Self indulgent au where Fives and Tup encounter Dogma in the Inhibitor Chip / Clone Protocol 66 Arc. Also they all live.
Extra rough doodle that I felt it didn't really fit anywhere at the above (and also I messed up on the clean up and just got sad).

Forgive Me (Echo x Medic Reader) Part 11
Tumblr media
Words: 1.9K Warning: major character death, may course some readers to cry
"General, If I may, I don't think it would be a good idea to pull Snap into this" spoke Rex, care flooding the legendary captain's voice. In recent months things had gone array with the 501st. Commander Tano had chosen to leave the Jedi Order following being falsely accused and put on trial for a crime she hadn't committed. She'd explained her reasoning when visiting (Y/N), and both women were determined to keep their friendship going. After that Umbara had been cruel, to say the least, Pong Krell had been just as reckless with (Y/N)'s life as he had been with the troopers he dismissed so easily. There had been other nasty battles in between and so many troopers had been lost.
Recently something happened with Tup. He'd seemingly shot another Jedi General at point-blank range, all while in a trance-like state and muttering the same four words over and over. Good Soldiers Follow Orders. He'd been easily tackled and dragged away to safety by Fives when all were ordered to retreat. At first, Tup aggressively refused to allow anyone near him, even his brothers, Snap had been the first he'd not tried to attack, instead, he mentioned nightmares to her. After that he'd allowed Rex, Kix, and Fives to enter the small cell he was kept in, he recognized them as brothers again rather than traitors to the emperor. Shortly after General Skywalker had entered the room, Tup seemed almost normal but confused about what was happening, displaying no memory of what happened or what he'd done. Although his aggressive side had returned the moment another Jedi General had come into view. Shortly after he began to mutter the four words on repeat again. Good Soldiers Follow Orders.
Things had only taken a turn for the worst upon the decision being made to send Tup back to Kamino. The Seperatist suddenly seemed interested in getting their hands on Tup, they'd been successful at first, but so was the rescue mission Rex, Fives, and Anakin launched to retrieve the disorientated trooper. After which Fives had requested to escort Tup back to Kamino. If only Rex knew that was the last time he'd see Fives before everything went off the rails.
"We've just got Snap back to how she was. Throwing her into the middle of this will push her back to square one" voiced Rex with concern lacing through his voice. At the same time, the great captain understood why his general had suggested bringing Snap along. She had a connection with all clones few others had. Not to mention she was likely the only one who knew for sure where Fives was and could tell if he'd suffered a mental break as the Kaminoans were claiming.
"I understand that Rex. But we need (Y/N)'s help if this is going to be solved with the best outcome" simply responded Anakin, his own concern alight in his icy eyes. He was already unsure about everything, even more so with the Chancellor claiming Fives had attempted to assassinate him. There was no doubt there was a certain danger, but Snap was the only one all involved, including Fives, trusted to be neutral ground in the whole mess. The only one who could truly get to the bottom of everything with the needed swiftness and kindness.
"I'll find her, let her know everything on the way to the rendezvous point" solemnly commented Rex before turning on his heels and leaving. The feeling of dread, gripped him as he thought about all the hardships faced during the war, all the brothers lost. All the battles were put before them all as the odds built up against them. Public opinion had only gotten worse the longer the war had stretched on, even members of the Jedi turned on them, as fellow clones began to defect and question orders. Slowly it appeared things were falling apart, but what scared Rex most was the republic wasn't falling apart on the battlefield but in the very constitute meant to help the people. The Senate.
As to be expected, Rex had found (Y/N) catching up on forgotten paperwork, she'd been in her office ignoring Octavius's existence as was the norm.  She'd been so engrossed in her work and ignoring the cryptographer, she hadn't noticed Rex enter until he'd cleared his throat to gain her attention. Her friendly smile faded the moment her eyes landed on him, almost as if she knew something was out of place or something bad was about to happen.
"The general asks you to accompany us to find Fives. Your expertise will help with the current situation" sadly spoke Rex, not being able to push away the dread building up. All of this had happened so quickly. Tup had died, Fives had discovered something, Shaak Ti had requested for the council to see something, apparently, Fives had gone on the run after attempting to assassinate the Chancellor. Nothing seemed right, it was almost as if someone was hiding in the background, pulling the strings as if all of them were pieces on a chessboard.
(Y/N) didn't say a word, instead, she silently moved to log out of her computer before following Rex from the medbay, her heart in her stomach. Somehow she already knew something wasn't how it first appeared, something was wrong and out of place. Yet she struggled to figure out exactly what was making her think and feel like that. The moment the pair reached the landing bay, Anakin had greeted them both, his attention fleetingly turned to Octavius who had once again followed. This time he tried to cover the obvious with a simple offer of his services, even when it was clear his skill set would be useless in resolving the situation at hand.
No one spoke a word during the short journey to the coordinates Fives had given Kix. Snap couldn't bring herself to admit she recognized the seemingly abandoned warehouse, it had once belonged to her late uncle Seth. A warehouse for the business he'd successfully run way back when. Anakin and Rex had entered first, only when they were sure it was safe would either one could (Y/N) the all-clear the enter. The longer Snap had to wait, the stronger her fear of losing someone else love got. A fear that found its feet in reality when she heard voices from inside her uncle's warehouse, Rex trying to calm a situation, talking with sense. Anakin seemingly struggled to stay neutral when Fives made rambled accusations. And Fives, sounding lost and confused as if his compose has become scrabbled and he struggled to find his bearings again. His heart was in the right place but his mind struggled to make sense of it all.
Without a second thought or regret (Y/N) ran into the warehouse, she had no regard for her own safety, only the wellbeing of her friends. When she discovered where the three were, she found Rex and Anakin trapped in the middle of a ray-shielded circle, Fives just in front of them waving one of Rex's blasters around as if trying to locate an unseen force creeping upon him. The Arc Trooper seemed almost frightened to see her there, as if he was scared whatever he was running from, would capture and hurt her.
"Fives" called (Y/N) with calmness, her hands held up as if to surrender to her friend, thrust showing she was unarmed, weaponless. "I know you didn't have a mental break as the Kaminoans said. I know you didn't try and assassinate the Chancellor" softly spoke Snap, noticing he seemed to stop and listen, slowly lowering his weapon, as if relieved someone believed him. "Tell me what you discovered, and I will do everything in my power to make sure you're not ignored" voiced the civvi medic, ignoring Anakin calling her name with concern as if he was skeptical about her choice to give credit to Fives' brash accusations.
"There's a plot" started Fives, holding his head seconds later as if struggling to find the words to explain what he had discovered. "Inhibitor chips, clones, Kaminoans, destroy the Jedi. The chancellor, he's behind it all" muttered the Arc Trooper, suddenly raising his gun again, this time turning around and pointing it at the members of the Coruscant Guard. He stood in front of where Snap was as if protecting her from the Coruscant Guard, protecting her from the unseen force his mind was telling him was there. "Get away from me" yelled Fives, pointing his gun directly at the members of the Coruscant Guard, his mind becoming more hazed and scrambled by the second.
"Don't Shoot!" yelled Snap, not being clear about whom her words were directed toward. Before her words could defuse the situation, Fox fired a single bolt, shooting Fives in the chest. The warehouse had fallen deathly silent as if no one could comprehend what had happened. (Y/N) quickly rushed to Fives, ignoring all others there, as her instinct to save a life kicked in. Even when she knew the odds of survival, she couldn't stand by and do nothing when her friend needed her. Fox soon shot out the ray shield holding Anakin and Rex in place, allowing Rex to join Snap at Fives' side.
