have been preparing myself all last night and today for my loki season 2 premiere viewing. in that very excited but very anxious way, because this god damn show and character hyperfixation is one of screaming, stimming, punching myself and because i know everyone is going to be “discovering” rafael casal, and because marvel - fucking marvel (i trust tom, i don’t trust them) is going to queerbait me for the thousandth time, despite confirming loki’s sexuality and gender - because that is the most they ever can and will do. they’ll forcefeed me this selfcest while teasing and taunting me because i’m fucking stupid and tired and sick and desperate and hopeful and i’ll fall for it again and again and i’ll keep watching cause it’s such a good fucking show with amazing characters and loki has so much depth and the score fucks and the cinematography is beautiful and the whole thing is so comically me and i’m not ready for the brainrot 🫠

The note made Safrona crack a wry smile, her fingers toying with the imbued Chatterstone on the table inhabiting an empty room. It had collected many names over the years for the Courier, some of who may have considered themselves a friend.

"Do I really?" she chuckled to herself, both perhaps in answer to the nameless demander and herself. It was hard for her to say any one she had met in a professional sense could be considered a friend. Personal connection required time, knowing, trust. And of course there were a few she could count on her hands that had managed those factors. But for most, very little was built upon brief introduction and purposeful acquisition. And this was what the Courier had been mostly built upon. Maybe for a time, this was all she felt was required. Friendship and other relations were often complicating, after all.

But this little note in all its optimistic urging had called her specifically by name. She certainly had the time now, and the Sojourn awaited company when she deemed it ready. A name could become many things depending on who's lips spoke it. But she could not deny that there was some spark of satisfaction in the thought of being known. Didn't every soul want to be somewhere? Somewhere, where everyone knew their name?

"We'll see," Safrona told herself, and by extension a little note of anonymity, and a room of empty chairs and empty tables.

No one could get into contact with Constantine. 

Now usually that wasn’t that big of a deal, the man constantly disappeared for a few days at a time doing something or other, but he’d been completely silent and unseen for months. Usually he’ll at least answer a call to tell them to fuck off or something. 

And they really need his expertise and are getting incredibly worried for their grumpy team member. Yes he’s an asshole, but he’s their asshole, y’know? And he has a habit of getting into Situations (sure he also usually gets out of them, but what if he didn’t this time?!) 

So they’re desperate. Kind of really desperate. Desperate enough to use the summoning sigil they found on his fridge. They’d checked it, multiple times, and it should summon the hellblazer. 

“You’re not Constantine.” . 

The white-haired teen in the circle yawned, stretching and blinking at them blandly with familiar blue eyes before sighing. “Actually I am,” he stuffed his hands into his hoodie as he looked down at the summoning circle. “Well, technically just one of the many Laughing Magicians currently in the Realms.” 

He gave a grin, looking more amused than annoyed. “Pretty much every one of us is in the Realms right now for family reunion lol. (Did he just say lol out loud??) So like, you’re gonna have to specify which of us you’re tryin’ to summon. Honestly perfect timing for me thanks, the fruitloop keeps flirting with John and it’s horrific so.”

she wouldnt be a beater tho since she doesnt have the physique for it, and i was kinda torn on whether she'd be a chaser or a seeker, but i went with seeker in the end since celeste is competitive af, and being a seeker is the most brag-worthy position LMAO (plus, i just like the idea of her teammates calling her their golden snitch, since she looks like a golden blur when she chases after it 🥰 and seb 1000% gets a heart attack whenever he watches her play and sees all the crazy acrobatic shit she does on her broom😇) also lewis is there too. and i like to imagine he has NO idea whats going on and doesnt care to learn LMFAO
