⭐My kdrama 2023 wrapped⭐
I’ve seen some other blogs doing this and thought it would be a fun tradition to start myself. So here’s my 2023 wrapped of the dramas I’ve watched this year (in order of when I finished watching them):
Big Mouth (★★★★☆) I just remember being so engaged, glued to the screen the entire time because I had a hard time keeping up with everything happening. It keeps you guessing the whole time, and at least I never saw the twists coming. The actors were so good, especially during the darker, more heavy scenes, which can sometimes be hard to really get into. After watching, I recommended this to a friend, and she loved it as well.
Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow (★★★★☆) Oh boy, where do I even start. The world building here blew me away, and the drama is absolutely gorgeous. I adore the characters and all their relationships with each other. I do think season one has the better story overall, as season two did some things I didn’t really love, but overall I love this drama.
W: Two Worlds (★★★★☆) This was recommended to me by a friend, and I had a lot of fun running all my theories by her (I was usually wrong, but hey). It is a bit of a messy drama for multiple reasons, but in the end, I had a lot of fun watching, which is why it ended up with four stars. Sometimes it doesn’t have to be amazing, it just has to be a fun experience.
Soundtrack #1 (★★☆☆☆) Full disclosure – I only watched his because of Park Hyung-sik. The drama is too short, too superficial. It’s okay for what it is, but I was so bored watching this. I guess it has its cute scenes and all, but it doesn’t do anything for me.
Our Blooming Youth (★★★★☆) Yes, I watched this because I wanted a proper Hyung-sik drama, so what? I ended up liking the drama more for the female leads in the end, though, so that was a happy surprise. A murder-mystery with a badass female lead was not something I thought this drama would give me, but I loved it even more for it.
Joseon Attorney: A Morality (★★☆☆☆) I was so excited about this drama only to end up so disappointed in it all. The writing is just… really not good. The characters annoy me so much and everything just feels fake. The setup itself could have made for such an interesting story, but they really did nothing right with it.
While You Were Sleeping (★★★☆☆) Overall a pretty good drama, though I do remember it dragging out at certain points with repeating storylines. A pretty standard rom-com with a cute couple and actors with good chemistry. Nothing that blew me away, but not a bad drama at all, either.
Black Knight (★★★☆☆) A typical dystopian story produced by Netflix. It was good, everything looked amazing, and the actors were so good. I do think it was too short, and therefore felt rushed in some places – especially the last episode that just went absolutely off the rails. Overall, nothing mind-blowing, which is why it ended up with three stars.
The Glory (★★★★☆) This was everything I had hoped it to be, and it certainly lived up to the hype. Definitely a dark, very heavy drama that deals with a lot of serious trauma, and I think they handled it perfectly. It’s unhinged in the best ways, and really takes you for a ride.
Hidden Love (★★★★★) At first, I was really iffy about the age difference, but I think they handled it beautifully and nothing ever felt wrong or gross to me. This is a love story I’m going to be comparing future romance dramas to for a long time. They are such a cute couple, and I just loved everything about this drama.
King the Land (★★★☆☆) Now this drama got a lot of hype when it was airing, and it did start out so good. But in the end, it just fell flat for me. It was pretty to watch, but it felt hollow and without real feeling. They did all the typical rom-com clichés that I usually love, but nothing ever really hit properly. It’s not a bad drama by any means, it just didn’t really resonate with me.
The Uncanny Counter: Counter Punch (★★★★★) I’m always so wary about second seasons of shows I love, because it’s so easy to mess up and can really make or break a show, but they really did everything so right with this season. I cannot think of a single thing I don’t like about this drama. The characters, the found family, the friends – it’s just perfection.
My Lovely Liar (★★☆☆☆) Started out fun and quirky, but it just lost me along the way. It’s such a messy drama, and you never really know what’s going on. There wasn’t ever really any feeling in any of the writing, and it felt like they were just pulling storylines out of a hat at random. I think it could have been a good drama, they just made all the wrong decisions.
Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun (★★★☆☆) Now overall I have given this drama four stars, but for just this season, I can’t give it more than three. It has nothing to do with the change of cast, I just kind of felt like nothing ever really happened in the story? Compared to the first season where we were constantly moving around and learning about the world, this season was such a stand-still. Don’t get me wrong, I love this drama – the world-building is absolutely insane, and I will definitely watch another season if they ever actually make it. I just like the first season better.
