Firstly I stumbled upon your blog and I love it so much. I just started getting into Genshin Impact so while I may no know all of the characters I find that the ones I do know your writing is so comforting.

Secondly I was wondering if I could request a mini fic with regressor Aether. Bit of an angst idea here, Aether overworking and over tired, regressing without realizing and it takes Venti telling him to stop and take a break and that he will look watch over him for Aether to realize just how much he needs one

First of all- it's been a while since my last minific, I know...I've just not been fully motivated to write in general because I'm generally busy with exams this month but thank for for your nice comments !!! waking up this morning to like, 20+ notifications of one person liking my blog is GENUINELY insane so thank you hehe <3

With the addition of the Serenitea Pot, Aether's life should've gotten way more easier.

With Paimon out at Wanmin Restaurant for the day, and his adventures on a halt to catch his breath after saving yet another nation, it's safe to say he had nothing to do. The first few hours of his day were dedicated to cleaning. He cooked for what little people rested at the teapot the previous night, the bookshelves were clean, and he was positive that any more attempts to clean and dust would make him go insane.

He could feel a tantrum bubbling in his core- a trait which only happened when he was regressed and angry about something big. But...he felt big now. He had to be big- and being regressed was stupid, anyways.

"Yahoo, Traveller!" a cheery voice called out. It was Venti. After a few seconds, he descended the stairway, and wrapped Aether in a hug. That hug did not help him remain big. Aether hugged the bard back, albeit a bit clumsily. "How are you today? Where is your little travelling companion?"

Aether huffed, but it really sounded more like a whine. It hadn't been good. "Paimon is at Wanmin, an' i got nothin' to do..."

Venti hummed in confusion. "That sounds like a bad thing."

"It is!" Aether whined. "I wan' do stuff, but m' tired..."

"Then you should nap, silly!" Venti said. "Or...is there something else going on?"

Aether stared at the floor as if it held the secrets to giving his sister back- that's all he wanted from this world- Lumine. Sure, he had a stuffed animal upstairs called Lumine, but he still wanted the real thing back. When she came back, he'd hug her tight, and never let her go, ever.

Well, that was an exaggerated statement- restricting his sister's freedom would never happen, but he was small, and everything felt floaty and too exaggerated for him to think right.

"Small." he mumbled, wrapping his arms around him. He didn't even know if Venti knew what regression was- and if he did, Aether expected to be yelled at, and-

"Oh, you're a kiddo right now?" he cooed. "Hello, sweet thing!"

Aether glanced at Venti, gasping- almost similiar to how a toddler would. Granted, he felt younger than that right now, but still. "You know...regression?"

Venti nodded, a soft smile on his lips. "Diluc helps me be small, butttttt it seems like you need some help relaxing, yes?"

"Mhm!" he nodded. "Been workin' super duper hard!" he giggled, trying his best to stifle a yawn. "Hard to do nothin'...feel bad."

"Well, let's talk about being overworked when you're much bigger, hm?"

Aether nodded, watching curiously as Venti bent down to Aether's level. "Now, do you want to snuggle up in your room and relax-" he held out his left hand. "Or do you want to have a picnic outside?" with that, he held out his right hand. "Your decision, kiddo. You can even nap if you want."

Aether dwelled on the question. He had...an option? And none of them had him doing overwhelming combat for horrible pay? Quietly, Aether held Venti's left hand, using his free hand to suck on his hand. With a giggle, Venti lifted Aether up, letting him rest on his hip.

"Well, let's go!" he smiled. "Maybe you can introduce me to your stuffies, hm?"

the sound of the front door opened followed by a bell that rung whenever someone came inside the small cabined house. Venti opened the door gently, making his presence known before he made it fully inside of the house. He closed the door gently behind him; automatically assuming that you were already asleep by now. He made his way through the house while the only noise was heard was his gentle foot creaks and the tv in the background. His hair was messy and he smelled like sweet honey and a splash of dust. "Daddy!" A small voice was heard from the room he just passed by. His eyes widened a bit before he turned to see his little one peeking from the doorway. You held your favorite blanket and stuffed animal tightly in your arms, looking up to see an unreadable expression from his face. His face softened immediately before crouching down to his knees, opening his arms up for his little. You caught the cue and ran with open arms to your caregiver. Wrapping your tiny arms around him, he did the same as he snaked his arms gently around your figure. A moment of silence passed between the two of you, before he pulled away a little to see your face. "Hey, firefly.. why are you up so late..?" He asked quietly. He looked up the clock from across the hallway. You looked up at him with some tears threatening to escape your tear ducts. "...I missed you.." you said simply, buring your face into his shoulder. Another few of seconds pass before venti let out a gentle sigh. Gently kissed the top of your head, rubbing your back in a sense of reassuring you. "..it's okay little one. Do you wanna sleep with daddy?" He asked, looking down at you. Once he saw the nod of confirmation, he picked you up slowly and letting you rest in his arms before he made his way into the bedroom.

