i guess it's a canon event, no one notices how valuable someone or something is until it's taken away. so, that moment when he brushed past you, where you were alone. where your friends weren't there with you. where finally saw that beauty again. where he finally saw you.

swiftly turning around, back in his steps. catching up to you, gripping you by the shoulder. "[name], wait. can you let me stay? i'm ready now."

it's a tedious process trying to get a clear message from itoshi rin. you consider yourself quite lucky to even have him looking in your way. what wasn't lucky was the situation you ended up in.

countless nights of texting back and forth. late night calls where you'd both get into class extremely tired. all that yet, he fails to even talk to you in person. (he refuses to talk to you in front of others.) as if you're practically a hassle to him.

you were bamboozled. who just does that? days without talking slowly became weeks."hey um rin-" when you were finally able to approach him, a huge frown was painted on your face. a cold shoulder straight at you.

he apparently didn't have the patience for you i guess. you were a little bolder this time. aggressively tapping him on the shoulder, "listen i don't understand what your problem is!"

the itoshi turned around to look at you, those teal orbs coldly staring at you. before he could say a single thing, you decided to spit out the most bile and bitter words he's ever heard from someone he loves so dearly. (clearly he didnt love u/show it enough dafuq)

"just because you're desperately searching for the love your brother never gave you — doesn't mean you can just play others! especially a friend! what the hell even were we!? you're running around with your heart on your sleeve like you've never been loved. even though i HAVE been doing so!"

his friends gasped, whistled, any annoying crowd noises, you name it. at that moment realization hit him, his eyes were heavy. lips sliding out in a pathetic tone,

"wait what do you mean by were-"

reo mikage knew from the beginning whatever happens will be unsalvageable. the status difference — yeah, his parents would never agree.

he himself was slightly caught by surprise. to be fair his type was someone older — more mature i guess. he never expected himself to fall for someone the same age... (bro ur bound to dafuq)

in response to that, he decided to be more than friends with you. terrible choice.

you unfortunately, was and still slightly is naive is heck. you'd tell your friends a few things about him (not really friends btw bro pls..) they'd constantly make you think and jump to conclusions.

shidou ryusei mmm. he's something. the young, tan blonde is quite an exquisite character. he may be violent, but don't let that misinterpret him.

he's openly friendly with you. he's deathly obsessed! his eccentric personality perfectly collided with yours. (the way your bodies collided too ig) your friends however... didn't really appreciate him.

they thought he was tugging you away from them — to be fair he is a tad bit possessive over some people or things... (he really doesn't want to become nothing.) so when you asked him to stop seeing each other as you two were only just 'friends' his first initial instinct was to reject that offer and y'know. keep you as his.

problem was — you were never really his. well yea you were but you two never decided to get into a relationship because of outside influence.

that night, shidou found himself as actually nothing now. he was in tears, odd for this man. it hurt him horrendously. you made an empty promise that you two can still be friends.

you two never talked, contacted, etc etc after. shidou was never embarrassed of how comfortable and freaky he got with you. still remembering the sweet memories of how you two got intimate at times.

sometimes, he'd stare at you in class. (sometimes? bro naur he's always staring pls) he knew he could never truly move on. crazy enough, i think shidou's pretty loyal.

Like a bit enemies to lovers type of troupe, start of reader is like really annoying to ratio always bothering him where ever he goes no what time or day they still can find him in a blink of an eye, ratio thinks they're an idiot and a total air head but in reality reader is actually very smart they just acted dumb to get under ratio's skin (reader can be a member of the guild or co workers or even roomates hehe whichever you prefer) one day ratio finds reader in herta's space station badly injured and passed out but quickly ratio catches them and went to the station infirmary, after a while reader woke up in a room they never seen before it looks luxurious and expensive they look a bit confused until they heard a familiar voice next to them, and it's ratio usual scolding asking them what happened and ofc reader explains reader got attacked by some monster I forgot what they're called (reader is lying btw they just wanted ratio's attention, but they did injured themselves just to act like they were telling the truth) ratio knows it all ofc he's not stupid. You were the most infuriating to Dr. Ratio. He couldn’t stand you, whatsoever. The most simplest of questions, you’d manage to get them wrong. ‘How could someone get such an easy question, wrong?!’ He would always ponder to himself. You were the devil on his left shoulder, constantly annoying him.

Ratio was a man you couldn’t just so easily forget. Aside from the fact he was your roommate, something about him was so captivating to you. You craved his attention, being a demon made it much more easier. You constantly poked at him, like a rock in his shoe.

