Little!Swiss - CG!Aether & CG!Cirrus
TL;DR Swiss having a bad pain day and his body doesn't wanna work with him. Refuses to take care of himself, so his pack does it for him :) (Completely self indulgent)
Swiss curses, kicking the ground out of frustration. A strangled whine of pain leaving him despite his best efforts to keep it down. Aether perks up from his spot on the couch, glancing in mild concern at Swiss who was in the kitchen. “Swiss? You alright?” The multi ghoul quickly tries to regain his composure. “Ah- yeah! I'm alright Aeth. Just ,,, stubbed my toe.” He adds a laugh at the end, hoping to sound more convincing.
Aether doesn't seem to fully buy it but shrugs it off as weird Swiss behaviour, going back to scrolling on his phone idly. The multi lets out a quiet relieved sigh, moving to go to his room. A sharp yelp of surprise leaves him when he goes to step but his knee bends backwards instead of staying straight. He barely catches himself, bracing against the counter for a moment, repeatedly applying and removing pressure on his knee to make sure it won't fold under his weight again.
The quintessence ghoul in the living room shuts off his phone and stuffs it in his pocket before making his way to the kitchen. Upon seeing the slightly shorter ghoul hissing under his breath and testing his leg, he sighs in sympathy. “Where are your braces?” Swiss' head snaps up, a growl leaving him. “I don't need them! Just . Give me a minute!” He says with aggravation, standing up straight with a glare.
Aether glares half-heartedly back, very prepared to deal with a stubborn ghoul. “You're in pain. If you don't let me grab the braces, I'm going to go fetch Cirrus. You don't want that, do you?” The defiant expression Swiss’ face wavers, but he steels himself. “You wouldn't! I'm fine, see?” He takes a step. To his credit, his legs seem to hold steady. .. against his credit, he winces as a bolt of pain zips up his right leg unwarranted.
The taller ghoul just sighs, taking out his phone and sending a quick text to Cirrus. The multi ghoul’s eyes widen and he tries to snatch the phone from Aether. “No!” He tries, pleading desperately. “Yes. Aaaand there. Sent.” The rhythm guitarist says with just a bit too much amusement in his tone.
Swiss deflates slightly, a loud whiny tone leaving him. “Noooo….” Aether smiles, seeing the signs of him slipping into a regressed headspace. “Awe, come here little one.” He says in a soothing tone, holding his arms open for a hug. Swiss looks torn between going to the comfort or pouting instead. Eventually, the sound of a hug is too alluring and he takes a step before falling into the bigger ghoul’s arms.
“There you go bambi. Let me and Cirrus care for you.” The multi ghoul lets out an upset whine. “No.. m s’posed to be big ‘n protect eve’yone. Can't do that if ‘m not big..” Aether just shushes him gently, swaying side to side to try and calm the upset ghoul in his arms. “We're alright. Let's focus on you for once, okay little dove?”
Cirrus enters the room before Swiss can respond. Despite his hesitation to letting himself slip, something in his brain still registers her as his caregiver. He perks up, a happy chirp leaving his mouth. “Mama!” He wiggles out of Aether’s arms, aiming to launch into Cirrus’ arms. He pauses, a look of confliction on his face when he sees she's carrying a few things. Knee braces with rotation locks, wrist brace with extra support, and something else he couldn't see well.
“No.” Swiss pouts, already upset. “Oh, come on little one. You know they're good for you and important. Don't want the owies getting to you!” The air ghoullette says softly, a baby talking tome slowly creeping into her voice. The multi crosses his arms and glares, hating how his body refuses to work with him. “Don't need! M fine. An’ it still hurts even with the thingies! Don’ make me… p’ease..”
Cirrus let's out a soft sound of sympathy. “I'm so sorry, my baby. But you know it has to happen.” She nods to Aether who gently holds Swiss so Cirrus can put the braces on. He whines, trying to wiggle out of the quint’s grasp. The ghoullette crouches, starting to secure the knee supports. When Swiss tries to gently kick her away, she stands up and makes him look her in the eye.
“Baby, kicking isn't nice. If you don't behave, I'll have to take away a bit of TV time.” She would never cut off all his entertainment, but even the threat of 5 minutes less TV was enough for the multi ghoul to relax and let her do what she had to. Aether coo's and gently praises Swiss for being so brave as they get him all set up.
Cirrus makes a gentle sound to get his attention after all the supports are secured. Swiss has slight tears in his eyes, the slight pain mixed with stubborness finally affecting him. The air ghoullette’s eyes soften with pity. “Look what I've got, little lune.” She shows off soft black gloves with little kitty paw pads on the hands. She slips them on over his hands, the larger size of the gloves able to fit over the braces.
His eyes light up a bit, hesitantly clapping his hands. The giggle and happy trill leaving him was relieving to the two caregivers, happy to see that he's returning back to the happy little one they know he can be. He bounces in place slightly, pouting when his movement is slightly restricted at his knees. “Alright little one, let's get you some TV time. Do you want to play with blocks too?”
Swiss pouts and shakes his head, taking Cirrus' hand and half stumbling, half walking to the living room. “Noooo. M wanna play wif uh.. da cars!” Aether smiles, watching them go to sit on the couch. Cirrus gets comfortable before beckoning for the multi to sit on her lap. He's a little heavy, but it's nothing she can't handle. Aether starts to grab a few snacks for them while the TV plays.
“Okay little dove, what do you want to wa-” “Paw Patrol!!!” Cirrus giggles as the excited little one on her lap. “P.. p’ease? Now! Want now! P’ease!” She smiles, turning the show on. “Of course! What a polite little baby, using his words so nice.” Swiss chirps happily, wrapping his arms around her neck and burying his face in her collar. He shifts so he can see the TV but is still happily snuggled against her. “‘Fank ‘ou mama.” “Of course, little lune. Anything for my little one.”

Day in the life of little Aeon and caregiver Swiss
Notes: Commissioned by @everybodyshusband <3
Read under the cut or on AO3.
Tumblr media
Aeon wakes up slowly; his senses tuning into his surroundings one by one. He wiggles in his bed and curls up more tightly around his favorite plushie—a little bat, just like him. He’s too sleepy to realize that he’s still regressed and where he is just yet, though; he chuffs and nuzzles his cheek into the warmth under him.
It’s another hour before Aeon’s eyes finally open. He yawns and stretches and rubs his eyes and feels something rumbling under his ear and tightening around him. The little ghoul feels silly when he realizes it’s Swiss! He remembers now that yesterday ended with a bedtime story and cuddles in the multi ghoul’s bed. He chirps happily as he cuddles closer to him.
“Good morning, buggy,” the vibration of Swiss’ gravely morning voice coming from his chest makes Aeon feel all warm and cozy—safe.
“Mmm, hi Swissy,” Aeon purrs. “‘S n–nice.”
“It is,” the other confirms, not pointing out that the quintessence ghoul is still little. Why would he? It’s not an issue in the slightest; he just wants his bug safe and happy. “I like having my cuddly buggy with me.”
Aeon giggles at the name, “An’ I l–like havin’ my warm Swissy wiv me.”
It takes another while for them to roll out of bed and start getting ready for the day. Swiss helps Aeon pick an outfit to match the weather, wash their face, brush their hair and soon enough they’re on their way down to the kitchen; their hands clasped together.
“What do you want for breakfast today?” Swiss asks as he is already rummaging through the cabinets. They’re always full of absolutely everything and even though the pack tried a system of each having an assigned shelf for their favorite food and snacks, it all blurred soon enough and now it’s just…chaos.
“Hmmm…” Aeon hums, thinking, “I fink the–the rice f–flakes.”
“With raisins and all?”
“Yes, please!”
“You’re such a polite little ghoul, buggy,” Swiss smiles at him and the quintessence ghoul blushes pale lilac. He loves when Swiss is all nice to him like that, it makes him feel so loved. “I’m on it.”
Aeon focuses on playing with his bat plushie by the table as the multi ghoul works on their breakfast. He can see Swiss stirring the pot with the slowly warming up milk, preparing the rice flakes and the raisins and setting up mugs for their drinks, coffee and hot chocolate.
In no time at all it’s all ready and Aeon claps excitedly when Swiss sets everything up in front of him. “You m–made a face!”