He sat you down on the bed, making sure you're as comfortable as possible. After you get covered up, he slipped into the bed next to you, cuddling you to his chest. He rubbed the back of your head, resting his chin on your head. "..I love you papa.." you whispered, burying your head into his chest, hearing his slow.. gentle heartbeats.

"...I love you too. My little star.. sleep well.."

he's probably clingy while big, yeah it gets amplified while small. he's stuck to you like a slime

oh my gosh he loves humming and making little tunes while regressed. please remind him to be careful with his lyre. (even if his fingers have gotten used to the strings, don't want em to get cut even a small bit! plus the concern makes him feel all giddy n fuzzy) probably has a flute and some sort of bell set :(

d'you think he draws how he looked like when he was a wind spirit? keep memory of his past self before he took his current form. probably draws other woodland creatures, a seelie every now and then

sleeps better when he knows you're there but usually has nightmares or doesn't sleep for long increments (either that or sleeps for 10 hours at a time)

loves hide n seek, his favorite game other than playing any music related games (if u can't find him and it takes to long he starts giving u hints. little tunes being whistled, thr magical chime of a bell carried by the wind and melodic giggles that follow)

definitely drinks less but he knows if he does relapse he can come to you

very very talkative, atp consider him an info dumper. though he loves knowing he has ur attention. he's ramble about anything and everything. especially different alcohols, taste profiles, etc.

CG!Diluc and Little!Venti

(venti getting overwhelmed in angel's share, and dadluc coming to the bard's aid.)

-aka a small draft I cooked up because I couldn't sleep.

Venti was never really one to be...quiet. it was an odd sight to see at the main bar of Angel's Share - Venti being completely silent. Usually he was up and about, yelling at other patrons across the bar, or playing his ballads, which would undoubtedly gain him a crowd and a half. A crowd for the fellow in green meant simply one thing:

Wine.

The bard would ask for payment in glasses of wine and only the richest apples, which he would snack on during his breaks.

But not tonight. For the entire night was his break.

Diluc finished serving a table, glancing at the other, who was slumped over his barside, quiet as a mouse. Not a single glass has been by his side all night, and he'd gotten to the tavern half an hour ago. Usually, not ordering or drinking anything would give Diluc the right to kick him out, but he could tell something was wrong.

"Venti." He simply said. "Are you okay?"

The bard in question forces a smile on his face, looking up at the man. "Why, of course." His voice is dead, long gone from this realm. Usually, he's cheery, but it was probably a facade.

"Do you want a drink?"

He simply nods, ordering apple juice, to his suprise.

Hours pass, and he seems to get worse. More patrons leave, and as the night progresses and more alcohol finally hits people's bodies, it gets louder. People start to yell, and there's a fight or two between people that doesn't escalate much, but Venti can see blood.

With the sight of the crimson dripping onto the wooden floorboards of the tavern, he leaves. It wasn't a lot, most likely sourced from a nosebleed, but he's seen enough blood in his lifetime. The door clicks behind him, and not a single patrons notices.

But Diluc does.

When Venti's able to calm down, he slips to the side of the building, and silently cries. It doesn't take Diluc two minutes to follow the sound, and find the other.

"Luc..." He coughs out. Diluc slips himself next to him, and he can't help but feel worry and concern course through his mind.

"I'm here, kiddo." He says. The 'kiddo' part wasn't really intentional, as he had cared for Kaeya a few days ago, and his brain was probably still in 'Caregiver' mode. Curses. "How do you feel, Venti?"

He sniffles, hardly able to get words out. "Fuzzy....an'...an' I wan' it to go away. But it won't...". He manages. "Am I dyin', Diluc?"

Diluc shakes his head. "You're not dying. Did the blood upset you?" Seemingly, he's attempting to change the subject.

"mhm." Venti nods, wiping his eyes on his sleeve. "I saw a lot of blood in th' Archon War. Blood is scary."

