Theories on Violet's Hair and her weak Joints:

Spoilers for Iron Flame

Violet has silver hair, pale skin and weak bones. Her signet manifests as lighting but actually is raw power. She has the mind of a scribe and the heart of a rider. She is petite and has a short height. Her silver hair looks like it has been drained. She also has blue eyes when Brennan and Mira have brown eyes.

You thinking what I'm thinking?

Violet is half venin.

This will explain why the venin want her, why she has weak joints, and a lot more.

But how is it possible?

Now, now. There are a lot of possibilities, but I think it is because:

1. Lilith was drained when she was pregnant with Violet.

2. Lilith, while she was giving birth to Violet, chanelled from the source because of some pregnancy complications.

3. Papa Sorrengail has the antidote to de-venin a person. Lilith had turned into a venin and she was pregnant with Violet. Later, she got de-venined but not Violet.

Remember how Andarna and Violet have been continuously stated as similar creatures? Remember the fact that Andarna is the seventh breed of dragons?

What if Violet as well is a different creature?

What if she is not the only one?

I don't think I have it in me to be a youtube Video Essayist (like, I have the autism for it, and i love pacing around my house pretending I am, but I do not the mental ability to handle pushback), nor do I think i have the thorough academic/analytical knowledge on this topic atm to handle it the way I'd want to, but every time I see discourse about the topic of lgbt characters in video games I yearn to make a video about queer characters and tes and how tes handles them

#in part because of the obvious right wing culture war nonsense that pops up every time eso mentions anything about it on socmed #but also because sometimes the progressive response to it also really misses the mark #like the discussion rarely leaves 'there are lgbt characters in the games' and delves into 'how are the lgbt characters presented/handled'#and how has that changed over the games #which i think is a rather interesting topic #also i know some folks have talked about it before but im not sure ive seen someone going through the whole series and every example #mine #in general i think it would be fun (in theory) to be a tes video maker who focuses more on analytical stuff and picking topics apart #theres a number of good channels that summarize and theorize but i (personally) havent seen anyone who has a more transformative approach #but like i said idk if im built for that

Xadens knees hit the stone floor with such force you had to control your face from wincing. Yet the carnal desire that was dancing in his eyes warded off any sympathy for the pain he may have had while submitting to your command. You couldn’t help but smile.

How sweet. And while the ever so powerful wing leader on his knees begging for permission was exactly what you wanted this evening, you couldn’t help yourself to see just how far things could go.

You gifted him a soft, gentle smile. His pupils widened, drinking you in. “Alright.” You finally relented, “you can touch me.”

He almost doubled over as his hands swing forward for you.

“But,” your voice stopped his movements, “only with your shadows.”

adept magic in skulduggery pleasant is so much fun like the concept of overpowered magic disciplines having extreme weaknesses is very cool when the weakness is a fundamental opposite (fire guy melting in water) and very funny when it's a fuck-you weakness (necromancers being Extremely Vulnerable to pickpocketing)

Love how taxis function like a fast travel system in Malevolent. Arthur hails a taxi and gets in and it dematerialises and rematerialises like the Sheika slate from Breath of the Wild. And then he just chucks money at them at the end and they don't even say anything about it they just take it.
