The Encounters - Locker Room; June 26th, 2017

Brad was finishing up his 4-hour long workout session, like any other day (every day of the week), when some shorty with some toned muscles and a tight ass walked up to him and asked, "Hey, big guy, you need any help gettin' washed up? Watched you the whole time out there, you damn muscle hog. I know for a fact you can't reach behind that huge back of yours."

Brad was never one to refuse a bit of attention from a thirsty twink, so he agreed. "Just be careful, lil' man. You don't want me gettin' riled up." As they started walking toward a stall, Brad then mentioned, "You're only helpin' me with the bod', bro. I was plannin' on jackin' it since I'm all packed and juiced from my sesh, and you ain't gettin' that." The twink smirked. "Whatever you say, big guy."

Why Brad ever thought he had control of the situation is beyond any listener that hears this from the gym desk agent that had to escort a completely-spent Brad out from the completely clogged and coated shower. Things started smoothly enough, the two of them playing a bit of dress-down, the twink feeling like he was working at a car wash more than helping a massive beefcake wash all his nooks and crannies. His hands started traveling, though, and surely enough, a particular grazing of Brad's inner thigh made him snap to attention but already reeling from the sensation. "B-bro... you gotta be c-careful... for fuckin' real! These are compression so my horse cock ain't floppin' out of my shorts while I'm pumpin' iron! E....e-expensive, man!"

The twink grinned fiendishly as each word Brad muttered was accompanied by a thread of fabric snapping, ripping, as his enormous meat-rod surged forward to life, causing the twink to run in fear of being pierced on that impaler and not having the chance to tell the tale. He scurried away from the guttural, bass-y moans and thudding occurring in the stall as the virile bull went into a frenzy.

Kill the Director by erikschampion

My part in a gift exchange taking place in Renegade's California satellite server. This was a lot of fun and very experimental for me. My idea was to pursue something a little grunge, a little smudged, to go along with the early 2000s Brit punk vibe that the fic gets its title from. Spray paint, screen printing, some blood, some tears, and it's to its new home. Glamour and process shots under the cut!

The yellow base is a plain linen bookcloth that's been coated with acrylic. The pink accent color is a combo of spray paint and smudges of pink Golden Fluid acrylic paint. The endbands are sewn with Gutermann polyester florescent sewing thread, and the endpages are my attempt at an italian vein marble with pink, yellow, and black paint.

Some shots of the typesetting, and a video showing the book as a whole. The fic has some exposition written in a script format, so I typeset that to reflect. And it's always fun to include text message bubbles and emails and stuff.

The graphics on the case were done with screens and waterbased screen printing ink! I went through a few iterations and even tried to set my kitchen on fire in order to get it right before settling on the screens. I'm very very pleased with the result. (The fire was from my DIY attempt at making my own gelli plate with gelatin, glycerin, and rubbing alcohol. All the instructions were telling me to be careful about how many bubbles I was stirring into the mix but I was like, it'll be fine. I'll use my heatgun or a lighter to pop whatever bubbles are there. It works with resin so it should here. Yall alcohol is flammable lmao. Why did I do that. I put my lighter up to those bubbles and lost my vision for a moment at the flash of light. I've never done something that stupid)

The freshly marbled paper hanging up to dry in my kitchen; the screen for the front of the case; my practice piece including the spine design; the case drying on my shower rod (along with some pieces of fabric for another project lol). I have fewer process pictures than I thought lol.

The graphics on the front and back were also partially designed by hand. I printed images of the characters then cut them vertically, and alternated the slices. Copied that, then did the same horizontally. Scanned that, and then did some cleaning up digitally on my computer. Here's some shots of the steps and the pieces themselves.

The third picture shows my first attempt, as I actually did this process twice. The first time I didn't feel like the first pass was pixelated enough, so I cut it again both vertically and horizontally and alternated them once more. This was a mess, and ultimately I didn't like the finished result. Round two (second image) was the final round, and what wound up using in the project instead.