"This is the end" muttered Fives, as his fate began to dawn on him. He was going to see Droidbate, Cutup, and Hevy again. He would finally be reunited with Echo, his brother lost so long ago in the midst of the ongoing war. Finally, the Domino squad would be reunited, and peaceful. "Forget the mission, oh nightmare" whispered the Arc Trooper, as his attention briefly turned to (Y/N), knowing she would understand, Tup had told her. "I'm free" were his final words, before his body gave up on him. Before he left the living behind and broke the hearts of his brothers, friends, and Snap.
Snap didn't bother to hide her tears or her heartache. Instead, she simply grabbed hold of Fives' shoulders and shook him. Willing him to wake up. Her mind told her he was already gone, she'd failed to save another she loved and cared for, but her breaking heart refused to accept it. Rex held on to Fives' body, closing his eyes to it appeared he was sleeping, he struggled to come to terms with what happened, yet somehow he found some truth in something Fives had said.
Anakin had been the one to pull Snap away, as the Coruscant Guard circled around Rex and Fives, Fox dropping his blaster as if disgusted with himself. The Jedi Knight only held on tighter when (Y/N) tried to get away from him, holding her closer as she cried. Regret shone in his eyes, he should have listened to Rex, he shouldn't have involved the fragile medic.
"Let her go" called Rex, when Snap finally got free from Anakin's secure grip. He knew she wouldn't wander too far, she never did. The call of duty was always stronger with Snap, as was her loyalty to the troopers who needed her, and to her friends and family. He doubted whether she'd go anywhere outside her normal hiding places, if the captain had to guess he'd say she would go to the memorial to the fallen, if only so she could remember friends lost and speak to Echo. Either that or she'd hide away from the galaxy in her apartment until she was needed again. Rex knew others would keep tabs on her, especially Wolffe and Cody, both of which often acted protective older brothers.

Crosshair and Omega's dynamic
Spoilers for episode 4
Out of all of Omega's relationships with the Batch, I have to say my favorite is the one with Crosshair (and it's not because I'm biased towards him). Even though they only had like two full episodes to work off each other, they do it so well. It's peak sibling relationship. But why I think it works so well is because of how they work off each other. In my eyes, Omega and Cross see each other as equals or at least on similar levels. This is evident with how they guide each other when fleeing from the Empire. There's no clear leader between them, the pair listen to each other depending on the situation.
Crosshair's skills are basically fighting and playing lookout. Both are very handy to have. Whenever a fight breaks out, Omega lets Crosshair take the lead and he works to protect her and himself. That's not to say Omega can't hold her own, but when the going gets tough, the tough get going (credit Lion King 2 for that cheesy line). Cross also takes a natural protective stance around her. While she does the technical stuff, he keeps watch. He might say it isn't part of his skill set, but believe me, it is.
Then, we have Omega. She's much better at hustling and seeking alternative ways to get things done. It's true that blaster fire will draw more attention to one's self. Thus, Crosshair lets her guide him in situations where they need to be more low-profile. Omega is also better with social situations imo. She's a smart kid who learned a lot from her other brothers and Cid. I love that the show gives both characters to exercise their unique skill set while not undermining the other.
The other reason why I love their relationship so much is because of how it's changed Crosshair. In the months that he and Omega have been imprisoned, he's truly grown to care for and respect her. First off, he uses her name. The only other people he does that with is Hunter and Wrecker. Secondly, he follows her lead with almost no question. He does complain and make comments. BUT, he still follows her. Crosshair in season 1 mocked Hunter for listening to Omega. Little did he know that he would follow her over 6 months later (yes, I did the math).
And then there's the emotional piece of it. Crosshair is so open with Omega in his body language, facial expressions, and words. She brings out the best side of him and I am here for it. Compare that to when we first meet him in Clone Wars. He's quiet, hangs back, and usually wears a stern look on his face. Now look at him with Omega. He's much more talkative. His face emits so much emotion from being fed up to genuine concern. There is no doubt in my mind that he loves Omega. He encourages her and openly voices his concerns. I myself struggle with opening up to others about certain except for a few people. Seeing Crosshair opening to someone who he feels comfortable with is truly beautiful and heartwarming. Between Mayday and Omega, you can see just how much Crosshair has changed.
Finally, the imperial officer casually calling Crosshair Omega's dad and her not saying anything proves that Crossdad is real. It's so on the nose, but it's so obvious that Crosshair cares for her and is good at keeping her safe.

So, I’ve been texting my dad (mostly) spoiler free summaries of The Bad Batch all season, each with a different theme (bad batch episodes as Disney park rides, bad batch episodes so far as out of context Wrecker lines, etc), and the last one was just me trying to make the episodes as mundane as possible. Which basically went like:
1. The Spoils of War: A questionable middle-manager tempts her employees with the sizeable performance bonus.
2. The Ruins of War: Mom horrified to learn that their daughter took him literally while their brother refuses to acknowledge a medical emergency.
3. The Solitary Clone: Depressed man who hates his job and never gets a lunch break is forced to deal with the woman who keeps ignoring all the “under new management” signs.
4. Faster: Gifted pilot reveals that he is no more responsible than either the man child or the literal child he was left to supervise.
5. Entombed: Child convinces her aunt to take her to a high tech corn maze; exhausted dad reluctantly tags along.
6. Tribe: Dad Squad steps in to help with a carpool.
7. The Clone Conspiracy: Career soldiers contemplate retirement.
8. Truth and Consequences: Wanted criminals break in to the world’s most dangerous Blockbuster to find a rare video.
9. The Crossing: Family goes spelunking in Space Moab.
10. Retrieval: Demolitions expert is so hangry he accidentally stumbled into a Dickens novel.
11. Metamorphosis: Four idiots go out of their way to prove that they have never seen a horror movie.
12. The Outpost: New transfer goes birdwatching in the snow.
13. Pabu: Broke ne’erdowells eat sushi.
14. Tipping Point: Responsible big brother teaches little sister how to drive the family car while one brother grabs dinner and the other has a doctor’s appointment.

Bad Batch Clone X Theory
Me: Okay, maybe we could narrow down who CX is by checking the voice actor-
Tumblr media
Me: Well shit.
Props to Baker for his vocal skills, but DAMN IT!
Got a main person of interest for who CX is, so spoilers underneath the keep reading.
I suspect CX to be Tech. CX is shown to be quite skilled with weaponry, trajectory, and intelligence if the hacking into the vehicle was any indication.
Now, people forget that Tech is the weapon’s specialist on the team and that Crosshair isn’t the only one who knows how to work a gun, with Tech bearing two DD-17 hand blasters and a DD-15A blaster carbine. Tech was also the one who would place mirrors at specific angles for Crosshair to shoot more effectively, so it would make sense for Tech to be a great shooter.
Another major detail to consider is the fact that CX didn’t shoot Omega when its shown that CX seems to disobey orders when observing his interaction with Wollfe. Considering how Tech rebelled against the empire and his growing relationship in season 2, maybe Tech is able to recognize what he was going to do and the hostility towards Wollfe is him taking back his identity.
We also need to consider CX’s relationship with Crosshair, maintaining great hatred towards him and criticizing Crosshair for not conforming to the Empire. Tech seemed to hold little grudge against Crosshair, but he also seems to be willing to harm Crosshair if it comes to it. Going from the perspective of Tech being CX, he more than likely snapped when Crosshair, the guy who tried to kill him and his clone squad while claiming they betrayed the Empire, ended up killing Lt. Nolan and revealed the Empire was planning on replacing the Clones. No shit this major shift of perspective is going to confuse CX who’s been inducted by the Empire.