“Ratio!” Your ebullient call of his name went unheard to him as you leaned over his shoulder, staring at his desk. “You’re heading to Herta Space Station in a while?” You halted, yet he had no response. As if he’s chosen to ignore the malign echo inside of his head — which was you obviously...

Ratio took a deep jaded sigh, uprising from his seat and, departing. Taking his way to Herta Space Station. You being yourself, of course, followed him. Though, he simply chose to ignore you the entire time!!

Arriving at Herta Space Station, no matter how much you provoked the guy, he gave you no response. You could see his muscles slightly twitch, continuing to agitate him further yet no response! Much more patient than he normally was!

So, when Ratio started engaging in a conversation with Ruan Mei, you took it into your own hands to try and get Ratio’s attention. You wandered off, further into Herta Space Station and perhaps an area you shouldn’t luckily came across. A bunch of dead antimatter legion creatures. All torn up into shreds and piled one ontop of the other.

Whilst examining the bodies, an idea came across you. Maybe it was a bit extreme but, it might be worth it? You took the blade of one of them, gulping down your clear choked up throat and sense of common knowledge — you held your breath, slashing it across your stomach. You were sure you’d be fine. You’re a demon after all!

Oh, but how you regretted it. The pain was unbearable. Those blades are not to be underestimated, they hurt like hell. You went dizzy, losing your sense of stability. You wobbled to the door, holding your stomach and dragging your feet. If only you could find Ratio right now, if only you didn’t do something as foolish as that...

You jumped up, sitting in the middle of a large bed, confused. You scanned your eyes around the room, immediately locking them when your view is bestowed by Ratio sitting on the chair besides the bed, looking at you rather upset.

“Ra—” before you could even utter out his name, he abruptly interrupted you. “You. How idiotic must you be?” He breathed out. “You’re smart, aren’t you? Didn’t you figure out how bad you could’ve gotten injured before deciding to wander off?” He scolded, you could sense the slight tone of worry in his voice. “I didn’t know there’d be that many of those antimatter legion pests roaming around!” You fend for yourself, lying to him. You couldn’t admit you did it yourself just to gain his attention after all!

Ratio let out a disheartening sigh, sitting besides you on the bed. “You deceived me. Again.” His voice, soft, and culpable. Again? Was he indicating he knew about your little ‘act’?

That however, wasn’t going to put you down. You weren’t admitting until you were absolutely certain. “Deceived? When have I ever deceived you?” You played dumb, confident he wouldn’t see through you.

He only looked at you, a bit perplexed, tucking your hair behind your ear. “I was cleaning up your one awful mess of a room, and I found your study book.” He moved closer to you on the bed, sitting right besides you. His eyes, unable to leave your face. Your heart was pounding. He found the very study book that proved you were indeed simply acting as if you were dumb, just to get under his skin?

“You’re... Rather smart. And, I must apologize.” He reluctantly moved back a little, his eyes redirecting to anywhere else in the room aside from you. Which made your heart break a little, but you didn’t lift your gaze off him. “I was ignoring you, I was frustrated you were hiding your true potential. Just to get under my skin... I had decided to ignore you out of my own pettiness.” An apologetic, sincere tone coating his words — his eyes moved to your stomach. “I truly... Apologize.” It was’t easy for him to say, but he said it anyways. Just because he couldn’t stand the fact he brought pain upon you.

“However, don’t do such things to get my attention — ever again.” A flip in his apologetic tone turned into a demanding one. He moved back closer to you, you could feel your breath hitch as you realized how close your faces were. “Right... I think I learnt my lesson...” You sheepishly chuckle, Ratio’s frown turning into a soft smile. He noticed your little demon tail wagging a little, almost like a puppy!

He cupped your face with one hand, looking directly into your eyes. “You are truly one idiot, you little demon.” He amorously expressed his concern. You held his wrist, slightly nodding — Ratio unexpectedly pulling you in for a chaste kiss. You didn’t deny it, at all — it was nice basking in Ratio’s slight affection and worry for you. “Doesn’t that make you a bigger idiot for kissing me?” You teased him, to which he scoffed endearingly. Maybe it wasn’t such a bad idea? Though, think of other ways next time...

This is another one that just feels so profound and warm to me in a way I can’t explain, but I love the genuine connection Finn makes with the Music Hole. Also, Mitski.