Summary: Evelyn experiences love for the first time and it's not who the Shelby family expect.

"I dried the flowers for you," Aunt Polly had said, pointing to the window behind Evelyn. She'd just come home from a morning walk. Taken aback, feeling her heart drop as if her secret was hanging by a thinning thread. She turned, seeing the bundle of red roses drying upside down tied to the curtain rod. "Ah, red roses-"

"Your favorite," Evelyn said, finishing the older woman's sentence. Forcing a smile, she continued, "but no, sadly. I picked them myself from the shop."

It was a believable enough lie until Finn stumbled into the parlor snorting about some boy. "Yeah, right, she and Novak have been eyeing one another-"

"Finn!" Evelyn took her cardigan folded neatly in her hands and whipped it at him. "Cut it out. Novak and I are simply acquaintances-"

"Oh yeah?" Finn laughed, catching the gray knitted cardigan in his hands, gently pulling it. "I never met two acquaintances so close-"

"What's this about Evie and Peter Novak?" her father asked, just hearing the tail end of the playful banter. Tommy hung his hat on the coat hanger followed by his jacket. A smoke hung on his bottom lip. "Thought I was clear, love, no boys until you're-"

"Thirty," Evelyn groaned. "I know, daddy, but it's not-"

"Oh, come off it, Thomas!" Polly groaned, pinching the younger man's side. "She's getting older and you need to loosen up." Tommy didn't like that very much, but Polly followed up with a, "invite him to dinner. I quite like Peter Novak. Compared to the rest of those boys, he's quite decent."

Tommy sighed, dragging his smoke from his lips. "I'll invite him-"

"And fuckin' scare him?" Polly asked. "No, I have a pair of shoes to drop off for his father....I'll ask him myself." Evelyn stood there, mortified. This gut wrenching guilt clenching her conscience. If only they knew it wasn't Peter Novak, the shoe maker's boy, that gave her the flowers.

everyone, meet CHIPS!

chips is a handmade alien clown puppet, my first ever puppet i made entirely on my own! he has a huge mouth plate with a collapsing eye in the center, two controllable arms, and he's just a silly little guy!

more info as to how i made it below if any fellow puppet makers are curious :~)

some specs:

the puppet's shell is entirely 1/2" reticulated foam, pattern drafted by me. the mouthplate is 1/8" plywood covered in 2mm eva foam. all the teeth, tongue, and texture-y detail in the mouth is foam clay! the eye in the mouth's center is a series of five wire arches hinged together with thread, covered in painted muslin! so it folds flat like an accordion when you close the mouth.

the mouth was primed with a mix of black and white plastidip to give it a speckled look, then painted with multiple thin layers of fabric paint. i sealed it all with angelus high gloss leather sealant (because it's what i had).

the puppet's arms contain shoelaces that feed through holes in the body and shirt and tie internally so that they are removable. each "hand" has a leather pocket hidden in the foam seam for the arm rod to be inserted. the arm rod, not pictured, is made of wood dowel and a wire coat hanger bent straight.

as for covering, i used joann's anti pill fleece in solid white and black. to get the stars, i used artesprix black sublimation paint (which is notably NAVY and not black...) on some sublimation paper to paint stars first. then, i cut them out and individually sublimated every single star onto the fleece with a heat press. this took a long time, but it came out super clean!

the fake button eyes and his crown are made of worbla, painted and sealed with a glossy acrylic medium.

He has his warded coat as well.

February 18, 2024 Update from the Battleship Texas Foundation

"BATTLESHIP TEXAS UPDATE

Battleship Texas at Sunset.

The last Dry Dock Tour date has been announced! They are filling up fast -book now for before this once in a lifetime opportunity is gone! https://battleshiptexas.org/plan-your-visit/

A quality control check was conducted on January 30th, 2024. Leaks were expected and the team has successfully located them. Several of the leaks were under the starboard after docking keel. To fix it requires removing the docking keel, fixing the hull, and installing a new docking keel. For structural support symmetry we are replacing the two after most docking keels. At this time we are only replacing the after two docking keels. We have a procedure for safely removing these blocks that will not structurally damage or compromise the ship.