Also, not certain on how on the nose they’re trying to be, but CX falls QUITE A LOT in episode 7. Do I even need to bring up what happened to Tech in his supposed last moments?
“Tech died at the end of season 3,” I hear you say, and to that I say, did you forget how Echo’s “death” at the Citadel went? Echo was seen on screen seconds before the scene pans out to the impact of the explosion, with his helmet role towards the scene. This presentation of Tech’s death echoes, well, Echo’s “death,” with Tech looking up, we pan out to see how high he’s falling, and the proof of his death was shown through his cracked goggles. We also need to remember the fact that Star Wars was never afraid of showing dead bodies ON SCREEN, such as when we saw the aftermath of CX killing rebeling Clone Troopers in season 3, episodes 6 and 7, so why would Star Wars hide Tech’s body unless they had extra plans for the character? To be frank, I wouldn’t be surprised if Tech lived.

You know I wonder if anyone has done the math to see what the chances are of a named clone dying or not.
If you think about it let’s go down the list and I am going to do some quick math
TLDR with the bad batch included clones have a probability to survive at 68% without them included they have a probability of just 54%
This is done by using characters who appeared in multiple episodes or appeared once in TCW and then in ROTS Math below.
Warning this includes spoilers up to episode 7 of the bad batch season 3
If you can think of enough clones who appeared in multiple episodes or projects I will include them in another revised version.
Kix (alive)1
Jessie (dead)1
Hardcase (dead) 2
Rex (Alive) 2
Wolffe (alive) 3
Fives (dead) 3
Waxer (dead) 4
Boil (alive) 4
Fox (dead) 5
Nemec (dead) 6
Fireball (Dead) 7
Sinker (alive) 7
Boost (alive) 8
Ridge (dead) 8
Vaughn (dead) 9
Cut Lawquane (alive) 9
Hawk (alive) 10
Bly (alive) 11
Gree (Dead) 10
Cody (alive) 12
Howzer (alive) 13
Tech (Dead/alive he’s schrodinger’s clone)
Crosshair (alive) 14
Echo (alive) 15
Hunter (alive) 16
Wrecker (alive) 17
CX1 (dead) 11
Dogma (alive) 18
Tup (Dead) 12
Oddball (alive) 19
99 (Dead) 13
Havoc (dead) 14
Colt (dead) 15
Blitz (alive) 20
Hammer (alive) 21
Boba (alive) 22
Not counting CX 2 just in case it’s someone on this list
Not including the clone cadets or Omega as there is a 0% chance any of them die so they screw with results (children aren’t going to die in a Star Wars TV-PG show)
Okay I have gone through as many clones as I can think of that appeared in more than one episode of TCW and revenge of the Sith and the bad batch
A clone has a 68% chance of survival as of episode 7 of TBB
However if you remove the bad batch itself a clones survival chances drop to just 54%
Also I just realized I forgot to calculate Scorch being alive (weirdly enough now with the bad batch he has appeared more than almost any clone lol)

So how are we feeling right now? (TBB Spoilers)
Episodes 10 & 11 may be some of the darkest we've seen this season. We all knew the storm was coming but wow that was such a dramatic shift. I definitely had some thoughts and realizations after watching the latest release.
Okay first off lets talk about the elephant in the room: Tech. A lot of people thought that Identity Crisis would be about Tech and his struggle with having been made into the shadow clone CX-2, but it was actually about Emerie (I'll get back to her in a bit). Even though we don't know exactly who that shadow clone is yet, I do think it could still be Tech. In episode 11 (plus 6 and 7) we saw a lot of hints towards Tech as we knew him in seasons 1 and 2; things like the way he spoke, his leg getting crushed, his flying, and his use of Cid and Phee to get to the others on Pabu. One thing that really stood out to me when he was on Phee's ship is the way he put his hands on the flight controls while downloading her data, almost like it was second nature to him, something familiar he did without thinking (I know this is a stretch but it really jumped out at me as a parallel to the countless scenes of Tech flying the Marauder, it just felt like him again). However there is a dark side to all of this. If CX-2 is Tech that means that:
Tech destroyed the Marauder; the ship that was a home and refuge for CF 99, both during the war and after the Empire took over. It was the one real constant they had in their lives and he would be the reason it's gone.
Tech destroyed peace on Pabu; a place where he and the others felt safe and grounded for the first time since Kamino. It also means he would be at least partly responsible for destroying the lives of everyone who helped and supported them in season 2 (CX-2 was ruthless in ep 11, they made that very clear).
Tech used Phee to accomplish all of this; a friend who trusted and cared about him and rest of the batch.
Tech would be the one who hunted down and eventually captured Omega, whatever that may mean in the future.
There are a lot of people who think that bringing Tech back would make his death meaningless, which I completely understand. Some characters should die and stay dead as a way of furthering the story and development of other characters. However, in this case I do think that revealing CX-2 to be a brainwashed Tech would have huge implications for the narrative. It would mean that one of their own was responsible for so much of the destruction we have seen this season, and that just because Crosshair resisted imperial experiments, does not mean that the others have similar abilities/plot protection. It would also bring immense emotional conflict into the rest of the season (however they might do it) and could be a deciding factor in the rest of the batch's fate; would they realize what he's done and treat him as the enemy, or would they see him and hesitate, possibly losing even more than they already have. Revealing Tech as the shadow clone would be incredibly dark, especially after all of the cruel and deliberate things he has done this season that contrast to the mild tempered and caring persona we previously knew (even if he didn't always show his feelings outright). While I do think there is a possibility that he is dead and not coming back, I definitely would not put it past the writers to do something so drastic as a way of adding to the season's narrative value with a conflicting and completely jarring revelation that would have so many significant implications for so many main characters. I did not mean for this post to be so long but let's keep going anyway.
Some other more general realizations I had:
As of right now, Hunter and Wrecker don't know that Omega was taken again. That said, we might not see them finding out and the next episode could definitely jump ahead like they have done with other significant moments like Crosshair's return.
Crosshair could be blamed for letting Omega give herself up and missing the shot to put a tracker on the ship, especially if they never see her again (but I'm choosing to believe that won't happen). There is no way Hunter wouldn't have something to say about that, even after they have mostly patched things up over the last few episodes. This also contributed to the tone of the episode 11 ending; he missed the shot, meaning they have no way of tracking her and are no closer to finding Tantiss. It was a very bleak note to end on in general, not at all like some hopeful purpose driven endings we have seen previously.
Just because Omega gave herself up does not mean that the Empire is going to leave Pabu intact. She distracted CX-2 by letting him take her back to Tantiss but the other troopers were still there, and I doubt they will just pack up and leave without a fight now that Omega is back in their control.
There are only 4 episodes left; what if they don't reveal CX-2's identity at all, and just leave us guessing (I still think there could be merit to the possibility of it being Cody or a Crosshair clone but that gets less likely every time we see him). Or worse, what if they keep hinting at it to make sure we know who he is, but never give us proof; instead just leaving us with the knowledge of what happened to Tech, and what he has done, without any other closure.
