
You felt the tears against your neck, and your own eyes began to sting as you realized just how much he was suffering. You gently cupped his face, wiping away some of the tears, but his pain wasn’t something you could erase.
All you could do was hold him, let him cry, and be there.
After a while, when his sobs had calmed just a bit, you reached down and took his hand in yours, guiding him to the bed. He followed you wordlessly, his movements slow and unsteady, as if he were in a daze. Once you sat him down, he immediately let himself fall onto the bed, his head resting against your stomach.
You settled under him, pulling the blanket over you both, and began to run your fingers gently along his back and shoulders, trying to calm the trembling in his body. He hid his face in your shirt, his breath still shaky as he tried to steady himself.
His arms wrapped loosely around you, but it was as if he were clinging to you for dear life.
“I’m here, baby,” you whispered softly, gently scratching the back of his head, “It’s okay. I’m right here.”
The minutes stretched on, and you felt his breathing begin to steady.
You didn’t rush him. You didn’t push him to talk. You just kept whispering comforting words, running your fingers over his skin and through his hair. You could feel the weight of his fears in every soft exhale, and it only made you want to hold him even tighter.
Eventually, he spoke. “Luna asked why she doesn’t have a mom.” His words trembled as he said them, and you could hear the guilt in his voice. “And… it just... it stirred something in me. I’m always so fucking scared. I’m scared I’m not enough for her. I’m scared of messing up, of not being a good enough dad. I let her mom leave... I should’ve done something. For her. I should’ve—”
You shook your head, your fingers brushing over his hair, softly. “No, baby. You are enough. You’re an amazing dad, Noah. Luna loves you so much. You did everything you could. Nothing that happened is your fault."
Noah’s breath hitched again, and he buried his face further into your stomach, his voice muffled but still desperate. “And I’m scared I’m not enough for you,” he said, his words barely audible.
“I know you love me, I know you wouldn’t leave me, but I can’t help it. I’m scared, baby. Every day. Every time I wake up and you’re not next to me, I'm always so fucking scared and I feel it in my chest and I don’t even know how to explain it… and now, with Jason back, I don’t know. I just feel like… like I’m not enough for anyone. Like I'm about to lose you.”
His words almost physically hurt you.
You could hear the rawness in his voice—the depth of his insecurity, the weight of everything he was carrying. You pressed a kiss to the top of his head, your hand moving gently along his back.
“Listen to me,” you said, your voice firm but gentle, “You are enough, Noah. I've already said it and I'll keep repeating it. You’re more than enough. You’re an incredible dad, an incredible boyfriend. I’m here, and I’m not going anywhere. And I love you so much.”
Noah took a deep breath, the shaking in his body starting to subside. You continued to stroke his back, between his shoulder blades, your hand moving in slow, soothing circles, trying to ease the tension still gripping him.
His breathing began to steady, and though he didn’t say anything more, you could feel him start to relax under your touch. You could feel the fight slowly leaving him, the fear and the guilt starting to soften.
His hand moved up to rest against your chest, fingers gripping your shirt as if he were afraid to let go. You let him do it.
And as the night went on, you just held him, whispering reassurances, your fingers always gently caressing his back.
Your t-shirt was damp with his tears, but you didn’t care.
You weren’t going anywhere. You wouldn’t let him go through this alone.
Eventually, Noah’s breath grew even, his body still against yours, the last of his tears falling on your shirt. You kept running your fingers over his back for a little longer, ensuring that he was calm, letting the gentle rise and fall of your chest be the rhythm he could settle into. When you were sure that he had finally drifted into a peaceful sleep, you allowed yourself to relax as well.
You stayed there, the sound of his steady breathing the only thing filling the quiet room.
You watched him sleep for a few moments.
And only then, you let a few tears fall from your eyes, that, landing on your shirt, mixed with Noah's.

Part of me is still so utterly baffled by Caps breakdown of an instrucutal because like… yeah that’s certainly SOMETHING innit? I chose to believe that it’s better to not take it too literal and that it’s mostly the result of him making a video while having a complete meltdown and just going nuts.
All of this is my convoluted way of saying „I think the meat is symbolic and not… what one may assume it is.“ (Would also explain how he Apperantly could make burgers several times and not just be…. Swiss cheese himself)
HOWEVER, your poll just made me realize how absolutely darkly humorous it would be if he in fact does serve himself up on a platter to Inspekta ESPECIALLY if Inspekta doesn’t know.