BLEW MY MIND first time I saw it. It’s got this PERFECT melancholy tone when needed but also really funny at some points… big moment in the story with Finn’s guilt and grief over the finn-sword, the Music Hole is such a quintessential odd Adventure Time concept, Jake and PB having the “divorced co-parents” dynamic…

hello, i’m nine and i’m here to tell my truth, as ridiculous and stupid that sounds, because you people have been only reading one side of the situation and i don’t think that’s fair. 

i joined with nailea devora to a group recently after more than a year of not even getting near to groups in general because as a lot of us know, people can’t control themselves and the hate they throw on a daily basis is honestly gross and my mental health can’t deal with that, but alas i was back for something i thought was fun, playing a dumb nepo baby who gets whatever she wants and plays dumb about it but in reality she had her ups and downs. she took me a while to figure out because i do love my characters and writing them 

during the first party of said group, there was a mixup and characters had to dress up and poppy’s group (she was the manager) decided on cowboys, now tell me, what would you do? because i jumped onto pinterest and found several pictures of nailea wearing a cowboy hat and i picked the cutest ones i found

did i check her age at the moment? no, because nailea is 21 years old and my character as well... why would i (and i quote someone from said rp) carbon date the pictures of my character? 

so i posted it and kept the party, poppy was around all day and as of the day i dropped her, she had the most tweet count in the entire group (if that tells you anything) 

during the party she was flirting with another character she liked since day 1 and they’ve been talking and it wasn’t a sexual relationship, just flirting like literally everyone in that group or the entire rpc for that matters 

him qrt that picture and poppy jokingly said “you let a cowboy ride you” or something like that, she never said anything actually inappropriate on main because she didn’t even say it on dms. 

and this is when things get wild because the yuqi fc started fights with everyone and i get that some characters are just assholes, i love villains in media, but in my opinion, some kind of ooc talk must exist before you right on attack someone on main, out of good manners at least (but we all know not everyone has that privilege) 

poppy ended up blocking the yuqi fc out of principle, she wasn’t gonna let some biter bitch to ruin her night (which ended with her sleeping alone btw, seeing as how much they care about my character’s sexual life) 

after that, the yuqi fc kept posting indirects or very direct attacks to my character, at one point it was all they posted and ignored it, i don’t like to get into drama that way and if they couldn’t kept poppy out of their mind.. well everyone has haters, right? 

this went on for WEEKS and poppy only cared about it when her friends sent her ss of the post cai made, and she was annoyed because her friends used to confront xem only for cai to laugh about it and not even give a good explanation 

i talked to the admins about changing my fc or even drop the group but i was convinced to stay because i haven’t been done anything bad. 

guess what? the bullying kept going. 

when i dropped the group for a day, i was tired of it (and other problems my chara found herself into even though it wasn’t plotted, again) and as soon as i left, cai mun posted an “apology” to the tl saying how it was a ooc thing that went ic for some reason. 

now to clarify, i have no idea who this person is and honestly i don’t want to give them the privilege to meet me or talk to me because someone with that much hate in their person is just not someone i want in my life. 

they claimed that the picture with the cowboy hat was of nailea being underage, which i can’t say 100% sure, but nailea deleted all of her underage pictures from instagram and this one was posted 3 years ago, when she was 18/19 years old. 

yes, younger than the limit for the group, but that doesn’t mean she was underage or even that i was using that to “infantilize” her, poppy was a very complex character and i don’t see how someone who was blocked for 90% of the time could say something about the way i played her... 

and speaking about the “sexting on main” i never did that and feel free to stalk my old account, the only “racy” thing i posted was a tiktok and it wasn’t even that graphic and again, it was posted for another person poppy was talking (not in a romantic way) 

but i don’t know, let the person obsessed with mario bros and calling themselves a “princess” for the entirety of the group to tell you who’s being childish

I believe the concept of yanderes ft. a isekai-d reader has been mentioned by Shepard and her anons, tho it’s been mainly for Origins SMP. So, I come to you with ideas for the Dream SMP because that’s all I’m familiar with HAHAH—

Y/n and their younger sibling, Frisk, had just finished up another press conference regarding Monsters being back on the surface. All seems to be going well until the ground beneath their feet vanishes and they fall unconscious a few moments later. When they awaken, they notice they’re surrounded by humans—wait they aren’t all humans, what the fuck, since when are there hybrids? They knew everyone from the underground—by name, no less—and had never heard of any currently living hybrids. Only of ones from before the war. Besides, Monsters have been on the surface for a month at most, so there is no way for... oh boy, their head is spinning.