Diluc nods, offering his hand to the other. "I understand. War is scary, kiddo. You're so brave for going through that." Diluc is simply just testing the waters. He knows that Venti is the Anemo Archon, and that he's lived through almost 3000 years. He's sure to have seen things which have left him unsettled and traumatized no doubt.

Something that a mortal like him can hardly comprehend. But still, he tried to help.

"mhm. Had to hurt people, but I didn't wanna-" Venti choked out, curling up into Diluc's side in order to not burst out crying in the middle of the street.

"You said you felt fuzzy earlier, yes?"

Venti nods. "it happens sometimes, an' I don't know why. My brain just goes all..weird."

"and how do you make it stop, Venti? Have you found a way?'

He nods. "Sometimes I just get blankets and wrap them 'round myself. Sometimes it just goes away after a bit."

"you could be experiencing age regression, Venti."

The bard falls into silence once more. "What's that? Is it good...?"

"it depends how you look at it. It's when you feel like a kid again, and do kid things. There's a few things it's linked to, such as stress or PTSD." Judging by the fact that Venti's an archon, not to mention an old archon at that, he suggests that Venti has some form of PTSD, or maybe even some sort of survivor's guilt. But, he puts that aside and carries on for now. "Sometimes people can feel mentally young, and they do activities like that. They use items like pacifiers, teethers, bottles, you know?"

Venti shakes his head. "Never been a kid. You're just sayin' words."

Diluc chuckles, realising that he's right. "You're right. Just...try sucking on your thumb, it might help with your thoughts."

Venti nods, doing just that. He finds himself cooing and chirping at the feeling,

"you can chirp?" Diluc questions.

Venti nods. "Mhm. Wisp."

"ah, okay. Do you want to go back to your place tonight, or do you want-"

Diluc cuts himself off, as he feels Venti crawling into his lap. "No leaving me."

With a chuckle once more, he scoops the other up with an exaggerated grunt, resting the younger against his chest. "To the winery, I suppose."

Diluc trusts that Venti won't sneak to the basement and get himself intoxicated beyond relief, as he's probably very deep in his headspace, judging by the fact that his thumb hasn't left his mouth, and every single shiny thing under the night's sky seems to catch his attention.

Venti eventually settled into his shoulder, putting like a cat as he dozes off. Diluc lets him, making sure they he is safe and content before walking to the winery. He's sure to get the other fed and clothes, perhaps with a stuffed animal, too.

The thought of the bard being homeless passes his mind, but decides to leave that until Venti is much...bigger in headspace.

Venti with a chubby darling who’s slightly taller than him. To the point his head reaches their chest (boob height). Whenever he’s upset or stressed he just kneads his darlings chest like a cat making biscuits or shoves his face right in between them. If you ever sit down on the ground he will lay his head on your lap like a cat. He is basically cat brained.

you don’t need to be taller than him your chest is simply his pillow forever now. honestly venti 100% a bit of a chubby chaser (and also i just can’t help thinking he’s a bit of a milf-guy too. likes them to be sweet cooing caregiver types). if you are a sad repressed unfulfilled housewife in mondstadt eventually the silver-tongued bard will start mooning over you.

Thinking about caregiver Venti with what essentially boils down to baby fever, being Aether's main caregiver. Who can check up on his little one and tell how he is doing by the wind that travels across Teyvat no matter how far away they are. So knowing Aether's is okay, and sending long distance messages to him, letters, small gifts and pressed flowers, and the duo come back to Mondstadt frequently and more times than not Aether regresses almost instantly once reaching the city of freedom and Venti gets to spoil his little star and make up for all the time apart.

But when he's gone for a long time caregiver mode just consumes Venti a little bit and he just wants to hold his baby, coo at the little and wrap him up tightly in a mountain of blankets and keep safe from the world. To listen to his little one tell about his adventures, and go apple picking, and bother Diluc for apple juice, and take him to get food and buy him gifts and toys from local stores- and he just can't, and it's killing him.

Also taking out this frustration by unintentionally babying his friends. Like fussing over Kaeya and if he's eaten anything in the past day before heading straight to Angels' share. Crashing into Jean's office and forcing the woman to take a break. Pestering Diluc until he's convinced that the tavern master has had enough sleep between long work shifts and dark knight hero business.

Aether: Hard little lean, 4-6 age range, Paimon and Xiao are main caregivers.

