Little head canon that when Jason was in Talia's care he helped take care of Damien, and he'd read to him but he didn't know what books would be best for a kid at Damien's age and intelligence so he just starts reading his high school favorites like 1984, The Outsiders and The Jungle.

Idk, I just feel like their relationship is a little slept on. They're both cynics, manipulated (and frankly abused) by Talia with a violent streak. It is hella interesting to think about the shit they'd get up to.