Just… imagine the fucking awkward, horrible conversation with Hector that may arrive just in case he ever asks for „The recipipy for dose taistey burgies you used ta make for me. What even wuz that meat?“ „….“ „Cappy?“ „….“ „Cap?“ „…nn.“ „Cap? W-What was that meat?“ Visible sweating. „WHAT WAS THAT MEAT CAP?!?“
Well regardless of if you think Capochin is literally serving Inspekta his own heart on a platter it's definitely also allegorical and symbolic! Capo's figuratively cutting his own heart out to prove his devotion in a desperate attempt for approval and to feel like he's useful and matters. All of his love and attention is going to Inspekta and he's nearly blocked everything else out. We know that he also knows deep down that what he's doing to the Grove is wrong and that he has lots of doubts and fears- but he's heartless now and doesn't care who gets hurt or dies in the process. If he just cuts it out he doesn't have to think about it and he doesn't have to realize how poorly he's been treating others or how poorly he is being treated himself. Or at least that's my interpretation of it. So is it literal at all too? I lean towards yes on this one too but I have no clue if it is or not. We do see the actual blue meat and the whole thing is pretty surreal already- an actual puppet’s not going to have meat in it. But the whole game leans into cartoon logic for things so I think it's possible for Capo to be doing this and still be functioning- I imagine it just grows back because of his own love and emotions continuing to grow. Heart is a renewable resource! At the end of the day though please come up with your own conclusions and interps! I'm just having fun playing in the possibility space and I think its fun if the meat is real but it's fine if you don't! AND YEAH the conversation would be uh. AWFUL for both of them to have but very juicy (haha) for character beats and development. and also kinda funny to me. SO I like to think about it.

15 Days BL Challenge (Part 1)
You can find the original post here.
Day 4: Fave Ship Dynamic
Forbidden Love… Yes, I am a sucker for this dynamic. Don't judge me. Or judge me all you want, I don't care. I just enjoy this whole pining and longing. And not just with bl. Red, White and Royal Blue is one of my favorite movies and books. This is definitely the lighter version of this trope, but why start with the hard stuff... Look at them. They are so precious!
But I always had this fascination with this trope. Broderskab is another good example. The love between two denish N*zis in an environment where love and especially love between two men is not welcome or known at all. Such a beautiful movie with one of the best, most beautiful shot nc-scene. Or From Beginning To End. Another really beautiful movie depicting a forbidden love. And there are so many more.
Latest examples for this kind of dynamic are The On1y One
and Unknown.
The stepbrother or chosen brother trope doesn’t bother me at all. I am a fan. Give them all to me! Let me feel the deep feelings of those characters struggling with their emotions!
And the forbidden love trope is one of the reasons why I enjoyed Wedding Plan that much.
There is this tingling when you want to be with someone you shouldn’t be with. When they realize the feelings are mutual and when they finally give in to them. Those kinds of love feel like an explosion. There are so many emotions held back that finally want to come out, all at once.
And perhaps that is another reason why I loved Love Mechanics so much.
And not just because those two have incredible chemistry and gave us one of the most beautiful kisses in bl-history.

Chapter One
The air of Small Heath seemed to have a way of sticking to your skin or clothing. It left you feeling almost sticky and sweaty from the grim that would collect no matter how careful you chose to be. The people had grown used to such things and one could never be too precious about their clothing. Children seemed to run wild with their dogs and friends, men in the factories returning home covered in soot and the women trying to keep their homes cleaned to the best of their ability. Katherine Redwine had been brought up on Watery Lane and in her young mind, she believed that this was always going to be the case. “Kat, are you listening?” The annoyed voice of Ada rang through her ears pulling her attention away from the window. “Yes, of course. You were saying?” Katherine gave her friend a smile and lifted her cup of tea to her lips. It was rare that the two girls got moments like this and she didn’t mean to waste her time lost in the clouds. Ada watched Katherine with a sad smile of her own. Since the war Katherine hadn’t been the same, which she supposed was the common saying amongst the rest of the world. “I was saying that I think it is time that we get you back out there. You are a beautiful girl and I know anyone would be lucky to have you.” Ada leaned forward in her chair and crossed her ankles. “He wouldn’t want you to live like this. Pat-” “I’m alright I promise, I am just not ready. There’s still too much to do right now.” It wasn’t a complete lie. Since the men had come back home it had been a hard adjustment for her. First her brother had been killed and the man she had loved for most of her life had simply turned his back and had barely spoken a full sentence to her. And now that same man seemed to have found more trouble as if he had been fishing for it. Katherine shook her head placing the cup down back on the table giving the young Shelby woman’s hand a small squeeze. “But in the meantime I look forward to hearing all about how sweet and kind Freddie is.” At the mention of Freddie Thorne, Ada's cheeks began to flush, the usual reaction when the man was pulled into the conversation or whenever Ada told her friend of the latest escapades the two had gotten into. Katherine watched as Ada continued to talk about how much she loved Freddie and the latest times they had to meet up in secret, the forbidden romance felt like a dream she had had once. She had been so young when she first met him but those blue eyes of Thomas Shelby would forever haunt her. She was sure she would die with the image of his eyes, his smile permanently imprinted into her thoughts. She had been so angry with him, the sting of her slap across his face still stung her hand when she thought about it for too long. Of course when she had heard of what he found she wanted to try to knock some sense into him.