“That I did.” The multi ghoul smiles proudly as Aeon smiles at the raisins laid out on top of the milk in the shape of a crooked smiley face. “Enjoy it, buggy.”
Both of them eat their breakfast rather quickly and soon enough Aeon is slurping up the last bit of his hot chocolate. He looks up at Swiss and snorts out a laugh when he sees foam from his coffee sitting on his mustache. “Swissy! Your f–face!”
“Huh?” the multi ghoul pretends to be completely clueless. “What’s wrong with it?”
“Your m…m–m–mustache is white,” they keep on giggling and pointing at him despite struggling a little with the longer word. Swiss dramatically acts out having a revelation and finally wipes the foam off.
“Better?”
“Bet–ter,” Aeon confirms. The multi ghoul sends him a toothy grin and stands up to gather up the dishes. “Swissy, c–can we visit Aeth?”
“‘Course we can!” the multi ghoul assures, but after a moment he realizes there might be a hidden question in there. “Are you alright, though, buggy? Why do you want to visit him?”
“‘M okay, not h–hurt,” Aeon giggles at how Swiss’ brows furrowed in worry right away, “miss Aeth, ‘s all.”
“Okay, okay, you silly little creature.” The multi ghoul shakes his head with a smile. “Let’s go and from there we can go to visit Mounty in the greenhouse, too. I heard there’s a little lady in there with him today, maybe you two could play for a while?”
“Rainy?” Aeon gasps, already excited at the prospect of playing with his best friend.
“Yup! I’ll message Mounty and ask what their plans are, okay?”
The quintessence ghoul nods eagerly. Swiss goes back into the kitchen to dispose of the dirty dishes and grab his phone that he left on the counter. Aeon can see him typing up a quick message before he shoves it into his pocket and returns to the small ghoul.
“Do you want a ride?” Swiss winks with a grin as he points at his back with a thumb.
Aeon could never say no to a piggy back ride and so he smiles widely himself and nods. “Yes, p–please!”
Alright, then, buggy, hop on,” the multi ghoul chuckles and crouches down to allow Aeon to climb on. He doesn’t get smaller when regressed, but he’s a slight ghoul anyway. He obliges and once he’s glued himself to Swiss’ back he starts purring immediately. “Ready? Off to see Aeth we go!”
The  infirmary is quite literally on the other side of the Abbey, so getting there takes them a small eternity, but Aeon couldn’t be happier about such a journey on Swiss’ back. He doesn’t mind it either; an adorable purring little backpack is a great companion.
“Do you want to surprise him, buggy?” Swiss asks once they finally get there, still outside the door.
“Yes!” the little ghoul cheers and scrambles to get off of the multi ghoul’s back. “Wanna su’pise Aeth!”
“Alright, let me check if I can see him,” Swiss giggles, cracking the door open just enough to take a look inside the main room of the infirmary. Aether is there with his back turned to the door and he seems to be taking inventory; rummaging through shelves and taking down notes. “Okay, buggy, if you sneak in quietly he won’t see you. You can go up and hug him, how’s that?”
Aeon nods with a wide grin. Swiss opens the door some more and lets him in.
He watches from a distance as the little ghoul does his best to creep up on Aether; he’s a little clumsy and the older quintessence ghoul most likely already heard him or felt his energy, but he’s nothing if not a good actor.
“Oh, hello there!” Aether laughs as Aeon gets to him and glues himself to his back, wrapping his arms tightly around him. “Didn’t see ya there, kid.”
“W–we came to visit ‘cause I m–missed you,” Aeon confesses, nuzzling their face against Aether’s shoulder.
“That’s nice of you, I’m always happy to see you,” he chuckles, turning around in Aeon’s arms to bring him close to his chest in a bear hug. “Who’s with you, kiddo?”
“Swissy!” The aforementioned comes in through the door with his signature grin plastered on his face. The older quintessence ghoul rolls his eyes at him with a smile on his own.
“Hi, spark,” Aether greets him and earns himself a peck on the cheek. “What have you two demons been up to today?”
“Nothing much yet,” Swiss shrugs. “Buggy was very sleepy, wasn’t he?”
“Yeahhh…” Aeon agrees. He still didn’t let go of Aether, but the other doesn’t seem to mind. “Bu’ we w–wanna go t–to Mounty an’ R–Rainy.”
“I’m sure they’d love to have you, kiddo. Do you wanna sit down for a moment?” The little ghoul nods into his chest and pulls away to take a hold of Aether’s hand instead. The other walks them to his little office and flops down onto a big chair before patting his lap in an invitation. Aeon, of course, takes it and curls up against the older ghoul in a cat-like manner. “There we go, all cozy.”
“How’s it in here today?” Swiss asks him, sitting on the edge of Aether’s desk.
“I’m not going to use the s-word,” he laughs, “but there haven’t been any incidents yet.”
“Gotcha.” The multi ghoul nods. A relative silence falls after that, interrupted only by the most adorable quiet purring coming from the little ghoul curled up in Aether’s lap. He and Swiss gesture and mouth to themselves above Aeon’s head about just how precious he is.
It’s a while before someone moves—the big ghouls think Aeon has fallen asleep. At some point a sibling of sin comes in needing Aether’s assistance, though, so Swiss and Aeon decide to get going.
“I’ll text Mountain to tell him we’re on our way,” Swiss tells the little ghoul.
Before they leave, Aether squeezes Aeon once again and gives him a few lollipops to share with Swiss, Rainy and Mountain. The little ghoul is overjoyed. He and Swiss leave the infirmary and the multi ghoul offers Aeon a piggy back ride again; he takes the offer, of course. A few minutes into their walk Swiss feels a vibration and hears a ping coming from his phone. He pauses and fishes it out to check the notification.
“Mountain asks if we can bring some snacks for lunch on our way,” he turns his head to look at Aeon as best as he can with him hanging off of his back. “What do you say?”
“Yes, snackies! Le’s go!”
“Alright, then,” Swiss giggles and turns in the ghouls’ den direction.
Aeon is so much happier after visiting Aether and the prospect of playing with his best friend; he’s kicking his legs and humming as the multi ghoul carries him down to the kitchen.
“Okay, what do we take?” Swiss asks when they reach the kitchen and he sits the little ghoul on the counter. “Definitely some Capri-Sun for you.”
“For Rainy t–too!” Aeon reminds him. “An’–an’ the crackers, Rainy loves the c–crackers.”
Swiss could just about melt at how caring, kind and considerate Aeon is, big or small.
“Capri-Sun and crackers for Rainy, got it,” he says as he throws them into a basket. “Something else you want?”
“Hm…” he considers for a second, “the–the ap’l sauce! For me an’ Mounty.”
Swiss and pulls some apple sauce packets from a cupboard.
“Ap’l s–sauce for Mounty ‘cause i’s green like h–him,” Aeon explains and the multi ghoul nods in acknowledgement, smiling.
“Anything else, buggy?”
“Somefink for y–you!” the little ghoul points out. “You like the c–cookies.”
“Oh, I really do like cookies, you’re right,” Swiss hums and gets a pack into their basket. “I think that’s all we need, hm?”
“Yes! Wanna p–play wiv Rainy now!”
“So excited, aren’t you?” Aeon nods; so excited indeed. “Alright, but I’m afraid you have to walk this time, I have to carry the basket.”
“Dat’s fine,” the little ghoul shrugs and hops off of the counter. “Le’s go!”
He’s out the door before Swiss even grabs the basket, laughing. He follows two steps behind Aeon until they’re outside and halfway down the way to the greenhouse.
“Can I r–run?” he asks, giving Swiss his best puppy eyes.
“Yeah, you can, buggy.”
“Wohooo!” He grins and turns on his heel right away.
“Just be careful!” Swiss calls after him. It’s not a huge distance to the greenhouse from there and the way is rather even so the multi ghoul doesn’t worry. He watches as the little ghoul runs with his tail swishing behind him and storms into Mountain’s greenhouse.
Swiss makes his way down slowly and with care to the snacks he’s carrying. When he gets inside he sees Mountain standing over and watching with a smile as the two little ghouls hug each other. Swiss grins and comes up to the earth ghoul to hug him, too.
“Hi, big guy. They’re so cute my heart hurts,” he chuckles.