After some very...tense...introductions (“Hi, I never saw you guys Underground, nor have I heard of you, no offense. So, uh, which monsters are you guys related to?” “OI, I’LL HAVE YOU KNOW THAT TUBBO IS NOT A MONSTER!”) they come to the realization that y/n is most definitely not from this world, or even this universe. Y/n’s adamant refusal to fight the “real monsters” that roam this land (“I did not spend countless timelines weeks putting my life on the line to befriend every monster, break the barrier that trapped them Underground, and defend them against my own god forsaken race just to turn my back on them.”) was a pretty big sign, after all. That, along with species of monsters that the SMP members have never heard of and how y/n talked about Souls as if they were a tangible thing.

It’s a rocky start before any sort of friendship is formed: y/n, wanting to be cautious, (and also not having Sans there to CHECK for them) decides to ask everyone what their LV is. It’s risky, and they had no way to prove if anyone is (or isn’t) telling the truth, but it was worth a shot. “Our levels?” A small goat hybrid asked, his head slightly tilting to the side. Everyone assumes that y/n is talking about enchantment levels. “I’m at 26! Ranboo, you’re at 30, right?” “I’m at 37 now, actually.” “Well, I’M at 58. Clearly I’m the superior one here. A real big man, a very manly man, aren’t I?” And a few others pipe in. Color drains from y/n’s face and they take a few steps back, hands shaking as their eyes dart between each person in the room and the exit. ‘How many lives have they each taken to make their LOVE so high? Why do they seem so proud of it?’ Yeah... that was an interesting experience.

- even though they have been reassured multiple times that the monsters of this world are nothing like the ones from their home, y/n still refuses to kill a single one, as I had mentioned earlier. They also refuse to kill animals. It takes a couple tries at explaining LV or LOVE—Level Of ViolencE—along with EXP—EXecution Points—but eventually everyone is on the same page

- Y/n is hesitant to bring out their SOUL when asked. First off, though they’re now friends with those from the Underground, they can’t help but be reminded of every spear, knife, bone, petal, gaster blaster, and fireball that has been aimed at them with the intent to kill whenever their SOUL was drawn into an encounter back then. Second of all, showing your SOUL is something you do with those you trust with your life—after all, you’re literally putting your lifeline out on display when you do so. There are so many different ways that the SMP members can see it

- Perhaps a monster appears

- Eggpire or Dream attack

- Someone forces y/n into an encounter because everyone is too curious to just let this opportunity slip by

- When y/n discovers that the people of this land have more than one life, they’re confused. There is no way that all of these people have SOULS of Determination, and there’d definitely be some issues if people kept rewinding time to their last save point. Besides, only one Determination SOUL—the strongest one—should be able to respawn. Then again, they only know what Frisk had explained to them. They were never able to see the save stars that Frisk would interact with in the different sections of the Underground. So they only have so much to go off of.

- Battle for them is completely different. Despite being in a different world, the mechanics from their world still apply. They can FIGHT, ACT, use an ITEM or show MERCY.

- They use Frisk’s tactic and flirt their way out of a fight or two. They never understood why Frisk did it until now... ‘I mean, I...wow. That was actually effective.’ They’re impressed.

- Oh no, maybe that wasn’t the best idea...they might have some yanderes after them bc of it...

- They probably have accidentally called Philza ‘Asgore’ and Tubbo ‘Asriel’ because both hybrids remind her of the two males from her world. Similar personalities AND Tubbo is a goat hybrid. The poor child is going to be so confused

- If Tubbo’s a yandere oh boy it’s going to be so easy for him. Y/n will probably be constantly at his side and telling him stories about the first fallen child and how they were adopted by the royal family, who are goat monsters! And just explaining the history of the underground and how important the goat family is. Talks about Asriel a lot as well. Probably makes him butterscotch cinnamon pie and tries to recreate golden flower tea to share with him as well. Or, they do that and he’s not yandere and it’s just wholesome.

- If we follow the headcanons that some fans have made, perhaps Frisk (and/or y/n) gave up half of their SOUL to give to either (or both) Chara or Asriel so they’d have another chance at life

- Not only does y/n refuse to kill, which leaves them vulnerable, they also only have half a SOUL, which means they’re incredibly weak. Someone needs to protect them, someone needs to keep them safe, someone needs to—

- Y/n is incredibly agile thanks to all the battles they’ve faced Underground. With their SOUL always out in the open during an encounter and the fact that they refuse to harm anyone, it’s required. I’m imagining them moving like a dancer, using jumps and spins to help them avoid any weapons swung at them.

