The disappointment of going onto the selfship tag, seeing a person selfship with a few characters you know, and get excited cuz of that. Only to go to their profile, ( to see if they're into more stuff you know, ) and then seeing "proship DNI" in their bio.

I honestly don't even know what's going on anymore in this fandom

I mean - I wanna reblog art from artists in the Osmosis Jones on here and Twitter, but there's so much drama going on and I don't even understand the entire situation.

I mean, for example on Twitter, I went to check out someone's art since it looked AMAZING. And once I read their bio it said "DNI- pro-ship" (which that I understand 100%) but also "if you follow/support kharsagii". And I was confused but obviously I respected that and didn't interact

But from what I've seen and interacted with Khar, they seem so nice. So I'm just really confused? I mean all my interactions have been NOTHING but friendly. But apparently there's something going on and I'm just completely confused

Now, let me say this, from what I understand (and it's not much) I do fully and 100% support Kharsagii. I just wish that we didn't have drama or separations like this in fandoms - since when were people considered bad for liking an artist?? It seems like every fandom I'm in there is SOMETHING happening and I'm so tired of it. Why am I labeled bad either way if I'm on a side? Why do there have to be sides??

This is just a rant and I'm not wanting arguments or anything, but this is just my stance on what's happening.

I just miss when people would post art in fandoms and get along and compliment each other instead of being at each other's throats.

Any other trans guys feel incredibly invalidated by 'cis men dni' types of people? Like what,,,,what makes me the exception? What makes you comfortable with a trans man but not a cis man? Is it the inherent femininity of being born that way? Do you not see us as real men? If a trans man is 10+ years in his transition and looks just like a cis man, will you feel uncomfortable with him somehow until he discloses this very private part of himself? And since its usually sapphics with this dni: does that change if its a gay cis man? Does being a gay man make him less threatening all of a sudden? Or does being cis just outweigh that entirely.

Your inclusively is a sham and by excluding cis men but not trans men, you make it clear that you don't view us as real men, whether you know it or not.

Going through a new followers bio only to find they have "proship dni" in there baffles me every single time, 'cause you just know if the roles had been reversed, and I followed them without checking that, they would've lost their fucking shit on me 🙄

I wish people who are so strict/irked about something, to the point of having a DNF/DNI about it in their bios/carrds, kept true to their own boundaries and avoided interacting with accounts corresponding to said DNF/DNI, especially when it's in plain sight in the first words of their bio. And not cross those boundaries only when it's convenient (to make use of their content).

It would be a sign of maturity, you know.

i think something about ppl reblogging ai art without noticing it also comes down to how we should already be making sure its not reposted or stolen art. i know thats how a LOT of aesthetic blogs are run, but with photos too, i get not glancing twice if it seems to be official/stock/brand imagery or some old timey painting, but you should always in the first place be making sure any art you rb is uploaded by the creator, or if not, sourced properly