“They really are,” Mountain agrees. “You should’ve seen them when Aeon just got here.”
“Ah, can’t miss it next time.” Rain and Aeon finally pull away and the little water ghoulette runs up to greet Swiss—one of her favorite caregivers—while Aeon goes to Mountain.
“Hey, princess,” the multi ghoul murmurs into Rain’s hair as she throws his arms around him.
Aeon all but climbs Mountain at the same time. “I g–got ap’l sauce for you!”
“Did you, now? That’s very nice, Aeon, thank you!” the earth ghoul giggles, holding him up under his legs after he wrapped them around his waist. The quintessence ghoul holds on tightly for a little while longer—just as Rain is holding onto Swiss—but eventually they all part.
“Alright, who’s hungry?” Swiss asks, holding up the basket they brought. “We’ve got snacks!”
“Yippee!” Rain cheers, clapping her hands as she sits on a big picnic blanket Mountain spread out in the middle of the greenhouse. Aeon grabs something from the basket before joining her.
“I have c–crackers and Capri-Sun f–for you, Rainy,” the quintessence ghoul hands them to her, both blushing slightly.
“It’s my favorite crackers!” Rain beams as she grabs the snacks and inspects them. “Thank you, Ae!”
“You’re wellc–come,” Aeon giggles. Swiss sets the basket between the two little ghoul’s and sits with Mountain a little to the side, giving Rain and Aeon some space for themselves.
The little quintessence ghoul grabs himself a juice, sticks the straw in and starts to slurp happily, but his brows furrow when he notices Rain struggling with opening it.
“D’you wan’ h–help, Rainy?” he offers shyly.
The little water ghoulette only nods and hands her Capri-Sun to Aeon for him to open. It really is tricky sometimes and no one is better skilled in it than him. He hands it back to her with a bright grin, so proud of himself and happy to help his friend.
“Thank you,” Rainy mumbles. After that it’s all a blur for her and Aeon, really. They share their snacks—Swiss and Mountain gasp when Rain gives Aeon one of her crackers; she rarely shares those, they’re special—and once the basket is empty, they jump up excited and full of energy to play. The caregivers keep an eye on them for the next few hours as they run around the greenhouse and outside of it, playing in so many creative ways. They play hide and seek and tag and some game without a name that is apparently based on hanging things off of their horns. They both have so much fun that day it feels like it’s going to be impossible to get them to their beds.
Mountain and Swiss only decide it’s time for Rain and Aeon’s day to end when both littles start yawning and rubbing their eyes. Their decision is only proven right when they don’t protest being picked up and carried back to the Abbey.
The dinner in the den is planned quite late today because of Aether’s long shift in the infirmary, which means Swiss and Mountain having two littles on their hands have to come up with something else themselves. They make it work; the earth ghoul takes Rain and Aeon to entertain them—and keep them from falling asleep—on the couch in the common room while Swiss makes them all grilled cheese and pours some juice into their sippy cups.
Both littles are exhausted after the long—but super fun—day they had, yawning every two minutes as Mountain does his best to distract them from the tiredness tugging down their eyelids.
The grilled cheese by Swiss—no one misses the joke potential there—is always delicious and even despite their compelling need to sleep, Aeon and Rain devour it like never before. When the plates are clean, Mountain picks Rain up and sets her on his hip and they both murmur the others’ goodnight. Swiss grabs Aeon, too, switches the common room lights off and carries the little quintessence ghoul to his bedroom.
“I’d let you skip the shower tonight if not for the dirt on your face,” Swiss remarks, swiping a gentle finger through the aforementioned mud on Aeon’s cheek.
“I c–can show’r, ‘s okay,” he assures the multi ghoul and he doesn’t doubt it.
“Alright,” he smiles, “I’ll prepare some cozy jammies for you and leave them by the tub, okay? Then I’ll wait here for you.”
“Mhm, ok–kay.”
“Off you go then.” Swiss ruffles his hair. “Just be careful, don’t slip, buggy.”
Aeon nods once again and disappears into the bathroom. As promised, the multi ghoul gets his jammies and once he hears the shower curtain being closed and the water being turned on, he steps into the bathroom and lays the clothes on a tray by the tub.
As he waits for the quintessence ghoul to be done, Swiss takes care of the nest; fluffing up and rearranging the pillows and blankets. He sits Aeon’s plushie atop it all—handling it with the care it deserves—changes into pajamas himself and waits. He emerges from the bathroom soon enough, with wet hair and a tired face.
“Really sleepy again, aren’t we, buggy?” Swiss asks, but not to tease. Aeon gets extremely cuddly and soft when he’s like this and the multi ghoul can never get enough of spending time with him.
“Mhm…’m real s’eepy,” he confirms before letting out yet another yawn.
“You’re adorable,” Swiss mutters, making Aeon smile softly. “Come on, bedtime.”
The little ghoul obliges, crawling into the nest and wiggling his body to bury himself under all the comforters. He grabs his plushie and brings it close to his face to rub it against his cheek. Swiss feels like he could melt into a puddle at the spot as he watches him.
He gets in after him and lays on his side—head propped up against his bent arm—letting the little ghoul choose if he wanted contact or not; and if he did, what kind. Of course it was easy to presume that Aeon would shuffle closer, but Swiss always gives him space to make a choice.
The little quintessence ghoul lays his head against Swiss’ arm and puts his face close to his chest—he loves being all small and safely tucked against the bigger ghoul. Swiss wraps his free arm around him and holds him close.
“C–can I get a bed st–story?” Aeon whispers after a minute; barely audible as he’s already falling asleep.
“Of course you can, buggy,” Swiss answers equally quietly. He leans down to kiss his forehead before starting the tale. “Once upon a time, deep in the woods, there was a tunnel. It wasn’t a normal tunnel, it was a magical one made of big trees…”
Aeon is fast asleep before Swiss even gets to introducing the main character.

CG!Lyney with Little!Aether?
[Aether is feeling super sad about being separated from Venti, and kinda slips from it?]
my head is FULL of ideas.
Of course! Cw: Diapers, missing a CG
Tumblr media
Lyney found Aether regressed on an Aquabus and took him back to his home (ofc with consent)
Poor Aether broke down when he got back to Lyney's home.
Lyney had to tap into Freminet's little things to get Aether changed.
Freminet is a little smaller than Aether, so everything was a bit snug, but just the right amount, just to make it comforting. Lyney then pulled a blanket out of his hat, kinda swaddling Aether in it and letting him cry it out
Lyney is the BEST for naptime! often swaddling up aether and rocking him till he falls asleep, then slowly moving him over to a bed he set up for him.

Aether trying to put a fussy little dew to bed...sounds like fun lol
Do you think you can write a fic about this?
yeah sure! of course!
I love writing regressed dew, and I think him being fussy fits his personality so well! Thank you for the request!
Without futher ado:
1am shenanigans
Summary: It’s 1am, and a tired Aether is trying to put the very energetic regressed fireghoul to bed.
words: 900
Pairings: Regressed Dewdrop, Caregiver Aether, also brief appearance of Cirrus
The fire ghoul spurled around the room, his body wriggling and gleaming with energy as he chased around the laser pointer Cirrus was playing with around the ghoul common room. He had the been chasing the laser for hours before, and the energy of the ghoul came to no end as he bounced around the room.
“Deww! Its time for some shut eye! It’s 1 am dear” Aether's voice rang out in the ghoul common room, laced with nothing but concern for the fire ghoul. He stepped in front of the energetic rascal, his body exuding a presence of gentle calmness.
"But....Aefey! I don't want to go to bed! I'm not tired" Dewdrop whine, disappointment lingering in his eyes, his nose scrunched in disgust at the idea of being put to bed.
“I know, little firefly, but don't you want to wake up and have the energy to play tomorrow?" Aether spoke, as he gestured to Cirrus to put away the laser pointer.
”Aether is right, you know, I think it's time for us to go to bed“ Cirrus spoke, her voice croaky from all the laughter she passed in the past couple of hours.
”Not tired! Cirrus! Please can we play some more?" Dewdrop shot his words, as he pounced in the air and crossed his arms.
“None can do, kid” Cirrus spoke as she yawned “I'm off to have my evening shower, see ya in the morning Aeth! Goodnight little one!“ she cooed the last part to Dewdrop.
