I've been thinking alot about the phrase "to me my x-men" in comparison to every other superhero team call to action phrase and I just can't thinking of anything that could even hold a candle too "to me, my x-men" like it's not just a little Hey guys time for a fight sorta thing like "avengers assemble" is. The meaning of it is so much deeper. To charles, his x-men. HIS X MEN. Charles xavier, the man who gave up his entire life, his chance at love, his sister, His LEGS, his entire family, fortune His. Entire. Life. for this cause. For the rehabilitation and integration of mutants into human society.

I think people who say charles only does these things because he has a saviour complex just don't understand his character at all. I fully believe that Charles - above all else - is a father first. It's in his very bones- the urge to be a caretaker, to nurture those who have been neglected- it consumes him whole. how can you say he only does it to fill a selfish little hole in his heart when he spent DECADES studying, reaserching, discovering anything and everything about mutants just so he could help them survive better. Sure, maybe at first he saved those kids, but those kids also saved him. He loves them all so much. Every last one. THERE ARE SO MANY TIMES CHARLES HAS DESTORYED EVERYTHING IN HIS LIFE JUST TO COME BACK TO THEM so you cant sit here and tell me that hes "just building a child army to satisfy his saviour complex" They are not just a means to an end for him, they are his family, his children, his x- men

we're so back guys i'm crying we got charles, erik, cyclops, kurt, mystique, gambit, and beast, and i'm pretty sure there are more they just didn't announced it today because where's my girl rogue?? 😭😭😭

but i'm still happy for this, it's more than what i was hoping for (i'd be happy with just cherik and i was a bit pessimistic actually) so yeah WE WON GUYS WE'RE GONNA SEE X-MEN ON THE BIG SCREEN AGAIN!!!!

I'm at loss of words to describe how I feel about X-Men'97 season finale.

The Cherik moments, Dark Pheonix showing up...Rogue turning Rogue for Remy... Logan and Morph.Other Marvel heroes cameo especially Daredevil. (where's my boi Spidey though??)

The final good byes( good lord the final good byes) and the cliff hanger.

My therapist is gonna have an earful this week I'm telling ya.
