hi ty for asking me im vibrating. havent gotten to talk about this au now for three years and now that chapter 2 is like real and this time i can like........draw occasionally and i have more understanding of nuance...... [grips table] [screams]
this isnt quite what you asked but heres what's everyone from chapter 1 has been Up To with a little bit of context (and under a read more bc it got LENGTHY):
kris - professional stay at home teen (they live w/ asgore n help run the flower shop sometimes. this decision was entirely bc i dont like toriel). was wrongly diagnosed w Sudden Soul Rejection when they were incredibly young and given an experimental transplanted soul as a replacement. it works for them fine, give or take having to see gaster once a month for checkups. but sometimes the soul makes them skittish n decides they're going to sit in front of the pc and play 30 consecutive hours of a certain simulation game and not even let them drown people in the pool. if it were entirely up to them, they'd be like. passing out on the sofa to documentaries about bigfoot. or practicing cool knife tricks to impress their friends at their next tabletop meetup
- EDITED IN: the soul is kind of their friend. they are wearing a hypothetical get along shirt. most of the time, they agree on actions and things to do. tends to refer to themself + their soul as we/us which originally was just something they did in their head but they kept slipping in speech/text n just became a Thing of how they talk. switches to 'I/Me' whenever smth is wrong.
- also edited in: they believe the soul they have is their original soul bc nobody has told them otherwise. whenever theyre like 'oh yeah we think about our soul n view it as a separate entity to us like. all the time. it likes to hurt if we make too many choices it doesn't seem to like and kind of forces us to be a toned down version of what we want to be but thats just how souls are haha' and everyone is like.... 'Hey Kris That's Really Not How It Is.' theyre like. 'huh. gonna ignore that for now' - this was going to be a plot point
toriel - head of H0MEWOR1D (H01)'s department of education; kind of lost her roots as a simple math teacher as she was pushed into a lot of power she didn't even really seek out. divorced asgore over some miscommunications in their relationship; also loosely as a result of grief from asriel's death
asgore - the same. runs a lil flower/gift shop. people come in more to talk with him than to buy flowers most of the time, though
asriel Flowey - he's back in flower form, thanks to the government an accident. causes a lot of technology glitches wherever he goes, and wants revenge. isn't sure how to go about it. asriel "died" around 8 years before the story takes place and kris still misses him and refuses to even THINK about even the IDEA of calling someone their sibling after what happened, just in case it somehow happens a second time
susie - more of the same really. she spends most of her time either at grillby's (she's sort of become his assistant n helps with opening/closing. it just happened) or getting into low-stakes trouble w/ kris
noelle - she's in the city's equivalent of college and shes so tired. shes So Abysmally Tired n got kinda pushed 2 follow in her mom's footsteps. she's rarely around anymore except through text or on monsters & mages (dnd) night. (however.........she will come back w/ a long break n hang out w everyone again)
berdly - tbh i didnt even consider berdly when i made the au initially. idk what he's doing. probably in a similar situation to noelle??? canonically got kicked out of the M&M group due to clashes w/ other players but lurks in their group chat to posts memes sometimes
didnt rly think of any other of kris' classmates (+ their families) after ch1 and probably will continue to not, until chs 3-5 come out and i gotta whip up roles and histories for like. a lotta guys all of a sudden. i also forgot about noelle's parents
sans - runs a convenience store that everyone kind of thinks is a front, but also it has really cheap snacks and the local teens make a point of stopping there after school. so essentially, more of the same papyrus - similar to ut. is a very polite and sweet boy but you'll know when he's coming
grillby - he's back. he runs a bar like back in ut but the cozy vibes and weird-for-a-bar hours keep attracting kids who need parents, so half of his menu is comprised of overly sweet mocktails. usually only frequented by monsters
QC - same as usual. has a "rivalry" with grillbz but, theyre besties and have a book club
mettaton - he's real and he's back. he's similar to how he is back in ut w/ his EX body. likes to hang out at grillby's and talk to unsuspecting fans. has a show for everything
napstablook - similar to how they are in ut. helps mtt with making music sometimes. doesn't leave the house too often, but spends a lot of time posting on undernet
undyne - unfortunately. more of the same. she is a cop in the monster district. i am also upset by this but couldn't think of anything better for her
alphys - a doctor studying under dr. gaster in the hopes she'll one day take over his research. she spends most of her time as a nurse with a bigger title, though, and blocks out the weirdness of her job with anime.
gaster - weird guy. H01's top soul researcher and resident House wannabe. trying to manufacture the ultimate soul that can be controlled with simple internal switches, but so far he's only had 1 (very limited) success with a certain human. monsters just melt, and darkners just sorta......get weird... he's onto Something, though.