Ok let's talk about Emerie. I was definitely not expecting her to be the focus of Identity Crisis, but I thought that was a really interesting twist. We haven't seen her in a while so it was nice to get her perspective, and to get a better idea of what project Necromancer is all about (though I am still not totally sure where they are going with that so I'm reserving my judgments until later). As the title implies, she is definitely starting to question her place with Hemlock and the Empire, and I am also wondering how she is going to react to Omega being captured again, especially knowing what she knows now. I definitely think Emerie will be more sympathetic towards Omega's independence and desire to help the other clones. We might even see the two of them working together on a future escape attempt? Overall I enjoyed episode 10 and I am glad Emerie is finally getting her moment to contribute to the plot, especially after her importance was so obiously revealed in Crosshair's escape attempt during season 2.
I'm sorry this got so depressing but unfortunately I think that is what we can expect for the rest of the season unless something really unexpected happens. Also if you read that entire novel then thank you I swear I didn't think this post would be so long when I was writing down my thoughts earlier but here we are.

hii there i dont rly know how this works so i hope im doing it right >-<
can i perhaps req little!crosshair hcs and how the batch would accommodate him and help him? they would be the best big brothers to him ik!!! ^^ if also omega could be included too not as a cg but i think she'd be so sweet about it n the best sister :o
GET OUT OF HERE!! Don’t actually because this is such a cute idea!!! Before I read this I always saw Crosshair as more of a CG but THEN this request had my brain short circuit with ideas!! I absolutely love a Little who doesn’t want to regress but is loved and accepted by those around them that they start to regress without realizing it! And that’s definitely Crosshair! I decided not just to write a general Headcannons for him but him as a Little throughout the first seasons to the current season. So we see Little Crosshair before the empire, during and after. This is LONG, I think I got a little carried away!😅😅
(I will keep updating this every Wednesday so that it’s up to date with the show. If you’re reading this right now it is updated to Season 3 ep 11 - Point of No Return)
Without further ado, please enjoy Little! Crosshair Headcannons with the Bad Batch as Caregivers & Omega as a Little sibling! Thank you for the request and feel free to leave another if anything from this inspires you! 😄
Little! Crosshair🎯Headcannons / Storyline 🤍 (SFW)

Tags/ TW - BAD BATCH SPOILERS, mentions of clone wars & bad batch typical violence (shooting/death), classification au, accidents, cuddles, self doubt/hatred
Background on the Republic and on Regressors in the Clone Wars era:
Just like every citizen, every clone of the republic must be tested for their Classification and have it on their file. They get it right after they’ve finished all their training and their ready to be shipped out into battle. As much as the Kaminoans would like for all of the clone to be Neutrals, they have no control over it. They just hide all notes about it and tell the republic all their clones are neutrals. But the clones know otherwise. Though most of the clones are Neutrals, there are the few exceptions. It’s rare to get a Caregiver Clone, but even rarer to find a Little Clone.
The Bad Batch have been and continue to be anything but normal. So when it comes for them to get classified, the results don’t come to much of a shock. Each one test right after the other, then waits in their shared room for everyone to come back and say their results.
Hunter is the first to test and his comes back as a Caregiver. Then Tech is up and is tested as a Caregiver as well. The two are shocked at first, never expecting their classification to come to any use. Then Wrecker test and his comes back as a Little with the age of a big kid (7-9). That…wasn’t much of a shock to the team. What is a bit shock to the team is Crosshair’s classification.
Little Crosshair before the Empire & Omega :
Crosshair is the last one to test mostly because he’s the youngest. He expects, no, he knows he’s a neutral. So when he’s told otherwise he loses it. He demands the droid test him again, then again, then again. But it’s the same result every time. He’s a Little with the age of a little kid (4-6).
He starts to panic. Before he sees his brother he takes time for himself to try and calm down but he can’t. He has this stern tough guy persona to himself. What if his brothers see him differently? What if they think he’s not as capable? What will happen when he regresses? No! No, he’s never going to regress. That is not happening.
After a moment of pulling himself together and cooling his emotions, he leaves and head back to his room with the rest of the squad. Wreck is eager to hear his classification but Crosshair just shrugs him off saying he’s a neutral. Tech and Hunter share a look but don’t say anything.
Crosshair can feel it bubbling inside, almost scratching at the back of his brain to regress but he fights it. Wrecker always regresses after a long mission. Something inside of Crosshair always yearns for him to do the same with him.
Crosshair keeps his classification well hidden. No one questions Crosshair on his Neutral classification and he doesn’t regress…that is before their latest mission goes south.
Crosshair gets hurt, badly hurts. A broken leg and possibly a concussion. He hits the ground HARD. His leg hurts and his head is pounding. Wrecker picks him up and carries him back to the ship with the others. Once they’re all safe in the Marauder, Hunter and Tech realize Crosshair regressed.
Wrecker doesn’t understand what’s happening and questions it. “Why’s he acting like that?” “Because he’s regressed” Tech explains plainly. “But he’s a neutral.” Wrecker adds, but Hunter shakes his head, “He never has been. Isn’t that right Crosshair?” Crosshair just looks away as tears start to fall from his eyes.
They start to take care of him while he’s injured and regressed. The more they do, the more Crosshair realizes his regression isn’t such a bad thing after all, So the crew of the Marauder start to learn a few new things about their newly regressed squad member.
For one, Hunter is Crosshair’s favorite person. When he isn’t around Crosshair he begins to panic and look for him. It’s an unspoken truth with the Batch that when Crosshair regresses he’s always hanging around Hunter. “Hunter?” “Over here little sniper.”
Hates cutsie nicknames. Really only accepts Little sniper, Cross, and very rarely little one.
He’s a very quiet Little as opposed to Wrecker who is a very loud energetic Little.
Though he is very quiet, he does have a voice when it comes to something he doesn’t like. He is extremely stubborn. (More below on this)
Wrecker loves to take the lead and guide Crosshair to play along with their crazy games. He’s an older headspace than him so he loves to be big brother.
Whenever Crosshair is upset, Wrecker will bring him Lula to make him. As much as he doesn’t want to admit it, it does make him better.
Crosshair is super cuddly when he’s regressed. But you can’t force him, he just walks over to either Hunter or Tech while they’re relaxing in their bunk, doesn’t say a word, and just snuggled up beside them.
Tech loves to read to him, it always seems to relax him and sometimes it makes him fall asleep with all the knowledge.
Crosshair throws tantrums often. He is a fussy Little. When something doesn’t go his way, he doesn’t want to do something, or something wasn’t what he wanted he will throw a huge tantrum.
He also fights most if not all of Hunter & Tech’s rules. They’re getting a bit tired of his constant rebellion to their rules but nonetheless their as patient as they can be with him, knowing he’s probably lashing out because he needs some attention and is too shy to ask for it.
In and out of his regression his brothers love and respect him. They don’t look down at him for being a Regressor and they certainly don’t underestimate him.
No toothpicks when Crosshair is regressed, as it’s too dangerous. Instead the Batch find him an alternative in the way of chewable necklaces and teethers. Pacifiers are labeled too babyish by Crosshair so the alternatives make him feel a lot better.
When Echo joins the team, Crosshair doesn’t regress for a while around him. Nervous of the new Caregiver on the ship, though he’d never admit it.
When he does eventually regress, Echo is extremely kind to Crosshair. Whenever he get fussy or is on the verge of a tantrum, Echo seems to have the magic touch or the magic saying that starts to settle him down. “Why don’t we go look at the stars outside?” “I don’t want to!” “Oh, well I guess I’ll just go out by myself and look at the starts. *sigh* I’ll just be so lonely.” He leaves the ship to look at the stars and find Crosshair beside him a minute later.