Work will continue to ensure that Battleship Texas is leak free, right up until she goes back in the water. And keep working after that to keep Texas as internally dry as possible.

Starboard docking keel removed and doubler plating being installed, after original steel was blasted and painted.

Cross section of docking keel -they are supposed to be hollow structures with a frame every four feet and their bottom is made of a heavy channel beam with teak in the channel. This docking is filled with mud from San Jacinto.

The teak "shoe" of the docking keel -the teak is amazingly good condition. That's San Jacinto mud above the the teak.

The first restored 5"/51 gun has been returned to the shipyard. This is 5"/51 mount #13. The mount was successfully reinstalled on Saturday and the gun will be reinstalled Monday. The rest of the starboard side guns will be reinstalled over the next week or so, with the port side guns following.

The gun for 5"/51 mount #3 being landed back on the dry dock, in preparation for reinstallation.

The stand and carriage of 5"/51 mount #3 being brought into the air castle. All 9,000 lbs of it.

The carriage and stand for 5"/51 mount #3 back in place, awaiting its gun and final bolting down. Yes those are the threaded rods that holds the mount -they are 24"-30" long.

Repairs to the ship's Aft Fire Control tower are ongoing. The windows, which were removed years ago, will be replaced.

The pipe mullions and window frame strips are fitted in place and awaiting final weld out.

The deck drains on the port side of the foremast have largely been reinstalled, ensuring that water drains properly off the ship.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

WHAT’S NEXT? - Battleship Texas will remain at Gulf Copper Shipyard for until her new home is ready for her. Additional steel work, removal and replacement of the ship’s deck, and superstructure/aft fire control restoration will continue. Painting the topsides!

SPLASH! - The ship will be put back into the water in early March.

PAINT! - Battleship Texas was painted in the Measure 21 camouflage scheme prior to deploying to the Pacific Theater during World War II. At this time Battleship Texas is the ONLY museum ship painted in this camouflage scheme and only one of two battleships in their WWII measure. Yes, the rest of the ship will receive a new coat of paint prior to leaving the shipyard.

HULL NUMBERS/NAME - The new hull numbers and name board have been extensively researched so each number and letter is not only the correct font, but applied in the appropriate position as it was in 1945. The numbers have been applied to both bow and stern.

ANTIFOULING! - The ship’s hull has been coated with PPG SIGMASHIELD 880 GF. Historically the ship would be coated with an anti-fouling coat that is red in color, but that coating is no longer needed as the ship is stationary and antifouling is not need to keep the hull free of marine growth for efficient movement through the water.

KEEL BLOCKS - Yes, the keel blocks supporting Battleship Texas can be moved. Each block is moved so the area atop of them can be blasted, repaired (if need be), and coated.

WHAT ABOUT THE RUDDER? - The rudder will remain where it is. Funding is best spent elsewhere.

WILL THE SHIP RUN AGAIN? - No, the ship will never be able to run under its own power again.

TOURING? - The Battleship Texas Foundation is working on new touring opportunities before the ship reopens.

REOPENING? - There is a lot to be done before the ship is ready for touring at its new home in Galveston, Texas. Reopening is projected to happen sometime in the later half of 2025.

  Proverbs: God's Wisdom for Daily Living

Devotional Scripture:

Proverbs 31:19-20 (KJV): 19 She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. 20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. Proverbs 31:19-20 (AMP): 19 She lays her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. 20 She opens her hand to the poor, yes, she reaches out her filled hands to the needy (whether in body, mind or spirit).

Thought for the Day

Verse 19 - Having prepared her flax and wool, a virtuous woman spun them into thread, the next step in making clothes. Drawing fibers from a quantity of flax held on her distaff, she used her spindle to twist them together into a continuous strand. As linen thread formed, she wound it on the spindle. So constant an occupation was spinning in the ancient world, that distaff and spindle became symbols of an industrious woman. These tools symbolized a woman's love and care for her family.