”We need to calm you down, firefly" Aether whispered.
“Aeth, five more minutes? I really want to run around! It's so fun!"
"Nope, all the other ghouls went to bed. Now would you be a good boy for me? I'll tuck you in if you behave" Aether spoke, slight irritation lingering in his voice.
Dewdrop's lower lip jutted out ever so slightly, showcasing the classic sign of a pout. The smooth curve of his lips now held a hint of resistance, a silent protest against the unwelcome suggestion of sleep. Even his fiery aura seemed to flicker with a subdued intensity, mirroring the conflicted emotions etched across his expressive face.
“Please Dew?” Aether begged, his usual friendly and warm eyes tinted with exhaustion, and a hint of concern. "Why do you even want to stay up, anyway?"
"Not tired, Aethy" Dewdrop confessed.
Aether looked at Dewdrop, his eyes reflecting a mix of weariness and amusement. "Come on, firefly, bedtime is calling, and even the laser pointer needs its beauty sleep."
Dewdrop's eyes widened at the mention of the laser pointer, torn between the allure of play and the idea that Aether used his emotions like that.
Aether chuckled, "You know, if the laser pointer could talk, it would probably be saying, 'Enough, Dew, I need a break!'" He mimicked a high-pitched, imaginary voice, eliciting a giggle from Cirrus.
Dewdrop, caught off guard by the unexpected humour, let out a small laugh but still looked reluctant. Aether seized the opportunity to continue the banter. "Besides, if you stay up all night, you'll turn into a nocturnal ghoul, and I'm not sure the others are ready for that."
Cirrus, who turned back from entering her room, joined in, "Yeah, Dew, imagine waking up to find yourself surrounded by sleepy ghouls trying to get ready for the day while you're bouncing off the walls."
The thought seemed to amuse Dewdrop, and his resistance waned as he envisioned the comical scenario. "Okay, okay, I guess I don't want to be the only ghoul wide awake when everyone else is snoring," he conceded with a grin.
Aether seized the moment, "That's right, firebug" Now, let's make bedtime a grand adventure. I'll even tell you a story about a mischievous fire ghoul who learned the importance of a good night's sleep."
With a playful twinkle in his eye, Aether led Dewdrop towards his bedroom. It glowed with the warmth of red and gold hues, evoking the essence of dancing flames. Adorned with tapestries and artwork depicting swirling fire motifs, the room's focal point was a bed with crackling ember-patterned sheets and flame-carved headboard. In a cozy corner, a lava lamp added a mesmerizing touch, its molten wax mimicking the fluid movement of lava, casting a dynamic play of light.
Dewdrop climbed into the bed, as Aether threw some blankets on his body, as he tucked in the ghoul.
"Cosy, my love?" Aether cooed softly, as he tuned on the lavalamp.
“Bed time story, please?” Dewdrop asked
"Absolutely, my little Dewcifer" Aether replied with a tender smile, the warm glow of the lava lamp casting a soft radiance across the room.
As Dewdrop nestled into the crackling ember-patterned sheets, Aether began to weave a bedtime story, his voice a soothing melody that harmonized with the gentle flicker of the fiery-themed bedroom. The tale unfolded like the dance of flames, carrying Dewdrop into a world where fire ghouls embarked on enchanting adventures beneath the starlit canopy. The lavalamp's liquid glow echoed the story's rhythm, creating a tranquil ambiance that embraced them both in the comforting warmth of the fire-themed haven.
He softly carressed Dew's cheek, as Dew softly purred while the quintessential ghoul recounted his story. As Aether continued his tale, the bond between them deepened, and the room became a haven where the warmth of the story and the glow of the lava lamp melded into a soothing lullaby, cradling Dewdrop in the arms of sweet dreams.

hii if its not a bother could u possibly do a mini fic of little!venti cg!aether? idrk abt the scenario tho /_\
LITTLE!VENTI AND CG AETHER? I love them.
Tumblr media
Minific plot: a crowded angel's share gets to Venti. Luckily, Aether can help.
-
Despite Venti being a bard, he wasn't really...good at being front and centre. He could quite easily get lost in his music and alcohol, but once he realises how crowded and loud the tavern is, it hits him like a metaphorical brick. He was never particularly good with crowds, and he isn't exactly sure as to why but the issue still stands.
A bard that can't handle large crowds in a tavern. How ironic.
Tonight was one of those nights, and the tavern was relatively lively. Mostly still tavern-goers that he knows. but he still feels....scared. Despite that, he only has to focus on Aether to calm himself down. His eyes were beautiful, and he loved the other deeply- not that he knew.
The two had been sat at the same table for a while, doing a relative catch-up. With all that happened in Fontaine, and the rather wind-less location of the Fortress of Meropide, he's not been able to watch the blonde and his fairy companion.
Dread began to set in, and unlike his usual self, he pauses mid sentence.
"Venti, are you okay?"
Tears began to run down his cheeks, as he hastily attempts to wipe them away with the cuffs of his outfit.
"M...good." he smiled, despite crying. "Jus' lots'a people."
Aether had experienced this before. He was unsure if Venti was a regressor, but he wasn't doing good in Angel's Share. The tavern had become a bit too crowded for his liking also, with the addition of a berry-flavoured alcoholic drink, the nation was quite literally going buck-wild for the beverage.
Still, Aether took it upon himself to assist his friend.
"Do you want to leave?"
Venti shook his head, glancing at the staircase behind Aether. "C'we go up...?"
Aether ignored the other's thumb nestled in his mouth, and quietly turned around to glance up at the secondary floor, something which was visible from where they were both sat. The floor was overcrouded as well, with every table being occupied by a resident.
"We can't, kiddo."
To this, Venti whined to the other, using his free hand to wipe more tears from his cheeks, sniffling after. Mostly, he'd calmed down, but he was still upset!
"Come on, we'll leave and go get something to eat at Goodhunter. On me."
With a sniffle, Venti stood up and toddled over to the door, ignoring the drunkards around him. Aether held his hand, leading him quietly to the mentioned restaurant. He sat down, clearly a bit...mentally small. Any small noise or sudden movement would distract him, and anything particularly shiny would steer his attention.
"Venti, you okay?"
He nodded, thumb still in his mouth. Aether took a small chance, trying to get the other's finger out of his mouth with a simple nudge, nothing more- and Venti originally did such, wiping it on his shorts.
"Sorry, I have a sort'a...headspace?" Venti began to frantically explain. Aether's chuckle quickly cut him off.
"It's alright, I figured. With the thumb stuff, and the fact that your waistband isn't particularly hidden right now."
Franticlaly, Venti wrapped his cape around the other, before Aether chuckled again. "That's happened to me a few times before. People in Angel's Share are probably too drunk to tell left from right, much less what anyone's wearing under their clothes."
He chuckled. "You are right."
"Plus, I do age regression too."
Venti put two and two together, and nearly choked on his apple slice. "What?"

I love it when people draw transmasc Aether with top scars or a binder. It makes me feel very seen! I also love it when people draw cis Aether. It makes me feel at ease. I don't feel like either is wrong or incorrect (specifically to me).
I know fanartists aren't intending to draw "me" me, but seeing the art they create makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside, regardless.

FLAWLESS (Yandere!Various Genshin/Reader)
Tumblr media
A/n: This is a complete interactive fic w/ CGs! There’s an HP system and 4 possible endings (yandere!Scaramouche, Alhaitham, Kaveh, and Kazuha). This is my final fanfic and I really put my best effort into drawing and writing this. Have fun!!! Your choices matter so read the evidences properly and try not to get a bad ending hahaha. (Pls answer this poll after and feel free to send me memes about who you got hAHHAHA)
Unreliable Synopsis: (Danganronpa!Genshin AU) If this is your last dance as an idol, then you do not want it. No. You’ll make the real criminal sing instead.
CW: yandere themes, blood, murders (well duh ansy–), and brief mentions of suicide.
Tumblr media
Kazuha frowned. "For (L/n) (Y/n), this whole ordeal must seem like a flawless crime."
"They don't know the murder weapon, the suspects— no nothing." Kaveh sighed.
Alhaitham interjected. "Indeed, but the real questions will begin in a moment."
