okay so I've seen this work a lot and I want to know how well it will go for me.

If this gets to 1,000 notes I will finish writing the second book in the series I'm working on.

If this gets to 5,000 notes I will ask my parents for a chest binder.

Today i can say I am nonbinary (demigirl). 😊 My pronouns are she/they.

Today i got something special - a chest binder. My experience with gender i got assigned at birth was always like "yea, cool, meh ok" Back in the day i wanted to be very feminine, probably because i saw a lot of super feminine people around me and i wanted to be like that too but couldn't see myself as such. In the end, i just ignored how i felt about my gender, like ok if I'm woman so be it. Butttttttt i got periods of time when i felt genderless or wished i was a cloud or a forest or something like that. Last year i got a thought that maybe i am nonbinary. My fiancée helped me a lot to research it and soon enough we found Demigirl (where a person sometimes is feminine expressing but other times genderless). And this type of nonbinary seems to be the closest to how i feel. 😊 When I am feeling feminine I use she/her pronouns and look feminine etc. But when I'm feel genderless, I want to use they/them and not show off a gender expression. So my chest binder is for those days I'm feeling genderless.

some days waking up without a binder hits so much harder and it’s all I think about

some days the idea of a binder is euphoria in itself and my imagination is running wild imagining how amazing it would feel to put it on for the first time

to run my hands down my flat chest and wear a shirt, to go out in public

sometimes I wonder if it would help my crippling social anxiety

I wonder if one of the reasons I’m so anxious is that when I see people they aren’t seeing me back because while this physical weight sits on my chest I’m less me than I could be

hey, fellow trans masc folks/anyone who binds their chest! I've known I'm trans for over three years now and have had chest dysphoria the whole time but I only now am able to buy something without my parents knowing (they're only partitally supportive)

my main hestitations come from my medical/neurological issues so here's the list:

autism: the pressure from binders is honestly calming but tags and seams are bad, and potential irritation with tape would be a problem

asthma: it's not too bad rn but breathing is slightly important

POTS: I'm heat sensitive and also will get dizzy at standing up

australian: not a medical issue but causes a lot of issues, such as shipping

so if anyone knows a good autism friendly preferably aussie binder/tape brand, or any tips for doing either, that would be rly appreciated :)

Aoi's chest binder

Does anyone know what chest binder Aoi uses? She canonically has a big chest yet her chest binder makes her look so flat. The gender envy I feel. Plus she also does performances and high activity in her binder. I genuinely need to know what binder brand she uses. I NEED that binder. She doesn't seem to have any discomfort either.

Maybe she uses trans tape. I kinda doubt it though since trans tape doesn't bind that much for larger chest.
