They can call him what they want, doesn’t make it true. Supernatural was a budget show with only enough money for 2 leads (Jared and Jensen) and 2 regulars per season, that’s why Misha was rarely regular status. He should have went when Mark S left but he took a downgrade and paycut instead (which Mark S had the self respect to reject). The last downgrade was to make way for Mark P and Alex. C. He also was not automatically 3rd on the call sheet which is what I think they are getting at and confusing it with “lead.” He was given an “and” which is always a consolation prize and it’s still after the actual leads, not the same status as them. He was also given some promotion in articles predominantly by Sam H and Damian, who are superfans (Sam H is more of a Jensen superstan though). He wasn’t covered in anything meaningful as opposed to J2 who were both on shows like Conan. M wouldn’t have been invited on that show as GA don’t know who he is.

He was very lucky that Jared and Jensen were so generous and not divas and he took that and acted like a diva himself, riling his cult up constantly.