Words punctured the air in nameless accusations. Each time people enter this room, only distrust looms acting both as a safety blanket and suffocating plastic. You stared at the people left. One, two, three, four, five... You clenched your fist, and all those fingers pointed back at you.
The sixth.
There are only six survivors left.
"Say, (L/n) (Y/n)." Your Akademiyan companions stared at you as Kunikuzushi’s smirk could practically be heard in his voice. "Where were you at the time of the murder?"
You gulped.
The Teyvat Akademiya. Home only to the most renowned student of their craft. The faculty carefully picks out select groups of students to be their new freshmen- and it can only be counted by hand how many had declined such a generous offer. It was a government state university, but it was also a golden ticket to knowing people from high places.
Each student was known for contributing something in their fields of interest. In fact, both your adoptive siblings were alumni of this prestigious school. Your brother Aether was a famous "adventurer" (as he loved to call himself instead of an artifact-obsessed archeologist) whereas your sister Lumine was a remarkable swordswoman with a straight-edged track record. Even your older friends, Dainsleif, and a certain glasses-wearing individual you had forgotten the name of were graduates and now boast incredible resumes befitting of an Akademiyan. Each alumnus you've met wasn't someone any person with a head on their shoulders would dare disrespect.
But that was not the reason for your schoolmates’ evident intimidation.
“Allow them a moment to process,” Alhaitham scoffed. “The Body Discovery Announcement was approximately 2 hours ago. It’s challenging for individuals from the entertainment industry such as them to comprehend complicated matters in a few seconds.”
“I would’ve fainted at your rare attempt at empathy if it wasn't obviously pointed,” Kaveh scoffed before turning to you with a soft stare. “(Y/n), don’t listen to these two, I’m sure we can find out if you’re innocent or not later.”
You gave a short nod of assent.
Tragically, murders had become the norm for college students like yourself. No one has flinched at Kaveh’s grim mention of a suspect lurking by and none had the insanity to deny what had occurred.
It began when you first woke up in one of the Akademiya's classrooms. You stirred awake on a desk near Shikanoin Heizou, the "Detective Prince". He was a famous figure, so you instantly believed him when he said you were both hauled into this location against your will. You were enthused by his infectious desire to uncover whatever was behind the “kidnapping” you found yourselves in. He told you not to worry, that despite the barred windows and inaccessible exits, you'd both "probably" find a way out.  As you both wandered around the area, you found fourteen other students (some familiar faces, some not as much). For a brief moment of hope, everyone thought escape was possible.
That was until a certain cold-eyed puppet entered the scene.
A heartless puppet you’re sure was waiting for everyone just under that elevator.
“Is… Is this everyone?” You asked like a mouse, frightened as your eyes darted for any hints of twinned cyan hair. Nothing about your recent behavior had gone unnoticed.
Senior Faruzan is missing…
Yoimiya frowned, grabbing your hand for comfort. “(Y/n)…”
Kunikuzushi scoffed. “Enough of this dumb ohhh boohoo exhibit. Let’s go.”
The most mysterious of the bunch left for the stairs immediately, punching the button on the elevator to its ground floor. Yoimiya huffed, muttering complaints about Kuni’s behavior while the three other men followed her silently. No one took the stairs two at a time and walked at a snail’s pace. A clear indication that no one wanted this to occur.
And just like in the previous cases, Kazuha’s eyes were on you the entire time but spoke nothing of this behavior.
The elevator door opened. You looked at the camera above it. If the Shogun's words are to be trusted, then the outside world is watching your every move like reality TV.
If that's the case, might as well give them a show.
Kunikuzushi stepped aside, royally ushering everyone— and specifically YOU— in.
“Idols first.”
Tumblr media
Everyone entered the trial room. If the mood from earlier was tense, it is worse now that you’re inside. Stepping into the cold room makes the situation all the more real.
There is an execution waiting to happen, but without a hint if it’ll be “us” or “them”. Every bright person inside the room here had previously partaken in 4 of these court sessions by force. Since no one can exit the premises nor contact the outside world, the only key out was to kill and avoid getting caught. 5 people had attempted to commit murder, and considering how you’re still breathing, none of the “blackened” had succeeded in getting their way.
How… How did it come to this?
You enrolled in the Akademiya in hopes that you'd also find the subtle clues as to why Aether went missing, this wasn't in your plan.
Getting roped into this killing “game” was on no one’s to-do list. You received an invitation to enroll in the Akademiya because of your stark idol career, although your siblings being famous alumni may have greatly increased your chances of receiving that privilege. You would’ve thrown that paper into the fire if you knew you’d get dizzy upon arriving in the Akademiya and will wake up in such a heartbreaking dilemma. Hearing from a grapevine, you discovered that Kaveh was invited for his architectural drafts, Kazuha for his poems and a bit of swordsmanship in his repertoire, Yoimiya for her firework shows, and Kunikuzushi?… You don’t know. But you are wholly aware as to why Alhaitham is here as your senior— you were there when he opened his letter after all.
The “mascot” is yet to make her entrance. So, as “obedient” students, you’ve uncomfortably shuffled to the places you were meant to stand. Bile rose inside your throat as you looked at the last five students excluding yourself circling the room— with Faruzan’s crossed-out portrait to your right while Kamisato Ayaka’s on your left. It would appear that most of the dead students were on your side and the closest breathing person next to you was Kunikuzushi, who was two photographs away.
Alhaitham, Amber, Tighnari, Ajax, Albedo, Kamisato Ayaka, You, Faruzan, Xiao, "Kunikuzushi", Kaveh, Cyno, Yoimiya, Layla, Yunjin, Kaedehara Kazuha, and Shikanoin Heizou.
The deceased faces had been crossed out in bright violet paint, a nauseatingly unsubtle reminder that only six remained. Yet, the one that was meant to sit towering above was missing.
“… Where’s The Shogun?” Kazuha asked.
“Ah, so you do have a voice. And here I was about to call you a cricket. I thought our poet lost his words, considering how the previous trial ended,” Kunikuzushi mocked, rolling his eyes. “Just wait and see.”
You sighed, hoping it was quiet enough for Kuni not to have heard it.
The last trial broke everyone’s spirits and sense of camaraderie the most. Before trials, the puppet gives everyone an incentive to kill. In the Ayaka-Heizou murder case, each student was given a videotape that raised more questions than answers. Yours was a clip of Lumine, your fellow theater actors, and idol mates congratulating you for your enrollment before it cuts off to a scene of your home burned to cinders. As for Ayaka, hers was a short-lived message of her older brother asking her to come visit the clan for Thoma’s upcoming birthday— before it cuts to a gruesome scene of her brother fatally wounded on their living room floor.
“Find out what happens once you graduate!”... and then the tape ends.
Whoever was the mastermind behind this killing, you had to admit, they were an expert in psychological torture. And unfortunately for everyone, Ayaka was a smart individual— killing the most trustworthy student, Heizou, to cover her tracks better. She put up quite the fight in manipulating everyone to think that you and Kaveh were possible culprits.
You even got into an argument with the calmest person around. Kazuha was “convinced” that Ayaka was right, which led to you two entering an incredibly heated argument that left him depressed with his rejected apology. You were on "good terms" with him before, that being he would always offer to cook food and accompany you often.
… Perhaps that was a good thing. Discreetly, you thought he strangely knew you to a degree that makes you far from comfortable. It still bugs you how he knew you all too well and yet you know nothing about him other than his aspirations: traditional Inazuman poetry writing with a bit of karuta on the side.
Maybe he used to be a big fan of yours? Even so, the foundation of your music, choreography, and persona was weaved through a tapestry of feel-good lies. And yet, he was wise enough to speak your true thoughts before you even hesitated to voice them in your cheery idol tone.
But that’s not the issue right now.
The issue on your plate was that you had no evidence to prove your innocence except for the list of school rules on your E-Handbook because you were convinced someone will kill you during the investigation.
You laughed to yourself bitterly. Might as well review those rules now.
You opened the E-Handbook.
As per “school rules”, there are regulations to be had in a murder game, but none stick to you as these three. Rule #10 and #7: A class trial will commence after three or more students have discovered a corpse, and a Body Discovery Announcement will play as soon as it occurs. However, a trial will be held if and only if every survivor is present; failure to do so will result in class “expulsion.”
And the last rule that never left your mind was Rule #8: If the guilty party is exposed during the class trial, they alone will be executed.