ralsei - lonely boy with some very strange hobbies. popular on UnderNet for poetry, baking videos, and general cryptid vibe. is the DM for the monsters & mages group (also seems to think everything is actually very fine in H01 when it is very much not)
lancer - about the same. professional Round Boy. lives w/ rouxls full time. follows susie around like a lost puppy and calls himself her "underling."
rouxls - runs a hotel/casino kind of deal where the objective Bad Guys hang out, and usually ends up doing any of the spade king's paperwork.
spade king - mafia godfather. kind of a dick. don't play cards with him
seam - works with the spade king as his right hand cat more or less because they have for a lot of years and are in that 'sunk cost fallacy' zone. thinks of retiring to a quiet life in the monster section of town like, daily
jevil - used to work with the spade king, but got imprisoned for Crimes. got weird after The Accident (separate from asriel's accident)
temmies (all) - dont really get mentioned except offhandedly but they run the monster space station. so far, are the only monsters who have ever been to space.
as far as chapter 2 goes:
yeah i dont have much so far for characters. in the original version of the au i accidentally made darkners as a whole just kinda..... not great? like all sorts of weird organized crime ties n sort of going out of their way to be A Problem to the city (not even in like. a revolution way. in a working against them but with the same goals kinda way). with the whole context it worked At The Time, bc i just had the spade king to look to as a villain, and also in this au the darkners are just trying to survive a world that ultimately was not built for them (that humans think they own, and monsters sort of... seeing this and wondering what it'll mean for them whichever one wins), but w/ new info abt how the dark world works n more guys to work with i want to kind of. edit the vibe a bit. like yea darkners will ultimately do whatever it takes to take over H01, but maybe in a better way than like. idk. all this. it doesnt have to be peaceful or anything it just has to be more adaptable as we meet more kinds of darkners
however yeah i thought up 'queen as some sort of childless mommy blogger/influencer' and that completely revived all memory i had of this au. she should be on mtt's talkshow. also she sells collectible wine glasses w/ her likeness
spamton is another one of gaster's failed soul experiments, but he hasn't melted yet, and seems............fine? sort of. so he hasn't gotten decommissioned yet. he does want to give you malware tho. hot monster singles in your area n all that

Training mit Hütchen? Vielleicht kennt ihr es ja noch aus dem Sportunterricht oder erinnert euch an euer früheres Mannschaftstraining. Übungen mit Markierungen oder z.B. mit Hütchen sind eine beliebte Methode um Schnellkraft, Koordination und Gelenkstabilität zu verbessern. Dabei könnt ihr grundsätzlich alle Bewegungsabläufe aus dem Lauf-ABC in ein Hütchen-Training integrieren. Außerdem sind kleine Sprünge auf einem oder auf zwei Beinen, Slalom, seitliches Laufen, Rückwärtslaufen oder auch Jump-Squats über die Hütchen zu empfehlen. Wollt ihr eure Fuß-Koordination trainieren, sind auch Schrittfolgen sinnvoll, die ihr in den Zwischenräumen ausführt. Etwa zwei kleine Schritte vorwärts zu laufen und dann einen Fuß nach links in einen Zwischenraum zu setzen. Versucht dabei eine möglichst hohe Trittfrequenz zu halten. Je komplizierter und länger die Schrittfolgen sind, desto anspruchsvoller wird auch das Training. Übrigens müsst ihr auch nicht unbedingt einen Sack Hütchen mitbringen, um solche Trainings möglich zu machen. in an au im working on, sans runs a little convenience store in a city that, similar to his grocery store in dr, was... dubiously obtained. it’s the kind of place people seem to randomly find themselves at if they’re lost, even if they weren’t headed towards it at all.
it really is always open, but nobody’s ever seen any other employees except for the short skeleton himself...

i have an au loving gremlin brain that likes to see 3-7 of my special interests and just mash em together. the problem is that many of these things were in no way, shape, or form meant to be mashed up and i’ve never had a coherent plot in my life

its been like a week and i still have literally no idea how im going to fit my city au into chapter 2. like. ch2 takes place in a city. cityrune is about. Existing In A (dystopian, dark) City. what do i do with all this new information.
also the au continues to be essentially my outlet for patience soul kris / their soul was swapped propaganda dating back from the release of ch1

yeehaw lad you didnt specify so im gonna assume you want answers for the wholeass gang from this ask(11) What does your OC think about magic? Is your OC generally for or against magic?
Twine - His idea of magic is a bit closer to someone being exceptionally good at something on the first try or being able to public speak or just always knowing where to find something. it’s very simplistic but its his little touch on it. after all, magic doesn’t really exist in the AU he’s from,,, he’s very pro- the idea of being able to cast spells and set things ablaze with just his mind though. it’d be a useful power especially with his side job.
Tivon - magic is for NERDS and tivon is a HUGE NERD. he loves the idea but again, unfortunately, it doesn’t work in cityrune. so he just reads lots of books on the subject instead.