Lumine: Slight caregiver lean from taking care of her brother, 3-5 age range, Dainsleif her only caregiver.

Jean: Caregiver, tried regressing and she just didn't like it, she doesn't have a designated little but watches over anyone regressed around her.

Lisa: Razor’s caregiver, will watch over whoever she has to but sticks to Razor mostly.

Amber: She usually gets littles just dropped off with her, she will take them on adventures until their caregivers come for them.

Noelle: Noelle has watched over littles a few times but is nobody's caregiver, she tried regression and now does it occasionally to rest, 0-2 age range.

Barbara: Barbra doesn't understand littles much but doesn't mind when they're dropped off for a bit.

Sucrose: Sucrose is a puppy regressor, Albedo is her main caregiver but Jean and Lisa also watch her although she doesn't regress often.

Fiscle: Very clingy little and loves being carried about, Oz watches over her, 2-4 age range, usually with Razor and Bennet for playdates.

Mona: Mona has only regressed a few times but when she does she's very small and stays isolated in her house, 0-2 age range and very bratty, Kaeya comes in to check on her occasionally and will make sure she sleeps.

Kaeya: He checks in on Mona and Fischl a lot as a big brother caregiver, 8-10 age range, Albedo and Jean usually leave him be ‘cause he's very independent but he usually ends up with Rosaria watching him while he plays.

Diluc: He just watches over whoever shows up and needs help, def goes batman on anyone who upsets the littles, he gives his maids days off if he sees one of them slipping.

Razor: A little wolf regressor, of Lisa isn't there to come get him Andrius will keep him safe from any harm or take him to Bennett, he's very chaotic and messier than usual.

Bennett: Bennett used to just watch over Razor and Fishcl but ended up trying regression, he doesn't have a caregiver and is always just with Fischl, Razor or both and stays with them to play, 6-8 age range.

Ningguang: Has no fucking clue how to deal with littles but Beidou has dropped Kazuha off before and she just threw some money and chaperone at him so he could go shopping.

Beidou: Kazuha caregiver and only Kazuha's caregiver, she won't let him out of her sight and keeps him on the boat.

Kequing: Kequing is a partial regressor, she goes half and half between normal and cat like but never fully kitty so she doesn't need and has no caregiver.

Xiangling: Doesn't fully understand the littles but loves to cook for whoever she's watching until the caregiver comes.

Chongyun: Very small regressor, Xingqui is his main caretaker and he's a very nonverbal baby, 0-2 age range, regresses often.

Xingqiu: Chongyun's caregiver, regresses a few times in playdates with chongyun but mostly watches over him, 5-7 age range.

Qiqi: Can't regress cause she is already a kid, she writes down all about littles so she can remember and follows them around, making sure to get them to their caregivers.

Venti: Baby regressor, has been watched by a lot of caretakers, regresses rarely but when he does he needs to be watched or he'll get into trouble or get hurt.

Klee: Gets the little's into trouble and solitary confinement constantly, she loves hanging out with littles cause there's not many kids who wanna hang out with her.

Ajax: Only regresses when he's very stressed, Zonghli watches him when it happens.

Diona: Avoids all puppy regressors but doesn't mind hanging out with kids.

Zonghli: Hu Tao's main caregiver but sometimes watches over Ajax or Bihazu.

Xinyan: Usually hangs out with chongyun when regressed, doesn't regress often but Yunjin checks in randomly.

Albedo: Hard caregiver lean, almost never regresses, has nobody to watch him while small but kinda wishes he does, 7-10 age range, very much a big brother caregiver.

Ganyu: Sleepy goat regressor, Xianyun checks in but all she does is sleep and cuddle a plush.

Xiao: He will not take care of any little other than Aether cause he's too scared to upset a little, 4-7 age range, tried to keep it a secret but Zonghli found out and insists on taking care of him.

Hu tao: She babysits Xiao occasionally but it usually ends up as a playdate, 7-10 age range, regresses a LOT and is not trusted without supervision.

Rosaria: Babysits Kaeya and a few others but usually stays out of little business.

Yanfei: She's babysitted a few littles but isn't anyone's caregiver and doesn't know too much about littles.

Eula: Has no fucking clue about anything about littles and wants nothing to do with any of them when small cause she doesn't know what to do with them.

Ayaka: Sweetest little ever, always follows what she's told, 3-7 age range, Thoma and Yoimiya are her main caregivers and Ayato is her babysitter.

