OUF I JUST SAW YOUR ANSWER TO AN ASK ABOUT CHAPTER SEVEN AND I STARTED REREADING MYSELF WITH MY THINKING GOGGLES ON and this sentence jumped out at me:

I’m probably so wrong but this one felt like - oh? this is a lot ‘form of creation’ (cooper in the future - very funny parallel) and then ‘unveiling something deeper’ like the mystery perhaps of what happened !! Idk I’m clutching at straws rn but 😖😖😖😖 I’m starting to wonder if it’s almost like a canon event like thing and Cooper is going to change it ??? Like in spiderverse ?? Idk the fact in all timelines Kenny and Butters seem to be together and in each of them there’s something different so 👀 THIS IS JUST A THEORY AND IM PROLLY WRONG BUT I HAD FUN TRYING TO READ BETWEEN THE LINES

Fun little fact but that section you quoted is actually suppose to be a nod to Cooper’s origins and Kenny’s assumed answer as to why he chose to be a scientist in the future!! He basically answered his own question from back in chapter 2:

Kenny barely knew what he wanted to do for his future career until Cooper told him everything. He wondered how he even started down the path of his scientific career in the first place.

Kenny assumes he became a scientist because he thought how cool physics, astronomy, and mathematics intertwined with one other. But in chapter 13, the reader finds out that Kenny chose the path of science not just because he thinks science is pretty neat, but because Butters was the one to actually encouraged him to pursue it since he believed Kenny had potential! Kenny would not have been a scientist if it wasn’t for the man he’s in love with 💔

There wasn’t a clear idea in what field of study he wanted to pursue, but with the encouragement of Butters, he’d chosen the path of science. Kenny wasted nothing with his new opportunity.

“Ken, listen. I really do believe in you.” [Butters] spoke more softly, expression losing its teasing edge. “You’re capable of doing some amazing things. So let me give ya’ that push and help you out.”

Creation is a big part of Future-Kenny’s character, so a lot of things Kenny does in this chapter is an exact mirror with how his future self actually is! (Which makes the fight so much more devastating because Kenny keeps saying he’s nothing like his future self and that Cooper was a mistake/lab experiment 😿)

As for your second point… uhm uh uhhh ummmm uh mm 😳😳😳…. Let’s just say that there are things that happen in chapter 7, that once again get implied again in chapter 12 , and reference back to chapter 10, which all connect to the next upcoming chapter (chapters? Idk at this point) and will make the ending of chapter 8 make more sense….
