Justin Horowitz at MMFA:
Project 2025 advisory board members have attacked or outright called for the end of no-fault divorce, the option to dissolve a marriage without having to prove wrongdoing by a partner. Research highlighted by CNN found “no-fault divorce correlates with a reduction in female suicides and a reduction in intimate partner violence,” including “an 8 to 16% decrease in female suicides after states enacted no-fault divorce laws.” Project 2025 is backed by a nearly-900 page policy book called Mandate for Leadership, which extensively outlines potential approaches to governance for the next Republican administration, including replacing federal employees with extremists and Trump loyalists and attacking LGBTQ rights, abortion, and contraception. The Heritage Foundation’s proposals have a track record of success — the first Trump administration implemented 64% of Mandate’s policy recommendations. Project 2025 is also supported by a coalition of over 100 conservative organizations, many of which have spent years promoting critiques of no-fault divorce as “destructive” for society — or even blaming it for enabling a “culture of death.” According to a Media Matters review, at least 22 Project 2025 advisory board members have made similar comments targeting, restricting, or eliminating no-fault divorce. Additionally, MAGA and far-right media figures have pushed for the removal of no-fault divorce laws across the country, and several local Republican parties in Texas, Nebraska, and Louisiana have called for the dissolution of no-fault divorce in some capacity.
Project 2025 partner organizations, including the American Family Association, Concerned Women for America, Family Research Council, and The Heritage Foundation, have called for significant restrictions or an outright ban on no-fault divorce.

Thinking about. Stanley Pines. Once summer, not long after Weirdmaggedon. Sitting in his seat, staring at the tv but realising slowly he's not really watching TV, he's listening.
Listening to Soos, taking a tour group around the Shack, his voice confident and happy, eagerly telling tourists all kinds of tall tales. Soos, with his young son strapped to his chest, held close and dear to his heart, always knowing he is loved and wanted by his father.
Listening to Wendy and Melody, laughter turning to deeper conversations in the gift shop as Wendy pours out her latest dating drama and Melody listens sympathetically--not quite a mother, but an older sister figure is all Wendy wants at the moment.
Listening to a distant boom coming from the basement, a cause for some concern that fades quickly as three peals of laughter follow soon after. One deep and familiar, as comforting and close as the sound of a ship's motor and the open sea. One young and high, cracking with adolescent awkwardness. One loud and cackling, a hint of madness never quite leaving it but more settled than it used to be. And Stan figures it's probably time to send someone down to drag Ford, Dipper and McGucket upstairs before they forget what light is and get too nerdy.
Besides it's nearly dinner time, and he's listening to Mabel's steady, unrelenting chatter in the kitchen, punctuated by a few grunts of acknowledgment from Abuelita as they prepare a meal.
And Stan feels a strange, unusual sensation wash over him, something he hasn't felt for over half a lifetime, by a boat on a beach. A sensation of contentment, of security, of peace. And he realises that if he stood up and walked into any one of the rooms in the Shack he would be greeted with smiles and faces lighting up to see him and cheerful cries of his name.
And he looks down at the darned pig sleeping beside his chair and things, with oddly misty eyes, that he spent thirty years trying to find his brother again. And he succeeded--but somehow, he got more than that. He had formed around him, without even realising it, a family.

mmm throwaway conversation between Dan and Danny that popped into my head that I had to write out:
"You spent ten years being a one-man mass extinction event, then went back in time and fought me, and lost." Danny snarls, arms crossed and throat tight. His mouth pulls back to bare dagger-sharp teeth, and his eyes burn with the familiar thrum of ectoplasm heating up behind his eyes. "If I didn't believe you were half of Vlad before, I do now."
His other self -- and really, can he even call him that? He's half of Vlad too. Two halves severed from each other and welded together to make a new whole, -- snaps his head over to him. Wild-eyed and furious, he looks unlike the man Danny fought before, the one unruffled and untouched, unbothered by the world around him. It's familiar, but not like the way a reflection is.
"What's that supposed to mean." The Other hisses, matching Danny's scowl one-for-one with fangs much bigger and sharper than his.
But there's a reason lions fear hyenas. Danny matches the rumble in The Other's chest with one of his own, and shoves his face close to his. "I don't lose."