After their mission with the Jedi during order 66, they meet Omega. And at the same time as meeting Omega, Crosshair begins to have terrible headaches. Usually when he has a headache it turns into him regressing but this one is doing the opposite. Plus now with Omega, he can’t help but feel a slight twinge of jealousy for her.
They learn that Omega is a part of their squad. But not only that, she’s also a Little same headspace as Wrecker.
Crosshair fights with the team against being on the opposite side of the Empire. Deep down he just wants things to be the same as they were before.
When they are captured again, Crosshair hold his head in pain. Whatever was going on, Omega seemed to sense it. She takes a seat by him and takes his hand in his. “I know this isn’t your fault.” Maybe this isn’t his fault. Before he’s decided whether he was going to ask her about it or just roll his eyes, the Empire goes to take him away.
“Ct-9904 you’re coming with us.” Hunter is the first to stand up and block them from taking Crosshair but he is punched in the stomach. Crosshair is dragged out of his cell, casting one last worrying look to his squad.
Little Crosshair during the Empire (Season 1)
The Empire begins experimenting on him to keep him as their “good soldier.” In doing so his regression starts to fade away for him for the time being. He doesn’t feel the usual pull to regress like he did before.
His brothers leaving him behind doesn’t hit him at first. But when the realization and loneliness hit him, it’s like a train. Late at night in their old barracks, Crosshair lays awake in his bed. He longs for Hunter, Tech or even Echo to come and comfort him. But now as the Empire’s perfect soldier, he forced himself to push it down.
(The Reunion s1 ep 8) When he gets injured by the cruiser engine and is medically evaluated off the planet he involuntarily regresses for the first time since joining the empire. Something happens with him getting burns to the side of his head. It makes his chip or his motives to stay with the Empire wavier.
His injuries brings him back to when he first regressed with his squad. Except now he was surrounded by medical droids. He freaks out but is only restrained more by the droids until they finish the proper treatment to the burns on the side of his head. He has an accident while they treat him, something that has only happen on extremely few occasions. The embarrassment eats away at him.
Once treated he is sent to his barracks to heal. This time everything feels different. He cries as he sit in his bed all alone. He longs for Hunter, or Tech, or Echo, or even Wrecker to make him feel better.
(War-Mantle s1 ep14 & Return to Kamino s1 ep15) When Hunter is captured by the empire, Crosshair makes it a point to be in charge of his arrest. While he acts sassy on the outside, Hunter sees right through it all. When Crosshair confronts Hunter in his cell Hunter asks him about it, “Crosshair…when was the last time you-.” “I DON’T! Not anymore.”
(Kamino Lost s1 ep16) Capturing Hunter was the biggest part of his plan. Why? So the rest of the squad could come and get him. With everyone back together he offers them to join the empire once more. But again, they refuse. Crosshair lashes out. Hunter and Crosshair fight which results in Hunter taking down Crosshair.
During their escape out of Kamino, Omega and Crosshair have a chance to chat. She really just wants to connect and be an older sister to him, being a Little herself. But he scoffs her off, choosing to self isolate himself rather than make friends with Omega. There’s also something inside of him that feels a bit of jealousy when he sees Omega around the others, especially Hunter.
Crosshair save Omega from drowning. He looks around at the guns surrounding him. He wasn’t going to shoot Omega, he was saving her life! But he’s done too much damage and that shows in the way Wrecker, Tech and Echo look at him.
They offer him a choice to join them again, no questions asked. There’s something deep down inside of Crosshair that’s screaming at him to join his squad again. But his stubborn need to be a good solider wins over and once again his squad leaves him. As they fly away he can’t help but let a few tears fall.
Little Crosshair during the Empire (Season 2)
The Empire left him on that platform in the ruins of Kamino for thirty two rotations, left to starve.
By this time back with Empire he is starting to notice more and more clone question the Empire’s intentions. The first of whom that really gets Crosshairs attention is Commander Cody.
It’s like a breath of fresh air to work with Cody. But even he could see that a good soldier like Cody is even questioning the Empire’s intentions. This starts to have Crosshair thinking about the Empire’s intentions for him.
After Cody disappears, Crosshair continues to work for the Empire but his treatment gets worse and worse. The stormtroopers disrespect his abilities, he eats alone and is isolated from everything expect work.
At night Crosshair stays awake, curled in a ball crying. His regression is becoming a big issue for him. He can’t stop feeling the pull to fully regress but with how the Empire is treating clones he scared he’ll be disregarded if he did.
(The Outpost s2 ep 12) Everything changes when he’s assigned to the Outpost. There he meet another clone named Mayday who reminds him so much of Hunter. It brings that Little feeling deep down inside. It doesn’t help that Mayday is also a Caregiver and can sense that Crosshair isn’t the neutral he says he is.
When they go out to retrieve the items stolen by raiders they come to find that all their hard work has led them to just retrieve new armor for the stormtroopers that plan on replacing them.
During the battle to get the supplies back, Mayday pushes Crosshair out of the way, saving his life but injuring himself. Though he insists on Crosshair leaving him, Crosshair doesn’t abandon him there. Instead he helps him go back to the Outpost.
There were moments spent huddled next to one another as the snow blew back and forth. As injured as Mayday was, he always tried to comfort Crosshair who regressed on and off because of his worrying about Mayday. “It’s okay Crosshair, we’ll make it. Just stay close to me. I’ve got you.”
Crosshair takes his arm and wrap his around his shoulders for support. Both to support Mayday as he walks and for the comfort of keeping him close.
Eventually they do make it back to the base. Crosshair lays Mayday down for a minute as the Lieutenant comes over to the two. He begs him to get a medic for Mayday, tears falling down his face. But the Lieutenant mocks Crosshair, saying how weak and expendable the clones are and how angry he is that they came back empty handed. When Crosshair looks to Mayday, he’s passed away.
Crosshair losses it. Everything he felt about the Empire fades away. He realizes the mistake his made and more than anything wants to be back with his squad. But he’s stuck here, with the Empire. He begin to cry, holding onto Mayday hand as the Lieutenant turns away.
There’s only one way out and that’s the option he goes for. He takes his gun and shoot the man. There’s a sense of relief that washes over him. But that relief immediately turns to exhaustion. He crumbles to the ground as storm troopers run over and passes out.
When Crosshair awakes he’s taken prisoner by Hemlock and Emerie. They inform him that they’re going to use him to capture Omega. It’s with this knowledge Crosshair sets out to do one last good deed to redeem a bit of his old self.
He breaks out and goes to the communications board where he sends out an encrypted message to the Bad Batch, “Plan 88. You have to hide. They’re after…..”
The last part of the message doesn’t go through. Gas fills the room and Crosshair collapses. Hemlock walks through the gas as it doesn’t affect him. He tells Crosshair of the mistake he’s made and how he’ll pay for it. A single tear falls from Crosshair’s eye before he passes out.
His punishment is being thrown into a cell, forced to be subject to different test both of his defective qualities and his Little classification.
When Omega is captured, she find Crosshair strapped to a table unconscious. At least the two Littles of the Batch are reunited.
Little Crosshair is back with the Batch (Season 3)
Crosshair has lost hope of ever escaping Tantiss. He has his usual schedule of trying to train him to be some brain washed assassin (doesn’t work on him), then he’s experimented on and then thrown into his cell. Most nights he’s alone, left to cry. But soon, Omega starts to visit him.
At first he tries to steer her away from him. Saying mean things so she’ll leave him alone and escape herself. He feels in some twisted way he deserve this punishment. But unlike everyone who he’s felt abandoned him, Omega never gives up on him. She visits him every night.