- This is gonna be annoying for any yandere that wishes to lock y/n up. Even if they won’t physically hurt someone, they WILL put up a fight and make it as hard as they possibly can to be dragged into isolation or imprisonment

- When it comes to who goes yandere, I believe what color of SOUL y/n has (their personality, in summary) would play a big role. Here’s a few of my ideas, feel free to move people around or add to it, I’m really tired and can’t think of many characters LOL

- Red (determination): Wilbur, Technoblade

- Orange (bravery): Technoblade, Dream, Tommy

- Yellow (justice): Sam, Technoblade

- Green (kindness): the kids of the server, Fundy, and Ghostbur

- Cyan (patience): Ranboo, Ghostbur, Karl

- Dark blue (integrity): Tubbo, Philza, Sam

- Purple (perseverance): Dream—this man would love to see how long it would take for your perseverance to run out. I wouldn’t be surprised if your perseverance is the only reason he’s interested.

Logan had mentioned to Janus how hard he found the transition from his room to the outside, and vice versa, so now Virgil came to get him to his room and accompanied him on the way to their meeting and back. At first, Logan was concerned that the others would see them and ask unsolicited questions, so they decided that only during that transition Virgil would wear his normal attire.

Today Virgil was at his door quite early, but Logan didn’t mind. He wouldn’t explicitly ask for it, but he had become more flexible and enjoyed the additional time they could have. When Logan opened the door, he was taken aback by Virgil’s disapproving frown. Had he done something to insult Janus lately? It had happened before that their entire date felt strained when he had made an out-of-place comment or hadn’t responded well to Janus’ hospitality. He didn’t have to wonder out loud, though, since the other began speaking as he walked in.

“Hey, Teach. I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to startle you,” he said, looking Logan over, still frowning. “Are you alright?”

Ah. Of course he was worried, Logan thought, since he surely did look quite disheveled. He was in the middle of working, after all, and the others didn’t usually see Logan like this.

“I’m more than fine Virgil. Very glad now that you’re here, in fact.”

Virgil stammered. “You- you are?”

“Of course.” He wouldn’t admit that either, but he also enjoyed it when Janus allowed him to be the one making Virgil flustered sometimes. He stepped forward and took Virgil’s hand in his. His lips quirked in a small smile when the other’s eyes widened, but it disappeared when he abruptly pulled his hand away.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing?!”

Logan stuttered, completely at a loss for words, and Virgil continued, his volume gradually increasing.

“Is something wrong with you? First you act all nice around us out of nowhere, which I guessed made sense because you were clearly only intending to get us to listen to you, but at the same time you’re closed off and disappear constantly and no one has any idea where you go. And don’t say you’re working because I know you don’t have that much work to do. Seriously, what are you doing here all day? Writing in your useless calendar? Making a new list of ways to stress everyone out to meet your insane standards?”

Logan froze and felt his muscles tense at the harsh words, but the other didn’t stop.

“I wanted to try to be kind to you and find out if something was bothering you, even though Patton and Roman insisted it wasn’t necessary, but when I come here the first thing you do is ignore my personal boundaries? How many times do I have to tell all of you not to touch me without permission?!” Virgil’s eyes looked almost hurt at the end of the sentence. “You used to be the only one that respected me.”

Speechless, Logan searched desperately for something he could say or do, but both his mind and his body were petrified. All of a sudden, a string of words felt out of his mouth with ease.

“I apologize, Virgil. Remus came here earlier impersonating you and I thought this was him again. I was planning to take him off-guard and twist his wrist with a new self defense maneuver I learned, in order to convince him to leave me alone.”

Virgil looked just as surprised as Logan felt, but he was able to school his expression and keep it neutral, as the anxious Side cooled down from his outburst. When Virgil began apologizing, Logan spotted Janus behind him, leaning on the door frame with his arms crossed. Their eyes met for an instant, before Logan glanced back at the Side speaking, who had just finished expressing regret for his previous comments and suspicions.

“Don’t worry about it, Virge. Your reaction was understandable. I’ll make sure to check before I assume I have someone else in front of me.” This time, he was telling the truth.

Virgil nodded, and apologized once more and, seemingly too ashamed to continue the conversation, began turning around to leave. Logan looked to where he had seen Janus standing, but he was no longer there. Suppressing a sigh of relief, he walked the other Side to the door.

