Quietly losing my mind over the fact that Elon Musk has straight up orchestrated a coup of our executive branch and like....I don't even know what, if any, system we have in place to fix this. been unemployed for a few months. decide to scroll thru linkedin for a change. first thing i see are some sponsored posts saying stuff like "the job we posted yesterday had 625 applications in the first hour. heres how to stand out!" then came across 2 different posts from the employer that laid me off with reused graphics i designed for them a year ago. the executives i still have friended are practically sucking each other off in the comments of their posts talking about how much they improved the 2024 budget (by laying people off) i go to the suggested jobs list. it shows me 1 job posting and the rest are behind a subscription paywall. i go to my fridge. i open a beer.

I did see a unreformed They're The Same person the other day on here mocking someone posting that we wouldn't be worrying about this if Kamala Harris was President and like. Yes. I am reasonably sure I would not be worrying about the closure of the Department of Education & the President trying to invade Greenland if Kamala Harris was President. It does in fact seem a lot less stressful if she was in charge