Strong Girl Nam-soon (★★★☆☆) Just go watch Strong Woman Do Bong-soon instead. Is this a bad drama? Not at all, it’s cute and all, but did it need to be made? No, I don’t think so. Very generic Kdrama overall, nothing special at all about it.

Tim Drake: Vigilante by Night, Nail Artist by… Also Night?
You wouldn’t think it at first glance, but Tim Drake has the best nails in the Batfamily. Not just “good for a guy who punches people at night”—no, immaculate. We’re talking glossy top coats, intricate designs, and cuticles so well-maintained they could make a spa technician weep.
No one really knows when it started. Maybe it was stress relief, maybe it was an exercise in precision, or maybe Tim just realized his hands looked too rough after long nights on patrol and decided, why not?
—
Picture this:
Jason: staring at Tim’s nails “Is that… a mini Gotham skyline?”
Tim, blowing on his fresh polish: “Yeah. Took me two hours.”
Jason: “…I can’t tell if that’s badass or terrifying.”
—
Or this:
Damian watches Tim paint his nails, eyes narrowing. “How do you keep them so precise?”
Tim grins. “Steady hand. Want to try?”
Damian hesitates, then nods. “I suppose… for training purposes.”
An hour later, Damian’s sporting deep green nails with tiny golden swords. He’s hooked.
—
The Batcave Chronicles:
Bruce walks in, about to give a mission briefing. Stops. Blinks.
Tim is carefully applying tiny bat symbols on a matte black base.
Bruce: “…Is this really necessary?”
Tim: “Mental health care, Bruce. Ever heard of it?”
Bruce decides he has not, in fact, heard of it. Leaves.
—
Justice League Meetings:
Wonder Woman notices during a debrief. “Timothy, your nails are beautiful.”
Tim, beaming: “Thanks. This week’s theme is constellations.”
Hal Jordan, muttering: “How does he fight crime with those?”
Tim, deadpan: “Better than you without them.”
—
And don’t even get the batfam started on the glow-in-the-dark polish he wears on patrol. Steph still brings up the time Tim knocked out a thug, and the guy’s last words before unconsciousness were: “Are those… holographic?”
Tim Drake: world’s most sleep-deprived detective, but you’ll never catch him with chipped nails or uncut cuticles.
#tim drake#batfam#nail art#gotham's finest (nails)#even crime fighters need cuticle oil#inspired by me doing my own nails today#i think tim should definitely love painting his nails with the craziest designs ever#its stress relief as much as it is practicing his concentration and patience#damian should be introduced to nail art and start doing his own nails too#tim and damian should bond over doing their nails

Zoro and fem!reader are having a drinking contest and a barely sober reader ends up dancing with an arrogant stranger.
Content Warnings: Alcohol consumption, mild references to sex, non-detailed descriptions of vomiting.
"I wasn't Jealous!"
"Give up, swordsman, you'll never beat me!" you exclaimed.
"No shot, Princess!" The swordsman barked, downing his third beer of the night, "There's no way I'm letting a woman out-drink me!"
With a determined look in your eye, you waved down the bartender and ordered your third drink, "Watch me."
Zoro laughed in response and followed your lead, requesting another beer.
The rules were simple—a drinking contest where the loser had to help Sanji with the dishes for a week. You didn't plan on losing, so you made sure to choose a punishment that Zoro would despise.
However, after watching you down your sixth drink of the night, Zoro began to think that accepting your challenge may have been a bad decision, especially because you started swaying just after the fourth round.
"Alright Princess," he said sternly, leaning in so that you could hear him over all the noise inside the busy tavern, "maybe you should call it quits for the night."
"I will do no such thing!" you exclaimed, shaking your head profusely, "not until you surrender!"
Zoro paused, weighed his competitive spirit against the thought of carrying you, blacked out, back to the Sunny…
It was a short walk to the docks. You'd be fine.
Taking his silence as a refusal to yield, you waved down the tired-looking bartender and ordered another round.
A few minutes later, you felt the sudden urge to use the restroom as seven rounds of drinks finally reached your bladder. You stood, steadying yourself against the bar.