Right before leaving, Anxiety hesitantly added: “Hey, uh- either way… Can you stop pretending that you care about us? It’s… weird to see you act like that. I prefer it when you just stick to getting stuff done, you know?”

Logan didn’t respond, only looking away and biting the inside of his cheek as Virgil went back to his room. Logan closed the door behind him and let out the breath he was holding. He was immediately startled by a hand resting on his shoulder. He turned around to meet Janus.

“You did well.” He said, earnestly.

“I have to thank you, since you were the one to come up with that lie to amend the situation. Otherwise I wouldn’t- I wouldn’t have known what to do.” His voice cracked as he looked behind him to the door, where Virgil had just been standing, and he tried to cover it up with a cough.

“Oh, love.” Janus said, his low voice sorrowful as a gloved hand guided his face back towards him, lifting it from his chin with one finger. “Let’s get you out of here.” With that, Deceit sank them both out into his own room.

So, I saw that you're into LOTR, the Wingfeather Saga, The Silver Eye, and Hunt for The Wilderpeople, and I love ALL of those, so please please will you tell me your favorite parts/books/scenes and favorite characters? (Spoilers are not a concern, BTW)

Aaa really?? That's so cool fam!! I got really excited to answer this when I saw it, tbh all of those are so good and I don't know where to begin so thank you.

For LOTR, my favorites are probably Faramir, Eowyn, Sam, and I'm going to stop myself there on characters for now because there are too many that I could write essays on. Also shoutout to Boromir and Frodo who I used to dislike but I did not give enough credit to and now are favorites also. I've watched the movies more recently than I've read the books and I am not going to list the scenes that just make me want to scream because there are too many. But Eowyn/Gimli friendship and tbh just all of the Gimli friendships in general deserve more love. Very wholesome. Also Boromir death scene??? Absolutely kills me. Denethor/Faramir cut back and forth scene while Pippin is singing? Ouch. Sir Mr. Professor Tolkien and Peter Jackson I'm going to have to ask you to stop.

It's also been a while since I read the Wingfeather Saga, but it's in my top three core favorite series/pieces of media in of all time (there are concentric circles of favorites) along with LOTR and the Chronicles of Narnia. Sometimes I wonder how good old AP would feel about being placed there but that is HIS fault for writing such a good book series and not mine. I grew up reading it and it is just....mmmgood. I love the sibling relationships in that book, tbh definitely made an impact on me and how I treat the people around me (esp. being an oldest/older sibling haha). He works truth into good storytelling so well. Favorite characters...once again difficult but Janner (hmm project much), Artham, Maraly, the Florid Sword, Nia, Leeli, Kal....there are not a lot of characters I dislike in that series. There is just so much redemption going on all around and each of the characters are lovable yet have profound flaws and hurts that they have to work through in a very real way. I really need to do a reread lol.

TSE is not quite in the core circle but one of my favorite pieces of media of all time and definitely my favorite webcomic. There's so much detail in the story and Laura does such a good job writing dialogue and characters, along with having just...astounding art? Apen and Berlyne have both been favorites for a long time but Chara has grown on me a lot and tbh is very underrated. Joe is great and tbh I think knows everything going on because he's standing in the background of pretty much every conversation that's supposed to be a secret, shoutout to Idony for being in the Least Problematic Club with Joe and Chara. Alvarados ftw I guess. There are more characters I dislike in this comic but none because they're badly written, more because they get on my nerves or have made....poor choices....things which I am apt to rant about at length and thus will save for another time. But all the characters are entertaining and really essential to make up the group and have potential so there is that. I'm excited for them to get to Levant and meet more characters (I really wanna see the Shephard sisters). Also if anybody sees me liking TSE posts that they made years ago it's because I've been dredging the depths of this site for more TSE content and I apologize in advance.

I watched Hunt for the Wilderpeople for the first time like two weeks ago and it was just...so good?? The potential for stories with a quirky setting or tone to be a setting for the deeply profound is something I love to see tapped into and Taika Waititi does that beautifully. It's a genre? I dunno how to describe it that reflects the confusion and chaos of the real world very well while still creating a good story. 10/10 will make my friends and family watch.