And now she had a sinking feeling in her gut that felt like it was growing larger and larger each time she tried to swallow. Leave it to the most clever man she knew to bring down the eye of the government, the IRA, and god knows who else by finding and taking those guns.
Thomas fucking Shelby.
Those words rang in her mind when her man had told her, they rang when she confronted Charlie Strong and Curly. And once she had left Ada making her way down the street and heard of his stunt with the Chinese in a show to gather more bets. Any time she had tried to tell Thomas that he was getting into things he had no business doing, he would tell her that it “wasn’t women’s business” and would drop it at that, leaving Katherine to stare at him in a mix of frustration and continued heartache.
Katherine began to make her way to the Garrison pub for her usual one drink with Harry giving a small nod and smile to the people she passed and in return would gain her own “Mrs. Shelby” greeting. She had grown numb to the nickname and had given up on correcting those that continued to use it and she decided to see it as a type of shield. No one fucked with the Peaky Blinders and the Shelby name went a long way in Small Heath. If Thomas had taught her anything it was to appear as calm and unbothered as possible when inside you just want to shoot something, or rather someone.
“Welcome in my lady, your usual?” Harry said, placing a glass down on the bar once Katherine had entered. She made her way to the middle of the bar and took her usual seat. “Yes please, Harry.” Katherine gave the older man a kind smile and glanced about the pub. The usual bar flies were about four glasses in and only acknowledged her with a simple nod or not at all. “How have you been Harry? Haven’t been given any trouble have you?”
“None, miss. Mostly the occasional drunkard fight but it ends well enough.” Harry placed the Irish whiskey down for the Redwine and leaned on the bar top. “You look as if you need a good drink and a good sleep.” Katherine huffed a laughed at her friend’s words and shrugged taking a sip from the amber liquid. “Don’t I always look this way?” She teased tilting her head. She had always enjoyed Harry’s company; he was kind in his own way and cared for the Garrison like it should have been. This was home and he had taken care of her when she had gotten so drunk she hadn’t been able to stand and he made sure that she would never reach that low again. He had made Katherine promise to not lose herself in her grief or heartbreak. He had been the father figure that she needed after Patrick had been killed.
“Kat, don’t bullshit me.” Harry shook his head. Katherine spun her glass slightly, his gentle but stern tone was comforting in a sense. It was the same tone he had when he found her in the private room that Thomas always used. She had broken down and cried in Harry’s arms and was more whiskey than person and she was sure her breath could have caused an explosion if she lit a match. Earlier that day they had held a service for Patrick and it had really hit her that he was gone, her big brother, her protector was nowhere to be found. Just like her Tommy, sweet happy Tommy who was able to light up a room with his smile and whose laugh was contagious seemed to have died the same night. Harry had listened as she cried and mourned the lives lost and dreams that were crushed but once she was done he picked her up and helped her upstairs and cleaned her up and put her to bed. He had banned anyone giving her any kind of alcohol in the Garrison until she was able to function. He would be damned if the sweet girl turned into one of the men he served. “I’m fine Harry, I promise.” Katherine was touched as he watched her but before he could comment the doors to the Garrison were pushed open as the one man who she couldn’t stand walked through in the most attention way he could have.
Fucking Thomas.
(It will get better I promise but let me know what you think!)

saw your oc and not surprised that it’s a child. no wonder aoex fandom has so much pedos in it that have child characters. go and delete yourself
okay normally I don’t answer on those hate messages but this one is personal so I try my best to explain what happened to me somehow idk my English is not the best and I’m not used to talk about personal stuff online.
🌼
Hi! My name is Pax and I’m receiving hate messages since I started posting art of my favorite character from Blue Exorcist.
At first it was only on twitter. I started posting around a year ago and then people sent me messages like how they hate Arthur. I wasn’t used to be part of a fandom so I thought it was kinda normal. I just blocked the people and yes it became calmer after that. Then it started on tumblr too. I love to get questions where I can draw something in return but I also got anon questions that are just rude or weird. Luckily you can block anons too but somehow they always come back to me after a small amount of time and tbh idk what I do wrong.
I am ignoring, deleting and blocking those all the time. Don’t get me wrong I really don’t care much but saying stuff like I’m a pedo is WRONG just because I have a child OC. I’ve never drawn him in any romantic way and I’ll never do. I don’t even think about that. Why should I? OCs are often like own children and my oc Kingo is like my own son. He was originally created for a roleplay where Arthur decided to adopt him after a lot of things happened to him. They are only father and son and they love each other because Arthur is trying to be a really good dad like he always trying to do his best with no matter what he do. The point is Kingo became my OC after I got the diagnosis that I’d never be able to get own children after trying it for 4 years. It was my dream even if a lot of people couldn’t imagine how important it can be for a woman who really wants this. I build a house where everything should be safe for my future child. Getting this result of all my tests and my health conditions was a shock I’ll never get fully over it even if I pretend. My relationship broke after 8 years and I never felt so useless.