A spindle is a small rod, and a distaff a short staff. They bring to mind the shepherd's rod and staff, which symbolize his care for his sheep. Psalm 23 pictures the Lord as the Great Shepherd caring for us as His flock. This beautiful Psalm has comforted countless people over the centuries, for Christ's care and selfless love give even greater security than that of a mother. A good shepherd causes his sheep to rest and graze in green pastures. He leads them where they can drink placid water. Sheep are frightened of running water, since their heavy woolen coats render them incapable of swimming. He restores our souls with the spiritual food of His Word and the living waters of His Spirit. He leads us in righteousness. Even when we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, He is with us. This place is not called the valley of death, but the valley of the shadow of death. Shadows look ominous, but they cannot harm us. We need to remember this when faced with any threat of death from the devil. Jesus came to give us life, not death (John 10:10). He also prepares a table from which we may eat even with enemies around us. When we stay close to our Shepherd, we experience such wonderful victories that our cups run over. He anoints us with the Holy Spirit, who empowers us to triumph in all things. All the days of our lives, He follows us with His goodness and mercy. I asked the Lord one time why goodness and mercy "followed us," instead of going before us. He spoke to my heart that "goodness and mercy" were behind us to catch us when we fall down. He is there to catch us and lift us back up, so we can continue on the path of the Lord. We are promised that we shall live in the security of His house forever.

Verse 20 - Bathsheba described the virtuous woman as prosperous and compassionate. Sometimes giving money is easier than giving our time. Whether a kind word or deed, the virtuous woman gives from her own stores of faith and knowledge, as well as from her material goods. This is one reason Bathsheba described such a woman as blessed, for the Lord promises blessing to those who give to the poor. One of the most important things Christians do at Christmas to celebrate the Lord's birth is to assist the poor. There is more joy in this than in giving gifts only to family members. Honoring Christ by obeying Him and helping others is a gift we can present to Him any time of year.

Dear heavenly Father, thank you for the account of the Proverbs 31 woman in the Bible. Lord, may we all be inspired by her virtue and love. Lord, may we be givers like she was. May we reach out not only to the poor and needy, but to all those who You lead us to help. Strengthen me to not only give of my money, but also to give of myself. May I share my faith, my love, and my time with those who need encouragement and help. Lord, help me to be sensitive to the needs of those around me and not to just walk by when someone needs the help that I could give them. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Clu had a entire microcycle to himself. No glitching reports. No meetings. And he swore if anyone came whining to him with some insignificant thing again, he was going to rip their tongue out.

The Admin wished that Dyson were here to spend time with him but the Guard had business in Argon. They had spent some time together the previous millicycle before Clu had commenced his sleep cycle. That had been a wonderful time. Just thinking about it made his circuits dust with lavender.

He gathered up a few items and brought them to his bed. He pulled off the blankets before settling on it. There was a good size interface rod but he knew that it would fit where he desired it, with some prep work of course. There was also a jar of a thick gel of unprocessed energy. He wouldn’t be able to do anything with ropes or blindfolds given this was a solo venture so he hadn’t bothered with them.

Clu removed his disc and selected a few things in the render option. When he replaced it, his suit derezzed completely leaving him in just his robe. He did derezz the front of it to leave his chest bare. His circuitry would need to breathe.

The Luminary first selected the jar and worked to coat his fingers in the slippery gel. This part was always easier with another person but Clu knew he could handle it on his own. He eased himself onto his back and started working on getting the first finger inside. It was difficult to be so patient but Clu didn’t relish the idea of being in pain afterwards.

Once the first finger was in, he moved it slowly. Partially to tease himself and partially to make sure he was thorough. On one thrust inside, he added in the second finger. A glance downward at his groin and he saw that a very gaudy purple shade was working it’s way upward past his waist.

