MOVIE RECAP: THE BIG HIT (1998) [SPOILER ALERT]
One of the anticipiting movie need to watch! This films explore the life of a contract serial killer with a group of a gang and mob boss who's also in the middle of crisis with himself Melvin Smiley l(Mark Walhberg) and his relationship to Pam (Christina Applegate) and her demanding in-laws.
Melvin Smiley, an expert gun and hand to hand combat life changed when he met/kidnapped Keiko Nishi (China Chow) which so sweet and pure of heart.
What I learn from this film, is to do what makes you what is right. Don't be so hard to yourself and don't please others and someone to like you in every chances for what you can bring and share to others. Prioritize and love yourself, no matter what.

One could say this one has a lazy design, but to be fair... I think he's really cool 🤷♀️ He does look like someone who would want (and be able) to slap the entire pantheon just because the soup was too salty, and I love it.
I'm yet to watch the movie, because I've just discovered it and since I don't live anywhere near China, it might be hard for me to find on websites that do not advertise drugs and hot MILFs in my area, but I think it might be worth the search 😬
Also let's pretend this has nothing to do with his human form being smokin' hot

Hong Kong: Chinese control and the future of protest, October 18, 2024
In Hong Kong, protests have fallen silent. The Chinese state is more restrictive than ever. Back in 2019, artists were among those who took to the streets to demonstrate against the curtailing of basic rights. How are they doing, five years on? Unlike many of his contemporaries, multimedia artist Samson Young chose to remain in Hong Kong rather than going into exile. Young plays with codes and hidden references in his complex art installations. Filmmaker Kiwi Chow also stayed. He sold the rights to an internationally acclaimed documentary about the 2019 protest movement to a friend outside the country. Others felt they could no longer stay in Hong Kong, like Kacey Wong, who now lives and works in Taiwan. Despite their different paths, these artists all ask themselves the same question: Will Hong Kong ever be as free as it was before the protests, or will Beijing’s grip get even tighter? Chill new r&b tune from Leah Dou 竇靖童, co-written / featuring 狮子侠 Lionman. Love her soft vocals, those soft synth chords and the general jazzy feel. Excellent track! =D
Composer: Leah Dou Lyricist/Arranger/Producer: Leah Dou, Lionman
MV credits and lyrics back at YT. This single came out in March, and she has an even newer ballad released a few days ago. Good to see her recording again, her previous release was a 2020 single. =D

Link to a tweet by Eileen Cheng-yin Chow, chowleen on twitter.
Sharing one of my favorite poems since childhood. By the 12th century warrior poet Xin Qiji 辛棄疾, who was sidelined during peacetime, demoted, drifting through a decade of minor posts in remote lands. Poetry, then, is that which is left unsaid. “My, what a cool and lovely autumn.”
In youth I knew nothing of the taste of sorrow I liked to climb high towers, I liked to climb high towers To conjure up a bit of sorrow to make new verse.
Now I know only too well the taste of sorrow. I begin to speak yet pause, I begin to speak yet pause And say instead, "My, what a cool and lovely autumn."
Composed by Xin Qiji (1140-1207) translated by Eileen Cheng-yin Chow.