This is the reason why I created my OC Kingo. Not because I am a pedo or something wtf. It was because I found consolation in having a fictional son and that he has a family that cares about him. Thats why Kingo will always be a very special OC and I get very emotional when it comes to him.
I know I don’t need to explain myself and who the fuck is gonna read that text hmm but yes. Stop hating me I just wanna do art. Nothing more. You’re annoying go out and do something nice instead of hating each other ✨

Trigger Warning : Angst and light violence!
Once a thriving palace, now no more
A curse rotting on its forgotten shore.
With vines of roses, a prick of dread,
its valiant hero has lost its head.
One good heart yet remains on this stage,
the last of royalty in a thorny cage.
Between the gnarled thicket of thorns and roses lay the skeleton of a broken castle. Where there had once been music and light, now empty, the joy constricted out of its lungs by brambles that grow thicker everyday. The tall spires are a ghoulish color of oxidized bronze, the rusted greenish blue that slowly creeps into every crevice, every nook. Soon the tall sentry towers will be swallowed by thorns and roses as well. At one time, perhaps this would paint a prettier picture in the mind's eye, of somewhere lonely and enticing. Yet living here, amongst the flowers and thorns, there is no joy. The curse that settled here, has not only spread wings over the land, but also has curled itself tightly into the heart of man. A living breathing, misery.
There are nicks and notches on the columns in the throne room, scrawling across the wood until whoever scrawled them could reach no higher. The tracking of days, months, and years that have gone by. Other things are sprawled across the floor. Pots, pans, flint, firewood, books dull with age and a small bejeweled dagger. It was strange to look around and see home, yet also realize it was a ghost of what had been. I shook out the map in my hands, staring at the places in the castle that had been drawn and the red marks I had made later as I ran out of possible exits, until lastly. . . was the courtyard.
The courtyard could lead to a potential escape, with food dwindling and supplies running out, it was one of the easier exits to take, except for one problem.
I blink, glancing up as a forlorn howl makes me shudder.
Yes. One problem, one very big problem.
I rose to my feet cautiously and tiptoed to one of the broken windows. My heart squeezed in my chest as I took a deep breath. The shambling form appeared by the broken fountain outside, his nose up in the air and snuffling, looking for prey. His eyesight is long gone, with thorns overgrown around his face, the spiders web of vines across him giving him an additional severity to the armor he wore. A tattered cloak dragging behind him as he began to limp his way through the courtyard.
“Edrick.” I whispered in a short breath. Gods, everytime I looked upon him my heart convulsed with pain. Edrick with the amber eyes and fluffy ears I used to play with when we were just children. I, a spoiled child and he, whose father before him was a knight. Edrick, who followed in his fathers footsteps, bathed in golden light on the day he kneeled before the throne to be knighted. Edrick whose tail would wag with joy, even though it caused him to be embarrassed.
Edrick, now this shambled rabid beast who snapped and snarled. Who pounced on those too weak to fight back. A perversion to everything he once stood for.
I mourned the loss of my friend for as long as the curse has been on this land. While I had made many sacrifices to survive now, I could never bring myself to face Edrick. Too many memories. The realization that I had to choose my own survival over a loved one, made my heart feel as though it had begun to rot inside my chest.
I told myself again and again, a tome from the wizards dreamhold might be able to aid me to break this curse, and save Edrick from his fate. Yet the tower was on the other side of the courtyard, and the loop of problems came back full circle. From what I had observed, Edrick was blind from the crowny vines across his face, and used his nose to make up for this lack of sight. While that perhaps might give me the smallest glimmers of hope, his sense of smell was more acute than a human’s could ever be. Back from that onslaught of memories I watch him now, sniffing- lumbering back and forth while he makes a slow but steady zig zag towards the window.
I cautiously stepped back, folding up the map and putting it into my satchel. I stayed quiet as I tip toe back to my belongings, I retrieve the dagger from its place on the floor. I reclaim the flint and not much else. If I took too many things it would only slow me down, but once I arrived at the other side, I would have to scout for new resources.
Dear sweet Edrick, I hope you forgive me.
I crept along the throne room, watching Edrick shamble alongside me, his mouth open and panting, his chest heaving greedily. I pulled old clothes from the satchel, gave one last glance to the figure outside before slamming the back of the dagger into the window. Edricks ears shot up, and he gave a scream of triumph as I threw my old clothes out the broken window. Hearing the cloth being shredded apart, I ran for the door. Pushed my back into the sturdy wood, arms strained, it opened stubbornly and I sprinted out onto the cobbled path. I heard another scream soon enough, this one enraged and bloodthirsty. I jumped the fountain and stumbled as I heard the loud snap of teeth from behind. Just a breath of air away from me, I felt that great head lunge and miss, tears spilled from my eyes as I continued to run.