Yoimiya: Always takes her littles to make custom fireworks! Takes her little everywhere and takes very good care of them, always forgets nap time though.

Sayu: Will take naps with littles but other than that she stays away, she's too tired.

Raiden: BANNED.

Sara: Hates taking care of littles so she just doesn't.

Kokomi: Sweet little, her and Gourou take turns watching each other or having playdates, 7-9 age range.

Thoma: Literally best caregiver around, cooks, cleans, good with kids, this male wife has my heart and all the littles, he has experience with some littles in Mondstadt.

Itto: Dumb asf and does not understand the littles but by god does him and the gang keep the little safe until they can find their caregiver.

Gourou: Puppy regressor, only regressed when stressed but very messy when regressed.

Shenhe: Wants nothing to do with any littles but if she ever cracks she would be stuck in baby space for a few days under Xi'anyuns care.

Yunjin: Sweet babysitter, only watches littles for a few hours at most.

Yae: Banned. She was such a bitch to a little and she's not allowed anymore.

Ayato: He regresses sometimes, sometimes watches Ayaka, 3-5 age range.

Yelan: Couldn't care less about littles.

Kuki: Noise sensitive when little, 7-9 age range, just follows the gang when she's little cause she can't always find Heizou, very sweet babysitter.

Heizou: Kuki's main caregiver, doesn't take care of any other littles and usually isn't around when she's small so the gang comes and gets him.

Tighnari: Loves taking his littles on nature walks and teaching them stuff, very strict on naptimes and making sure they regress regularly if they need it, Collei and Cyno are his only littles.

Collie: Quiet and sleepy regressor, very impure regression, 3-5 age range.

Dori: Tried to scam a little and is not banned from seeing anybody small.

Cyno: Can go months without regressing, less talkative and makes less jokes when little, prefers to stay inside but likes nature walks too, 5-7 age range.

Candace: Mother caregiver, watches over Dehya or whoever asks her to.

Nilou: Little and kitty regressor, 4-7 age range, hardly ever regresses but she's sweet and independent when she does.

Nahida: Scara's caregiver and watches over Layla too, doesn't care if she's mom or big sister or whatever, she just wants to make her littles happy.

Layla: Sleepy pup and little regressor, 3-8 age range, loves to nap and color when small, she hangs out with Scara when small.

Scara: Bratty and unpredictable little, gets into trouble when Nahida isn't watching him, 7-10 age range, always in timeout.

Faruzan: Doesn't care, will watch them if she has to but doesn't really care.

Alhethem: Severely noise sensitive when small, usually independent but Kaveh keeps an eye on him, he just likes to stay inside and read, 10-12 age range.

Yao Yao: Never got really told what a little is but was told to help Qiqi find Zonghli if Bihazu or Hu tao is acting weird.

Dehya: Rare for her to regress, usually a partial kitty regressor, loves makeup when small, 8-13 age range, oldest of them all.

Mika: Not trusted after falling for Klee's antics one too many times.

Bihzhu: Watches over actual kids, rare for him to regress but he does when his illness is really kicking his ass, Changsheng always helps him get somewhere calm and safe and gets Qiqi to get a caregiver.

Kaveh: Keeps an eye on Alheithem, regresses when he's really stressed, says he doesn't need a caregiver but Alheithem insists, 3-5 age range, pillow princess.

Kirara: Independent kitty regressor, runs around all of Teyvat just having fun when she's regressed, any box is now her nap place.

Lyney: Doesn't regress too much but him and Lynette take turns watching each other and Freminette, 1-4 age range, not very high maintenance but should definitely be kept an eye on.

Lynette: Kitty and little regressor, nonverbal and really just wants to nap the whole time, 2-3 age range, does not like interacting with people and will give you the side eye if you piss her off.

Freminette: Very common for him to regress and if he goes too long without it it messes with him, quieter than usual regressor, he's almost always underwater when it happens and goes to find his siblings or father after.

Neuvillette: Watches wrio and furina and regresses only when alone, very low maintenance and trustworthy little, 3-5 age range, regresses bi weekly.

Wriothesley: An older regressor, loves to color, Seigewinne and Neuvilette watch over him, but he doesn't regress too much.

Furina: Puppy and toddler regressor, can be a bit bratty but nothing Neuvilette can't handle, 3-5 age range, she can't watch over littles without regressing so it doesn't end well, impure regression is common for her and she regresses every few days.