By the end of Trial #4, she did not receive a proper execution. Ayaka was compelled to restore her honor and raised her sword to…
… You couldn’t hate her for it. Even though you were close friends with Heizou, you couldn’t hate any of your fellow students. They all had family, hopes, and visions for the future. Each one here was "a fledgling barely out of the nest." You couldn’t deny that you would’ve done the same.
"Since the Shogun isn't here yet, let's get a headstart," Kaveh gripped the court fence, eyeing everyone with a nervous stare and stiff posture. "What's your alibis?"
Nobody raised their voice initially. You cast a pitying glance toward Kaveh. When it comes to your closest friendships, he comes in second only to Heizou. As someone who had seen the horrors of the media which is essentially a mirror of the world's social issues, Kaveh's one of the few decent individuals left on the planet, in your opinion. In moments of quiet, you, Kaveh, and Faruzan used to chat together, with Heizou periodically interrupting to share his findings regarding everyone's entrapment.
Considering how Kaveh is your last true friend left, you volunteered yourself.
"I never left my room," you spoke audibly depressed, no longer caring that you appeared un-idol-like. "And I refused entry as well. I heard a couple of angry knocks at 9:37 p.m., but I didn't open my door for anyone."
You looked at Kazuha, hurt and accusingly.
You'd never forget how Kazuha called you a murderer. That intense argument made up 30% of Heizou's class trial. He lost his composure and called you a "dishonorable monster". The whole back-and-forth was very much unlike him. After the trial, neither of you talked– and you never left your room unless it was to get something to eat without anyone in sight.
If he was the one who killed Faruzan because he can’t get to you, then you’ll…
"9:37 eh? You got a watch now?" Kunikuzushi pointed at your wrist.
You snapped out of your aggression and nodded, which made him break out in a fit of laughter.
"HAHAHA!!!" Kunikuzushi grinned, wide. "Learned your lesson, huh?!"
You scoffed, but your ego was humbled and your heart sank at his harsh words.
Everyone in the room nearly lost their lives because of your time-blindness. It's precisely what made Kazuha suspicious of your motives. You were always unsure of the time, hence, you didn't have the most watertight alibi compared to Ayaka. Before you entered your room to lock yourself, Alhaitham blocked the door with his shoe and handed you his spare wristwatch. He was the last person you saw before your self-isolation.
"Good," Alhaitham said. "And you, Kunikuzushi?"
"Are we going to ignore that angry knocking thing?" Kaveh rightfully asked.
"Let's complete the first task first," Alhaitham answered. "Let's follow the circle; it's (Y/n), then Kunikuzushi, Kaveh, Yoimiya, Kazuha, then I."
"Conveniently putting yourself last," Kunikuzushi snarled. "But whatever. I was napping in my dorm. Woke up when I heard footsteps outside and decided to investigate. The discovery alarm rang off when I entered the nurse's office the second time."
Kaveh fell silent, his face pale.
"I… never went to m dorm that night"
"Oh?" You and Yoimiya curiously said in unison.
"I-I was with Alhaitham, patrolling!!!" Kaveh defended; his arms in the air. "I swear on my life, I was with him! We're probably the footsteps Kuni heard."
He spoke as if it was a good thing with his mouth, but he was whispering that it wasn’t with his eyes.
"Can't be certain," Kunikuzushi threw in a quick grumble and snapped his fingers. “But I think that's probably the case.”
"That makes sense. I mean, if Kuni was telling the truth then that just means there's more chance it's just those two hopping around. Oh, and I was actually on the second floor at the time. I was in the recreational room cause I wanted to get tokens for the cute little Shogun Stall.'' If Kuni’s side comment lasted a month, then Yoimiya's would be a year– but her good cheer is just what everyone needed to alleviate the tension.
"I wasn't in my dorm room either," Kazuha said. "I was in the cafeteria. I couldn't sleep so I decided to fry fish."
"True, I think. When I checked the cafeteria a knife was missing from the shelf."
"We’ll keep your fact-checking in mind, Miss Naganohara."
No soul was sure if Alhaitham was being genuine about it except for you. And the answer was yes, he was being warily appreciative. Admittedly, you don’t know any of these people before this killing game started, except for one person…
Alhaitham looked away, conscious of how you looked at him.
In all fairness, Alhaitham was closer to Lumine than you and Aether, and he wasn’t your favorite neighbor either. As a kid, he was the type who would leave in the middle of hide-and-seek simply because the ordeal wasn’t “stimulating” to his developing intellect. He had a habit of causing uncomfortable situations just to “observe” your reactions with an emotionless stare. Alhaitham had once given you a sumeru rose with a startling grasshopper to see how you would behave, and the worst part is that everyone knows he did these without malice. His grandmother had to force a sorry out of him for your tears to dry. “He probably has a crush on you, you know how boys are,” was the excuse the old lady tried, but your twin siblings were quick to shut that thought down. You and he were simply oil and water, nothing more, nothing less.
But there were times you two got along. When you aired out loud sentiments regarding how stuffy his room must be, you snatched the book he was reading and dashed up the nearest tree. Despite his grumbling reservations, he was thankful that you taught him how to climb that afternoon. That was the first you saw him smile wider than usual and offered to narrate the book you stole: The Little Prince.
However, that version of Alhaitham you’ve come to love remains awol amidst this killing game.
"As for my whereabouts: Kaveh is correct. He and I were patrolling just the first floor and exchanging conversation. Neither of us could sleep. We started at 9:15 and ended abruptly at 11:05, when we, along with Kunikuzushi, found–"
"The body." Kunikuzushi finished.
"Yes," Alhaitham said.
Kunikuzushi smirked. From your perspective, the worst part about this was not Kunikuzushi’s inappropriate smugness, but the look in his eyes that mirrored what Heizou used to have— what your good friend used to be. The light in his eyes, his more forward demeanor, the way he crossed his arms and snapped his fingers– it was as if he was copying him.
Mocking him.
You hate Kunikuzushi. You detest just how much you don’t know why he’s in the Akademiya or anything else about him other than his first name. You loathe how he had made it his job to be the antagonist of every damn class trial. You hate how he looks at you as though you’re beneath him. You despise how much he is willing to withhold vital information till the very end.
Kunikuzushi is like a commedia dell’arte stock character. A Scaramouche. An unreliable servant. You can’t trust a man who said he was moved by your acting in all your filmography only to act like he wants nothing more than to crush your spirits once lives were at stake.
After listening to everyone’s alibis, your intuition screamed from something deep within a place you had begun to trust after experiencing these trials:
Out of six survivors, FOUR of them are hiding something.
“Is everyone present?”
Before you could speak up, a low and refined woman’s voice stole everyone’s attention. All turned to gaze at the long synthetic-haired lady with a katana by her side. She returned the stares with an unfathomable coldness as she strutted to her throne, the silk of her grand kimono touching the floor.
There she is. The lone audience and judge. The puppet: the Almighty Raiden Shogun. Undoubtedly made of metal and not flesh. Xiao had learned that firsthand when he sacrificed his life in an honorable duel against the captor— but seeking freedom by force was of no use when she herself is capable of the murders she wished to witness.
“Very well. We shall begin.”
“W-Wait, hold up, ma'am!”
The last vaguely extroverted cheerleader raised her hand; her bravery to interrupt the Shogun was acknowledged.
“... Can I share my E-Handbook data with (Y/n)?” She asked, high-pitched.
The medical and criminological technology of this era eluded everyone. Trapped inside the Akademiya with no phones or any signal to the outside world, each student only has their E-Handbook to rely on. It contains information the owner investigated regarding murders and records testimonies made by their peers. A handbook is only “handy” for both people who were hoping to survive and those who were hoping to twist the facts.
And that offer is exactly what you need.
“You see– they didn’t leave their room during the investigation period– probably worried that the killer might be after them next and they kinda turned into a hikikomori for the past few days. I’m kinda worried they wouldn’t be able to defend themselves on this trial so… So, uh… Pretty please?” The blonde girl smiled nervously.
The Raiden Shogun stared, calculating.
“I shall allow it.”
“Thank you so much!” Yoimiya tapped her E-Handbook as fast as she could, more eager than you were in watching the loading screen fill up.