Teal - ykno those people who like. had a HP phase growing up and forgot to grow out of it? like. the same kind of deal as those disney people who never grow out of being an abysmal disney kid? that’s teal. he wants to develop tech that imitates how magic works so he can follow his dreams of being a cool wizard. he’s so pro-magic he nearly crashed his company over it.
Tinsel - tin has been in the dark world so he knows magic is not only real, but something he very easily can manipulate!! he has lightning-based spells and he’s cool!! hes alarmingly pro-magic and has forgotten once or twice he cannot summon lightning tornadoes on the surface to be mean to other high schoolers.
Clair - magic is fake but at least DnD is immortal
Silvie - you see a lot of weird shit as a bartender, especially in a world where nothing’s set up to make sense -- while they specifically don’t have much magic to work with, other people they see do. they’re very pro-magic as long as they don’t mess up their bar too badly with it.
(26) What would your OC do if they were face to face with a rabid zombie?
Twine - Run, probably. His gun probably wouldn’t be very effective, so it’s best to just. fuck off as fast as possible
Tivon - most of him is made out of metal. what is the zombie gonna do? chew on his metal arms? stand and fight. its just one zombie how bad can it be?
Teal - hires someone else to deal with it. probably reinforces his manor so nobody gets in or out. a zombie apocalypse sounds....inconvenient.
Tinsel - he, with his sidekick who shares his singular braincell, would probably fight the thing
Clair - kill it, study it. have a grand ol time at the autopsy.
Silvie - kill it. what? like it’s hard?
(29) How likely is it that your OC would be charmed by and fall prey to mermaids?
Twine - mermaids? no. mermen? yeah. they’d just have to look at him and he’d be like. ‘hey! take me with you!’ at least in theory.
Tivon - total immunity across the board. an android tho? hm.........
Teal - thinks the concept of mermen/mermaids are........strange. total immunity
Tinsel - would only fall victim if maple did, as the majority of his character is deadass just “yeah i would jump off a bridge if my friends did” but like, alive

to put things in perspective, here's my incomplete to do list for just dr:
update cityrune au
update rustrune au (significantly less hard than cityrune bc rustrune also slaps hard and isnt remotely as intense)
design a fan chapter
go through and document every single choice option and what side of the dialogue box theyre on (ykno for research purposes)
finalize the plots for (working titles) Flower in the Frost, Dr. Gaster's Assimilation Experiment and Tinsel and Trouble (also write them but. for the sake of having a max of 3 things per thing we're just going to say 'plot out')
finish writing + editing the still unnamed ficlet where asgore and kris hang out but its awkward
write at least 1 fic where berdly and kris play video games together and it's distinctly not awkward and they are both weird
finish writing + editing To Dust
finish the cityrune art thats been sitting open and unsaved in sai now for like 3 days
i want to do all of them at once. reasonably here finalizing some plots or finishing this pixel art would be fastest and easiest to do but then i think abt the other things that make my brain feel like pop rocks and i somehow end up doing nothing. i'm 25/3 in the ranked mode of that card game i like to play and i started playing cookie clicker again
man its like. i got so many ideas. so many things i wanna do that i cant remotely focus on any of them, bc i feel like i should somehow be working on everything at once, and its just manifesting as Complete Inability To Do Anything, Ever

Viel größeren Einfluss auf deinen Erfolg hat es allerdings die Ernährung zu kontrollieren, was nichts anderes bedeutet als Kalorien zu zählen. Wie hart muss Intervalltraining sein? Intervalltraining wird auch HIIT genannt, was für “High Intensive Intervall Training” steht. Das Prinzip dieser Trainingsmethode ist für alle Sportarten gleich. Man versucht durch Bewegung den Puls möglichst ans Maximum zu bringen, um ihn danach in einer Pause wieder möglichst weit herabzusetzen. Diesen Vorgang wiederholt man, um einen sehr großen Trainingsimpuls zu setzen. In den Intervallen ist es wichtig ans Limit zu gehen, um den Puls sehr hoch zu bekommen. Mögliche Bewegungen sind dabei Laufen, Radfahren, Rudern oder auch Ganzkörper-Übungen wie Jump Squats. Im Prinzip geht eigentlich alles, bei dem möglichst