So it's a first date with the Enforcers. Are they picking their date up or meeting them at the location? What's their go-to standard first date plans [dinner & movie? Walk in the park? Arcade? Baseball game?] Do they attempt contact like holding hands & kisses goodnight, or do they let their date initiate that?

Finn does the "fake yawn to drape his arm over dates shoulder" thing. You can't convince me otherwise.

Ratso picks them up, with flowers because he's a gentleman, knocks on their door and walks them to the car and everything. His go to first date is dinner and a walk in the park so he can talk to them, hear about their interests. He loves to just sit there and let his date talk and talk and talk and just absorb it all in. He doesn't initiate anything more serious than handholding on a first date because his mother drilled into him to be a gentleman, but he does like taking dates to more windy parts of San Francisco so he can take off his jacket and wrap it around their shoulders. He will kiss them on their doorstep if he's feeling it, and even if he's not he always calls them back and sends them more flowers or chocolates.

*snort* Finn so would. He would 😂 Finn will pick them up but wait in the car and lay on the horn like an asshole lmao although he does make up for it by kissing them on the cheek as soon as they're in the car. Finn will do drinks then dancing then dinner then a walk, either through a park or around the city. His date nights are long, out the door by seven and not getting home till midnight. Finn will spend hours at any location, so its kind of up to the date to drag him out of the bar or off the dance floor to not miss their dinner reservations. He loses track of time, but he's super affectionate even on a first date, his hands tend to wander 😳 Finn gets handsy on a first date, so its up to the date if they're into that he's the type of guy to fuck in a city park on the first date but he does always call them back, he's not a hit it and quit it.

Chow is a bit more nervous about dates, it takes him a bit to loosen up around someone, but once he's relaxed he's a ton of fun. Drinks at a bar are his go to, but if his date is also into gaming they'll go to the arcade and talk shit at eachother the entire time playing Street Fighter or Dance Dance Revolution. He does really enjoy bowling but he thinks its a cheesy date idea so he doesn't bring it up unless his date wants to go. He'll also go mini golfing and get drunk and flirt the entire time. How touchy Chow is depends on how comfortable he is with his date, if they hit it off immediately he's gonna wrap and arm around their waist and kiss them and do the 'playfully teasing/bullying' thing, but if he's not feeling it then he's very reserved. He always brings up the fact that he rides a motorcycle, and they always want a ride, so he always picks them up. You cannot convince me Chow doesn't know how to ride a motorcycle

Now this is assuming they're going on a date with a woman, if they're gay this all goes completely out the window.

Since Clark is from the midwest, do you guys think he's ever brought puppy chow to the watchtower as a gift during the holidays or snack for parties or something, and just thoroughly confused 90% of his friends?

I mean, just picture Batman - Bruce Wayne, ultra-wealthy nepo baby from New Jersey raised by a British man - being presented with a bag of something called puppy chow by an excited and smiling Superman, and just... Having no idea how to respond.

Does he think Superman is an alien who is new to Earth, and has somehow confused animal food with human food? Or if he does know who Clark is, does he think this is some kind of joke; it's not his usual approach, but if Bruce had pissed him off lately I could see Batman being paranoid and thinking Clark is trying to use the alien excuse as a way to make him eat dog food as some kind of punishment.

Even most of the human born metas would probably be a little bit confused, because it very much is a Midwestern thing, and the comics are constantly moving the different cities around, so as far as I am aware, Clark Kent is the only superhero guaranteed to have grown up in the Midwest.

Every day, Bug gets a bowl of fresh foods, alongside the dry chow and whole grain mixes she has free access to during waking hours. Her bowls contents often include fruits like blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, apples, oranges, bananas, tomatoes, various melons, and pomegranates, and we try new fruits when we can. The bowls also contain veggies like chopped eggplant, sweet potato, pumpkin, squashes, peas, cucumber, chickpeas, frozen or fresh corn, carrots, celery, and occasionally cooked regular potato. There's also other stuff- cooked pasta or rice, raw shrimp or fish, canned tuna, cooked poultry or venison, scrambled or hard boiled eggs, cooked beans, and sometimes leftover "people" food she can have in small quantity, like a veggie straw or a cracker or something. She does get bird treats, too, but they're fatty so that's limited.

She doesn't eat everything every day (sometimes she does sometimes she doesn't), so whatever she doesn't eat goes to the other birds in the evening when I close them up. She sometimes gets a few bites of our dinner if it's bird-safe, and we do a lot of bird safe cooking so we don't waste leftovers much. We'll also, weather permitting, go outside for a little bit and forage for grass and whatever else she wants to eat (leaves, bugs, flowers etc). (Which is where I'm writing this from because I'm bored as hell outside in the cold right now but she's loving it)

With all of that open to her daily, she still chooses to eat mostly her dry chow. My birds have all been on Belstra chow for years now, and they all seem to genuinely enjoy eating it, compared to some of the others I've tried that felt more like they would eat it if they HAD to, but they didn't enjoy the process. I'm glad to see that it compares even when there are other, seemingly more tasty, options. On top of that, my avian vet highly approved of it as well when we were searching around. So if you're keeping fowl and you have the ability to give this brand a try, they've got a bunch of different feeds, and all of them look great. You can usually ask your local mill about ordering, or becoming a retailer if your birds like it. If nothing else, as far as I've been able to tell, it gets you out from under Purina's crappy boot.

Thank you to Deb Chow for Obi-Wan saying "Quinlan was here?" like that so I could then tumble down into the hole of collecting every single solitary piece of canon or legends material involving them and then turn to writing a lot of fic. That was the only way I could respond to Obi-Wan's eyes lightning up as he traced over the "only when the eyes are closed can you truly see" inscription. Like, how was I supposed to be normal about that? Anyways. THOSE GUYS.