Some nights he’s regressed, others he’s not. Omega stays with him through and throughout. She loves his little side, though it’s mostly just him crying and holding her hand through the cell door. The small comfort is needed.
They break out! Omega takes the lead getting them out of the prison while Crosshair mans the guns. He feels comfortable not making the decisions and instead letting his sister do it for them. Though nowadays his shooting isn’t as good as it used to be thanks to all the experiments to him.
Once free they crash land, steal a ship and travel to meet Hunter and Wrecker. The whole adventure brings Crosshair very close to Omega who looks after him like Wrecker used to. He now protects her at all cost.
When they land, Omega is first to run and hug Hunter and Wrecker. The happy reunion is ruined by Crosshair as he also steps down off the ship. Too much betrayal has caused their relationship to splinter. It makes his heart sink
(The Return Season 3 ep 5) Back with the Batch and back to somewhat safe place. Crosshair tries to find his place back in the group again. But he knows Wrecker and Hunter don’t trust him at all. So he isolated himself from the group, looking to instead fix his shaking hand. The only one who’s close to him is still Omega. She urges him to talk to Hunter who has given him the cold shoulder.
When Echo arrives they realize they need to go to an imperial base to help unlock a datapad from Tantiss and free the clones. The only issue, this isn’t just any imperial base, this is The Outpost.
Wrecker is kind enough to give him his old armor back. He steps inside the Marauder and changes. Looking in the mirror he sees a hint of his old self again. The hope makes his heart stop for a second.
Walking outside brings back all the memories of Mayday, something that wrenches his heart.
He lashes out at Hunter throughout their entire time at the Outpost. It brings back old memories of when Crosshair would deny regressing, throw a tantrum, eventually break down and regress with Hunter.
The only thing is, Hunter is not being as kind as he used to be. Crosshair hasn’t exactly been kind to him and the rest of the Batch. So it’s all expected.
There’s small insults thrown here and there between Hunter and Crosshair. All with Omega and Echo trying to get the two to talk to one another, knowing that’s how it would fix everything between them.
When they enter the Outpost, the team works on the datapad while Crosshair slips away, looking through the outpost, remembering the last time he was there.
Out of the corner of his eye he spot a group of clone helmets and in the middle sits Mayday’s helmet. He immediately goes over and fixes the helmets, putting Maydays in the middle to honor him. A stray tear falls from his eye as he stares at the helmet. He quickly wipes it away, unaware Hunter had been watching him.
But slowly but surely Crosshair and Hunter get on each other nerves to the point of having an all out argument with one another. Hunter questions Crosshair’s loyalty to the squad and Crosshair just lashes out, saying things only to hurt Hunter.
Their argument is interrupted by a giant monster! (Of course) During the mission to get rid of this giant monster, Crosshair and Hunter work together for the first time in forever. Crosshair saves Hunter’s life by merely getting eaten himself.
After that they just sit in the snow, breathing heavy next to one another. They look over and silently there’s a difference in the air. All the anger all the heartache is gone. What’s left is what they were before, brothers, Caregiver and Little.
They walk back to the squad. Wrecker runs over and hugs the two together in a group hug like he used to do. Echo smiles at Omega saying “See? They always work it out. And this time Hunter’s not bleeding from one of Crosshair’s tantrums. I’d say it’s a win win.”
Once they start packing up to leave, Hunter and Crosshair get a moment to talk to one another. “Hunter, I…I thought I knew what I was getting into with the Empire. I thought I was being a good soldier.” Tears threaten to spill from his eyes. It’s all too much. Now that he’s in Hunter and the squad’s good side. He feels the need to regress once more.
Hunter steps up, walking over to Crosshair, “Nobody really understood what was happening back then.”
“I’ve done thing, I’ve made mistakes.” The tears that threatened to spill start falling as soon as he turns and looks at Hunter.
Hunter decides to clear the space between them. He brings Crosshair close and wrap him in a hug, something he hasn’t had in forever, “I have regrets too, Crosshair. All we can do is keep trying to be better. And who knows? There just might be hope for us yet. It’s okay my little sniper. You’re home now.”
Crosshair just cries and cries into Hunter’s shoulder. So much being built up over time that just finally being let out. After a moment Crosshair lifts his head and Hunter wipes the remaining tears away. “I already told the squad, tonight you and I are going to spend some quality time together. Sound good?” Crosshair nods, taking his hand and being led onto the ship.
The night feels like a dream to Crosshair. He’s finally able to fully regress and feel safe doing so. He cuddles close to Hunter and never leaves his side. With him, his old chewable necklace that getting pretty worn out.
(Infiltration s3 ep 6) Things remain pretty peaceful until a call from Rex comes through. The Batch are brought to give anymore information about Tantiss to Rex.
Crosshair meets Howzer again, who rightly so, doesn’t like him. Hunter sticking up for him brings a sense of warmth and happiness to him. His brothers truly accept him again.
But seeing the Assassin clone has Crosshair’s heart stop all together. This is bad, really bad. He fears not only for his own safety but mostly for his sister safety who the Empire desperately wants. After everything the two have been through together Crosshair couldn’t be without his big sister.
(Extraction s3 ep7) Running away from the assassin is a daunting task. This clone is good and Crosshair’s shaking hand isn’t helping. He still is useful but not as good as he hoped to be.
Once outside Crosshair check up on Omega, “you good?” “Un-huh.” “Got your crossbow?” “Yup.” “Sure you can carry those supplies?” “Yes.” “Stay close. It’s easy to get lost in this terrain.” Omega smiles but rolls her eyes, “You’re as bad as Hunter.” “Oh, I’m much worse.”
As they journey through the forest to get to the pick up location with Echo, Crosshair can sense the clone assassin is close. He turns to go alone, hoping to draw the assassin away from Omega.
The assassin seems almost mad at Crosshair for not being one of the assassins like himself. As the fight goes on, Crosshair is starting to slip up. The assassin hold his underwater and he struggles to breathe. But thankfully the rest of the team gets there to save Crosshair before he drowns or worse, falls down the giant water fall like the assassin did.
Hunter and Omega rush over as Crosshair coughs up water. Both the Caregiver and the Little are worried about him.
Finally they are about to be picked up when an old clone commander Wolffe tries to stop them. But after Rex’s speech, he has a change of heart. Crosshair notices how more clones, like Cody are beginning to question the order like all of them.
Once saved by Echo and heading to Padu, Wrecker and Omega begin to regress and play around the ship. And despite it all, Crosshair joins them, letting the worries of the missions and what happen tonight.
(Bad Territory s3 ep8) Hunter and Omega worry about Crosshair’s shaking hand. He tried to hide it from all the Caregivers and even Omega but everyone begins to notice it.
So while away on a mission Hunter instruct Omega to have Crosshair check it out. Sadly though it isn’t a medical issue. It’s because of the severe anxiety and PTSD he has since Tantiss.
Despite being against it at first, Crosshair follows Omega along and listens to his older sister as she teaches him how to meditate. At first he thinks it stupid and is about to walk away but she takes his hand in his.
With a deep breath he closes his eyes and focuses. And without him noticing, his hand stops shaking.
(The Harbinger s3 ep 9) Crosshair and Hunter work as the ultimate Dad team duo against Ventress who the don’t trust or want Omega to be around.
They work extremely well together. Despite getting their butts handed to them by Ventress they both see that their main priority is to keep Omega safe. That to them is what matters most.