"Be right back," you slurred to the swordsman before making your way across the tavern towards the lady's room, putting a great deal of effort into appearing as sober as possible.
Zoro chuckled as he watched you stumble away.
You joined the Strawhats three months ago when the crew docked in your hometown for supplies. Zoro and Luffy stopped for a drink at your father's bar after being chased by an angry shopkeeper for "scaring away paying customers." Luffy caught you scribbling a story on a napkin behind the bar and, after sneaking a peak at what you'd written, decided you'd be the crew's chronicler, responsible for documenting the Strawhat's "glorious adventures."
The swordsman didn't talk to you much at first, but he soon got used to your presence as his crow's nest became your favorite writing spot. He'd noticed that you'd stop writing to watch him train sometimes and found himself pushing harder to impress you. Then, after a close run-in with the Blackbeard Pirates, he convinced you to let him teach you how to wield a sword. His chances of losing you were significantly lower if you were armed.
The bartender slid a glass of water across the bar, snapping the green-haired man out of his thoughts.
"For your friend," he winked, "You'd better give up soon, the poor lass is going to drink herself sick."
The green-haired man figured the barkeep was probably right anddecided to "give up" for your sake once you returned. You'd probably be too hungover to remember it in the morning, anyway.
Yet, 5 more minutes passed. You still hadn't returned. Zoro let out an exasperated sigh, no way she got herself stuck in the bathroom he thought.
Zoro crossed the tavern floor and lifted his hand to knock on the bathroom door.
Before his knuckles hit the wood, however, the door swung open to reveal a woman who looked nothing like you. "Wrong one, handsome, the men's is over there," she said, gesturing towards a door down the hall.
Zoro didn't respond, too focused on soothing the mild panic rising in his chest. The woman gave him an odd look before maneuvering around him and disappearing into the crowd on the dance floor.
Where the fuck did she go? He thought, How on earth did I lose track of her?
The swordsman circled the tavern's main room, his anxiety growing with every face he spied that wasn't yours.
Just as he started to get the horrible feeling that you'd somehow left the bar without him noticing, he caught a glimpse of you near the center of the crowd of dancing bodies.
Eyes locked on your position, Zoro pushed through the crowd to find you dancing in the center of it all. His panic eased, relieved to have found you, but anger quickly took his place as he noticed the hands of an unfamiliar man wrapped around your waist, guiding your hips with his to the music, holding you too close for the swordsman's comfort.
The stranger spun you around, and your eyes met his. Your smile widened. "Zoro! There you are,∼" you shouted, pushing away from your dance partner and stumbling towards the swordsman, "I wondered where you'd gone!"
"Hey, you disappeared on me, Woman." Zoro argued, pushing his index finger against your forehead.
You took his hand and spun around, "Whatever. Come dance with me∼"
"I don't dance"
"C'mon∼" you snaked your arms around his neck, pushing yourself against him.
Zoro felt every inch of his body grow warmer at your touch; his mind ran blank for a moment before he reminded himself that he should probably get you home. He gently pushed you off of him, "You've had a lot to drink, maybe we should-"
"Don't waste your time with this killjoy, sweetheart," A voice sounded over your shoulder. Your dance partner appeared behind you, reaching for your left arm, which now hung loosely by your side. "Come hang out with the fun people∼"
Zoro couldn't stop the glare that spread across his features as the stranger gave your arm a slight tug, which, in your unstable state, was enough to make you stumble right into him. The man caught you, arms pressed tight around your waist to provide as much stability as he could without falling to the ground with you.
You gave him a sheepish smile. "oops, sorry."
"You're welcome to fall for me any time, darling." He winked.
Zoro felt rage start to seep back through his veins.
"Alright, princess, time to go. You're gonna hurt yourself and I promised Nami I'd return you in one piece," the swordsman said sternly, reaching for you.
The stranger leaned closer to Zoro, still holding you firm against him, "C'mon man, don't be a cockblock." He said with a smirk.
Zoro's blood reached its boiling point. Before he could stop himself, he swung his already clenched fist straight into the bastard's face, propelling him backward. You would have gone flying with him if Zoro hadn't caught your wrist and pulled you back.
Your stomach heaved at the sudden commotion, and the room spun as you hunched over and vomited, barely missing Zoro's right foot.