1. LIGHT YAGAMI

now. i dont think anybodys surprised. MFKSKFMFMHNGJN honestly, though i dont care about death note much at all anymore, hes like gum stuck to my shoe and i just cannot get him off no matter what i do. i tell myself that i dont give a fuck about anything in death note until i see him on my dash and i go apeshit. hes completely changed me and how i approach analyzing complex characters. i think hes the first character that ive ever actually cared about in that sense? the sense where i look into every detail about him i mean. its really just so fun...

my absolute favorite thing about him... i really love how funny he is. this isnt to say hes a humorous guy im saying hes funny as in he makes such stupid decisions and its hilarious to see him struggle so hard constantly. the entire ending of death note is fucking insane it sends me into laughing fits every time. theres so many funny moments in death note despite it being considered a psychological horror animanga because of him being a genuine fucking idiot 24/7. hes supposed to be a genius but he truly does lack so much self awareness sometimes.

2. GORO AKECHI

god... hes perfect. he and light are on the same level of favoritism for me, dont let the numbers fool you. hes hands down my absolute favorite in persona 5 and it blows my mind knowing that the majority of the fandom feels the exact opposite or are torn over him ITS ALMOST FRUSTRATING because its mostly due to the amount of misinformation/mischaracterization spread about him!!!! but no he just happens to be the best written character in that piece of shit of a game! MFDKDHNGJJ AND PERSONA FANS CANT COMPREHEND GOOD WRITING

my favorite thing about him.. i love how hes written. and i know this sounds really basic and predictable, but its the truth i just really love his growth as a character, especially in royals third semester when he gets a chance to properly shine and oh my god! did he shine! hes literally so perfect in 3rd sem

theres just something so captivating about an angry teenager who truly thinks of his life as worthless and doesnt bother making bonds with others because of it who suddenly finds himself questioning his choices of self isolation when he finally meets a group of people he can resonate with and feel seen by. a group of people who are willing to reach out and listen to him despite his past mistakes. theres just something so perfect about seeing that same angry teenager want to take his life into his own hands and strive to grow... that same angry teenager who didnt value his own life start to see meaning in things because of bonds...

i love goro so so much he makes me so emotional if it isnt obvious enough NGFHGDGBDFH I THINK ABOUT HIM A LOT. i think about him healing so much.

IM NEVER FORGIVING ATLUS FOR TRYING TO SHOVE HIM INTO THE SILENT PROTAG BOX AND NOT LETTING HIM BE HIS OWN CHARACTER! BECAUSE HE HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE AMAZINGGGGG ugh sorryfor caps im so fuckng mad MKDFKMGMHMGMG

it really does get on my nerves how because of atlus trying to make him a silent protag, the majority of the p5 fandom sees him as that. blank slate. nothing. when in reality he very much has a ton of spunk and id argue that hes his own character entirely if you just look a little deeper past the surface Like... its not even that hard to see personality in him. beneath the mask is literally his theme song, have you Not seen the lyrics to that? HAVE YOU NOT SEEN THE ENTIRE THEME OF THE GAME? this little dude is so traumatized and angry at those who wronged him (aka the justice system! shitty adults!) and people have the nerve to say hes the worst persona protagonist? lmfao

my favorite thing about akira is how he looks like a cat and how cocky and annoying he can be.. he is such a jokester hes the absolute dumbest. i enjoy this silly guy. *holds him under the armpits like a longcat*

4. SHIGEO KAGEYAMA

mp100, of course, changed my fucking life. mp100 is the reason i am the way i am and though all the characters are incredibly relatable and memorable and i cherish them so dearly, i, like most people, cherish mob the absolute most. seriously his strength really is incredible and though hes just a fictional character he is so inspiring and i wish to carry as much gentleness in my heart as he does.

im so so proud of him on his development he started off so.. i wouldnt say he was weak, but i would say that he lacked experience. he lived in his own little bubble not knowing what the world was like and throughout the story he grew to learn so much.. he learned to make such. mature decisions at such a young age. hes so so wise. hes so powerful not only because of his psychic powers but because of his compassion for others. he can befriend even the worst of people...

my favorite thing about him is his determination to become the best version of himself he can be. and also his relationship with ritsu (not me, i mean ritsu kageyama <3) i always gravitate towards siblings in fiction because im an only child and well <3 i dont experience that. so i like projecting onto them GHBFBBHFG they care so much for each other.. sniffle sniffle

5. RYO ASUKA

ok im going to be real even though im into devilman i dont have much of a reason to enjoy him this much. i just think hes hilarious and really cool and his satan form gives me gender envy. i love it when he commits random easily avoidable acts of violence for no reason at all its just because he wants to. and thats just fine. i think he can kill people and get away with it because hes ryo asuka. gay rights

Okay, I finally crafted something. Chest and legs for armor. Iitiative V. Together they give +11% XP instead of +15 I had on the pre-order set, but I could put lots of bonuses onto them. Used "25% shields on kill" as enhancement and "+50% recharge speed, -30% weapon damage" as a mod.