viele Muskeln gleichzeitig bewegt werden. So wichtig wie in den Intervallen viel Gas zu geben, ist es aber auch in der Pause sich wirklich zu erholen. Das bedeutet darauf zu achten, den Puls wieder zu senken. Ansonsten wird das Training einfach zu hart. Insbesondere die Läufer haben oft Probleme in den Intervall-Pausen wirklich langsam zu werden und den Puls so zu senken. Nutzt man die Pausen nicht richtig zur Erholung aus, verausgabt man sich zu sehr und erhöht so die Gefahr einer Überlastung oder sogar einer Verletzung. Training ausfallen lassen? Wenn es darum geht Fortschritte im Training zu erzielen, ist die Regelmäßigkeit der Einheiten entscheidend. Kontinuierlich zu trainieren ist dabei sogar wichtiger, als eine hohe Intensität in der Trainingseinheit zu haben. Ein Training ausfallen zu lassen, ist nicht nur für den Fortschritt eurer Leistung schlecht, sondern auch für eure allgemeine Trainingsmotivation. Noch eine weitere Einheit zu schwänzen erfordert schon weniger Überwindung als bei der ersten, sodass man schnell eine ganze Woche oder sogar mehr aus dem Training kommt. Deshalb ist die Regelmäßigkeit des Trainings wichtiger als die Intensität. Versucht also lieber ein lasches Training zu haben, als garkeins. Habt ihr mal einen schlechten Tag und fühlt euch nicht so fit, trainiert lieber leicht und bleibt dafür im Trainingsrhytmus. Eine Einheit mit reduzierter Intensität ist immer noch viel besser, als sich auf dem Sofa über sich selbst zu ärgern und Gefahr zu laufen aus der Routine zu geraten. Springen mach dich schneller und stärker? Seit einiger Zeit ist das Springen als Trainingsmethode immer beliebter geworden - und das auch zu Recht. Zu Springen ist eine natürliche Bewegungsform, für die dein Körper ausgezeichnet konstruiert ist (mit ein paar Einschränkungen, zu denen ich gleich komme). Einen Sprung auszuführen, ist für die Muskulatur eine intensive Belastung, weswegen Trainings mit vielen Jumps für Kraftsportler und Sprinter gut geeignet sind. Neben der Beinmuskulatur wird die Bauchmuskulatur beim Springen stark gefordert. Ihr könnt auf ein Hindernis hinauf, über eines hinüber oder auch einfach auf der Stelle Springen, um ein intensives Training zu gestalten. Je nach Leistungsstand und gewählter Sprungart, solltet ihr etwa zehn bis fünfzehn Wiederholungen ausführen und danach kurz pausieren. Also ganz wie beim Krafttraining. Einen Nachteil haben Sprung-Trainings allerdings: Man verletzt sich sehr leicht und unter Umständen sogar schwer. Bei Jumps auf einen Kasten oder eine Anhöhe, landet man schnell auf dem Schienbein, wenn die Kraft nicht reicht. Generell besteht auch immer die Gefahr der unsauberen Landung, die Verstauchungen und sogar Brüche zur Folge haben kann. Aus diesem Grund springe ich mit meinen Kunden eher ungern und nur wenn eine sehr gute Körperspannung und Kontrolle vorhanden ist. Wer übergewichtig ist, Gelenkprobleme hat, unter Rückenschmerzen leidet oder andere gesundheitliche Probleme hat, sollte von Sprüngen im Training erstmal absehen. Beste Laufstrecke in Hamburg? Ein großer Vorteil des Laufens ist, dass es überall und zu jeder Zeit möglich ist. Man benötigt kein Equipment, muss sich nicht nach Öffnungszeiten richten und braucht auch keinen Partner. Was man braucht, ist eine geeignete Laufstrecke. 1. Alster: Die wohl am häufigsten gelaufene Route in Hamburg ist etwa 7,3 km lang und geht um die Außenalster herum. Bei schönem Wetter muss man sich allerdings auf viel Betrieb einstellen, der nicht nur aus anderen Läufern besteht. @alsterrunning misst außerdem eure Rundenzeit, wenn ihr euch auf der Homepage registriert und den Chip am Schuh befestigt. Tretet gegen die anderen Alsterrunner an und werdet Tagessieger. Sonntags könnt ihr so auch mit mir um die Wette laufen. ;) 2. Stadtpark: Der Park ist zentral gelegen und durch seinen Labyrinth-artigen Aufbau eine sehr abwechslungsreiche Strecke. Der Weg außen um den Park herum ist ca 6 km lang. Am Planetarium treffen sich täglich Läufer und Outdoor-Sport-Gruppen, um gemeinsam an den Stufen des monumentalen Gebäudes zu trainieren. Im dunklen Winter ist es um das Planetarium herum auch abends beleuchtet. 3. Hafencity: Der neueste Stadtteil Hamburgs ist nicht nur durch die Elbphilharmonie eine Touristenattraktion, sondern auch durch den futuristischen Look des gesamten Gebiets. Was viele an der Hafencity nicht mögen, ist für Trainierende ganz angenehm. Leere Promenaden, freie Stufen, Spielplätze ohne Kinder und Bänke ohne Rentner. Hier kann man ungestört Trainings jeder Art absolvieren.