Charlotte: Banned from seeing littles after trying to make a news article on it.

Navia: Big sister caregiver! Absolute sweetheart and bakes for her littles all the time, makes flower crowns and whatever her little wants to do she'll make it happen.

Chevruse: Just doesn't really care.

Cloud retainer: Keeps a close eye on Ganyu and Shenhe but doesn't really keep an eye on any other littles but if Ga-ming comes to her she'll step in immediately.

Ga-ming: Keeps an eye on whatever little he can and is always willing to help out, an older regressor and occasionally a pup regressor, struggles to take care of himself when small, so tries to find Xianyun or someone willing to take care of him, never lets go of his dog companion.

Chiori: If a little is left with her she'll take them to the cafe, get some sweets and find their caregiver, if she can't find the caregiver she'll leave them to watch her work while they talk until she puts them down for a nap.

Arlecchino: Will not take care of any kids other than her own.

Chloride: Just doesn't really wanna take care of littles.

Seigewinne: Takes care of Wrio only, very much a mom caregiver and very overprotective.

Sethos: CLUELESS.

Emile: Helps out but isn't too good at watching littles long-term.

Mualani: Kinich is her only little, very outdoorsy caregiver and will take them for rides on sharky, and hot spring breaks after.

Kachina: Helps find Mualani for Kinich, shares her rocks with him and is good at helping out.

Kinich: Baby regressor, not trusted alone, Ajaw usually steps off when he regresses but if Mualani isn't there he'll help Kinich find her, 1-5 age range.

Xilonen: Makes littles gifts for the road, doesn't mind watching them for a little while when they need a break or the caregiver is busy.

Chaska: Just doesn't know what a regressor is.

Mavuika: Kinich's mom, cannon.

Citlali: She may be a granny but she's so little coded, never lets go of her plush when small and doesn't need a caregiver, she doesn't mind watching littles tho, 7-9 age range.

-paimon wouldn't mind when he does that

-enjoys when venti's music and will sometimes try to play his lyre

-always has a pacifier in his mouth

He was on his way to Windrise, a place of tranquility where he often went to clear his mind and play his lyre under the great oak tree

But today, Venti's usual routine took a different turn. As he arrived at the statue of the Seven, he noticed Aether sitting beneath it, looking unusually small and immediately went out to him

"Aether ?" Venti called softly, approaching with gentle steps "Are you alright, my friend ?"

Aether looked up, and Venti could see the shift in his eyes. The confident traveler seemed to have age regressed, slipping into a childlike state, no, even younger, almost like a baby! Venti's heart melted at the sight

"Aww, Aether," Venti whispered, crouching down to meet his eyes. "You look like you need some extra care today ! "

Aether's response was a small babble, his eyes looked in trust. Venti chuckled softly, the sound like the tinkling of wind chimes

"Come here, little one," Venti said, reaching out his arms. Aether instinctively reached back, and Venti scooped him up effortlessly. "Let’s find a nice, cozy spot where we can relax"

With Aether cradled securely in his arms, Venti made his way to Windrise. The journey was swift, the winds seemingly aiding the bard in his mission to bring comfort to his little one. Arriving at the large oak tree, Venti settled down on the soft grass, positioning Aether in his lap.

"Now, what does my little sunshine need?" Venti asked, brushing a strand of hair from Aether’s forehead. Aether’s tiny hand reached up, grasping at Venti’s fingers

With a gentle touch, Venti pulled out his lyre, its strings shimmering in the dappled sunlight. "How about a lullaby?" he suggested, his voice soft and melodic

Aether’s eyes widened with curiosity and he gurgled in delight. Taking that as a yes, Venti began to strum, the music flowing like a gentle breeze, soothing and calming

As he played, Venti kept his eyes on Aether, watching as the young traveler’s eyelids and smile grew heavy. The music seemed to work its magic, and soon Aether was nodding off, a peaceful expression on his face

Once Aether was sound asleep, Venti carefully laid him down on a blanket he had brought with him. He sat beside the sleeping boy, watching over him protectively. The bard’s usual carefree demeanor was replaced with a tender guardianship, his every movement and expression filled with care

"Rest well, my little one," Venti whispered, his voice barely audible over the rustle of leaves. "The winds will always guide and protect you"

As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the land, Venti continued to watch over Aether. The traveler, now regressed to an innocent state, found peace and safety in the his care.