The swordsman didn't give you a chance to recover as your former dance partner stood back up, red in the face with anger and humiliation. Not to mention the bartender, who was making his way around the bar to catch whoever was disturbing the peace.
Zoro scooped you up and dashed out of the tavern. Of course, he would have loved to stay for the fight, but he didn't want to risk getting you caught in the middle of it, especially in your heavily intoxicated state.
Once he was certain no one was tailing you both, Zoro turned into an alleyway and set you down, where you proceeded to hurl the contents of your stomach onto the pavement. The green-haired man sighed and pulled your hair away from your face as he waited for you to finish.
Once your stomach was empty, you stood. Still a little dizzy, but at least the nausea had subsided.
"Better?" Zoro asked, removing his hand from your hair.
"Much better."
"You shouldn't dance with strange men." He chided.
"And you shouldn't punch people just because you're jealous."
Zoro felt his face flush. "I wasn't jealous, woman."
"Yeah you were." you teased, pointing a finger into his chest, "I was just having fun and you punched him because you were jealous." you smiled, drawing out the syllables in the word "jealous" just to tease him.
"Remind me never to let you have more than three drinks ever again."
"And remind me never to make you jealous again." you giggled.
"I was not!"
"Were too∼"
"Why would I care who you dance with!?"
"I don't know, you tell me∼"
"I can't because I don't!"
"Then why'd you punch him?"
"Because he just wanted to fuck you!"
You both went silent. You'd been so focused on the argument that you hadn't realized you'd been moving closer to Zoro with every retort.
You held his gaze and a devious grin spread across your lips, "And why does that bother you so much?"
Checkmate.
Zoro remained silent, but he didn't pull away from you. "I-" his eyes flickered down to your lips. For a second, you were sure he was going to kiss you.
"Forget it." He sighed, smelling the alcohol on your breath; kissing you while you were like this would make him no better than that bastard in the tavern. He started to back away, "You're drunk, you don't know what you're-"
"I'm sober enough to know you want to kiss me."
The swordsman froze, heat rushing to his face, "I-" he stuttered, looking away. Your eyes were tempting him, and he was desperately trying to keep his composure.
"Am I wrong?"
"You're drunk." He was so close you could feel his breath catch in his throat.
"But am. I. wrong?"
Unable to hold back any longer, the swordsman closed the gap between you, pushing his lips firmly against yours. Sparks of heat rushed through your body as you kissed him back, placing your hands on his chest as his came to rest on your hips.
The kiss started slow and sweet, almost cautious. You'd never seen Zoro treat anything as gently as he was treating you; it made your stomach flutter. You slid your hands up his chest, wrapping your arms around his neck. He responded by snaking his hands around your waist and pulling you closer. His movements became more desperate as he pushed your body against the wall of the alleyway. You moved your hands into his mossy hair, and he groaned, pulling you tight against him as if you were going to disappear the moment he let go. You smiled against him and bit his bottom lip playfully. He went rigid for a moment before breaking the kiss.
"Slow down there, princess. I don't want-" he stumbled to find the right words. "I didn't mean to-"
You looked up at him expectantly.
He stepped back. "Fuck. I'm sorry." He took a deep breath and another step back, "I'm sorry."
"You're missing a crucial difference, swordsman." You hummed, ruffling his hair.
"What do you mean?"
"I actually want you."
He stood for a moment, stunned by your words, letting them sink in.
"You…want me?"

The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien (1937)
In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort. Written for J.R.R. Tolkien’s own children, The Hobbit met with instant critical acclaim when it was first published in 1937. Now recognized as a timeless classic, this introduction to the hobbit Bilbo Baggins, the wizard Gandalf, Gollum, and the spectacular world of Middle-earth recounts of the adventures of a reluctant hero, a powerful and dangerous ring, and the cruel dragon Smaug the Magnificent.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan (2005-2009)
Percy Jackson is a good kid, but he can't seem to focus on his schoolwork or control his temper. And lately, being away at boarding school is only getting worse - Percy could have sworn his pre-algebra teacher turned into a monster and tried to kill him. When Percy's mom finds out, she knows it's time that he knew the truth about where he came from, and that he go to the one place he'll be safe.