With a strength I didn’t know I possessed had overtaken me, and the snapping jaws were gone as the door to the tower closed with a deep shudder.
I slid onto the floor, in a heap, shoulders jerked as the throb of my heartbreak squeezed, pulsated from my throat. I gasped, and clutched my throat with two hands, an attempt to stifle the sounds that threatened to break free. I rocked slowly back and forth, teeth clenched, another hum of pain and heartbreak skittered from me.
I want Edrick back, my sweet Edrick, the man I had wanted to marry.
It took me a while to calm myself down, I breathed deep garbled breaths that made my lungs ache with the effort.
I will find a way to fix this. I have to.
My legs shook but I rose to my feet, I replaced my dagger into my satchel, numb fingers fumbling in striking the flint. My hands shook as I made attempt after attempt, then finally, a spark of fire ignited one of torches on the wall. With a dim orange light the darkness around me receded ever so slightly, I could make out the foggy steps that spiraled around the core of the stone tower.
“May the Goddess light my path.” I whisper softly, letting my flint drop into my satchel as I take the torch with both hands, and carefully ease it from its place upon the wall.
If I could make it to the top. I may be able to find something that could help. But what if there is no cure? As far as I could remember, this new life had foggily overtaken the other, hazy halcyon days now a phantom of my old life. The curse began and Chivall, the royal advisor to the king, had immediately set about trying to procure a solution. He had been locked away for days within the tower. As the thorns slowly choked life from the palace. As fights began to break out, as the palace grounds became an awful chess board, the tower remained a silent sentinel. He can't still be alive can he? Perhaps if Chivall is no longer here, at the very least, his studies still may be. I can't believe whatever entity is plaguing the Kingdom wouldn't destroy his work. I can't give up hope now. I am one step closer to a solution. One step closer.
The slow ascend with my whirling thoughts left my legs shaky, and my breathing shallow. I stood facing the door, pausing to reclaim by breath before my fingers and palm slid flat against the dark wood. I braced my arms and slowly pushed it open. A slow high wheeze as it swung on unused hinges.
The room was deserted, there were signs of a struggle with overturned papers and chairs. Many of the wizards' curiosities were left unscathed gathering dust. Except for the beautiful glass bird who had been one of his favorite curios. It sat broken in a corner, one wing still somewhat intact. The feathers fanned open as if it had been knocked out of the air from mid flight. The room held a heaviness swathed in the air, with a sour smell that pressed uncomfortably against the back of the throat. There were dark brown stains on the floor, someone had been forcibly dragged from the tower. Though where they had gone was not known. I step over the dried blood, with my gaze swiveling around the room. It was not ransacked, many things were left as it was when it had been while occupied. So perhaps, there was still a small glimmer of hope to be had.
I light a few of the other torches within the room, before settling the one in my hand into a metal wall sconce and replacing the unlit torch onto a table stacked with books. I turned over the scattered pages to reveal they are blank, then I began to pull open drawers, reaching an arms deep into the cabinets with fingers splayed searching for hidden panels.
Perhaps they had been taken before they could find a solution. Perhaps there is no solution to be had.
I shook the stray thought away and continued the search. Bending over to take a look at the undersides of drawers, precariously perched on a chair as I pull books from a high shelf. I kept my ears tuned into my surroundings, listening for any sounds that would give me cause to beat a hurried retreat.
I resolve my search to stand in the middle of the room, empty handed. "There's nothing here." I let myself whisper those words, the words that leaden my chest and make my breath struggle to escape. I close my eyes, squeezing them tightly as I feel the world fragment and go dark around me.
And even if there was something to be found. Would I even be able to identify it?
There is a soft coo of a dove that causes me to start at the sound, eyes flying open. I look up to the rafters and see nothing. It is silent for a beat before I hear new sounds, a scraping across the floor, that has my hand flying to my satchel. My eyes land on the glass bird as it attempts to move, its large opalescent eyes staring up at me.
The bird is enchanted, I never knew.
I grab a cloth to pad my hands and carefully attempt to right the creature, it's one wing brokenly trying to tuck itself against the bird's body. Warbling weakly as it nestles into my hands. Poor creature. It's master is gone and without them it will surely lose what magick it has left.
"I am sorry I cannot help you," I whisper softly to the bird. "I have no magick to aid you."
The glassy feathers lift up in a comfortable way and their eyes slowly close, settling down into a comfortable nap. Then, before my eyes, the area within the glass turns a rainbow of prismatic colors before the bird's form starts to melt in my hands. Changing and contorting, reshaping itself to become a broken wizard's staff, with the opalescent eyes becoming a round orb of shifting color that resides at the very top.