Okay, this is simpler than I thought. The Initiative was about escaping the Reapers. And I thought they were looking for something in Andromeda...

If there's really nothing more to it -- I'd actually be disappointed. The game just continues to subvert its own most ridiculous statements. Pretty much everyone assumed that building something called Arcs and moving to another galaxy right before the Reaper invasion is an attempt to preserve people and culture. The game insisted that wasn't the case, except of course it is. There were only two new races, suspiciously alike -- are they related? Nobody even mentioned the possibility in the game until it was confirmed. On the one hand, it's a relief that the game doesn't believe its own bullshit. On the other, I'd like not to be treated like an idiot. I'd like a story with a premise that makes sense by itself, and with reveals that are genuinely surprising. What's next on the list of predictable "plot twists"? Is Alec alive? Is Reyes the Charlatan?

Honestly when I was making a choice it seemed simply whether a bunch of krogan or salarians are saved from exaltation, the krogan are connected to your friend but the salarians have a Pathfinder. But then the game seems to present it as "many krogans, your friend's friends, vs one Pathfinder"?

I have 3 loyalty missions in progress, Peebee, Jaal and Drack, and the last one seems pretty urgent. 

I need to go to Elaaden, especially because after this I need to restore my relationship with the krogan.

I need to activate the vault on Voeld, people in my outpost and my angaran allies has been freezing their limbs of for a long time.

Kadara is the only place where nothing important is happening, but I need to get it to 90% asap to unlock the fusion mod perk.

BTW, re: the choice: Sloane is almost as bad as Aria at this point, the only redeeming quality is her backstory. And she's proven herself a bad leader, while Reyes could turn out to be better. But deciding to let her die within a split second -- that's not something I or my idealistic character could do. And now Reyes has a potential for a cool comeback story, and Sloane -- for a redemption arc. We have both characters alive and active, while the other option kills one off. (Which, I realize, is a reason that we might never see an interesting follow-up.)

Well, this was a good planet to bring Drack and Peebee with you everywhere! Sorry Peebs, but even you didn't feel joy when we finally found that drive core after all the bloodshed; plus it's your own philisophy to look into the future instead of the past; plus we might find other Remnant ships but this diplomatic opportunity is huge and unique. It's a laughably small price to pay for so many good things -- not just the outpost, but paying our debts and renewing friendship with a good ally led by an admirable woman. This makes me feel really good, unlike Kadara. New Tuchanka in generally is a feel-good place. The krogan look more real with their occupations and interests, their reason for being here makes perfect sense unlike the rest of the Initiative, and they're happier than in the Milky Way (at least until the end of ME3. Yeah, they have the genophage here, but also the Reapers aren't killing and harvesting them, so I'll call it a draw).

Whoa, I won! Ate like 20 shield boosters, though. What a bullet sponge, I felt like I was doing no damage at all. And in the final section of the fight it spent like 5 minutes just shooting and throwing grenades at me without ever exposing the vulnerable spot, I thought that maybe the game just forgot to indicate it. I used Vanguard, Charge/melee/Lance for adds, gun/Lance/Charge for the Architect itself. For some reason it didn't occur to me to switch to Infiltrator or Soldier or even Explorer for sniping lol

Now that I finally leveled up Lance today, I tried a lot of setups... Flamethrower/Energy Drain/Lance (Sentinel), Annihilation/Energy Drain/Lance (Sentinel), Annihilation/Charge/Lance (Vanguard), Pull/Charge/Lance (Vanguard). Next time I'll try Singularity as the first primer. I don't have the final evolution of Annihilation yet, so it's not at full synergy. I really don't know what I like better -- ED/Sentinel or Charge/Vanguard. The latter is novaguard reborn, basically, but I already have one Vanguard profile, which is melee/tank oriented, and I don't want to remove Backlash, especially to replace it with a power that slows down Charge. Four favorites are not enough, Bioware! At least seven -- one for each profile. I still don't have a build for Remnant VI and I really want to use it! Btw, my final blow to the Architect was with Lance -- ending the testing session with style!

I can craft N7 armor X already! Wow. Why no level requirement? I'll replace my chestpiece -- massive buffs to biotics >> 4% XP. Don't know if I should disassemble my old armor or just buy more enhancements...
