I HAVE HAD THIS ON MY MIND FOREVER!!!!

I personally have multiple head canons for this comment and the whole confusion about Kyborg’s age. (I like the thought that Kyborg is a 100 year old elf even if canon does not suggest this.)

1. He is a very young elf, only in his 20s or 30s. Which would mean that by his fellow elves standards he is not a ‘true’ adult. Which would make sense considering how immature he acts. [This is probably the most canon answer]

2. That line isn’t canon to the dnd podcast universe, only to the puppet universe. So TFTSD!Kyborg is in his 100s but SDA!Kyborg isn’t.

3. He wildly misinterpreted the amount of time he spent in the Everwinter woods. He was actually there for 90+ years but in his head it was only 8 years. I know it’s a stretch but I mean, he probably didn’t have a calendar out in the darn wilderness so…

4. He only spent 8 years there, and spent the rest of the decades traveling around, doing things such as learning Draconic, training, and actually reintegrating himself back into society. He did this for a while until he found out about the Infinight Intern application and then traveled to Boulderay. (So he is 100 something)

5. He counts meeting the golem Parkilex (and also the mystery man) as the break in his isolation. He did get the arm as a teenager so the timeline makes sense.

im gonna sound fucking high; but there’s just something about minecraft ‘body language’, man.

the way people crouch and do little bounces/bows to say hello, i’m friendly! the way they punch as a substitute for pointing or waving hello. the slow pulling out of weapon as a threat, quickly removing armor to show you are peaceful. sticking little signs in the ground and writing messages. the way people‘s avatars go still when they are thinking, or laughing so much their hands came off the keyboard. square eye contact. jumping, spinning, bobbing your head to music. punching your friend jokingly.

half of it is human perception but the other half is ways of communication we created ourselves, because people just are like that. they express themselves.