In the end, Ventress warns them about Padu, saying it’s not safe. While it shouldn’t bother Crosshair, it eats away at him all night. Maybe they should leave? Maybe they should hide? He wakes Hunter up and explains his worries. “No use in staying up all night worry Cross, here. I’ll protect you and Omega tonight.”
It seems Crosshair was beat to Hunter’s bed by Omega who’s cuddle against his side. Old Crosshair would’ve been jealous. But now? Now he feels happy to have both of them around. He snuggles with the two. Happy to be protected by Hunter and happy to protect Omega.
(Point of No Return, s3 ep11) While Crosshair hasn’t been on Padu for as long as the others, he feels a bit sad to see it go. He sticks with Hunter, helping to load supplies onto the ship before the take off.
Just as they’re making their last trip BOOM! The Marauder, their home, explodes. Hunter, Omega and Crosshair run to the docks to find an unconscious and injured Wrecker. Crosshairs heart stops seeing his brother so injured.
But they’ve got bigger issues. They look to the skies and see an Imperial cruiser entering the airspace. He subconsciously goes closer to Omega, knowing that they’re here for her.
The three take off, trying to figure out a plan. Hunter suggests Crosshair stay with Omega while he finds a ship for them. Crosshair happily agrees, afraid of being away from Omega. The two run away, hiding with Wrecker’s unconscious body as AZ works on him.
Crosshair can see it in Omega’s eyes and on her face. She’s guilty. The people of the planet are being hurt and she feels as though she is to blame for it all. Crosshair wishes he could say something to reassure her it’s not her fault but he doesn’t say anything.
They watch as Hunter’s plan fails. He falls into the ocean. Crosshair grabs a view finder frantically and searches the ocean. His heart doesn’t start pumping again until he sees Hunter’s head pop up from the water. “He’s okay.” He says both to Omega and to himself.
Back inside Omega stops Crosshair and tells him she’s going to surrender herself. Crosshair is immediately against it, insisting they stick to Hunter’s plan. But Omega has made up her mind. She doesn’t want to see another suffer because of her.
Her plan is simple, hide a tracker on her and have Crosshair shoot a tracker on the ship. That way they can track her to Tantiss and they’ll be able to save the other clones, Crosshair is not confident on the mission. He doesn’t agree with it but Omega made her mind up. She’s doing it.
So when Omega surrenders herself they find her tracker, leaving it up to Crosshair to be the one to put the tracker on the ship.
Storm troopers are everywhere. With only seconds to shoot the tracker he’s attacked by troopers. He stops them and then takes his position again, but this time the ship is taking off.
He shoots and…he misses. The tracker lands in the ocean and the ship takes off with Omega with no way of tracking her at all.
Crosshair just watches the ship leave, in shock and in anguish. Tears fall from his face under his helmet as the ship gets small and small before disappearing from view. He failed them, he failed her.
How will be ever face Hunter and Wrecker who don’t know? How will be able to live with himself?

Thoughts on The Bad Batch Episode 6 - Infiltration - A Discussion Post
This week's two episodes really took us through another rollercoaster. Let's look back on all the details that got us excited!
(SPOILERS IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE EPISODES YET! all screencaps from cap-that.com! https://www.cap-that.com/starwars/the-bad-batch/306/)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rex makes his return by delivering Senator Avi Singh and his droid GS-8 to Senator Riyo Chuchi on Pantora, who continues to recruit people for fighting against the Empire. I was surprised to see Senator Singh again; every episode that's happened in the series really had a good purpose for the story.
Howzer also appeared, and I'm so happy he's back!
Tumblr media
One of the Clone X troopers had appeared, sneaking around and attempting to attack the senators. Rex and the others try to attack the trooper, and Howzer manages to stun him. The trooper ends up being another unidentified clone, and the boys take him into custody.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We arrive at the monastery on Teth, which had first appeared in the Clone Wars movie. Rex and the other clones have built themselves a base here, where they are safe and far away from the Empire.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rex and Howzer go to see the CX trooper they took into custody, as they had the shocker removed from their teeth, learning from the scenario that happened last season. Rex tries to reason with the trooper, who refuses to talk.
Fireball had looked through the device that they found with the CX trooper, and Omega was shown on that device. Rex decides to contact Echo and Hunter, calling them here to talk to them about the situation. Everyone's after the poor girl, and none of the clones are able to catch a break.
Tumblr media
The CX trooper that we've all got our eyes glued to appears once again on-screen, asking "Why have I been activated?" We finally get to hear this trooper talk, and his voice is very hidden by the helmet. He is given a mission to track down the CX trooper that went missing, and we go on to pay close attention to him throughout the episodes. When I tell you my heart was racing every time he appeared on screen, I was really trying to think hard and connect the dots. I'm a Tech believer, but with the new theories emerging on this trooper potentially being other clones as well, every theory is so intriguing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
While on the way to Rex's base, Omega copying Crosshair was the cutest thing ever. She went from copying Hunter in Season 1, copying Phee in Season 2, and now this in Season 3. (Hunter's definitely having flashbacks.) Girl's growing up too fast for me 😭
Tumblr media
Can we just take a second and look at Wrecker's smile here? It was so heartwarming to see him smile like this while he was petting Batcher. He's so cute.
Tumblr media
The crew arrives, and Howzer keeps his eyes locked on Crosshair. The little nod Rex and Omega shared was so adorable. Howzer speaks up to talk to Crosshair, who stays silent. He reminds him of Ryloth and what happened, and he has good reason to be upset.
Not gonna lie, I was expecting Rex to look at Batcher and be like when did y'all get a dog 🤨
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Before leaving to go pick up Gregor (wherever he is), Echo gives Omega a new crossbow, replacing the Zygerrian crossbow she used to have before being taken to Tantiss. I still wonder what happened to that weapon, it was just completely lost. Omega loves her new gift and thanks Echo, and I can't wait to see her use it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rex and Howzer show Hunter and Crosshair the information they got so far from the device they obtained from the CX trooper they have, and Crosshair starts to open up about what he went through on Tantiss, talking about Hemlock's conditioning. Howzer continues to suspect anything Crosshair says, and Hunter gets protective for his brother. The boys decide to ask Omega about why they wanted her on Tantiss, and she says that it was so Nala Se could work for them.
I feel like I could tell that Omega does not want to talk about anything she went through on Tantiss and whatever she experienced. She looks so hurt at times ever since she became reunited with her family, and she wasn't even eating in this episode. She always keeps giving Batcher her food. Omega mentions "M-count", which Rex has heard of before, but doesn't know what it means. I wonder when they'll learn what it means and how they'll try to figure out why Omega is needed for this.
Tumblr media
Meanwhile, the CX trooper sent from Tantiss had arrived on Teth and located the clones' base, and had snuck in without ANYONE noticing. Batcher's senses felt something was around, but she shrugged it off and continued eating. Not even Hunter's enhanced senses had felt something was around. I felt like maybe these troopers were designed to avoid those kinds of things, and maybe Hemlock learned about Hunter's abilities and attempted to avoid them.
Anyway, he looks around and spots Omega, immediately running out and contacting someone.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When Crosshair found out they have one of the CX troopers in custody, he goes with Rex, Howzer, and Hunter to see him. The second he lays eyes on the trooper, there is genuine fear in his eyes. What did he go through on Tantiss?
The CX trooper recognizes Crosshair and begins to talk, and knows the Empire is coming for them. Crosshair insists they leave, while the others keep wanting information, and Howzer gets more suspicious.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Right outside, the bombs CX-2 planted around the base are set off, triggering multiple explosions. He re-enters the base, firing shots, as everyone hurries to protect the base. The trooper manages to shoot the CX trooper they have in custody, making them unable to get further information. The fight continues until the base is wrecked, causing the CX trooper to be crushed under rubble, and the others get locked in the place they kept the trooper in custody after the rubble blocks their way out.