My heart starts beating faster, hands trembling as I hold this new found object. An object that may very well change the tides of the castle's predicament. If only I knew how to utilize it. I feel more and more perplexed watching the staff with anticipation to see if any new revelations come with its new form. Yet the staff remains silent, its unearthly presence making my hand tingle with strange energy.
I have never held any kind of magickal implement before. I had been curious about magick truly, but was not allowed to study such things. Magick was for those who could wield it, and those who did not have the gift would never dare to try. My plan was short sighted at best, but now I could truly feel the scope of its foolishness. I was far out of my depth yet, it was the only option I could think of to be a potential balm.
"I. . . do not know how to utilize your gift." I chose to speak earnestly, talking to the staff as if it were a close companion. "I know not of these things, but I know your old master was a wise and loving creature. One who had been trying to break this curse, please. . ." I pause hesitating, "Dear staff, lend me your wisdom so that I may finish what he started."
There is a whoosh of wind that scatters papers into a vortex. The wall sconces fire turning blue and flaring up towards the ceiling. Standing in the eye of the storm I grip the staff with both hands, eyes as round as saucers as the room rights itself. Papers settle back into neat piles, chairs right itself with invisible hands, the table flipping back onto its feet. I gawk at the room, the room I remember, with its perfectly precarious stack of books and curios shining and dusted. A trick? A jump in time? Or simply magick doing what it does best. I had no answers. Yet I ran to the wizards desk as I saw papers in a neat stack, one hand spreading them across the table.
Diagrams I could not read, but clever letters that talked about the possibility to enchant an item to be used to severe the rampant magick from its host. It's a dark and powerful kind of spell. Chivall had written in their looping writing. Not only can said curse breaker be used to cut curses and sever spells, it can be used in various other terrible ways. It can steal the magick from others by cutting off the hand of a fellow magickian. It is a last resort, and I am hesitant to bring such an object into being. Only if I know that I can destroy it once its grisly task is over do I even dare to consider this. If it fell into the hands of someone who has naught a thought for anyone but themselves, I shudder to think what kind of monster would be created then.
My eyebrows furrow. Letting those words sink in. Dangerous and a solution not to be taken lightly, but I did not see any other way. "Can this be made still?" I asked the staff. I looked back to read and reread the passage. It cuts curses and severs spells. Such wording sounds like a blade. I hesitantly reach for my satchel and free the dagger from it's confines. Placing it upon the table. "Will this do?"
There is a spark of light from the staff once more, a brightness that makes me twist my head away and close my eyes. The lines of ink upon the paper turning gold and shimmering. As the light fades my eyes flicker to the dagger. The golden blade is now a brilliant molten red, heat radiating off of it in waves. As it dulls back to its original coloration the staff seems to crumble within my hand. Ribbons of white prismatic color flaking off as it coils in upon itself. The magick object shifts yet again, until it is a small white opalescent pendant that softly falls into my palm. I take a deep uneasy breath.
Fingers slowly curl around the gem, pressing my forehead against my fingers. “Thank you for your gift.” I murmur softly, for a moment the world is at a stand still. I stare from the necklace to the golden dagger on the table. I bow my head and respectfully let the silver chain drop around my shoulders, the white opalescent gem glinting a fiery blue as it rests against my collar bone. It still feels strange, a thrum that makes my skin prickle as my thumb worries against the stone. Then, with a hesitant touch, I hesitantly tap the blade of the dagger. It is cool to the touch, despite being molten red only moments ago. Fingers sliding cautiously around its handle before their grip tightens and my knuckles bulge.
The tower room is left behind, pristine and silent. Looking down to the stairs below, from where I stand, it is like a gaping maw with crooked teeth leading me back down, down, down.
What if I fail? Or worse yet, what if I have to kill him? I can see my hands, my hands, my hands. My hands and the hilt of the dagger gleaming. The blade plunged into his chest. The strangled gasping of breath. Gods what if I have to kill him. Could I live with myself? Could I bare to live with myself if I did? I don't know, I don't know. He wants to kill me. He attacked me, chased me. He doesn't know me anymore. Is that true? Or course it is. If he loved me, like before he would have stopped. Why does he not remember me? Why does he not remember? I don’t understand. I just don’t. Could I live with myself if [ I open the door. ] I had to kill him? Perhaps I could then take the blade and end my own existence as well. Then at the very least perhaps we could find each other once more. Gods, I can't bear to think about that. I can't think about that. Stop it! Stop it! You can't do this to yourself! But the blade gleams wickedly and blood pools onto the ground. My knees are soaked, my face is splattered. His hand reaches for me. Stop it. His hand reaches for me before it falls. Stop it. It falls to the ground and stills. Stop it. There is nothing I can do. There is nothing I can do. All I can do is watch. I won't let that happen. How can you stop it? I won't let that happen, I won't, I won't, I won't let that happen. How can you stop it?
