Wish I Would've Sued

Several years ago, back in the early 2000s, I had a heart incident. A cardiologist performed a Card Cath and they informed my PCP that I had at the time that I had a clogged artery. I wish I could remember what year.

I should inform you that said Doctor was having severe personal problems at that time. His wife was dying of cancer.

He told me, and please don't judge me here, that it would be okay. He said that my heart would just grow a new one. I swear to you that's what he said.

I didn't think that sounded right, but I went with it. Again, please don't judge me. It wasn't terribly long after that that the Doctor's wife passed. Of course he took some time off. He didn't come back. He abruptly move him and his daughters to somewhere else. I never found out where.

A few years later (I'm not sure how long tbh) I had a heart attack. That was February 9, 2009.

IF I wasn't told "it will grow a new one"...

IF he had referred me to a cardiologist at that time...

MAYBE things would've been caught sooner and I wouldn't have had that heart attack and the many heart issues I've had since.

IF...

I wish I had sued him for medical malpractice.

It's too late now. Statute of limitations is only 2 years.
