Eurovision Sucks And We Should All Boycott It For All The Years To Come

Firstly, EBU has a long standing opposition towards patriotism and ethnicity.

In 2016 they banned Kosovo flags because "Kosovo flag is rightfully banned as it is not part of EBU and not an official country".

This year, 2024, they banned all and any show of solidarity with Palestine in order to remain non-political.

However, by choosing to stay non-political, they choose a political side. The wrong one.

They have done it with Kosovo and are doing it with Palestine as well.

If the people that rightfully stand (tall and proud) with Palestine and its people were really so wrong, why does a flag, a keffieyh around someone's wrist threaten them so much?

Why is it a political stance?

This isn't only a political issue, to its core it is a humanitarian one.

Children are murdered, raped, mutilated, bombed.

Women are also murdered, raped, mutilated, bombed. Hygienic products are withdrawn from them which can lead to so many health issues.

Men are held captive, tortured, murdered, starved, mutilated, bombed.

The last kind of issue this is, it is a political one.

The politicians are making it politic so they can profit from this.

It’s almost laughable in how shamelessly evil they are. How is this a real thing happened in real world? And this is not even half of the worst they’ve posted. Again, they are not shy about being fucking-absolutely-morally-bankrupt and vile beyond description. To hell with Israel.

This is a fucking country accepted in UN? Well I guess North Korea is also accepted in UN, but you know what, at least NK is wildly recognized as a evil piece of shit that no self-respective country want to associate with. How about the same treatment for Israel? What’s the difference between NK and Isnotreal is simply western governments’ hypocrisy. Countries should cut diplomatic ties with Israel.

They are pretty much useless with their weak objections of “but humanitarian concerns…” and even that is not prevalent, while Israel is basically calling them crybabies, as well as laughing at the entire world, while continuing to commit flagrant humanitarian atrocities and war crimes. We’ve been told lies. It was always a jungle.

Those with stronger weapons, like US with their nuclear submarines, can do whatever the fuck they want. Human Rights and Universal Values are just their decorations and camouflage.

Humanity is losing faith in face of this on-going Western-supported genocidal atrocity.

While I am happy that the Hague's ruling is leaning towards a condemnation of Israel, we can't relent in our efforts.

Not only because this is merely a preliminary ruling, but because the ICJ does not have executive power over the Israeli occupation. The IDF is free to violate their ruling at any time, at the cost of being deemed international criminals, which has never stopped them before.

Moreover, even if the Israeli government complied, the legal outcome alone is a return to the status quo. Gaza was under siege long before 2023, and the apartheid still stands.

I am not trying to discourage you: this is an unprecedented amount of support behind Pro-Palestinian advocacy, and we now have to decide if we'll use this opportunity to work towards the end of Israeli occupation of Palestine, or walk away from the issue now that the genocide is reeled back in.

So if you're tired, if you're drained, please, let this small victory embolden you and let's double our efforts.
