late for valentines by about a week but: do you have any particular erisol headcanons about what their favorite things about each other are? any pet names they use other than the obvious nicknames?

ohhhh i can certainly pick a few! im always rotating little things my eridan and sollux like about each other <3

eridan's points of fondness — sollux is warm. his laugh is an ugly nasally snicker-y thing. sometimes there's moments he's so uncool it wraps back to being cool again. he's well attuned to how eridan works as a person.

eridan's pet names — i've mentioned before in prior tags that he sometimes uses darlin' and sweetheart. i find he tends to use them in an almost post-ironic sense; 'feminine' like a catty gay or a cowboy. they're used WAY less than when he affectionately calls sollux a shithead, bastard, prick, etc. but in terms of normal pet names, they're the staples. a rare pet name is sunshine; he just finds it charming that sollux's full name is practically "sun catcher" while he's just as bright and warm and dangerous as the sun. sometimes likes to call sollux his quadratrois, because they cannot be fucked to unblend their quadrants past one big smudge of romance.

sollux's points of fondness — eridan gets along well with aradia. he's very multi-faceted, and some of those facets to who he is are contradictions. he's made so much progress as a person since they were all six sweeps old. he prefers quiet nights in watching shows and movies over bigger dates.

sollux's pet names — besides the affectionate uses of asshole, idiot, dumbass, etc. sollux tends to only have "handsome" in his list of pet names. even then, he doesn't really use it that often. if he didn't exclusively use it as a descriptor, pretty-boy would be here too, lol. sometimes calls eridan his quadratres, because he likes to be a contradictory ass about what they call their blended quadrants lmao.

Would you guys believe me (Pluto fanbot person) that I've only been listening to Fire Fire and Star Valley Night from VQ since June?

I've relistened to the first act now (I'll get to act 2 soon) and omg every song is so good and I need to perform Daughter of Space as Pluto by last week

#minding my own business when i out-of-nowhere remember the multiple times she caused me to panic by dumping a lot of heavy #terrifying things onto me which made me terrified of enjoying any free-time i had because “what if something goes wrong while im away”#it threw me full-force back into my “im going to sleep all the time” phase because. at least towards the end i was terrified all the time #because at any point something could go Wrong and i would have to fix it #she broke the promise we made about telling each other about any quadrant stuff #and entered a moirallegience with someone without fucking telling me #she got mad at me for doing what she wanted because. fucking thats just a thing shes allowed to do #left me to think she killed herself twice despite the fact she was watching me the entire time while i fucking panicked #and then said she “didnt want to/didnt enjoy it” as if it just HAPPENED and she didnt fucking Plan that #knowingly put me under tremendous stress despite knowing i have a cardiovascular condition that has placed me in heart attack-range before #reportedly shit-talked me behind my back the entire time we were together (and i whole-heartedly believe the person who told me #because thats the kind of shit she did)#and nobody else in her system even thought to say “oh yeah lol this is like. bad. this guy is being abused by our sysmate”#i went for almost an entire year in invisible on discord because i was terrified of people messaging me #i STILL have all discord sound notifs turned off because it makes me panic #i barely spoke with my friends and had to constantly check discord /while in school/ because of her #and like. even disregarding all the shit she did to ME. she was just a fucking awful person #just. genuinely terrible to be around #but yk #whatevs

Also i realized earlier that I can just measure where the t shot is supposed to go and then arc my pant side down just enough that it exposes only the safe area, and take it that way. It IS weird to inject but it does mark things better for me cause once i sit down to do it I forget where my hand naturally lies when I'm standing

#I know there's multiple ways of measuring the safe zone #It's weird cause they seemingly contradict eachother sometimes ??#The 'one hand at your hip-start and another at your knee-start' puts it more in the mid-leg #And the 'divide your leg into 4 quarters and shoot into the upper outside quadrant' puts you in the 'unsafe zone' the former option gives #So I just kinda lay my hand at my side standing up as they naturally fall #That was the way I was first shown at my clinic so it stuck #Even though different nurses have different methods there #But when I sit down .. I forget where my hand fell .. lol