She sends Percy to Camp Half Blood, a summer camp for demigods (on Long Island), where he learns that the father he never knew is Poseidon, God of the Sea. Soon a mystery unfolds and together with his friends—one a satyr and the other the demigod daughter of Athena - Percy sets out on a quest across the United States to reach the gates of the Underworld (located in a recording studio in Hollywood) and prevent a catastrophic war between the gods.
The Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien (1954-1955)
In a sleepy village in the Shire, a young hobbit is entrusted with an immense task. He must make a perilous journey across Middle-earth to the Cracks of Doom, there to destroy the Ruling Ring of Power - the only thing that prevents the Dark Lord's evil dominion.
The Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis (1950-1956)
Four adventurous siblings—Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy Pevensie— step through a wardrobe door and into the land of Narnia, a land frozen in eternal winter and enslaved by the power of the White Witch. But when almost all hope is lost, the return of the Great Lion, Aslan, signals a great change . . . and a great sacrifice.
The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery (1943)
The Little Prince is a classic tale of equal appeal to children and adults. On one level it is the story of an airman's discovery, in the desert, of a small boy from another planet - the Little Prince of the title - and his stories of intergalactic travel, while on the other hand it is a thought-provoking allegory of the human condition.
The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini (2002-2011, 2023)
When fifteen-year-old Eragon finds a polished blue stone in the forest, he thinks it is the lucky discovery of a poor farm boy. But when the stone brings a dragon hatchling, Eragon soon realizes he has stumbled upon a legacy nearly as old as the Empire itself.
Overnight his simple life is shattered, and, gifted with only an ancient sword, a loyal dragon, and sage advice from an old storyteller, Eragon is soon swept into a dangerous tapestry of magic, glory, and power. Now his choices could save--or destroy--the Empire.
Time Quintet by Madeleine L'Engle (1962-1989)
It was a dark and stormy night; Meg Murry, her small brother Charles Wallace, and her mother had come down to the kitchen for a midnight snack when they were upset by the arrival of a most disturbing stranger.
Wild nights are my glory, the unearthly stranger told them. I just got caught in a downdraft and blown off course. Let me sit down for a moment, and then I'll be on my way. Speaking of ways, by the way, there is such a thing as a tesseract.
Folk of the Air by Holly Black (2018-2020)
Of course I want to be like them. They're beautiful as blades forged in some divine fire. They will live forever.
And Cardan is even more beautiful than the rest. I hate him more than all the others. I hate him so much that sometimes when I look at him, I can hardly breathe.
Jude was seven years old when her parents were murdered and she and her two sisters were stolen away to live in the treacherous High Court of Faerie. Ten years later, Jude wants nothing more than to belong there, despite her mortality. But many of the fey despise humans. Especially Prince Cardan, the youngest and wickedest son of the High King.
To win a place at the Court, she must defy him--and face the consequences.
In doing so, she becomes embroiled in palace intrigues and deceptions, discovering her own capacity for bloodshed. But as civil war threatens to drown the Courts of Faerie in violence, Jude will need to risk her life in a dangerous alliance to save her sisters, and Faerie itself.
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V. E. Schwab (2020)
France, 1714: In a moment of desperation, a young woman named Adeline meets a dangerous stranger and makes a terrible mistake.
As she realizes the limitations of her Faustian bargain-being able to live forever, without being able to be remembered by anyone she sees- Addie chooses to flee her small village, as everything she once held dear is torn away.
But there are still dreams to be had, and a life to live, and she is determined to find excitement and satisfaction in the wide, beckoning world-even if she will be doomed to be alone forever.
Or not quite alone-as every year, on her birth-day, the alluring Luc comes to visit, checking to see if she is ready to give up her soul. Their darkly thrilling game stretches through the ages, seeing Addie witness history and fight to regain herself as she crosses oceans and tries on various lives.
It will be three hundred years before she stumbles into a hidden bookstore and discovers someone who can remember her name-and suddenly, everything changes again.
Circe by Madeline Miller (2018)
the house of Helios, god of the sun and mightiest of the Titans, a daughter is born. But Circe is a strange child—not obviously powerful like her father, nor viciously alluring like her mother. Turning to the world of mortals for companionship, she discovers that she does possess power—the power of witchcraft, which can transform rivals into monsters and menace the gods themselves.
