You won't believe that I'm being honest about where I'm coming from with my perspective, but genuinely as a fan of surrealist fantasy and nothing else, I can't vibe that well with the Ever After High animal characters because they are just too human.
What do you mean, the White Rabbit is just a pink girl in a headband? You're telling me the Cheshire Cat has a tail only in one special where she's like...more? Monster High did animal heads and tails and claws in the service of horror aesthetics, so why couldn't EAH be on that level in the service of fantasy?
