This could be a bit of a coincidence but do you think Rook's interest of the Leech twins could be based on Chef Louis from The Little Mermaid?

He is a character with a French accent and loves fish to a unhealthy extent to explain him briefly.

I think it’s probably just coincidence??? If it was just sea creatures he was fascinated with, then maybe there would he a stronger argument for it, but Rook enjoys observing animals of all kinds. Must be in his nature as a huntsman 😂

Interestingly though, “les poissons” (literally “the fish”) looks similar to “le poison” (“the poison”), and we all know Rook’s fixated on Roi du Poison (Vil)!

After I stumbled across disneydork1928's Bsky account, I came across three of the four doodle dump posts she has done of the Hazbin Hotel characters she has casted in her AU of the Little/Demon Mermaid/Merman. Giving me the idea and opportunity to make three more recast collages of her AU, since I have done four others before making these ones.

I also recommend that you check out her Twitter (#tlm_hhau), Instagram and Bsky accounts to see the beautiful artwork she has done of it, as well as drawing Hellverse characters as merpeople. I can see the heart she and her friends have put into them and I'm hoping that she'll find time to post other videos of it. She has also posted one of her artwork pieces on Deviantart, as musicmermaid, and I'm hoping that she'll add more of her talented works there in the future.

Now that we got that out of the way, lets talk about her recast choices in these three collages:

*Henroin as King Triton, with Angel cast as Ariel I can see why disneydork1928 decided this. Its a logical choice and Angel Dust's father is said to be very hard on him, along with the YouTube video hinting that dear old dad gave Angel a terrible beating after learning that his son had fallen for the land demon he saved.

*Arackniss as Sebastian, that was the impression I got in the YouTube video and a few of disneydork1928's artwork posts on both Twitter and Bsky. Along with Niss being said to be hard on his younger brother and mostly sides with their father.

*Cherri Bomb as Scuttle, after I thought about it I began to see why disneydork1928 went in that direction. Cherri is Angel's best friend and confidante with things he is unable to share with others, it also helps that the 2023 remake of the Disney film genderbend Scuttle into a female.

*Alastor as Grimsby, with Husk as Eric I can see where disneydork1928 was going with this.

*Niffty as Carlotta, a logical choice in casting if you ask me.

*Sir Pentious as Chef Louis, not a 100% sure why but maybe it was her way to include Pen in the AU. Or it might have something to do with Niss's role in the AU.

*Vox and Velvette as Flotsam and Jetsam, Vox's merman form is of an electric eel while Vel's is of a jellyfish theme. With Valentino as Ursula, it makes sense to have his fellow Vees as the Sea Witch's eels, as that was the impression I got from the YouTube video.

*Chazwick Thurman as Glut the Shark, one of her Twitter artwork posts was of Chaz flirting with merman Angel, who has his limits about certain guys he wasn't interested in and I can see why she went with Chaz. It allows both shows to be featured in the AU's story plot, and he is a notable shark demon in the franchise.

I wasn't a 100% sure of the TLM character Molly serves as, with me feeling that she is somewhere between Ariel's sisters or possible Flounder, just as I have asked myself weather or not Fat Nuggets has been cast as either Flounder or Max in it. I feel bad for leaving Molly out, and one of the reasons I feel that she is somewhere in the direction of Flounder is because of the way she was presented in the YouTube video. Joining Arackniss as they follow Angel to Val's lair, and how one of disneydork1928's artwork Twitter posts has Molly standing up for Angel when he was being scolded by their father and big brother. Another artwork piece has Molly standing beside Arackniss, after learning what will become of their brother if he doesn't get kissed by Husk in three days, while Vox and Vel are creeping up behind the two siblings.
