we need to have a term for when dc comics introduces a morally ambiguous/complex (or even heroic) woc and she gets turned into an irredeemably evil moustache twirling parody of herself. (Bonus round: already villainous woc loses any humanising or positive traits to become a irredeemable monster without any nuance)

this can be contrasted to the treatment of white woman villains who tend to become more anti heroic/heroic over time and are given more positive traits. (E.g. catwoman (I know she’s now Latina but dc seemingly forgot and it became canon after her redemption), Harley Quinn, poison ivy, etc).

So the Siren horror drawing surpassed 1000 notes recently and like...I'm still in shock at how popular that doodle is??

I wanted to draw a little something to say thanks cuz it genuinely boggles my mind that doodle got so popular, but at the same time, I'm so happy Horror sans in general is appreciated by the Undertale fandom! He's my fav! Gray character is supposed to be you/your self insert, I'm not good at drawing characters with the Y/N on their face cuz I always prefer eyes to make expressions

Anyway thank you all so much for the love on that doodle!! Have Horror siren being a touchy smug bastard (not pictured, Horror tugging your cheek harder and laughing when you swat at his arm like an angry cat)

You won't believe that I'm being honest about where I'm coming from with my perspective, but genuinely as a fan of surrealist fantasy and nothing else, I can't vibe that well with the Ever After High animal characters because they are just too human.

What do you mean, the White Rabbit is just a pink girl in a headband? You're telling me the Cheshire Cat has a tail only in one special where she's like...more? Monster High did animal heads and tails and claws in the service of horror aesthetics, so why couldn't EAH be on that level in the service of fantasy?

Wunderland Character sheet-- Sans

Wunderland is my idea (based on Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carrol)

I don't know, I was thinking "what if everyone in the Underground was crazy?" and I realized that Frisk would have an experience very similar to Alice when she fell down the rabbit hole. With Sans' smile and other quirks, the role of Cheshire Cat was meant for him. And of course he would troll the whole underground by insisting he's a cat, and no one would know if he was joking or really meant it.

Papyrus is next as the Mad Hatter, and I know what Alphys is, but I have little clue as to what Undertale characters go with which Wonderland ones. Mettaton in particular is a mystery to me.

-The clever Lord of Pride! (AU).

-Also known as the Morning Star Demon, he's a bit of a wild card among demons.

-Mischievous and cheerful, he operates mainly in Snowdin and Waterfall, where he offers predictions and wishes in exchange for valuable goods, ranging from souls to beloved memories or mere flowers. Only he decides the price to pay, and it's unknown if his mood has to do with it

-The constellation around his head is that of Perseus, his favorite star being Algol (Demon Star), which he doesn't allow anyone to touch.

-His scarf is made of clouds. Extensible, he sometimes uses it to rest or make spectacular entrances. His top is made of feathers that can change into sharp blades that he controls as he pleases.

-It's said that every time a star dies in the mortal realm, he's the one who retrieves it and places it in the sky of Waterfall.

-He has a great fascination for Humans, whose dreams and futile ambitions he marvels at. No doubt he'd be intrigued by the fallen human whose fate and motives remain uncertain.

-To be his friend and to defeat him, you'll have to give it your all.

Really funny how the current complaint about Dc is how they are turning all their female villains into anti heroes when really they are turning all their white(passing) villains into antiheroes. For their woc and particularly asian women it is definitely not the case.

Poison Ivy is getting redeemed by the power of love and environmentalism. Meanwhile, Talia Al Ghul who was raised in an environmentalist cult and defined by her love has spent the last two decades being transformed into an unrepentant and unsympathetic villain.
