im listening to this tony gilroy interview with #StruggleNation and he's saying that there isn't a single scene they wrote for Andor (across SIX HUNDRED PAGES!) that they shot and ended up not using. See it's not like when liberals write storylines like this, they're coming to the natural conclusion of what they've written and suddenly they turn and run away bc they don't like what the implications are. They truly think oppressed people x oppressor setting aside "their differences" to fight a "bigger enemy" is the natural end to that sort of political and social landscape. They fully 100% want and believe in that ending and that reality in our world at large. The idea that an oppressed people would ever do anything but (grudgingly) shake hands with the people who hurt them is unfathomable to them. It's just "lesser of two evils" BS.

Which doesn't surprise me bc didn't at least one of the creators say that Arcane was inspired by or at least about an increasingly polarized society where the two sides can't "talk" or something. Like lmao. Centrism at its finest.

SAG officially considers cosplays of current/past media as crossing the picket line as it can be seen as supporting the studios they're currently striking against.

EDIT 2 (first edit in tags): the tweet in the OP has been deleted, so I'll be shutting down reblogs on this post just so people don't take the link as a solid source when it no longer exists. For context, the original link was from a content creator who'd emailed SAG-AFTRA about guidance surrounding promos, contracts, and influencers. The response from SAG-Aftra likely wasn't 100% detailed because things were still being figured out. As for more detailed questions such as what counts as an influencer and other really specific questions I've seen in the tags, that's not something I know. Maybe emailing SAG-AFTRA themselves will help, although I can't be sure.

If the original email or the FAQ were confusing to you, it's likely that it's because both were phrased in a way that would be understandable to people who'd be likely to scab, ie influencers under specific circumstances. It's not really geared toward the lay person (which is what the FAQ will make clear by their frequent use of "influencer").

Again, the notes (and frankly the original link itself) have some that this is about influencers specifically. I missed that keyword in the OP (typo). I need people to stop acting like I'm willfully fearmongering and spreading misinformation. I read the full thread. I read the entire FAQ. It's on you if you do neither. At the time of my reading the thread, the FAQ either hadn't been released yet or had just come out. I also need people to stop bringing up Neil Gaiman's Tumblr post when SAG-AFTRA has their own Official FAQ on their strike site.

For the FAQ, it's here. It's about influencers, both union and non-union. Iirc the non-union FAQ has some ways to help that non-influencers can also engage in, like using a hashtag or generally raising awareness.

I wonder what the modifications are to a clone's DNA that the Kaminoans made. Like can the average clone hold their breath for 7 minutes. In the unbara arc rex says the men have kept up their (brisk walking) pace for 12 hours and they're "getting tired". How long can they go without food? Without water? Are they just naturally more flexible at baseline than the average human? Is their bone density and lung capacity higher? Do they have a more efficient circulatory system? Do they not build up as much lactic acid when they work out? Do they burn fat more efficiently? Do they have better memory? Better eye sight? Are they immune to every known allergen in the galaxy? I need to knooooooow

I wish we could have gotten more Jedi that don't like each other or don't trust each other not because of ideological differences but because they just found them annoying. Like what about a Jedi who just hates Anakin. They don't even know about the explosive anger issues and the Problems they just think his personality is grating.

I mean I really like that Jinx broke down the old machine/game that Vi used to max out on to build a new arm for Sevika. I vaguely remember powder shooting it too at one point, but I could be wrong. So much happens in that room with that game, but powder breaks it down to make something useful. She knew Sevika was struggling for a long time to fix her last arm by herself (while also drunk, repeatedly).

And she was really proud of it and put a bow on it and everything. Sevikas known Jinx longer than Jinx knew her own parents and you can see in all of their non-verbal communication in the New Arm Beat Down.