Prompt 68
Danny stares up up up at the being cooing down at him, a mass of eyes and tendrils and whatever else twisting in and out of portals, shattering to sand and reforming, buckling into a smaller shape and expanding in an ever moving form. This was not what he was expecting when Clockwork offered to introduce him to Chaos, but maybe he shouldn’t be so surprised.
Bonus DPxDC crossover: Clockwork introduced his lil baby ghostling to his old friend Chaos so they can set up playdates between their two kids. Klarion and Teekl are now being spotted with a white-haired boy and a green puppy that can go giant and monstrous like Teekle, to Young Justice’s (And the league’s) concern

Effective Strategies for Improving Family Dynamics
Strong and healthy relationships within families are crucial for the overall well-being and happiness of each individual. The Center for Families and Relationships recognizes the importance of cultivating positive family dynamics and offers valuable resources to support families in building and maintaining strong bonds.
Identifying common challenges in family dynamics
youtube
Family dynamics play a crucial role in shaping our relationships, communication patterns, and overall well-being. However, navigating these dynamics can sometimes present challenges that require understanding, empathy, and effective problem-solving. In this article, we will discuss common challenges in family dynamics and explore strategies to address them.
1. Communication Issues
One of the most common challenges in family dynamics is communication problems. Communication issues can arise due to various factors such as misunderstandings, different communication styles, or unresolved conflicts. It is important to create an open and safe space for family members to express their thoughts and feelings. Active listening, empathy, and practicing effective communication techniques can help overcome these challenges.
2. Conflict and Disagreements
Conflict is inevitable in any family, but how it is handled can make a significant difference. Unresolved conflicts can lead to tension, resentment, and strained relationships. It is important to address conflicts in a healthy and constructive manner. This may involve setting boundaries, practicing effective conflict resolution techniques, and seeking professional help if necessary.
3. Role and Responsibility Imbalance
Family dynamics often involve different roles and responsibilities assigned to each member. However, imbalances in these roles can lead to tension and resentment. It is important to have open discussions about expectations, responsibilities, and boundaries within the family. Recognizing and valuing each family member's contributions can help foster a sense of equity and harmony.
4. Life Transitions
Life transitions such as marriage, divorce, birth of a child, or loss of a loved one can significantly impact family dynamics. These transitions can cause stress, uncertainty, and shifts in roles and relationships. During such times, it is crucial to provide support, understanding, and open communication to navigate these changes successfully.
5. Cultural and Generational Differences
Family dynamics can be influenced by cultural and generational differences. These differences can lead to misunderstandings, conflicts, and challenges in finding common ground. Embracing diversity, practicing cultural sensitivity, and fostering open-mindedness can help bridge these gaps and promote understanding within the family.
When facing challenges in family dynamics, seeking support from organizations such as the Center for Families and Relationships can be beneficial. The Center provides resources, counseling services, and workshops to help families navigate these challenges effectively. Their expertise and guidance can offer valuable insights and strategies to improve family dynamics and promote healthier relationships.

I haven’t read these books in years WHAT is the angel fetuses. What is happening
LMAO yeah there's actually been three instances where Warrior Cats made fetuses into StarClan characters. We're joking about Moonpaw's absorbed fetus twin (Starpaw/The Voice) meeting with Clear Sky's first dead wife's unborn kids.
The first time they did this was in the last book of DOTC, on Gray Wing's deathbed. Bright Stream, last seen in early pregnancy and being carried off by eagles to be gruesomely eaten alive, shows up accompanied by Tiger Tail and Pale Sky. Her embryos.
Because they show up in this big fanservicey montauge of all DOTC's fridged wives happily living as eternal mothers in StarClan, I sardonically call them the Dead Angel Fetus Children.
(It's dark humor to cope with how much the concept freaks me out)
And with Moonpaw, I have to explain how fusion chimerism works.
There are a few types of chimeras, but when a single individual is created from the combination of two fully fertilized zygotes, that is called fusion chimerism. That's what Moonpaw is.
And you have to understand, we're talking zygotes as in cells. The fusion of haploid gametes. NOT embryos (developing major organs) or fetuses (has major organs). When multiple embryos or fetuses are detected during pregnancy, but one vanishes, that is called Vanishing Twin syndrome (VTS).
There is actually very little linkage between VTS and the chance of a baby being born with fusion chimerism. At best it's an overstated link. At worst, it is a general misconception of Vanishing Twin syndrome.
Fusion Chimeras can happen in a lot of different ways, most of them fertilization errors, very few of them involving the multiple embryos of VTS. Likewise, the vast majority of VTS cases do not result in fusion chimeras. I explained Chimerism in-depth over in this post, and I encourage you to follow my citations to learn more if you're interested.
Sooooo... we're not even talking fetuses for Starpaw and Moonpaw. If they ever were separate, it would have been as embryos at best.
Which means that Moonpaw is haunted by cells that hadn't even developed major organs.
Ergo, we're joking around about how peculiar it is that Supernatural Utero Ghosts have happened thrice.