I move as if within a dream, stepping back into the light of the outside world. The courtyard is grey. An abysmal, haunting grey, where phantoms of the past hour chasing each other in my mind. Yet, there are no signs of life here. There is no bird song, no sounds other than my footsteps clicking on stone. I do not hear Edrick, and my senses are strung so tightly they are at risk of fraying. I hold the dagger to my breast with both hands. Both hands clench so tightly that they prickle and ache. The only thing grounding myself to this moment, this space of time, the ache. I look left and then right, pivoting on my heel in a slow circle. No sign. There is no sign of him, and no sign of where he would have gone. I start moving slowly, my heart beating in my throat. My eyes locked on the stone edge of what I could see. I turned the corner and I see his looming shape lumbering like a bear towards me. Chest panting, mouth open, excited.
"Edrick," I rasp past the lump in my throat, watching his lip peel back and show those rows of teeth. I swallow hard, as my whole body shakes with nerves. "Plea-Please Edrick. Come to your senses, I don't want to fight you, I-I love you."
It was absolute mockery, the sneer of that wide split mouth. Then he lunged, without reply. My chest rising and falling quaking all over. I unsheath the dagger and plead to whatever Goddess is watching that my hand strikes true. I turn tail and run, hoping that the fountain will be enough of an obstacle that it will buy me more time. Then the world goes sideways. The ground rushing up to meet me. I have just enough time to turn, to twist onto my back as Edrick's maw sunk savagely into my leg. Vision blurring at the edges there is a high dull scream, a sound in my throat that I barely recognize as it sounds so far away. Seeing pops of color behind my eyes. I slip the dagger between the vines that crown his eyes and pull. The vines snapping in the blades wake.
Edrick reels backwards, jaw slack as he immediately lets go of me. His big furry hands fly to his face, which in my hazy vision I catch a glimpse of red where his eyes should be. All along his form, the vines begin to shrivel and grey, the deep saturated blood colored roses crumple and wither into blacked husks. Edrick stumbles, teetering on the brink before he collapses to the ground. My hand shakes so much that my fingers cannot keep a hold of my blade. I begin to crawl towards him on hands and knees, blade dropped and forgotten. "Edrick?" My throat is so tight that I can barely manage to make the words escape me.
"My. . . love?" His voice is ragged, and hasn't been used in a very long time. "My eyes, what has happened to my eyes?" A shudder runs through him, and his face lifts out of his hands, nose scenting the air. I freeze in place, blinking back tears.
"Why do I smell blood?"
I make a strangled sound, and Edrick unsteadily gets to his feet, nose twitching, fluffy eyebrows drawn together. "Is. . . are you hurt? Who has done this to you?"
That being the turning point in which I cry. I finally, finally can let myself cry. The fear, the pain, the relief, a torrent of emotions I can no longer push back for the sake of survival. Edricks hands outstretched as he slowly makes his way back towards me. One steady foot patting its way across the tile before he takes a step. He moves wearily, and unsure, one searching step after another, he finds the rim of the fountain, using it to feel his way to me. I look at his face, his eyes, and cry even harder. Desperately grabbing his hand and holding it tightly.
"What has happened?" Edrick whispers, his own voice tight and unsure. He crouches and I painfully push myself up to sit on the stone ledge. My leg burning from the bite.
"Do you not remember?" I force the words out, behind a heaving breath. "No. . ." He replies softly before giving a growl. I freeze, before gently taking his other paw to stop him from swiping at his eyes.
"D-don't, you'll make it worse," I hesitate, before saying, "Something. . . has gored your eyes. . ." He is quiet, processing the information, a hand straying to his cheek before his fingers clench. I reach up, cupping his furry cheeks in my hands, my forehead resting against his.
"What was it?" He rasps, and my heart breaks, at the emotion that colors his voice.
"I don't truly know. . . A spell of some kind. A similar spell that has woven its way across the castle ground." Ed growls and I jolt without meaning to.
"I can't remember, why can't I remember?" He shakes his head from side to side, as if willing the fog in his mind to clear. "Why do you smell. . . so afraid?"
I swallow and feel ashamed. What should I say? What can I say? I purse my lips together, squeeze my eyes shut. "A lot of things have changed, since you've been away."
Edrick tilts his head, "I don't understand."
"Edrick. . ." I say, my voice a hoarse whisper. "I think we are the only two left alive in the castle."
