I didn't get him (and I need to save my keys for Silver's birthday, sob) so I looked up his groovy, and I'm not over how incredibly dramatic and epic and cool it looks in direct contrast to the absolutely ridiculous context. just look at that dynamic action and his majestic sparkling tears and keep in mind that this is pretty much right after a bunch of characters have been dance battling for his soul.

and then even the actual moment of the groovy is just like

this is NOT a negative in the slightest, I love it all, this truly was an incredible update in so many ways

I just saw one of your fave games is What remains of Edith Finch and I’m so happy! I feel like its a lesser known game but i loved playing through it. I’m so happy to know more than just my small friend group know about this game!

Sorry this isn’t a question. Also want to say that you’re art is amazing and the development of the designs is so interesting to see. Also the way you draw intimate scenes have so much emotion to them. I love the Aj and rarity kissing comic so much, you can just feel their love for each other ;w;

I highly, highly, highly recommend What Remains of Edith Finch to anyone interested in narrative game experiences/"walking simulators." It's one of those games that was handcrafted with nothing but love. Every room you explore is just... real. The way the light flows in and makes the colors of the living room, the kitchen, the bedrooms glow. Playing the game is like walking through your childhood home as an adult and seeing how the dust clings to everything you once touched. Also genius-level gameplay mechanics, ones that can make you completely empathetic with the character you're embodying or feel completely complacent in their tragedy. It's really not fair to call it a walking simulator because it's so much more and so much smarter than that.Everyone talks about the fish one.

The theme of death and memory and storytelling and the burden of invisible trauma and self-fulfilling prophecies is so affecting too. The ending made me cry.

Hmm, Thought

In Canon, Gideon and Mabel "date" each other for a bit until the twins discover that Gideon is an evil chaos junkie, right?

In the Werewolf Gene AU, Gideon is responsible for the town being afraid of the Pines family (and McGucket by extension), so the twins would already be aware that at least something is off about him. Regardless, he's the nicest person to the twins at the time, and they don't have many friends, so it'd be easier for him to come up with some tale about how things just got "out of hand" when he and Stan were competing for attention and convince them that he isn't as bad as Stan is making him out to be.

Things start off pretty tame; Gideon promises to be the twins' friend as long as they don't tell Stan that they're spending time together (because even a cocky, manipulative creature like Gideon knows how dangerous Stan can be *cough* mask! *cough*). Neither of them question it and risk sneaking out to play with their new friend, but eventually get caught and promptly punished for (what Stan sees) the blatant disregard of their uncle's feelings about Gideon.

The group argues, Fidds gets involved and tells Stan to go take time to cool off (ignoring Stan's claims that everyone is now against him) before explaining to the twins that Gideon isn't "Someone worth risking their lives for".

Dipper questions what that means while Mabel nods and decides she should wait for Stan to calm down so they can apologize. After about an hour they seek Stan out, expecting to find him sulking or snapping at Fidds for the interference.

It soon becomes increasingly clear that they've made a mistake when they find Stan muzzled and chained to a wall with Fidds sobbing and unable to look at anything but the large needle in his hands.

((Regarding Hank's house, I thought I noticed this little handprint on his clock a while back. I had to go back and make sure I wasn't imagining it, but here it is.

I edited the image to make it easer to see.

And for my angsty Hank fic, I wanted to make it very noticeable. I badly traced the outline with my mouse and edited it again.

Just a little detail that I'm not sure you can really see without a free cam, and even then it's up so high that it'd be pretty hard to see. Just to show that this isn't something I added or just the texture looking like handprints, here is the raw texture for mapping the reflections off of this particular clock. Obviously, I have added in the obnoxious red circles to make the prints more understandable.