I like to imagine that as time passes, Carolina continues her attempts to relax with the help of the reds and blues. That after everything that happened on Chorus, Dr. Grey orders the whole group to have designated r&r time. What better place to do this than the local recreational center?
At the subtle hints Simmons drops about wanting to go fishing with Sarge, they finally have the chance to make this wish reality, made perfect by Griff opening a can of beer beside them. Sarge bitches at them when Griff forgets the bait, Simmons happily kisses his ass, and Griff chows down on some watermelon, getting his appetite ready for the fish they'll hopefully catch.
Donut, Carolina and Wash go to the zumba class. They mostly went to shut up Donut, but everyone gets strangely competitive. Not that any of the other guests are complaining, they certainly love to gossip, which Donut loves to indulge ofc.
Doc, Caboose, Tucker and Kai go to yoga together, clearing the mind and soul. It's easier for some (Caboose) than others. Admittedly, every time the yoga instructor tells them to switch poses, Doc has to shush the other three from repeating the same conversation over and over again:
"Now for downward dog-" "Now THAT'S what I'm talking about, Bow chicka bow wow!" "HOT-" Kai couldn't help but laugh.
"Who said that??" "Tucker did it."
"Guys, please - I don't want to get kicked out again!" Poor Doc.
It all becomes a part of their routine. Their lives can get busy for sure, but those classes at that recreational center are now somewhat sacred to them. Do they stress out the staff to no end? Absolutely. But I like to imagine that as they leave the center around sundown, Carolina's mischievous smirk she lost as a kid returns on her scarred lip, never to leave in the presence of the reds and blues.
Anyway yeah, I wanna make more fanart of all of them fucking around at the recreational center, but for now here's Carolina cuz she's my fav and I love her SO much.

can i just say. and this is probably a niche hill to die on. that i am so gobsmacked every time someone vaguely hints at the idea that jotaro doesn't care meaningfully for the other crusaders, usually particularly kakyoin and joseph, when those two actually tend to be the ones he reacts to being hurt the hardest
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
like he cares for his loved ones!!!! that literally plays into his character motives in every single part he shows up in!!! stop lying to me!!!!!!!
#me.txt#jjba#i'm going to ramble in tags actually. excuse me#ok. rereading sdc and so confused at the general perception of jotaro and his friends/family. he's not NEARLY as flat or as dickish#i understand that the anime (particularly the dub) tends to slander him but even then he still clearly cares for them! i'm confused#i also understand that a lot of people dig against jotaro and kakyoin as a dynamic because 'they're popular' and that generally disliking#popular things across media is a thing that i've seen consistently everywhere but the discredit to them simply as a DUO and not even as a#pairing is so..... odd..... like they're considered to be a duo that clicks for a reason. i enjoyed them even before i got into the fandom#every time i see someone say jotaro is overrated/dull i take a shot and assume they're an anime-only or only read the manga like once btw#joseph and jotaro also have a neat dynamic and they obviously both love and care for each other. like they're not going to go around loudly#or anything but literally the entirety of the lovers and the prelude to the dio fight IS jotaro being worked up over joseph getting hurt#equally i don't know if it translates to the anime as much but joseph is VERY complimentary when it comes to jotaro. like he sings his#praises so often and reminds everyone that he's his grandson so frequently (d'arby the gamer is a good example of this). either way it's so#peculiar....... there's not enough avdol and jotaro content btw (also in canon) because jotaro obviously looks up to him and avdol jokes#around with him on the occasion they interact after their intro which doesn't start very well. it's very cute#i do think an important thing to note about jotaro's character is how he acts AFTER his intro because he's so drastically different. early#jotaro and later jotaro aren't the same character and i do not mean this in a character development way. excluding the jail incident he's#completely different and probably shouldn't really be taken into account (especially considering the amount of slapstick in araki's intros)#and i think that's really???? what people center on for his character? Which sucks balls bad!#anyways. i could ramble more about this if asked i have so much to say but sigh. jotaro cares so much for his friends and family he's not a#flat fully cold asshole character regardless of whether you watch the anime or ova or read the manga. you just have poor media literacy#i wouldn't recommend watching solely the anime for his character though. the dub also changes a lot so it's... questionable#i love the anime and it's still important for him though. also adds neat stuff. i need to stop myself. i have many thoughts on the matter#jotaro kujo#joseph joestar#noriaki kakyoin#adding in case anyone sees: i am not saying that he is perfect about this. in fact he is very ass about it with jolyne and holly and that's#very important. he also is in fact an asshole sometimes. NOT as much as you guys are making him though!#please don't get me started on how much of a dick etc people make kakyoin to veer away from the 'woobified' characterizations of him#in fact i think that's bad if not worse because it CLAIMS to be in character. hes a prim asshole at times but not that angry or dishevelled
