Genuinely being a single woman in my thirties, living alone, is such a mixed blessing sometimes. I do love my house and when I'm here I literally never want to leave. But on the other hand, I do get tired of leaving to go hang out with people, even though I love seeing them. Especially because I have such a great group of friends but they live all over the place, geographically, and therefore most of them don't know each other. And I actually really love hosting? But I never have people in my house because logistically it's always more practical for me to go to them than vice versa.

But sometimes I buy new old dishes and wanna just have a little fancy wizard party, but all my guests are far away. Please may I have the teleport spell. Or a high-speed commuter rail system.

We had a very fun oneshot with some of the Dragonlance crew, and I got to run my first bard! Woodwind, a warforged College of Whispers Bard. :) She also has a flute, but the imagery of a wind chime headpiece struck me so fast I had to commit to it. She was very fun to play, very poised and spooky, and definitely a PC I’ll play again when possible.

See, she thought she heard people laughing and whispering in the crowd—turns out it was one of those ghosts she's been ignoring for years. The sheer embarrassment was enough for her to skip town for a while.

So... I had a dnd session and my friends and I... told a guard that our group of misfits were known as "Gingersnaps battalion". To be fair, everyone is a red head or close to it, all except my character Lyra who has white hair. And my friend made A BUNCH of memes in our discord. It's hilarious. And Lyra is a drinker.