Edrick tenses, and I release a shaky breath. "How can that be?" He asks, instead of responding right away, I wrap my arms around him, and hold him closer. "I am not sure myself," suddenly I feel as if I am lead. "The palace. . . is no longer safe. It has fallen to ruin while you have been gone. The castle is overgrown with. . . these briar vines and roses. There have been dangers lurking in the castle, at one point the vines had a will of their own, the guards were dragged away, people began to disappear until there weren't many of us left."
His arms wrap around me as well, and we stay huddled together for what feels like hours. I wished Edrick and I could stay together like this for eons more. Mourn our past lives, our losses, lick our wounds. It isn't safe to do so, not yet. Not while this labyrinth of danger was the cage we reside. I relent and gently pull away.
"Wait, wait right here," I squeeze their hand before going to search the grounds. The bite causes me to limp, but I can still walk, a blessing in its own right. I find a broken spear, one without its blade. Making my way back I give it to Edrick, pressing it to his palm and folding his large fingers around it. He takes it in his hands.
"What is this. . .?"
"To help you feel your way. Tapping the cobbles with the staff to make sure the space is safe to tread."
I take his free paw, to kiss his knuckles, "And I shall be your eyes." Edricks tufted ears are up and alert. I struggle to bend down and reach for the dagger at my feet, resting at the fountain to cut my sleeve into ribbons.
"You have changed," Edrick said softly. "You have always been clever, ever since we were children, but where is the coquette I once knew?" I took a deep breath, and hesitated on what to say.
"For a long time I was convinced I had lost you." The dots of white that marked his brows knit together. I nervously put my arms past his great head, softly tying the makeshift bandage around his poor eyes.
"The past fears I had," I run my hand up and down his arm as I spoke. "Pales in comparison to these last months, and if we make it out alive. . . I will carry you myself to the chapel." Edrick grins at that, ferocious teeth pulled back. It makes me tense, but I refuse to let go of him. "Then let us see to that quickly my love, I can already hear those bells… Tell me what I must do."
We may be battered, but we are not yet beaten.

I loved you dangerously
hello sorry for being so inactive! I’ve been busy with school and everything :(
pov : You loved him dangerously.
Genre : angst / comfort
tw : reader dies
interesting plot twist
Never have you dared to even think for a second that you could be Gojo Satoru’s love. Gojo Satoru does not love. At least that’s what he’s shown to you. He is kind to anyone but you. Can 2 souls really be happy at the end of the day?
All his teasing, all his jokes and even a playful wink was enough to send you butterflies. How can you even dream of being by his side? Ever since the star plasma vessel mission, he’s never opened his heart deeply anymore. Not even to you.
What did it even mean to risk your life for someone? How can you even tell? You would do anything, as ridiculous as it may sound - Gojo Satoru is the strongest. He does not need your life. He is the law, truth and justice of this world.
“I think I have feelings for you” I spoke to him
the air between us froze. I looked up at him as he smiled awkwardly
“…don’t be offended y/n…I do not reciprocate such feelings…” gojo awkwardly responded back
Of course. Gojo Satoru does not love. He never says sorry, that is not in his vocabulary. How can you expect him to love you back? How can you even expect him to say “sorry, I do not reciprocate your feelings” as much as it would sting less than the words he spewed out.
These feelings are dead. They shouldn’t exist.
“…Y/n…” gojo found you, dying at your mission that was assigned to you, he holds your dying body. What is that look in his eyes, can you at least cry for me? If I even dare to hope you do.
I look into his crystal blue eyes. How peaceful does my body feel right now? For 17 stabs in my stomach it sure felt painless.
“..I’m sorry for not being able to say this before…I love you too” Gojo spoke silently… “…don’t die y/n…y/n…”
My eyes widened…before I let out a small smile. “I know Satoru…I know”
“…say…it’s the 28th October right?” I spoke
Gojo nods
….………
“Well then…be careful…something big may happen in 3 days” I spoke as I drew my final breath leaving gojo confused…
The air felt thin. I never saw the broad daylight again. Sakuras covered the ground as I opened my eyes in a bed of sakuras. I feel no pain. But…a sick feeling left here.
“ahahaha… y/n died? That’s unfortunate I was thinking she could be of big use in 3 days…why did you kill her?” A playful voice spoke out..patchface. Blue hair.
“Don’t be ridiculous, she’s useless now anyways” Jogo spoke “just carry out the initial plan we had for Shibuya, October 31st…remember..what we are doing”
Yes, as sick minded as I was…Gojo Satoru, would you really think I would allow myself to die in vain when we have never had a single romantic moment together? Yes. I love you……
Dangerously enough that I want you to die with me
But I also love you enough to also spark hope that you will survive…if you even want to take my warning well, you might live or please…die and come with me.
Yes, I love you. Dangerously enough that I want others to kill you so you die with me
author note : yes! The reader is insane in this. The reader does team up with kenjaku and his team for the shibuya incident.. 👀. My next fic will be more for a comfort one! Hopefully I’ll have time to write it :D