(SYSTEM: RECEIVING NAGANOHARA YOIMIYA’S E-HANDBOOK DATA…)
(SYSTEM: TRANSFER COMPLETE.)
You smiled at Yoimiya but it came out crooked and jaded. She didn’t complain that you weren’t at your top form today, but she did send you a loud “Do your best!” in her native tongue.
The Shogun walked to the throne and took her seat.
“Now then, let the class trial begin.”
Out like a bolt of lightning, the doors behind you were completely shut with metal bars in her flick of a wrist. In her twisted form of justice, she hammered the circular surface with her gavel.
“Court is now in session.”

˗ˏˋ ꒰ ⊹ unexpected development ! ꒱ ˎˊ˗
summary ☆ you get transported into your favorite otome game’s world as a shitty side character with a raging death flag. you try to prevent your inevitable destruction... but it doesn't go according to plan as much as you'd hope.
notes ☆ of course it's another scaramouche fic except this time it's plot is manhwa inspired
Tumblr media
“This trashy game!” you curse, watching the pitch black GAME OVER screen linger in your phone. Happy music plays despite the current cg of your character at the hands of the tyrant character slash love interest Scaramouche. You sigh, tapping on the back button. “I was so close to completing his route… stupid, stupid game, ugh…”
Teyvat’s Seven Stars was a new otome game that you'd tried out for fun, bored out of your mind. The amazing art and soundtrack garnered your interest, not to mention the male leads were totally your type!
It had an array of tropes and spared no expense of flowery scenes and fanservicey excerpts that made you play despite its massive cashgrab feature. Heart fluttering near death scenes! Action packed romantic scenes with the main characters! It was consuming you and you loved it.
Even if the Scaramouche route was testing your patience.
You get that he was the most difficult to conquer out of all of them, but really, one! wrong! move! ….and an immediate gameover. Life sucks when he's your favorite character, and when your favorite character was notoriously known for having a horrid and difficult complete clear route that no one has completed yet, of course you needed to complete it, no matter what!
Damn it, now you've run out of love points to restart another run. Fuck you, system! Stupid trashy money grabbing game! You put down your phone, closing it. An immediate heavy weight settles on your shoulders, making you feel sleepy as you clutch your phone to bed.
Tomorrow… you'll complete his route for sure…
[ TEYVAT’S SEVEN STARS SYSTEM ACTIVATED! RUNNING GAME FILE NOW ]
Ah. You should've known what was coming.
[ CHARACTER FILE: [NAME] [LAST NAME] - CROWN PRINCE KUNIKUZUSHI’S BETROTHED! ]
What the fuck.
You think you've lost feeling in your jaw when the glare of the system shines bright, mocking you.
“[Name], you're awake!” You turn to the sound, and you face probably the most beautiful person you've ever seen. No, what the hell. You've seen him before.
Beautiful silky dark hair, glossy electric indigo eyes, a perpetual aura of ethereal lightness…. the game descriptions weren't lying after all. yes, you weren't dreaming. This was Scaramouche, or should you say at this point in time… Kunikuzushi?
He immediately clings to you. Oh. Oh. Well fuck. “I… uh.”
Scara- ahem, Kunikuzushi’s eyes are littered with tears and oh no you're a weak hearted person for your favorite character. “I'm so glad you're okay! I'm sorry, my mother- I mean, I'm so glad you're okay.”
The rest of the moments is a blur when your… fiance? betrothed? fills you in on what happened. Your mind is fuzzy and you can only piece together just a rough summary of what point in the game you're in.
So, you are currently three years early from the main story. Unfortunately, you are not either of the main protagonists Lumine or Aether. No, the system apparently hates you for being a hater and gave you the most egregious role.
A side character. A side character who barely even appears in the story, left to be trampled on by the story's plot. What's more, you're in the timeline wherein the current Kunikuzushi doesn't take the name Scaramouche because his Mother, the lone Queen Raiden Ei left him when he could not pass the Inazuma kingdom’s test to be worthy of the gnosis.
He took the name Scaramouche after being trained by the shady organization known as the Fatui, the main villainous force in the game and usurped his mother. In other words, a blackened tyrant character!
...And you were the betrothed his mother set for him - executed in the future because he didn't want any trace of Ei’s influence. Amazing.
The future Kunikuzushi would be an arrogant, tsundere and soft-for-only-one-person type of character, but now, he was like a gentle, tucked away from the world young prince.
Wait…. wasn’t he also gullible before?! Very cute, but it's no wonder he blackened so quickly with such a naive personality!
You, well, technically, the character [Name] [Last Name] ended up in this situation after they threatened to leave Kunikuzushi because he was far too fragile for their taste. A side character who’d contributed to Scaramouche’s blackening and paid for it with their life. That was who you were.
Okay, now you pity this boy a lot. He already had a traumatic childhood with Ei not giving him enough love and therefore a plethora of issues, and he'd even end up being a crazy tyrant who stopped at nothing to get the main protagonist in his grasp! For your death flag not to happen, you HAD to do something about that.
You had no choice.
To survive this horrendous fate, you came up with a plan. And that would be Plan give-kunikuzushi-all-the-love-in-the-word-before-he-meets-the-protagonist-and-turn-into-a-blackened-dark-tyrant!
Okay, lengthy plan, but to plan ahead is to be smart, so you can take care of the name later.
So far so good, this plan of yours. Plan get-kunikuzushi-to-turn-into-a-sparkly-prince character and not his blackened self was going well! (You gave up on thinking of a cool name) Thank god for cliche romance novels.
So far, you've increased your proximity to him, including him to spend time with you, showering him with bouts of affection and care. And so far, it's been paying off. The once secluded Prince has become so cute and so sweet!
You have to pat yourself on the back for this. You were doing the protagonist a huge favor that now they had a wonderful love interest in their sights for future reference.
Although, if there was one nitpick you had on your conduct, it would be the fact that Kunikuzushi didn't take kindly to others aside from you, and would even be panicked, utterly devastated if you even brought up the mere mention of leaving.
“Break… our engagement in the future?” if it weren't for him looking shell-shocked and deathly pale, the furrow on Kunikuzushi’s face would've been cute. “No! I don't want that! You aren't planning to leave me, are you?”
He gives you the most horrendous god kneeling look of a plea, and of course you drop the subject immediately.
“It was a joke, of course. I'd never want to break our engagement!” you hurriedly reassure, gently taking his hands in yours.
Kunikuzushi looks at you, all puppy eyes and pink cheeks. So cute. Who wouldn't want to stay by his side? You reassure him, “Whatever happens, I'll always stay by your side, okay?”
He looks at your intertwined hands with an unreadable expression on his face. “Do you promise?”
You nod. “I promise, Kuni.”
He nods, gripping your hands tighter, and his expression rivals a blazing sun, brimming with conviction as he pulls you in for a huge hug.
And of course, who wouldn't turn down an opportunity to hug their favorite character?
Surely this time, you’ll definitely escape the death flag and horrendous side character ending, right?!
You don't notice the shadow on Kuni’s face when the mere mention of being separated from you comes up.
Tumblr media
In the back of your mind, you wonder what would happen if your Kunikuzushi met the protagonist. Would he immediately fall for them? you wonder, and an uncharacteristic pang of discomfort tugs at your chest. Ah, what would it matter.
You smile at the gentle, pristine and kind Kunikuzushi that's currently excitedly telling you about how Ei praised his sword skills after he beat his younger sister. Even if the main protagonist would come here, you could keep this adorable Kunikuzushi for yourself for just a little longer.
You kiss his cheek, and he heats up. Yes, the future can wait for now.
Tumblr media
How the hell did it come to this?
“You told me you'd always stay by my side, right?” a hand slicked with blood is resting on the side of your face. Electric indigo eyes, these ones now having a ruthless glint to them, stare up at your own. “I've removed everything else that can take you away from me. Now, you have no reason to leave.”
By remove, he meant the man who'd decided to make a move on you after you went to the gardens for some fresh air. Hence the blood on his hands and sword, hence the reason why there's a dead body by your feet.
The once adorable and fair-faced Kunikuzushi still turned into Scaramouche after all, and you failed to prevent his blackening. He was truly, undoubtedly the same game Scaramouche.
But… Why was he acting like this? Wasn't this the exclusive feature only the protagonist should be experiencing?