Threatened, Zeus banishes her to a deserted island, where she hones her occult craft, tames wild beasts, and crosses paths with many of the most famous figures in all of mythology, including the Minotaur; Daedalus and his doomed son, Icarus; the murderous Medea; and, of course, wily Odysseus.
But there is danger, too, for a woman who stands alone, and Circe unwittingly draws the wrath of both men and gods, ultimately finding herself pitted against one of the most terrifying and vengeful of the Olympians. To protect what she loves most, Circe must summon all her strength and choose, once and for all, whether she belongs with the gods she is born from or the mortals she has come to love.

The Appropriate Use for Cauldrons
Sora and Kairi having breakfast at Caer Dallben, for the fanzine Two Sides: Volume 2.
The Chronicles of Prydain are a series I've loved for a very long time, and before that Disney's The Black Cauldron was my favorite childhood film. (Five-year-old firefly couldn't be bothered with princess movies, this one had a magic sword and a creepy skull monster raising the undead.)

Something a little more in the vein of D&D today, Fred Saberhagen’s Empire of the East trilogy — The Broken Lands (1968), The Black Mountains (1971) and Changeling Earth (1973). They concern a resistance by the West against the forces of the sorcerous, demon-sworn East. Despite its sword and sorcery feel, the series is post-apocalyptic, and there is a lot of tech that is recognizable by readers, but not by the protagonists. The first novel is mainly concerned with the retrieval of the “Elephant,” an atomic tank, by the West. The second chronicles their army’s push into the East, against the forces of Som the Dead, his bound demons and a giant mutant dog that uses healing technology to revive dead soldiers. That volume is probably my favorite, because Som is a creepy villain (and maybe inspiration for a death knight? The dog mutant sure looks like an owl bear on the cover).
The third novel sees the final conflict between East and West, and reveals the big twist. In our near future, nuclear war was triggered, but a failsafe, the super computer ARDNEH, stopped the destruction of the world by effectively neutralizing science and replacing it with magic. The nukes in flight changed into demons. Their chief, Orcus, was bound by the East, who then took over the world. To defeat the East, ARDNEH wants them to release Orcus so he can destroy the computer, and undo the Change, remaking the world once again, into a synthesis of science and magic. It’s very strange to explain, but the story is rip-roaring — Saberhagen was a hell of a writer. They’re also full of energy that was clearly an inspiration to D&D, Gamma World and a whole host of other early RPGs.
Check ‘em out — I read the single novels, but the single-volume collection — Empire of the East (1979) — apparently has substantial revisions by Saberhagen. I enjoyed the singles just fine, but the collection might be smoother.

“He's a diplomat who got dumped into the Norse wilderness and had to adapt. And he did! He was given a Quest and he stuck with it, despite not speaking the language! Learned Norse by listening and was pretty respectful of the people he found himself among despite having reason to feel superior. Wears eyeliner, looks great in black, kicks ass with a sword and is really nice to his horse.”
Robin Hood, Robin Hood: Men in Tights (1993) Portrayed by: Cary Elwes Defeated Opponents: - Jaskier [Joey Batey], The Witcher (2019-)
"I saw this movie when I was about 10, didn't understand most of the jokes but fell in love with Robin. I love a silly guy! (especially when he's this hot)"

For Ahmed Ibn Fahdlan:
“i havent seen the movie in over a decade but theres a scene burned into my mind forever where all the vikings are making fun of his horse for being so small (as his is an arabian and theirs are warhorses) and he proceeds to absolutely whip ass on an impromptu show jumping course to display its agility and i think thats pretty sexy of him”
For Robin Hood:

The “Illustrated Fantasy Book Guide” is a magazine-format book (or mook) released in 1989 by the publisher of ファミコン必勝本 “Famicon Winning Book”, an NES gaming magazine. The mook lists 37 works of fantasy originally written in English except for “Ficciones” by Borges. The editors of “Famicon Winning Book” were fond of the Wizardry port to the NES, which is my explanation for their interest in this stuff. In any case, they created the best Appendix N so to speak of fantasy translated into Japanese that I have yet found. The Japanese titles are provided below to aid the online searches of would-be buyers.
