See, that first gif is what I love about Denise's work. That look, that 'give me strength because this idiot has missed the point so thoroughly, it's all but flown over his head in high orbit,' look in the first gif encapsulates Dedra's mentality in S1 of Andor. Everybody else is so focussed on exercising power merely because they can, instead of seeing the wider implications of those power plays, and the consequences they could have. Dedra does, at least before Ferrix. Denise's comments about Dedra going 'full-fascist' in S2 makes me wonder if she loses her grip on her more pragmatic viewpoint just a little...
