Had an itch to draw Mortifer and Nikara because I was thinking about them teaming up so now it's the annual Warlock of the Year party and the theme is fur coats (I imagine Vincent's is faux but the other two who really is to say)

I do wonder how they would interact in a situation where both of them and Vincent are all lurking around the same party. Vincent and the gang attending the same awards party as both of Van Ghoul's exes would be a fun concept I think.

It's funny how I use colour coding differently for different languages. Japanese is an orange-lime-purple language and I the colours denote pitch accent. Norwegian is a red-blue-forest green language and the colour matches gender.

#language library #chough chatterings #langblr #pretty sure blue/red is how i was taught in school when learning french and then blue/red/green when i started german #so it probably comes from that #when i originally started with pitch accent colour coding i used orange/pink but it didn't feel right so i tried lime #and it works!#it's also why danish/dutch/swedish feel uncomfortable for me because they use common/neuter #and common gender is an ugly splotchy dark navy/indigo kinda colour #i tried using purple but again it just felt wrong and i couldn't force myself to associate with any other colours either #like you'd think red + blue = purple so common gender would be purple #and i love purple! it's my favourite colour!#but nope. it's blehhh. like it can't decide what it wants to be and it doesn't fancy either option anyway