He made a low moan when the last of three fingers joined the first two. He could feel the broad circuit on his pointer finger sparking when it made contact. And when that finger circuit brushed against his broad inner circuit, he moaned a bit louder and spread his thighs just a bit wider so he could have better access. He wanted a few more passes against that circuit and his body would thank him for the extra prepwork later.

Clu knew it was time. He removed his fingers from himself and settled the rod into a stabilizing base. The interface rod is coated in the gel and then Clu positions the tip of it against his loose opening. He teases himself by not taking in more than the bare minimum for the first initial movements before allowing himself to sink lower on it.

When he got halfway down on the rod, he felt an alert ping from the Sentries guarding the door that someone was seeking to see him. Someone who had threatened to override the door. There’s only one Program that would do such a thing and Clu managed to tell the guarding Sentries to not worry.

The Admin knew he had to be a sight. Flushed purple while partially seated on a rather large interface rod. So when Dyson entered into the room proper, ranting about how terrible the situation in Argon is, Clu is a bit surprised that hasn’t been noticed during the diatribe.

But then Dyson stopped his pacing and turned to look at just what exactly he had walked in on. Clu watched the Guard approach and gently touch his face. This close and the Luminary can make out the hard line of Dyson’s cock in his suit. His hands took a hold of Dyson’s hips to pull him closer to start mouthing at the bulge. The fabric didn’t have the best flavor ever but the feeling of heat just behind it was what he focused on. Clu felt Dyson’s fingers threading through his hair. “Would you like something more real inside you?” He heard Dyson ask and he nodded his head in reply. “Yes, Dyson.” 

Dyson stepped back to remove his disc. He disconnected the red light rope from it before replacing the disc into the port. He hissed whenever the rope made contact with one of his main circuits as the current was interrupted and then righted itself. The only circuit left untouched was the ladder of his rank. The Admin knew from experience how secure these bindings were so didn’t bother testing them.

A length of fabric was then tied over his eyes as the room went dark. He felt lips kiss his own, perhaps to reassure him. “You’ve done most of my work for me.” Dyson murmured against his lips. “Off.” Clu understood the simple command and lifted himself off the interface rod to be left with a feeling of emptiness. It must have shown because then the Guard was reassuring him with gentle touches.

The Luminary then felt himself being repositioned to rest on his bound arms. A pillow was placed under his hips to take some of the pressure off. Clu didn’t mind a few bruised voxels during play. But he was more focused on the feeling of his legs being spread wide and fingers testing his entrance. Three fingers pressed in easily and Dyson hummed low in approval.

“I would gag you but I don’t want to risk you overheating.” He heard Dyson comment as the Guard continued to test just how loose he was. It had always been an understanding between the two of them that the Admin had to be able to breathe unhindered during these sessions. “And it would be inconvenient to move you to the roof like this.” Dyson teased and Clu just imagine the smirk on the Guard’s face. “Besides, if I gag you, I won’t be able to hear the sounds you make when you’re like this. And I want to hear them. You want to be good for me don’t you?” Clu swallowed, knowing this game all too well and it was too easy for him to settle into character. “Yes, Marshall.”

Dyson issued another hum that seemed to reverberate through the Admin’s chest. “Good. And one more thing, I don’t want you to overload until I tell you to.” At first, the Admin became concerned but he put the necessary restrictions into place. He knew he was in good hands with Dyson.

Clu felt the Guard’s fingers withdraw from his body before he heard the Guard issue sounds of his own. A hiss followed by a series of low grunts and the Luminary could almost imagine Dyson touching himself to lube up his own cock. He felt his own cock twitch at the mental image but he couldn’t do anything about it and he issued a sound that Dyson would no doubt tease him over later.

You can overload.” Clu had just felt the blocks he had put into place crumble when Dyson’s thumb traced his right hip node. A few circles around the node and Clu was lost to his overload, going limp in his bindings. Nanos afterwards he felt heat flooding his insides before Dyson pulled out.

Clu felt the rope going slack before being removed and then the blindfold was removed. Dyson had dimmed the lights in the bedroom to provide a sense of security for the Admin.
