Weirdly gender-affirming thing: I've started getting decent pectoral muscle growth, enough that I can tell the difference between where the muscle is and where my boobs are. I'm, er, fairly large-chested, so they always hid anything there. My torso has always been either neutral or a source of dysphoria before. But now I have, like... Dude-tits, for lack of a better word. Under the other ones. This is... Strange, and new, but I like it. I'm even more set on eventual top surgery now, finding out where my gender journey goes with that weight gone.

that RULES!! once i started getting more defined pecs it made me so happy, it's awesome to see where that is on the chest and where the breast tissue begins. it's neat! i hope you're able to continue to get your body in a shape that makes you feel more like yourself, and that the road toward top surgery isn't too long or difficult! we're glad to have heard from you, take care, stay safe! good luck!

I'm nonbinary and afab, considering top surgery but there's something that keeps bothering me and I wonder if it's happened to anyone else? When I was a kid, I was really excited about puberty. I desperately wanted to finally look like 'a woman''. I was especially happy that my breasts started growing but like... now years later I don't like them anymore, or at least not all the time. I see lots of people saying they *always* hated their chest, but that was not the case for me, or at least I wasn't 100% aware because I was dealing with other body image issues. Anyone relate? I'm a strong believer that people can genuinely be okay with X gender/presentation at one point in their lives and not in another because people change, but I'm really needing some validation now that I'm considering such a permanent change.

Ok y’all, I need you to drop links for free binder services. It’s November which means that parents won’t think it’s odd for their children to request that they not inspect packages. What they don’t tell you about being trans that you figure out real quick on your own-

-people who love you are going to misgender you consistently and not make an effort to change because “they’ve known you the other way so long”

-your coworkers are only going to forget about your “new” pronouns and not make an effort to use the correct ones since you don’t see them super often

-knowing that no matter what I’m pretty much always perceived as a women by strangers

-losing respect for people who you rly thought were better than that

-achieving euphoria or even just ~meh~ about my physical appearance requires things that cause me pain (binder, tape etc)

-starting a medical journey has been a godsend and it’s barely over a week now but I consistently feel ~not sad~ for the first time since I can remember

-I caught myself dancing in front of a mirror and being happy while not even acknowledging the fact that my body brings a lot of sadness

-I feel like a real human for the first time ever and I’m so so so much happier 😊

-chosen/found family literally saving my life solely by creating visibility in my life

-I’m on a journey that is bringing me so much joy and I’ve never felt more content and connected with myself. I have so much more of an understanding of who I am and I think it’s finally time to shape that person into me. I’m so excited to share my joy with the world 💞🏳️‍⚧️💞

(And measure yourself, ofc) You can get it sent literally anywhere! So for anyone outside of the good ol' USA can get one too! You don't have to get it shipped to your home, which is good for those not out to their family yet! Okay, pretty sure that's all. y’all my top surgery consult HAPPENED! And it was GREAT!!! Now just waiting on the scheduler to get booked for a surgery date. In the meantime here’s a doodle I forgot about in my drafts folder of me wearing this bangin hoodie I got from JustSaySK’s mutual aid fundraiser for community members’ top surgery costs. I’m extremely lucky to live in a place where gender affirming care is fully covered by my health insurance. This is how it should be everywhere!! But since it’s not, we gotta keep supporting each other financially when we can (and keep fighting like hell to change this gd system). Bonus when we also get to wear a soft and perfect hoodie that makes transphobes uncomfy when they figure out what it is 😎