He presses a kiss to your forehead, then the back of your palm. You blush.
Yes, he is now an extremely dangerous individual capable of executing anyone he deems appropriate to just for the sake of it, and yes, this same man is kneeling before you as you're just about to leave after the main storyline cg act just started. And yes, like the protagonist, you should stay far, far away from him.
But could you really? When he was pleading you with such an expression of longing and yearning? He takes your hand to caress it to the side of his face, eyes haughty and grin unsettling, gosh was he so… so attractive, like that.
“You won't leave, right?” Why was he so…. so sweet? Why was this scene structured as if you were the one he wanted to be with, not the protagonist? “You promised me, after all.”
….And why on earth did your heart leap out of your chest when he said he wanted you to stay?
(It was hard to pretend you didn't know why when the smile on your face said otherwise.)

can i request Aether and Little Mountain doing whatever. like, it can literally be anything you desire, add in whoever you want too!
just in the mood for cg aeth and little mount
Thank you!!!
sorry it took me some time afghasgf i hope its alright, just some cuteness with little mountain, cg aether and brief mama dew at the end
also a tag for @tinymoon-beam as promised :3
Aether was a great caregiver, it was widely known. All the littles loved him, and even though each and every one of them had a specific person they preferred when little and that was simply their favorite caregiver, Aether was always up there.
Especially for Dewdrop and Mountain, they’ve known each other for what felt like centuries and were through a lot together. Not many people remember, though, that Aether and Mountain were there, together, even before Dewdrop was summoned. The quintessence and earth ghouls were close, but not as close as Aether and Dewdrop, even if the fire ghoul’s mate was technically Rain, not Aether. The whole dynamic of the pack could seem complicated to outsiders, but at the end of the day they all loved each other so much it hurt.
Anyway, Mountain—dropped—and Aether have been spending their day outside, the little earth ghoul all happy and bright about the weather. It was one of the first days when it was actually sunny and warm enough to go out and enjoy the near-spring.
Mountain has been sitting on a small rock, staring intently at a few snowdrops with a big smile on his face.
“Happy to see them? Hm, sapling?” the quintessence ghoul asked, crouched down next to him.
“Y– yeah! They m– make me think of Dew.”
“Because of the name?”
Mountain giggled and nodded, “But also ‘cause they feel similar.”
“That’s interesting,” Aether smiled at him, starting at the little flowers himself. If he thought about it, they did have something Dewdrop-like about them. He got an idea, then, and pulled out his phone. The quintessence ghoul snapped a quick picture of Mountain grinning at a bunch of flowers and sent it to Dewdrop.
Awaiting a reply, he turned back to the little ghoul, “Wanna stay here with your snowdrops or do something else? We’ve got a few hours before it gets cold.”
“Hmmm…” Mountain thought. “Can we stay?”
“Of course, sapling. You shouldn’t sit on the ground, though. I’ll get someone to bring us a blanket, okay?”
“Okay,” the earth ghoul smiled up at Aether and got back to staring at his flowers. Aether picked his phone back up to do as he said, just in time for Dewdrop’s reply to the picture to come through.
D: hes so cute
A: wanna know what he said about the flowers?
D: sure
A: that they remind him of you. he keeps staring at them just smiling
D: it should be illegal being this sweet
D: how am i supposed to keep up my tough guy persona when all i wanna do is coo over him
A: speaking of which. wanna bring us a blanket so he doesnt sit on that stone? you can coo over him then
D: omw
Aether put down his phone after that, focusing back on Mountain who hadn't moved an inch. One of his hands was loosely laying on the wet ground, fingertips slightly digging in. The quintessence ghoul remembered a conversation they once had, about the earth’s heartbeat and how Mountain could feel it and that he really enjoyed it.
Aether was happy that he was happy, the winter was slowly melting away—literally—and the earth ghoul’s exhaustion and anxiety went with it, just as every single year.
“Aeth?” he spoke up at some point, tilting his head in the quintessence ghoul’s direction.
“Yeah, sapling?”
“I wish you could hear the earth,” he said, humming and looking back down. “‘cause it's a bit like me and… if you heard it you would feel my… my… uhm… m’ sorry.”
“Oh, it’s okay love. The word escaped you?” Mountain nodded, blushing high on his cheeks. He was a sophisticated and well spoken little guy, but words in english tended to run away from him sometimes.
“It’s… I mean– meant meleth,” he explained, using the ghoulish word.
“Ah.” Aether scooted closer to him and brought an arm around him, encouraging the little earth ghoul to lean against his side. And so Mountain did, resting his head on the other’s shoulder and starting to purr quietly. “That would be love in english, sapling.”
“Yeah,” Mountain confirmed.
“What would be love?” they heard from behind them and they both turned, seeing Dewdrop with an armful of a thick blanket. The earth ghoul grinned, eyes bright and escaped Aether’s embrace to run into the fire ghoul’s. “Hi, rosey.”
“Hi, mama,” Mountain mumbled as Dewdrop squeezed him in a hug. Aether took the blanket from him and laid it out by the little patch of flowers. The other two sat down on it, but, to the fire and quintessence ghouls’ surprise, Mountain peeled himself off of Dewdrop and crawled over to Aether. His tail wrapped around Dewdrop’s forearm, but he planted himself in Aether’s lap.
“Alright, then,” the fire ghoul smiled, not taking even an ounce of offense. “Tell me all about the snowdrops, rosey.”
And Mountain did.

How about CG!Paimon with Little!Venti?
I'm just trying to think of things atp (っ˘̩╭╮˘̩)っ
I think you're busy with stuff rn tho, so I don't expect you to do it rn, dw!
Of course! Cw: Diapers, Trauma, Physical Injuries
Tumblr media
Aether is nonverbal and a very small little one! 0-4
Often using diapers on his days off due to being in pain due to injuries he's sustained from hilichurls and the abyss, It's just easier for him!
Paimon keeps a change for him in a little bag she carries around for him! New pants, a Diaper, Ect!
Paimon may be small, but boy is she STRONG. She can pick up Aether relatively easily; Getting him changed with little to no problem!
Paimon often shifts to her bigger form to care for him so she can carry him for longer!
Paimon has a playlist for Aether if he's having trouble being tiny! Having a couple of really cute songs! - When I was your man - Bruno Mars - Court Jester - Fukase - World's smallest Violin - AJR -Don't throw out my Lego's - AJR ^ Lots of songs like these! They're kinda sad, but Aether loves them!
Often limping about due to back pain or Pain in his legs from getting hurt due to the abyss order.
Having night terrors of the abyss hurting Lumine and then waking up and crying that she Joined the very thing He was fighting against.
Often having periods of psychosis/ derealisation thinking he is Lumine, which in the end causes him to slip hard, and on those days, all he wants is Lumine..
Often sobbing if he has an accident while Little, If he's big he just freezes which prompts Paimon to get him the F out of there to save face

Nikke absolutely blew me away with their anni event like, excuse me who put all this trauma and pain in my horny gacha I was only here for the boobs!!! Jk jk I was aware from the start Nikke has a good story despite the horny reputation but this anni event still highly impressed me I love it! I'm halfway through chp 11 in main story so I'm pretty sure I got spoiled of a lot of stuff from future chapters and the infamous Red Ash event, but I'm glad I was able to understand most things as everything was shown really well and I still felt very emotional over Cinderella's story 🥺
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cinderella is so well written I was in tears in so many moments. I could tell the twist with Red Shoes coming but it still hit so hard when it was revealed due to how raw and terrifying it was, the voice acting was spectacular (jp dub at least) and the cgs + ending animation.... Holy hell everything was awesome I haven't felt this way over a game since hi3 pt 1 ended. This honestly puts so many other gacha annis to shame (exceptions being ptn and aether gazer from the ones I play), the anni rewards also kept pouring in I was overwhelmed by all the generosity lmao.
Another one who took me by surprise was Abe aka Grave, now I'm not aware what happened that she became Grave but I loved her as Abe she was so unhinged and real like yesss fcking badass. Siren, Hansel and Gretel were also good side characters and I hope to have them playable someday (again idk what their condition is in the present storyline). Cinderella is top tier waifu man I wish I could get her new costume but oh well, still glad to have her nevertheless. 10/10 anni event I'm hella excited for more of this game