RIP to Fireball 😭
Tumblr media
Wolffe finally makes his appearance! He continues to be a soldier of the Empire, but he definitely is no longer under the influence of the chip. The episode ends here, and I was screaming the entire time Wolffe appeared. Someone go summon the force ghost of Plo Koon so he can knock some sense into his son.
This episode was full of context, but there's still so much mystery behind everything. The next episode was full of even more action, and I had my eyes glued to the screen.

Writers be like: okay let me see how many MORE times I can yeet this particular clone off a high place to his presumed death in one episode P.P.S. Rex: "It doesn't matter what you've done. At the end of the day, you're still a clone." Way Less Competent Clone Assassin: *stares* Way Less Competent Clone Assassin, mentally: ....yeaaaaahhhh, that's....how genetics work

Ahsoka Ep. 6 spoilers with NO context 😂😂
Tumblr media
Episode 5 was AMAZING and brought me right back to all those nostalgic Star Wars moments!
THIS episode though! 👏👏
Tumblr media
THE. WAY. I. SQUEALED!!! It was very undignified 😂😂 If you're a Star Wars fan and haven't watched watched Ahsoka yet, PLEASE watch it!! (If you're waiting for the entire season to be out.. well I respect that too, I just have no patience 😅)
ALL the easter eggs we're getting from The Clone Wars and Rebels is truly amazing and fans everyone are LIVING!! Which.. if you haven't watched The Clone Wars OR Star Wars Rebels yet... I HIGHLY suggest that before this show! You can still watch Ahsoka without seeing the other two shows, BUT I think you'd appreciate Ahsoka more if you did!!
THANK YOU DAVE FILONI FOR BRINGING US ALL THESE AMAZING ADDITIONS TO THE STAR WARS UNIVERSE!! 👏👏👏👏

Send an ask to this blog or DM one of the mods to request an invite. We talk all things Rexsoka and Star Wars. And you don’t have to be a writer or artist to join in on the fun! If you love Rexsoka, we want you here! 🧡💙
Mods: @whamgram / @ahsokathegray / @darthgoosegoose
Why join the server? You can:
Vote on and suggest monthly prompts
Have a safe space to gush about Rexsoka with other shippers
Take part in special events
Participate in discussion about Star Wars shows, movies, and future projects
Workshop fanfic/fanart ideas with other creators
If that sounds like something you’d want to take part in, then please see our full list of rules for the Rexsoka Monthly Discord server below!
Tumblr media
RULES
1) Must be 18+. This server is for adults only. Any member who is discovered to be underage will be removed and referred to other spaces that support Rexsoka and allow minors.
2) Be respectful towards others. It’s okay to disagree and debate on topics, but keep conversations friendly and civil. Please refrain from bashing or doxxing specific people who are not in this server, including antis. Venting is okay, grabbing pitchforks isn’t.
3) This is a non-discriminatory space. Hateful speech about race, sexuality, gender identity, ethnic background, or disabilities will not be tolerated.
4) NSFW chat is accepted in all channels. Please spoiler tag super explicit content, such as graphic descriptions of sexual acts, xeno, etc. Super explicit discussion about Rexsoka should be done in #thirsty-chat.
5) NSFW images/gifs must be spoiler tagged. NSFW content includes nudity, sexual content, violence, etc. Basically anything that you wouldn’t want your boss getting a glimpse of over your shoulder. Please make sure to also spoiler tag the url for images linked from outside sources such as Twitter or Tumblr; this will hide the thumbnail as well.
6) Spoilers must be spoiler tagged. See “Spoiler Guidelines” below for more information.
7) Triggering content must be spoiler tagged. See “Triggers Guidelines” below for more information.
8) Use appropriate tags in your fics. In addition to trigger warnings, please tag tropes that may not be of interest to all readers. This includes topics like cheating, dub-con, pregnancy, OCs as major characters, crossovers with other fandoms, etc.
9) No clonecest. Clonecest refers to any romantic ship between two clones. This includes sharing fics, fanart, or any other content. We welcome people who ship clonecest, but we do not support its discussion in this space.
10) No Master/Padawan ships. This includes Anisoka, Obikin, Quiobi, etc. Due to the power imbalance, grooming aspect, and underage content that is commonly associated with these ships, we do not support their discussion in our server.
11) No Rex or Ahsoka ships that aren’t Rexsoka. This includes Luxsoka, Barrisoka, Kaesoka, Rexwalker, Rexobi, Codex, OC/reader/"you" ships, etc. We understand there are lots of multishippers out there, but we want this space to be exclusively Rexsoka.
12) Rex and/or Ahsoka having past/present relationships before they get together in fics is acceptable. So long as this content is not explicit and Rexsoka is still the focus/endgame. Please tag this appropriately and give a content warning when sharing your fic in the server.
13) No underage Rexsoka, unless it’s platonic. This means no content where Rex is an adult and he is sexually attracted to Ahsoka when she is a minor. Unless their ages are adjusted, no explicit romantic content before season 7. Pre-relationship fluff and Ahsoka having a baby crush are acceptable.
14) Do not share/repost content created by server members without their explicit permission. There may be instances where fics, art, headcanons, and general chatter is only intended to be shared in this private space.
15) Be respectful of the mods’ decisions and do not attempt to “mini mod”. If you see something that you think violates a server rule or have concerns about how a situation was handled, please DM one of the mods. In our efforts to keep channels clean and on topic, mods will delete any messages related to the incident after it is resolved.
16) The mods have the right to remove a member who is not in compliance with these rules. If a member is continuously violating rules, harassing other members, or otherwise impeding the enjoyment of the server for other members, the mods will determine a corrective action to be taken.
*Spoiler Guidelines and Trigger Guidelines (along with the above rules) can all be found in the server under #rules-and-guidelines.

Bad Batch 3x15 The Cavalry Has Arrived spoilers under the cut
oh my gods, they... they actually got a happy ending. I was certain they were doomed, that at least one of them wouldn't make it off of Tantiss alive. only Crosshair's right hand didn't make it, but all things considered that's way better than how it could've gone
in a way, we also did finally get closure about Tech... no, he might not have been turned into one of Hemlock's special forces, but his sacrifice on Eridau (sp?) was ultimately not in vain. he is not gone, just marching far away
to think that Crosshair was considering Plan 99 and had to have Hunter talk him out of it nearly started the waterworks pretty much right off the bat. "Clone Force 99 died with Tech" still broke my heart
seeing them get to return to Pabu and finally have the peaceful life they deserve is what ultimately moved me to tears. AND THE TIMESKIP AT THE END, with our little Omega all grown up wearing Hunter's bandana in her hair 🥹 and sure, Hunter was already a DILF, but at that point in time he was really starting to show it 😹
"you're our kid, Omega"
and she took Tech's goggles with her, because he taught her how to fly
as much as I am sad to see this show come to an end, and that this may be the last we'll see of our beloved mutant clones, they will all hold a place near and dear to my heart. Season 7 of Clone Wars premiered at a very rough point in my life and the 4, later 5, and then 6 of them brought me immeasurable amounts of comfort. seeing them get their hopeful ending, in true Star Wars fashion, I personally feel was very fulfilling
as Hunter said a few episodes ago, there may still be hope for us yet
